Chapter 2: Fateful Encounters.
The next day was bright and sunny over the small mountains in the forest. Trees are whistling in the breeze of natural wind as few leaves fall from the branches. On the wall sides of the rocky hills and small mountains, are obstacle courses and equipment such as ropes, hurdles and climbing mechanisms.
At the edge of the forest area on the top of the cliff, was a group of students and a single teacher walking towards the cliffside as one rushed forward to get a better good look at the unique form of the forest. The one who looked beyond was Izuku Midoriya, dressed in his Hero Costume, who stared towards the scenery with awe and amazed expression as he looked at the obstacle courses he could see in the distance.
"Wow, this place looks amazing," Izuku said happily as he continues to stare at the forest area, seeing the tracks and other activities within the forest had gotten him excited. His reaction to the new environment has gotten the giggle from a couple of girls, Asuka and Hibari, who were in their respective attire like their fellow Shinobi Students smiling at his reaction. Shoto let off a small smile while Bakugo scoffed, both in their Hero Costumes like Midoriya.
"I'm glad you enjoy the scenery, Izuku," He turns around and saw Kiriya stops near the green-haired boy and looks over the area he took them to. "Just like I said if you remembered yesterday, there are two training areas for Shinobi students in the academy. You already know about our other training site, but this one is where you can perform to your fullest as well as do other activities such as obstacle courses as you can see before you."
"So this place is like the extensive training, unlike the training hall where we learn common hand-to-hand and so on." Shoto summarized as he looked at the training forest, seeing the place reminded him of the summer training camp last year where they train their Quirks constantly before the League Of Villains attacked and kidnapped Bakugo.
Bakugo scowls at the sight of the forest, seeing it reminds him of what happened to him last year but he's not gonna let that drag him down and set those thoughts aside. He focuses on what Kiriya and Todoroki just said and punches his fist in his palm. "Then what are we doing standing around for, huh? Let's get this started already."
"Hold on, Bakugo. There are a few things to discuss and do first before you can begin." Kiriya halt him, getting an irritating grunt from the blonde boy as the teacher looked towards Izuku. "Now, why don't you join us, Izuku? So we can begin."
"Oh, right!" Izuku seems to snap out of the scenery of the view before him and rushes up to join the group and stand beside Asuka who smiled at him. She's wearing the same uniform he remembered when he first met her including a green skirt, stockings and brown school shoes.
As everyone gathered up in front of the Stoic Teacher, Kiriya folded his arms and begins his lecture. "Now, as far as the boys are aware, there are Good Shinobi that allied with the states to protect the people within the shadows. However, there are also those who break the law and don't follow the same rules as Good Shinobi do. They are those we call 'Evil Shinobi.'"
"Evil Shinobi?" Izuku thought out loud as he write down the notebook he just got out of. "So they're sort of like Villains Then."
"They work for the bad guys, right?" Hibari said with her hands behind her back. She wears what appears to be a P.E. sports uniform. A bright pink tracksuit jacket with bright red outlines and Hanzo insignia on the left side of her torso, black tight-skin shorts, bright pink long socks, and white and bright red shoes. "I'll show them a thing or two."
"That's what we Good Shinobi do, uphold justice," Asuka said with her fist up and an enthusiastic smile.
"Besides the boys here, you were all Shinobi from the moment you set foot in this school. You'll need to learn to set aside your feelings." Kiriya told them as he continued talking. "I'm gonna train you all to be full-fledged Shinobi. So prepare yourselves for what awaits you." He then turns to the boys in the group. "As for you three, I may have no knowledge of you special abilities you called Quirks or what you do in your other world, but I will do what I can to help you fully master those traits. Understood?"
"Yes, sir." Izuku and Shoto replied with a nod as Bakugo scoffed in response.
"Very well. Now, I'll explain the camouflage barrier to you." Kiriya waves his right hand around the area and behind them. "As all of you noticed when we entered this training area, this place has been protected by the technique all Shinobi can pull called the Camouflage Barrier. It is a Shinobi's duelling space. When the Shinobi enters combat, it blockades off the space of the fixed size, impenetrable to the average person."
"So that explains why you wave your hand around when we left Hanzo academy to the thickest part of the forest." Shoto realized as he thinks back to a few minutes ago when he saw Mister Kiriya wave his hand around in front of him. He was confused at first like the two of his friends, but then he saw a mistic transparent wall opening up to them. He figured he'll explain that when he, Midoriya and Bakugo saw it.
"It's useful to convert activities, but there is a downside." Kiriya continues his lecture. "Since Shinobi can sense its activation, you'll give away your position."
"I see." Izuku finishes writing down in his notebook and closes it shut. "So this Camouflage Barrier can be used for battle without civilians getting caught in the crossfire. That's actually pretty clever."
"It's also used so no one around the world can know the existence of Shinobi," Ikaruga added as she walked beside him and gave out a pleased smile. She wears pretty professional attire with a white gold-trimmed jacket as well as six buttons and a few golden tassels strewed across. She has a Hanzo armband pinned to her upper left arm, a short gold-trim white skirt, black tights on her legs and boots with similar colours as the rest of her clothing. "But you're also right for not having the bystanders involved in Shinobi affairs."
