The End Of An Era – The Legend Of RDJ
Hi ladies and gentlemen! We are finally here at the very last chapter of the samba club universe! I wanted to thank all of you who stuck with me since the very beginning, and I'm so glad that you have enjoyed my story so much! So anyway, let's get started…relax…put your feet up…and let's get to the final chapter! And as I always say…Let's…Get…TO IT!
"GO! GO GO GO!" RDJ spoke with determination whilst kicking Tomada's side, who wasn't impressed by this.
"You know, I'm not a horse bro? I'm a falcon!" Tomada rolled his eyes whilst trying to escape the sanctuary that was falling all around them, after destroying the staff and defeating Fred once and for all. "But you don't have the drool on my back. Wait…are you…are you peeing?!"
"No? Why would I be peeing?"
"I dunno? Probably because you're ol…" Monifa was about to say a certain word…but instantly paused when Lila slapped her on the back of her head. "I mean…Ol-Ol-Older? Than most…teens?" She giggled nervously whilst twiddling her wingtips.
"Nice save…" Lila winked at her friend as they were getting closer towards the exit.
"Yeah…but don't worry…I can promise you I'm not urinating on your back Tomada." RDJ chuckled in response. But in between laughing, he clenched onto his torso for a moment. Although he dared not to say anything to the others. Especially his wife.
"Sweetie? Are you okay?" Lila felt something touch her tail feathers whilst being carried by the falcon in his talons. "Are you crying?"
"No? I'm not…I'm…sweating! I just…I sweat a lot after a fist fight." RDJ lied, clenching his torso tighter…it was as if the wound on his torso was opening up.
"Well don't get too sweaty…I wanna feel how sweaty you get when we get home…" The blue female winked playfully as they finally made it outside into the open air. After witnessing the sanctuary completely destroyed after what happened in the vault.
Tomada landed on the very same wall where RDJ and Lila were stood when chasing down the carriage that carried away the book containing the secrets of the keys.
The falcon placed Lila and Monifa down and allowed RDJ to climb off of his back. And they all had a little breather whilst facing the now destroyed building that was once a sacred temple. Where the legendary assassin Jair spent his last days alive, before leaving the world of the living.
"Haaaaa…the end of an era. The war is officially over! I can't believe we finally made it. It's…not as relieving as I thought it would be?" Monifa remarked with a small smile, shuffling her feet from left to right on the concrete. "Such a shame that I couldn't learn as much as I could have done. I feel like I could have done a lot more."
"Don't be silly Monifa! You did as much as you could have done! You made your friends, Keith and your country proud!" Tomada praised her with a compliment, patting her on the back and making her blush.
Just as they had a little conversation about what they just went through…Lila had noticed that RDJ was stood at the very end of the wall. Gazing out at the sunrise…as the orange sun was rising into the sky. After appearing from behind the sea of clouds.
You can see the bright orange sun reflect in his crystal blue eyes, sighing in the most relaxed way possible, with the largest smile creeping across his beak.
He graciously picked up the very final key from the collection, and he started at the writing that was on top of it. Revealing the final memory of Jair's past.
Soon, he closed his eyes…and once again he was sucked into the world that was within the key like he had done before.

Deep Into The Assassins Sanctuary…
The sounds of light tapping from the pitter patter of rain drops were heard on the roof of the sanctuary. As the whole place was now abandoned and deserted like the entire building was a ghost town.
You could see an elderly blue and gold macaw stumble down the steps of what appeared to be a hidden vault. Alongside a younger blue and gold macaw, who revealed to be a female.
"Father…I don't understand? Why do you intend on hiding down here? The thugs are nowhere near here and…the chances of them finding us here are highly unlikely!" The female mumbled quite sadly. Lowering her head in defeat.
The elderly macaw chuckled and placed a wing on her shoulder, lifting her head up to face him. "Cough! Cough! Ahhhh…don't worry my little flower petal…I only intend to be here to keep this place hidden! We can't afford to have them take the staff back. Did you…"
"Yes…I hid the staff away in Brazil like you asked…and the keys…they have been hidden by the remaining assassins in Mexico…"
"Very good…Now…This is where…We say goodbye…" The weak old man grumbled, as he felt a huge pain in his heart.