"And let's not forget don't use the barrier out of the blue." Katsuragi teasingly stated as she looks at her with a knowing smile, earning a disapproving look from the Class Representative. Katsuragi wears her own school uniform like Asuka, but her clothes are quite...revealing. She wears a blue tie and blue skirt, along with white long socks and bronze-trimmed brown metal boots. She wears a white shirt, but she has hers completely undone, revealing absolutely nothing underneath. That got the boys to question her choice of clothing, mainly Izuku who keeps blushing every time he sees her like that, but he's not gonna let his voice known as he knows it's gonna do him more harm than good. Though that won't stop Katsuragi from having a mischievous look she has given him, so he's more scared about that.
Kiriya grunted gaining the group to look at him. "Now, let's get to what we first started on our yesterday's lesson." He turns towards the boys with a knowing look. "Do any of you know about what we discussed in your first lesson?"
"Oh! I know." Izuku was the first to answer as he open up his notebook and went through the pages until he found the right one. "It is about the Secret Ninja Arts. They can give the user their power by generating five elements of their own choosing. But in order to do that, they must summon an animal as their companion, whether it be real or mythical."
"Well done, Izuku." Kiriya smiled pleasantly, feeling proud of the young man for his fast knowledge and relying upon his notes in case he's forgotten. "For this first training, we'll be practising our special moves using the Secret Ninja Arts at our disposal." He turns towards the four which are Asuka, Ikaruga, Katsuragi and Yagyu. "You four will be the first to go. Don't hold anything back."
"Yes, Kiriya Sensei!" They all bowed in unison.
Katsuragi turns towards the boys and lets out a mischievous smirk at her newest target. "I hope you get a really good look, Izuku~" She snickered as she pulls up her blue tie high giving him more reveal of her defenceless chess, earning a squeak from Izuku whose face is deep red crimson and turns away quickly along with Shoto and extremely annoyed Bakugo.
"Katsuragi, stop tormenting our classmates." Ikaruga scolded her, very unhappy at the blonde perv as she dragged her away from the embarrassed boys she felt so sorry for her classmate's antics. Katsuragi wasn't complaining as she felt satisfied at the green-haired boy's flustered face.
Asuka frowns at Kat's sexual teasing and she doesn't like it when she did that to Izuku. Deciding to cheer the boys up, she turns towards them and gave out a smile. "Wish us luck, okay."
Izuku was the first to give her a response after recovering his flustered face and looks at her with an encouraged smile. "W-we will. Do your best out there, Asuka." Asuka's smile turns brighter at his response as she nodded to him before rushing to join her friends.
"Good luck, Yagyu!" Hibari beamed at her best friend walking alongside the others, who wear a black cloak and a bandana mask around her neck, a light brown blazer with a white shirt and red tie, a red skirt, ankle-length socks and brown shoes. Yagyu smiled at Hibari's encouragement, but she's feels worried about leaving her there with the boys, especially that blonde delinquent with anger issues. All she can do is set aside those feelings and get to the matters at hand.
While the remaining girls getting prepared for their training, the boys and Hibari look onward waiting for what awaits them. Bakugo clicked his tongue impatiently while placing his palm on his side. "Let's see what these extras can do."
"With what we know about the Secret Ninja Arts so far, I have a feeling their powers must be strong," Shoto said as he stared at the girls who are splitting up, possibly to give each other some space.
"Yeah, And I can't wait to see what kind of abilities they have," Izuku responded excitedly as he readied his notebook. He then turns towards Hibari next to him. "I also remembered you get to summon an animal today, right?"
"Yep, and I'm super excited!" The Pink-haired girl replied bubbly giving him her carefree smile, which Izuku smiles back albeit sheepishly as he looks forward. Hibari continues to look at him as if she was completely thankful. "And I already know what kind of animal I'll summon all thanks to you, Izuku."
In the distance, Ikaruga was standing in front of the rocky boulder with her hands grasping o the samurai sword she just summoned out of thin air. She had her eyes closed for a few seconds until she began to open them and brought out her sword, with the blade started glowing blue with a tint of flame in them.
"Secret Ninja Art: Phoenix Flame Flash!" Ikaruga called out as she swings and slashes at the boulder until she called it off and slowly close the sword to the holder. And by the moment she fully closed it, the boulder has now turned into a pile of rubble, much to the boys' surprise.
Next up, Katsuragi runs up towards the edge of the narrowed cliff and jumps up into the air. "Come to me, my dragon!" She falls down towards the ground and lands in the kneeling position, just before she started to break dance with her legs up high
"Secret Ninja Art: Tornado Spindel!" She creates a massive tornado and blows away massive debris and destroys the ground below her.
"Secret Ninja Art: Leg-Sweeper." Yagyu summons a giant squid with her Umbrella, which gets the boys by surprise, and the creature uses its giant tentacles and spins itself fast and creating massive debris and destruction in its wake.
And last and not least, Asuka rushed towards the bamboo forest while summoning her duel swords in her waist. She grasps the handles of her sword as the insides of the holders began to glow bright green.
"Secret Ninja Art: Dual Slash!" Asuka brings them out and swings a single slash towards the trees while rushing forward. By the time she stops past them and closes her swords to their holsters, the bamboo trees were sliced in half and are tumbling down.
Among the sidelines, three boys, Hibari and Kiriya look towards the sight bestowed upon them with different reactions. Izuku and Hibari look on with awe and amazement as the former rabidly notes down what he sees before him. Shoto watches with his eyes slightly widened, surprised by what transpired, while Bakugo was impressed by these extras powers, but refuses to admit it out loud. Kiriya let out a pleasing smile while nodding proudly as they saw the girls walking towards them.
The stoic Teacher walks forward and greets them proudly. "Asuka, Ikaruga, Katsuragi, your performance is outstanding." All four of them bowed their heads in thanks as he turns towards Yagyu. "Yagyu, as calamariffic as ever." his statement got the white-haired girl to smile.
"Um, calamariffic? Is that an actual word?" Izuku raise an eyebrow, confused at his choice of words as Shoto sweatdrop though seems to be aware of this while Bakugo eye's twitched.
"Kiriya Sensei is something of an expert at giving compliments," Ikaruga informs the green-haired boy with a smile.
"What kind of shitty compliment is that?" Bakugo questioned rudely at the statement from the Strict Girl, who just let out a defeated sigh knowing his opinion is less than colourful, earning a sympathetic smile from Katsuragi beside her.
Kiriya too sighed at the blonde boy's statement but chose not to dwell on it and turns towards the certain pink-haired girl in the group. "Hibari."
"Y-yes Sensei?" Hibari nearly jumps at his sudden call but pays attention non less.
"Are you ready to show off what you can do?" Kiriya asked her with his left hand at his side, which got Hibari's attention and smiled with bubbly confidence. "Then I suppose you already decided what kind of animal you can summon? Remember, it can only work if you have compatibility with them."
"Yep! It took me a little while, but I finally chose someone that I should get along with best!" Hibari nodded cheerfully as she bends down forward and smiles bubbly.
"Oh? Would you like to try then?" Kiriya offered her as he gestured her over with his hand, telling her to proceed.
"Okay!" Hibari runs off excitedly and headed towards the narrow cliff until she stops several feet away. She turns around to face the group before bringing her arms close and shutting her eyes with a serious face, all while shaking slightly and silently grunting as if she's concentrating really hard.
Everyone was watching the scene as Yagyu took a couple of steps forward. Izuku blinked for a second as he prepared to note down what Hibari has in store. "Whoa... she's really giving it her all."
"I've never seen Hibari so serious," Asuka said while watching Hibari concentrate. "What on earth is she trying to summon?"
"Do you think she's trying to summon a mystical creature?" Shoto wondered, looking almost interested in what she was trying to summon.
"She could be, but I hope she's summoning something sexy!" Katsuragi said with a perverted grin.
"I don't understand what you mean." Ikaruga sweatdrops while giving her a questionable look. She may already be aware of her fellow Third Year's perverted nature but she cannot understand what was going on in her head.
Bakugo scoffed while staring at the Pink-Haired Wimp with an even look. "She looks like she's crapping herself hard acting like that. I bet she's summoning something that acts like a wimp like her."
"Do you have to be so mean, Bakugo?" Asuka pouted, not happy with the insults the Explosion-User keep using as he turns his head away with a huff.
"Good luck, Hibari." Yagyu encourage her best friend, though it was clear her voice is a little strained when her single eye and mouth twitched in slight anger when she overheard Bakugo's statement towards Hibari. While she wants nothing more than to teach him his place, She wants to support Hibari and hopes to prove the delinquent wrong about her.
"Please... Come to me..." Hibari thought as she's concentrating to her absolute fullest. In the few moments of silence, something big landed behind her with a loud thud, that got her to open her eyes in delight and turn around to see what she's summoned. To her amazement and excitement, it was an unusually large rabbit with pink fur and red eyes. "Ah! It's Here!"
"A rabbit!?" Izuku and Asuka screamed out in surprise and awe, having never seen a rabbit so big before.
"That thing is Massive!" Bakugo yelled out in bewilderment and shock, didn't expect Pink Hair to summon something so big, let alone a rabbit!
"And it's so pink," Shoto said as he blinked his eyes widened at the sight of the unusually large rabbit.
Hibari jumps on top of the rabbit's back and sits on it as the rabbit moves and hops towards the mountain with trees. And in a matter of seconds, a cloud of giant dust appeared as the booming sound echoed in the air, following more dust and booming as Hibari happily enjoyed herself in the rabbit's back as it continues to tremble in its wake.
The group watches on with a mix of amazement, awe and disbelief seeing the bunch of dusty clouds created by Hibari's summoning animal. Katsuragi was the first to respond as she place the side of her hand on her forehead. "Awesome..."
"It's a lot more destructive than it looks," Ikaruga commented while she too looks at the scene with wide eyes.
Yagyu looks at where Hibari was and proudly smiled at Hibari's accomplishment. She then turns towards Bakugo who has a disbelieving look in his eyes and her proud smile turns to a petty smirk. "Summoning something that acts like a wimp, you say?"
Bakugo heard her mocking tone and turn towards her with an angered face along with a comical tick mark. "Shut your mouth, Eye-Patch!"
Before things escalated, the giant pink rabbit jumped off the hill and descended to the cliff, only to disappear in a puff of smoke as it was about to land. Hibari fell to the concrete ground and handed on her knees, but instead of feeling hurt, she looks happier than ever. "I did it! I did it!"