"Will we…Will we see each other again?" She sadly replied, almost on the verge of tears.
"Be strong my dear daughter…one day…someone else will rise up…and when they do…they will finally bring peace to this darkened world…"
End Of Memory…
"Huaaaaaaa! Haaaaa…Haaaaa…Whoooo…" RDJ sighed and panted in relief…as he finally managed to see the final memory of Jair's story…truly finishing his father's work. "Indeed…the end of an era…" He whispered in a calm manner…as he pulled his hood down revealing his face. "I finally finished what my father started…and corrected all of his mistakes. I finally…ahhhh…finally fulfilled my purpose."
But then he unclipped his assassins cloak and dropped it to the floor, as well as removing the holsters and weapons he had on his possession. Causing his wife to smile so dreamily at him.
"Mentor? What are you…" The grey African female was about to ask him…but he immediately cut her off by raising his wing up to stop her from talking.
"I'm not your mentor anymore Monifa…You…You have come so far since we first met. And you have become a far wiser assassin than I ever was. And one day…you will also be the most skilful fighter the world has ever seen. You are something special…Monifa…" RDJ beamed in a calm manner, as he wrapped his wings around her in a comforting hug. Which took her completely by surprise. "Promise me that you will always be you?"
"I promise men…I mean…I promise RDJ!" Monifa corrected herself, allowing a few emotional tears to roll down her cheek. Knowing that this was potentially a goodbye. "Will we…Will we ever meet again?"
RDJ smirked and patted her on the back again. "Don't worry…We will see each other again! You have my word!"
Monifa nodded and took a few steps back, allowing Tomada to step forwards. As he too felt that this maybe was some kind of heartwarming speech.
"Tomada…Haaaaa…You and I have really come a long way haven't we?" He smirked at his best friend. Who couldn't help but let out the tiniest of laughs in response to him. "But of course we have had our moments! Like the time I beat you in a wing wrestle?"
"Oh here we go again! I told you that I didn't have a lot to eat that day!" The falcon lied as he had a good laugh wiry his closest friend. Giving him a man hug, whilst he too felt a few emotional tears emerge from his eyes.
"You will never change…right?"
"Never! I will always be the same RDJ! Just strong…and better looking than you!"
"Ha! You wish!" RDJ joked as they shared one last man hug, before he too took a few steps back.
But just as he did so…he noticed that a certain liquid was dripping from Lila's tail feathers. At first he wasn't exactly sure what it was. But after a close analysis…he immediately knew what it was.
"Hey ummm, Lila? I think your butt is bleeding?" Tomada pointed his wing at her, who was extremely confused at this point. "Not that I was staring! But you have red liquid on your tail feathers…it looks pretty bad!"
"What are you talking about?" She tried to find the supposed wound on her ass, but she couldn't find anything. "It's not me? Are you sure that it's not your back that's bleeding? Because there was a cold liquid dripping on me during the escape?"
"No? I already checked! If it isn't me…And it's not you…Then who could it…" Tomada was just about to finish his sentence…his eyes fell upon his best friend. Noticing that his wing was stained in blood…which could only mean one thing. "D-D-Dude?"
"Ahhhhhhh…" Suddenly, RDJ groaned in agony and collapsed on the ground in an instant. With blood pouring out from his torso…Blood staining his wing, as he was struggling to breathe through the pain.
"H-H-Honey?" Lila instantly panicked when seeing him react this way…and her fears began to escalate once he was coughing up some blood on the ground. "HONEY!"
"Oh no…" Tomada panicked as all three of them rapidly moved to his aid…as Lila held him close to her breasts. As Tomada was holding one wing…and Monifa was pressing her wings on the wound. That looked like it was difficult to patch up, due to the amount of blood he was losing. "Bro? Are you okay?! What happened?! Did you…"
"Shhhh…Shhhhh…You…You talk wayyyy too much! Sorrel always said that…Cough! COUGH COUGH!" The blue and gold male coughed up a lot of blood…as some of it went on Lila's breasts. As well as Tomada and Monifa's wings. "S-S-Sorry about that…"
"No no no! You don't have to be sorry about anything buddy! We have to get you out of here! We have to save you!" Tomada cried as he was preparing to carry him to safety, but RDJ grasped onto his wing and pulled him back.