Kiriya walks towards Hibari and lets off a proud smile on his face. "Well done, Hibari. That was quite rabbitastic."
"Thank you so much!" Hibari thanked him while standing up and saluting him with a wink.
"He really does sound complimentary," Shoto commented at the Teacher's creative word.
"It's a shitty compliment," Bakugo stated, already feeling he had enough of White Hair's terrible mix-words.
As Hibari stands straight, someone place a hand on her shoulders and turns to see who it was, and to her delight, it was Yagyu giving off a very proud smile. "You did it, Hibari."
"Yeah. Congratulation." She looks forward and saw Izuku walking towards her with Asuka beside him. He just finished writing down what he got from Hibari and wanted to confront her with a kind smile. "What you did out there was really amazing, Hibari."
"He's right. you must've felt really happy!" Asuka joins in, agreeing with her new friend and smiled happily at Hibari.
Hibari nodded her head and smiled bubbly at them. "I am!" She then turns to Izuku and looks at him gratefully. "But I wanted to thank you, Izuku."
Izuku blinked along with Asuka and Yagyu who watches on. "Thank me, for what?"
"For giving me the push of what I want to summon," Hibari responded cheerfully, but that seems to confuse Izuku further as he tilted his head at her. Hibari grasp her hands together behind her back and smiled sweetly at him while eyeing the costume he was wearing. "Your costume has some attributes of a bunny, including the ears on your mask. That is what inspires me to Summon my rabbit." She then closes her eyes at him. "So thank you so much, Izuku."
Izuku stared at her while his cheeks turn a tiny shade of red as he looks down in a shy manner, feeling embarrassed at her reason and encouragement. He didn't realise he was giving her the push of confidence on their first day yesterday, and it seems to be the one where he try out the scroll that was given to him alongside Kacchan and Todoroki. As for the ears part of his mask, that was supposed to be an inspiration of his idol and hero, All Might, but the more he look at it, the more he realised it does look like rabbit ears. And for some reason, he doesn't seem to mind. He glances at Hibari slightly and shyly smiled. "Um, yo-your welcome, Uh, Hibari."
Hibari beamed happily at his grateful reply and couldn't help but giggled. This interaction hasn't gone noticed by everyone around her, mainly Asuka and Yagyu. Asuka smiled happily he was able to make a new friend and how sweet it is for Hibari to thank him, though giggled when she saw how shy he is when he was and smiled at him sweetly. As for Yagyu, she doesn't know what to think of it. On one side, she's happy Hibari has gotten along with someone she can trust, but on one side, she felt conflicted when she finds out Hibari's reason for summoning a rabbit was because of Izuku. She's not mad at the boy, far from it, and she knows it's not his fault for Hibari's inspiration, perhaps she will give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
"Izuku, Shoto, Bakugo." Kiriya's voice cut everything off as they turned and saw their Stoic Teacher giving the boys a knowing look in his eyes. "Are you three ready to show off what you can do?"
That seems to get all three of their attention as the boys face the teacher fully. Izuku places his notebook back in the pockets of his red belt. Shoto, while passive, looks determined and ready for their turn. As for Bakugo, he let out a wide and confident smirk as he cannot wait to show himself why he was the best.
"We're ready, Mister Kiriya." Izuku walks forward, with Shoto following suit along with Bakugo as they all prepared for their next instructions.
"Very well, before you can get started, I will use my Secret Ninja Art to create dummy enemies for you," Kiriya told them as he walks towards the edge of the cliff and raise his hands together to his chess. "Unlike regular dummies, those types have the ability to fight back. I don't suppose that will be a problem, will it?"
"They won't be after I'm done with them, teach," Bakugo said ferally as he lets out a challenging grin.
"It won't be a problem, Mister Kiriya." Shoto nodded alongside Izuku as they waited for their teacher to start.
Kiriya looks down at the lower grounds of the training area and uses his hands to make signs. Within seconds, a bunch of different wooden dummies started popping up from the puff of smoke. The common ones are humanoid wooden men, others are flying ball-shaped and wooden snakes. As Kiriya was about to finish up his summoning, the girls started talking among themselves.
"So what do you think they're gonna do?" Hibari said excitedly, cannot wait to see them fighting the training dummies.
"Judging from what I see. Bakugo's attire is primarily used for some kind of explosion, given the grenades, he's carrying himself with." Ikaruga deduced as she watch the boys and the suits they were wearing. "Shoto's abilities are unknown, but with Bakugo calling him 'Icy-Hot', he must have some sort of elemental abilities. And as for Izuku, he must have used both long and close-distance attacks given the large braces on his wrist and armoured shoes.
"And that's all the more reason why I'm rooting for Izuku," Katsuragi said as she stared at Izuku with great interest and smirked wickedly. "With those metal shoes and what Shoto told me of his fighting style, I can barely wait to see what he can do with those legs."
The girls sweatdrop at her comment and reason for rooting for Izuku. Asuka sighed at her upper classmate's statement and turns towards the rest of the boys, mainly at Izuku. Just like everyone else, she too can't wait to see them starting their practical combat training, and just like Kat, she too rooting for Izuku. She doesn't know why, but for some gut feeling, there is more to her new friend than what he appeared, and that thought got her to feel excited. "You can do it, Izuku."
After the dummies have been deployed, Kiriya separates his hands and turns towards the Hero-Course Boys, gesturing for them to the lower ground of the area. "Here you go. You are free to do as you see fit."
The boys nodded to him and walk towards the edge of the cliff, looking down to see training dummies wandering around and looking up to see three boys staring down at them. Izuku looks side by side to meet his friends and rivals beside them and they two look towards each two. With their face full of determination and focus, they look down again and started preparing themselves, starting with Izuku who spread his legs a little and bent them.
"One For All: Full Cowling." Izuku thought as his body suddenly glowed, bright green electricity started flowing throughout his body as his hair and his upper mask started wavering. This sudden power-up sent a surprised and shocked look from the girls, never had they felt such power when he activates his Quirk.
But they're just as surprised when they watch the two boys start preparing while activating their powers. Bakugo got into a stance while bringing up his arms, sending off multiple sparks of explosions from the palm of his hand. Shoto turns to his side and got into a stance while raising his right arm forward, only for it to be covered in frost while his left arm sends off a small puff of flame.
No one said a word, as the group that watched was too surprised by the capabilities these boys possess. After a few moments of waiting and in intense silence, Izuku was the one who go first. Jumping down from the cliffside and hopping from one boulder to another to descend down towards the dummies. And it didn't take long for Shoto and Bakugo to follow them afterwards.
"I'll start by trying out my new power." Izuku hops off the final boulder and falls headfirst towards the dummies. "One For All: The Sixth User's Quirk..."
(MHA OST: Full Gauntlet 30%. Starts Playing.)
"Smokescreen!" Izuku yelled out as he landed in the middle with the dummies with him and crouch down into a near-ball. And suddenly, a heavy cloud of purple smoke and steam sprouted from Izuku's body, engulfing every dummy within his radius.
A top on the cliff, The girls that watch look down where Izuku was and was shocked at what they saw, even Kiriya himself was surprised by his sudden power display. He was aware that Izuku has much power at his disposal so he was prepared, but that didn't stop him from being surprised at his abilities. He can't help but let out a small impressed smirk, as he cannot wait for what is more to come.
"Did-Di-did he just sprouts out smoke from his body!?" Asuka asks in shock, haven't seen anything like that before, much less from Izuku.
"I've never witnessed something so unbelievable," Ikaruga commented with wide eyes as she stared down at what Izuku had done, This is completely unexpected, never in her life had she seen something that was considered impossible, but Izuku has just done that, right there before her eyes.
They then heard fighting going on in the smoke and within seconds later, several dummies were thrown out of the thick fog and landed deeper into the forest or crashed into the rocky walls and boulders. The smoke's been cleared and they see Izuku confronting the remaining dummies running at him from the distance as the ground around him was left with severed wooden limbs and splinters.
Izuku eyes hardened as he brought up his arms and hold them to a flickering position, causing his braces to shift. He then flicks his fingers, firing off pressurised wind bullets as they hit a few of the charging dummies. Then above him was Bakugo propelling himself overhead using his Explosion and looking down at the unfortunate puppets waiting to meet his wrath.
"Have a taste of my AP Shot, and DIE!" Bakugo yelled out as he brings out his palm and fired numerous blasts at the group of wooden dummies, creating multiple explosions upon contact and sending the woodmen flying in pieces.
Another group of dummies charged in from the other side and was about to attack the two boys, only to be engulfed or impaled by the chunk of ice that appears from the ground. The remaining puppets trail the ice line and found out it was Shoto with his right foot forward with frost underneath and some part of his boot. They charge at him without a thought, but that proves to be a mistake when he waves his left hand out and fires off the wall of flames at them, engulfing them with tremendous heat as they all stop and fall down to the ground motionless.
Back at the cliffside, Kiriya and the girls stare at the sight before them, still surprised as they watch the Hero-Course students tearing down the dummies with no effort. Hibari looks on and watches with an enjoyable smile. "Wow... they're so cool!" She turns towards Yagyu beside who's had her eye widened. "Don't you agree, Yagyu"
Yagyu blinked for a second and turned towards her best friend, seeing the sweet and innocent smile Hibari is giving off. Yagyu was hesitant at first, properly because she didn't know what to say about the boys, but for the sake of Hibari, she nodded to her in silence and return her gave at them.
Ikaruga continued to watch the carnage before her and turn her gaze to her sensei. "Kiriya Sensei? Are you aware these boys have that much power?"
"Indeed, Ikaruga. I'm fully aware of what they're capable of long before they first arrive at Hanzo academy. I already know about Bakugo and Shoto's Quirks," Kiriya looks on towards the two mentioned names as Bakugo propels himself around fast and sends off a larger explosion towards the flying dummies, while Shoto gains speed by sliding with his Ice Quirk and sends the torrent of flames at the ground dummies unfortunate enough to get in his way. He then turns his sight on the green-haired boy and let out a small smile. "But Izuku's Quirk. Compare to those two, his power is different altogether."
Back to the fight, Izuku leaps into the air and spins his body until he swings his right leg creating a large wind pressure and blowing away the dummies coming his way. He lands on the ground, only for his Danger Sense to spike up and turns around to see more dummies heading his way. Wasting no time, he turns his body around and swings his leg upward, creating a powerful gust of wind towards the group, sending them higher in the air. Izuku makes a massive leap using his one leg and sends him higher above the midair dummies, Activating the Seventh User's Quirk called Float and preparing himself to finish them off.