"Haaaaa…I'm afraid…It's…It's too late for that now…COUGH! COUGH COUGH!…Ahhh…I'm afraid that…this is my…final curtain call…"
"NOOO! DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT!" Lila bursted out in sadness, with a stream of tears pouring down her cheeks. As her cheeks began to get very damp from her tears. "Please…I can't…I can't lose you again! I already lost you twice! I don't want to lose you again! I can't!"
"H-H-Honey…I…I'm sorry…I'm s-s-s-sorry for everything! I wasn't…wasn't good enough to you…or…the k-k-kids…" He stuttered quite weakly, feeling his life draining from his body.
"No…don't say that! You are an amazing father! And amazing husband! You are…"
"Were…" RDJ corrected her, as he faintly smiled at his beloved wife.
"Are…" She tried not to think about it, as she held him a lot closer to her.
"W-W-Were…"
"ARE!"
"You…You never back down do you?" He chuckled lovingly, as he brushed a wing through her head feathers. Gazing dreamily into her bright purple eyes, that he had always admired since the very first day that they met. "Your eyes…They are…Really are extraordinary!"
"Sniff…Sniff Sniff…Please…There…There must be something I could do?! There…has to…must be…" Lila got cut off from her sentence when RDJ leaned in and passionately kissed his wife on the beak.
Tomada and Monifa decided to take a few steps back to allow the two of them to have some brief alone time.
Their tongues collided so many times as they felt their hot breath inside each other's beaks. Even though Lila was tasting a bit of blood, she didn't care at all.
"Lila…you…have done…s-s-so much for me! You gave me…everything that I could have wanted! A sexy…beautiful…amazing wife! Beautiful children who will one day be amazing in their own ways…Amazing friends…and a beautiful home. I'm just glad that…my soulmate was…right in front of me…the entire time!" RDJ whispered weakly, as he leaned in and whispered something in her ear. "Paty…She took care of me…when my father was in The Amazon…"
Lila immediately widened her eyes as a memory briefly shot into her mind from her past…
Lila's Brief Flashback…
"Hey…Come check this out!" A very young Lila whispered to her friend in the nest next to her. Who of course was a very young blue and gold macaw.
"What is it Lila?" He asked cutely as they reached the edge of the hollow, staring out into the sky as a beautiful sky full of stars was lighting up the atmosphere. "Wow! This is beautiful! What are they?"
"I think my mom says they are called stars?"
"Wow! They are…extraordinary!" The young chick beamed as the stars shone in his eyes. Then he turned to look at his friend, who had bright purple eyes. "Hey…Lila?"
"Yeah?" She replied cutely with a real shine in her eyes.
"I think…your eyes are…extraordinary too!"
"Wow! Thank you! And you have nice eyes too!" Lila complimented him back as they wrapped their ti y wings around each other. "Hey…we are always going to be together right?"
"Right! Don't worry Lila…we will always be together…"
End Of Flashback…
"Haaaa…You…You and I were close friends? When we were chicks…" Lila looked beyond shocked that she remembered that brief memory. But she was glad that she did remember it. "I knew we were soul mates!" She dreamily spoke in a soft tone…feeling her heart sinking into her chest.
"I know my love…I know. And I promised you that…COUGH! COUGH!…That we'd…ackkkk…always be…tog-ether…" RDJ panted more and more, as he felt his body becoming more cold and stiff. "L-L-Lila?"
"Sniff…Sniff…Y-Y-Yes my love?" Lila cried in the most heartbroken manner, feeling his body getting heavier and heavier. "Hey…try and stay with me okay?! You have to try and stay with me!"
"I…ackkkaaa…will al-ways…be…w-w-with you…in…here…" RDJ weakly rose his wing and placed it in between her breasts. Feeling her beating heart, that was beating very fast due to this emotional moment.