The girls and Kiriya watch Izuku about to take action as Asuka looks forward intensely. "What's Izuku gonna do?"
"I bet he's gonna swing that massive kick to send these dummies flying!" Katsuragi guested with such excitement in her voice. She has been watching Izuku very closely and dare she say that boy is full of wonders. Not only he is a total cutie, but the way he's fighting has got her FULL attention. The way he kicks to make multiple wooden puppets away, and fires off air bullets with just the flick of his finger and a swing of his legs? Oh yes, she's going to have so much fun with that boy.
Hibari Looks at Izuku with wonder until she caught what the boy was doing, and couldn't help but point it out. "Wait, why is he raising his left arm."
She was right, Izuku was raising his left arm high and fully clenching it, before pointing it at the dummies in the air and doing something that caught them completely off guard.
"Blackwhip!" Izuku bellowed as multiple blackish-blue tendrils sprouted out of his left arm and they sprinted towards the puppets, wrapping each and every one of them until numerous tendrils formed together into a giant string ball.
"And then..." Izuku thought while bringing his right leg forward and pulling the tendrils in his hand.
The group stared at the boy in shock, with Asuka staring at him with eyes widened and her mouth slightly agape. She's too speechless to say anything like the rest of her classmates, but all she can do is thought out a single word in her head. "...Amazing..."
"SMASH!"
BOOM!
A single echoing boom was heard when Izuku thrust through the large ball he created, completely destroying it along with the dummies inside. A large strong wind spreads out from the force as Izuku looks up and brought his fist to his chest with a smile. "Yes!"
The others continue to stare at him with wonder and amazement as the boy slowly descends from the air. They then turn towards the other two boys who're just finishing off the remaining dummies, leaving nothing but sivered wooden limbs and several chunks of ice. Afterwards, they returned to the cliffside as Izuku propelled himself with the combination of his Air Force and Float and deactivate the latter and dropped to the ground landing in a crouching position, followed by Bakugo while Shoto creates an ice pillar to get to the cliff.
(MHA OST: Full Gauntlet 30%. Stops Playing.)
They started walking towards the group who were staring at them with amazement, bewilderment and awe, while Kiriya walks up to them and greeted them with a proud and impressed smile. "Well done, boys. That was herodously outstanding."
"Thank you, Mister Kiriya," Shoto replied as he along with Izuku bowed their heads towards the teacher.
"The hell's with you and word callings, huh!?" Bakugo barked at him, already pissed off with him and his way of vocabulary.
Izuku chuckled nervously at his childhood friend's temper while Shoto sighed. He then saw Asuka walking towards them and he can tell she was completely blown away by what he and his friends accomplished. "Wow... I-I don't know what to say, that was incredible."
Her blown-away voice alone was more than enough to make the One For All User embarrassed as he looked down and smiled sheepishly. "Oh! I-it's nothing, really."
"Oh, it really is something, Izuku~"
Izuku felt the chill going up from his spin and suddenly went stiff when he feel a single arm wrapped around his shoulders tenderly. He can tell by the voice alone it was Katsuragi that got a hold of him, feeling his left side pressed against her own side, making her uncomfortably close to him. Izuku blushed deep crimson at her sudden act, as Asuka looked nearly shocked while Shoto was surprised by her sudden appearance.
"I've seen how you dealt with those wooden goons with those awesome kicks you did. And colour me surprised when you pulled all those different superpowers." Katsuragi complimented him with a seductive voice as she brings her face closer to his ear and started to rub his ripped belly. "And with how you fire off those powerful wind attacks. Mmmmm~ Mama like~"
Izuku's head was starting to feel dizzy as he can literally hear the ringing sound coming from his ears as if he was a human kettle. He's completely speechless and he doesn't know what to do in this situation. Thankfully, his saviour comes over and pulls him away from her. He stiffly turns his head over and saw Ikaruga standing beside him while sending the Blonde perv a disapproving stare.
"Katsuragi, that was extremely uncalled for! You need to realise that this is no way to treat a new classmate." Ikaruga Scolded her, sounding angry at her fellow third-year's shenanigans.
"Oh, come on Ikaruga. All I was doing is congratulating him." Katsuragi whined, acting like she didn't do anything wrong.
"You can congratulate him as any normal people do, instead of continuing your diabolical harassment." The Class Representative retorted sternly as she looks at Izuku worryingly while Asuka rushes towards him with Shoto behind.
"Izuku, are you okay!?" Asuka asked him in great concern as she took a step forward, looking at him with worry in her eyes while Shoto walked beside him, holding his back for comfort.
"I-I-I-'m-I'm O-Okay..." Izuku stuttered like a madman, still blushing like a storm while shaking a little, but it's seems he was recovering, albeit slowly.
"He should be feeling better soon, so we should give Midoriya some time to recover," Shoto suggests as he looked at his best friend with a sympathetic look while patting his back for comfort. Asuka doesn't want to leave his side after what happened to him so she's staying where she needs to be. Ikaruga can see where Shoto is coming from so she'll respectfully give Izuku some space so he'll recover, but she's close enough just to protect him from Katsuragi's advancement. Everyone saw this and couldn't help but feel really sorry for him, except for Bakugo who scoffed at the Nerd's patheticness.