"And you…will always be in my h-h-heart forever!" Lila cried, as the tears were falling onto his chest feathers.
"I…I j-just want…you to know…That…Thanks…To you…I…I finally feel free! I feel…like all the pain in my heart…has finally washed away…Thanks to you…I am…no longer suffering…I am finally…happy with the life I've lived…all thanks to you…COUGH!…"
"H-H-Honey…" Lila tried so very hard to hold back any more tears…but it was just so difficult for her. They were dripping on his head feathers like a running waterfall.
RDJ once again brushed a wing up against her cheek, and she held it there whilst she nuzzled her cheek into his wing. He weakly smiled at her…trying to say as much as he could in his final moments alive…but unfortunately for him…he can only manage to mutter only a few more words…in his dying breath.
"I…w-w-will always…always love you…My beautiful…Lila…Ahhhhh…I-I-I will always love all of you…" His breathing began to slow down…his heart beat was getting more faint and slow…his eyes were also struggling to stay awake.
"Honey…" Lila felt his wing getting heavier and heavier also.
"Ackkkkaaaaahhhhhhh…" Suddenly…RDJ's wing fell gradually from Lila's cheek, and landed right on the floor next to where he was laying…the light from his eyes had completely vanished…and with one last fighting breath…he became very still.
"Honey…Honey…HONEY! RDJ! SWEETIE PLEASE!" Lila didn't want to believe what she had just seen before her very eyes. She shook his body a few times…even slapped him a few times on the cheeks to try and wake him up…but it was of no use…The head of the assassins…Was no longer with us…RDJ…was gone from this world. "Please…Please wake up…Please my love…Just…stop fooling around! Wake up…kiss me…hold me…l-l-love me!"
The blue female buried her face in his now cold chest feathers, as now laying in front of her…was nothing but her deceased husband.
"He…He saved us…And we…We couldn't save him?" Monifa cried sadly, as she put her face in her wings. Completely unable to control her tears herself.
"My best friend…my brother…I…I can't believe he's…gone?" Tomada himself couldn't control his tears himself. He wrapped a wing around Monifa in comfort…and the trio all walked towards the now weeping Lila…and they both hugged her from behind. As all three of them began to grieve together.
(Proud – JLS Starts Playing)
(Tomada decided to break the hug and pat both females on the shoulders, before leaning over and picking up RDJ's body in his wings. Carrying him away towards the horse and carriage. The very same horse that RDJ used to chase after the thug captain when they first came here.)
When my strength was gone and I just gave up on life,
In my darkest place you were my guide,
And you told me that I should live my life to the limit,
When you fall down, get back up and fight!
(The trio of heroes made it back to the airport where Dominic and Olga were waiting for their return. But when they saw who Tomada was carrying…Dom immediately hugged Lila and apologised to her for her loss. Giving his friend some comfort. As Olga hugged Monifa and asked if she was okay.)
Well the shape of my heart don't lie,
I'm determined when you trust in me,

(When all five of them were sat on the plane together on the way home to Rio, a heartbroken Lila had a brief memory. It was the memory of how she first met RDJ when he saved her life from Nigel. Also she had another memory of their first time together in the beach pad…when she felt his muscular body up against hers. Feeling the pleasure of love and ecstasy when they mated.)

(Monifa remembered when she first met RDJ in the pit. And she used the dead bodies in the pit to cause a distraction for her mentor to kill the vicious jaguar.)
I never gave up then, 'Cause you said', "Keep hope alive"!
And a champion gives one last try, Yeah!
(Tomada remembered when he first travelled back to the old assassins guild with RDJ to try and find what they were looking for. Because he remembered that's when he told RDJ that he thought of him as his best friend. A memory that he will never forget.)
Said, "I deserve the best in life I should be winning",
You gotta spread your wings and prepare to fly!
(The plane finally arrived back at the airport in Rio, and as you can imagine…everyone from team samba club was waiting for them to return. Holding up torches and signs to welcome home the hero who killed all the remaining thugs.)

(When everyone noticed that Tomada was carrying someone in his wings, they lowered their wings in fear…but just as they got closer…all of them began to console Lila. And give their condolences, whilst Tomada continued to carry the deceased blue and gold male through the crowd. Emily and Leandro were too upset to stick around and decided to flee the scene. Causing their mother's best friend Jacqui to chase them down to talk to them about what had happened.)

(A brief scene opens up on everyone from team samba club, including many of the locals have come holding candles. As they have buried RDJ's body in a grave next to his parents…and Lila was stood in the corner with Jacqueline by her side. Wearing a black veil that went over her head. As she also stood with the other grieving widows. Siax, Iris and Kelly.)
Nobody can tell me, they were there for me,

There was pain in every heartbeat,
But eventually, You built my resolve to be strong!
(One by one they all threw roses on top of the grave, as well as some of the items that Monifa had recovered from the sanctuary. To bury into his grave. All of them said a few words to express how much RDJ has done for them…before stepping back to allow someone else to speak.)

We Open Up On A Scene In The Jungle…Four Years Later…
Ahhhh…there is nothing quite like a peaceful day here in the beautiful country of Brazil!
Birds were singing…creatures were scavenging for food and water, as well as the occasional local enjoying life without danger, thugs, or war for that matter!
But our focus will be mainly on a particular tree hollow near the beaches of Rio. And in that said tree hollow, appeared to be an elderly blue macaw female. Currently resting in her nest, as if she had the roughest night of her life.
She sighed heavily and managed to lift herself up from the nest, before waddling over to the hollow entrance. Only to let her eyes scan the ground, seeing nobody but Tiago and Hazel playing with their own children. Who looked really excited and happy with how the world is now.
"Hehe…Ahhhh…Now this is what we needed…just a life full of peace…haaaa…if only you were here with me." The female trailed off as she was about to head back to her next, but before she even got to sit back down again. She heard someone arriving at the hollow entrance.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Lila? Are you in there?" It was in fact Sorrel who was standing in the hollow entrance, with Tomada by her side. "How are you? We haven't seen you in a few weeks?"
"Me? I'm okay…I've just been…you know. Resting here since…" The blue female stuttered quite sadly. But both of her friends knew what she was saying…because they know what she's been through.
"We understand you Lila! First losing the love of your life…now Jacqueline is spending a few months in Venice with Andy. I don't understand why you didn't go with them?" Sorrel pondered whilst cocking her head to the side in curiosity. "It would have been nice for you to maybe get out of the hollow ever so often?"
"You know what? I think I might head to the waterfall today. Besides…I still need to read that letter that Monifa and Keith dropped off to me four years ago. I'm glad that they decided to move back to Egypt to be the royal guards! To none other than Siax of course who is now the Queen of Egypt!"
"I know! Such a shame that Alex couldn't be here to be her King. But he did give his life to save us." Tomada remarked sadly whilst looking at the floor.
"Yeah…I should really read it to be honest."
"Oh…right! How is it you haven't read that yet? It has been four years?" Tomada asked next, feeling quite exhausted from flying.
"I just…wanted to find the right time to do it you know? So…I think I'm gonna do it now…" The blue female sighed whilst walking straight past her friends. "Oh, by the way…could you tell Emily and Leandro to meet me at the waterfall tonight at roughly 8pm?"
"Ummm…sure? Why exactly?" Sorrel questioned her, whilst narrowing her eyes.
"No reason. Just…tell them to meet me!" Lila sighed whilst flapping her wings and gradually flying out of the tree hollow.
Tomada and Sorrel turned to face each other and shrugged their shoulders. Before they exited the tree hollow to most likely head home. After a very tiring morning.
Later That Evening…
The sky has finally cleared and turned from its usual clear blue skies, to a navy blue to pitch black darkness. With many stars that filled the night sky, giving it a beautiful wondrous look.
Lila was sat on the edge of the waterfall banks, dangling her talons over the edge whilst feeling the cold running water splash on her toes every so often. This made her close her eyes in relaxation.