Kiriya sighed, feeling apologetic for his perverted student's antics before he clapped his hands gaining everyone's except Izuku's attention. "Alright, I think that's enough for today. Let's head back to the school and change back into our uniforms. And feel free to use the showers if you have to, understood?"
"Yes, sir!"
Izuku somewhat got out of his senses as he felt a hand holding his right scarred wrist. He looks up and saw Asuka smiling at him with a mix of worry and care. "Let's head back, okay?"
"O-Okay." Izuku nodded with a shaky smile as Asuka leads him with the others while using her Shinobi Transformation technique to change back to her school uniforms along with her Shinobi classmates. Izuku held his hand close to his chest and his costume turns into a scroll, replacing it with his school uniform without a blazer, just like Kacchan and Todoroki when they did the same thing. He places it in his trousers pocket and later stared at his left hand, thinking back to what he did when he first use his new Quirk.
"This is the first time I used Smokescreen." Izuku thought as he clenched it and expand it, while his expression looked unsure. "Did I do it right?"
"I suppose you did well, Midoriya." A ghostly male voice was heard when he felt someone patting his hand on his shoulders. He turns left and right until found out the source, revealing the purple vintage of the Sixth User of One For All, En. "You've used Smokescreen to blind those wooden dummies so they couldn't have the chance to recover. That's a clever way of using it I suppose."
"However, you're relying on One For All too much. You're making avoidable accidents under its influence. You won't be making those mistakes the other eight generations made. You've got the biggest burden to bear given that you're the latest generation." En lectured him before patting his shoulders and looking at him a little cheerfully. "Try to loosen your shoulders. Don't let the power use your body, let the body use the power instead. Think of them as more of your tools. You using those tools will get you into the right mindset."
Izuku looks at him for a second and nodded to him in understanding. "Yes sir."
"Well, I suppose I should leave you to it." En lets go of his shoulder and were about to fade away. "Oh, and good luck with the blonde chick, Midoriya."
"Huh." Izuku stared off blankly as the sixth vintage suddenly fades out, leaving him confused about what the previous Smokescreen user said.
"Is something wrong, Izuku?" He turned and saw Asuka staring behind him with a raised eyebrow and tilted head, looking a little concerned.
The last holder of One For All smiled kindly and shook his head. "Oh no, nothing's wrong." He then noticed she was still holding his wrist and blushed slightly, gently pulling it out while looking at her warmly.
Asuka smiled back, happy that Izuku is now fully okay as she now walking beside him while following the group to the academy. Unknown to them, they've been observed by an elderly figure standing silently behind the tree. He let out an impressive smile as he watches the group leave the forest before he turned around and disappeared into the darkness.
(Sometime Later: The Ninja Room.)
"Aw." Hibari looked at the food counter in sadness as she and the others gathered up in front of it. "We barely have any food left."
After returning from the forest training site, Shinobi and Hero-Course students were relaxing in the Ninja Room during their lunch break. Even some took the shower such as Asuka, Izuku, Ikaruga and Shoto to clean themselves up for the rest of the day. When they headed to the counter to have something to eat, they find themselves with very little food in stored trays.
(MHA OST: U.A Corridors. Starts Playing.)
"That's very unfortunate. We should have plenty more than we could have." Ikaruga said with disappointment in her voice.
"If any of you were responsible for rationing the foods, then you did a shitty job at it," Bakugo remarked from the centre of the room where the tables at, sitting on the floor with his legs crossed while reading a book in his hand.
Shoto looked at the counter for a second before looking towards the Class Rep. "Does something like this happened before?"
"Not usually. This is one of the rare times we're low on food." Ikaruga answered while she stared at the counter while holding her chin in thought. "Normally, someone from the Good Shinobi came here regularly a few times a week. Perhaps something happened that got them to forget their routings."
"Do any of you know who comes here for the counter?" Izuku asks the Shinobi girls in the room with a curious look.
"No, but we do know Kiriya Sensei does. He told us we'll be meeting him soon four days before you and your friends joined us." Yagyu responded, sitting on the stool and laying her back and arms on the counter.
Asuka looks at the counter with a thoughtful expression, feeling a sense of familiarity as she hummed. "Something about the food he makes is familiar somehow, but I can't put my finger on it."
"Oh~" She heard a cheeky voice behind her and before she knew it, she was tackled from her back and felt the pair of hands grabbing her bouncy betties, causing her to scream in fright as Katsuragi continued fondling. "Care to tell us, Asuka!"
"Kat! Stop!" Asuka cried out trying to free herself but to no avail. This sudden action causes the unfortunate flustered Izuku to scream in horror at the sight of seeing Katsuragi's Harassment first-hand. He's not the only one as Shoto and Bakugo who heard the cries and screams looked on with surprise and disturb and were quick to look away, except Izuku who was too shocked to move.
"Ka-Katsuragi, what are you doing!? Stop it!" Izuku cried out for the blonde kicker to stop, trying his utmost best not to look where her hands were grabbing and focusing on their faces. Katsuragi seems to stop, but unfortunately has her eyes set on him.
"Huh, what with this 'Katsuragi'? You should call me Kat." An idea popped into Katsuragi's head as her smirk got bigger as she moves poor Asuka in front of him and motions her large breast with her hands, causing the brunette girl to squeal. "Oh, do you want to have little fun too, Izuku~?"