But soon, the fluttering of wings had been heard from behind her. She turned to face none other than her two hybrid children who were of course all grown up.
Leandro and Tina were now a married couple, and she had one child along the way! And she was currently at a small baby shower that Carla and Bia had thrown for her. Emily was of course invited herself, but she responded to the call that her mother gave her. Leaving her current boyfriend Diante, back home.
"Hey mom? What's all this about?" Emily asked sweetly as she gave her mother a hug alongside her brother. Who also gave her a warm embrace. "Aunt Sorrel seemed very worried about you when she asked us to come here?"
"Even uncle Martin was confused by this! I mean, I was just having dinner with my new parents in law. Douglas even thought that this was a bit strange." Leandro chuckled and both sat next to their mother.
"Haaaaaa…I called you both here…because I wanted you guys to see…where me and your father were the day before we got married!" Lila sighed as she wrapped both wings around her children.
The three of them sat in silence for a brief few moments, listening to the running water as it made its powerful descent into stream down below.
Lila then went into her holster that she still wears to this day…and she pulled the letter out. Causing both her children to be shocked by what they saw.
"You…think it's time?" Leandro asked seriously, placing his wing on top of his mother's.
Instead of answering verbally, she nodded her head and proceeded to read the letter to them. As both Emily and Leandro snuggled closer to their mother.
(RDJ's Final Letter To His Family – RDJ's Voice Speaks In The Background…)
Dear my beloved family,
If you are reading this letter…then I have either died in a tragic circumstance. Or maybe I was captured and tortured somewhere. But let's be honest…it would never be the second one.
(Lila laughs a little when reading that part)
I knew that my health was not as great as it once was…and that half the things I used to do I struggled to do as I got older.
I mean I even struggled to fly ten miles without feeling a stroke coming. Hehe…And I thought I was completely fine.
(In a brief scene…In Italy – Jacqueline is given a letter by Andy. And Mason and Florence were there so also listen to the letter as Jacqueline read it to them.)
But one thing was always for certain…my heart was in the right place…and I knew what I wanted! I just wanted to be free of the pain and suffering that I've felt since I watched my parents die!
It was never going to be an easy task to find who was responsible…let alone kill them. But I was too young…too stubborn to even realise the dangers of facing these tasks alone.
(Somewhere else in the world, Siax was sat on the throne bored out of her mind. But Keith and Monifa approach her and read a manuscript that had been given to them by a messenger bird. Who brought the letter to them from Rio…as Keith read the letter to his girlfriend and best friend.)
But if it weren't for those of you who have come across my path as the years passed by…I couldn't insure that I would have been more successful in the things that I have done.
Lila…I realise that you will probably hate me for hiding this away from you…but the truth is…I knew that I wouldn't be alive forever. But the reason why I didn't tell you…was because I tried to do everything in my power to save the world…and save you from certain death!
(In another cut scene…Jaime and Lexi went to Paris to visit Max. As well as Pepe and Santiago who were visiting from Spain. As they were listening to Jaime reading the letter they received.)
That's why I was always sneaking around and hiding things from you…not because I was lying or keeping secrets…It was because I knew that I had to prevent whoever was behind all of this from destroying the world!
But obviously I admit…there are some things that I regret in my life…
Not being nicer to my teacher Tilly…
Being more respectful to my friends when they only tried to help me…
Showing a bit more decency to those who wanted to be with me in my darkest times!
But of course there will always be the one thing that I regret the most…It will be all those times that I should have taught Emily and Leandro how to fly…give Leandro the…'Talk'…and of course…spending every possible moment that I could with you my love!
(At this point Lila was on the verge of tears.)
I just want you to know…that I will always love you…and to prove that I do…make sure that you read this exactly four years later…on this day…at 8pm! Because this is the exact day…that I proposed to my beloved wife…all of those years ago!

Haaaaaaaa…We finally did it ladies and gentlemen! The samba club saga is officially over and completed! I've gotta be honest, I enjoyed writing this saga a lot. But I believe that now was the time to officially end it. As I move on to other projects and create new stories and adventures!