Izuku's face turns deep crimson once again as he took a step back in fright, speaking in a stuttering mess while closing his eyes. "I-I- Uh-I-Th-that's not-uh-"
He eventually heard someone stepping in front of him and opened his eyes, only to see Ikaruga stepping in once again as she looks at Katsuragi sternly and strictly. "Katsuragi, let go of her right now. I can't let you act this way now that we have boys among us!"
"Ugh, fine. Party Pooper." Katsuragi whined in defeat as she let the flustered ponytailed girl out of her grip, but not before winking at the green-haired boy his way. Izuku, who was still flustered from what just transpired, looked at Asuka in worry and went up to her to see if she was okay. Asuka didn't say a word to him as she couldn't make eye contact with him, feeling utterly embarrassed to have Izuku witness all of that.
Ikaruga looks towards the two, relieved that the issue is now sorted, although not without consequences, and sends a warning glare at the blonde perv who seemed to smile shamelessly before turning her attention towards the others in the room. "Right, since We don't have enough food for us to eat. It will be my duty as Class Representative to go out to buy some necessary ingredients for each of us. Does any of you have favourite preferences?"
"Fu-Futomaki Rolls." Asuka was the first to speak although a little flustered.
"Um, mine's Katsudon," Izuku spoke with the same tone as the girl next to him.
"Ramen," Katsuragi said cheekily.
"Soba is my favourite." Shoto was next when he walked past the Class Rep and went up to the two to see if they were alright.
"Dried Squid," Yagyu spoke, looking a little sympathetic towards the two, even though she chose not to get involved in their problems with Katsuragi.
"Sweats, Please!" Hibari shouts out happily.
Ikaruga turns towards Bakugo who is busy reading the book in his hand as he felt everyone looking at the blonde boy. Feeling the sense of stare annoyed him, he sighed aloud and replied begrudgingly. "I don't care. As long as it has spice in them."
Ikaruga nodded at her classmate's decision and went to the single desk and grab the piece of paper and a pen, writing down everyone's favourite delicacies until she finally finished. Afterwards, she placed the paper listing ingredients in her pocket and was about to head out. But she then stops and thinks about what she gonna get for her classmates. It would be a little challenging to bring all of the necessary ingredients back to the Ninja Room, so she'll need a little extra help with the shopping. She turns to others in the room and found them busy among themselves, except for one in the centre.
Seeing the blonde delinquent sitting by the table doing nothing other than reading, it feels like it was her duty as the Class Rep to get him to do some activities, perhaps learning some form of discipline along the way. She took a few steps towards Bakugo and calls out to him.
"Bakugo." The blonde boy turns his attention uncaringly towards Ikaruga as she stares down at him. "I require your assistance in helping me with the shopping."
Bakugo stares at her for a couple of seconds until his blank stare turns into outrageous anger. "WHAT!? WHY ME!?"
"Because I won't be able to carry tons of shopping on my own, and I wasn't asking either," Ikaruga replied causing Bakugo to seeth in frustration and gnarl through his teeth.
"As if I'm going through this bullshit alone..." Bakugo growled as he firmly place the book on the table, stands up from the floor and march up towards Deku and Todoroki.
Izuku was just recovered from his embarrassed face when he was suddenly grabbed by the back collar of his shirt and dragged backwards, along with Shoto. He turns his head over his shoulders and saw a pissed-off Bakugo dragging him and his friend. "Ka-Kacchan!?"
"What are you doing?" Shoto asks him as he was dragged by Bakugo pulling his shirt as he and Midoriya are being led forcibly to the opened exit door.
"What do you think I'm doing, Half-and-Half bastard! If I'm gonna be treated like a shitty errand boy, then you and Deku gonna have to suffer with me!" Bakugo barked as he's dragging them through the door and out of the Ninja Room, all while the girls blinked at the direction of what transpired.
Ikaruga looks down and sighed, probably having a small sense of feeling Bakugo would resort to something like this, yet she didn't do anything to stop it. But she suppose there was nothing she can do about it and have the boys help her with the shopping. She turns towards the other and bows her head farewell before heading through the door, catching up to the boys ahead of her.
(MHA OST: U.A Corridors. Stops Playing.)
(Asakusa District)
The streets of the district of Tokyo are lively and busy. Tons of civilians and people walk around through the pathway to go on their daily route and cars pass through the road. Some shops are open and filled with the same people buying what they have in store for them, chatting among themselves along the way for different conversations.
Walking into the station shops are four students of Hanzo Academy, three Hero-Course Students and one Shinobi-In Training. Izuku looked around and saw a lot of shops open in the station and couldn't help but be surprised. "There sure are a lot of shops around here. But, where should we go first?"
"We should start by looking through the food stores," Shoto suggests before looking around and seeing a lot of people walking in and out of the shops. "But with so many people here, it might be harder to find what we're looking for."
Ikaruga hummed in thought as she placed her thumb on her chin. "Yes, this might be a problem." She thinks a little hard about the best course of action until she got in the idea of what to do. "How do you boys feel about splitting up to find the necessary ingredients?"
"Better than hanging around with you idiots," Bakugo remarked, already agitated and pissed off the whole way through this little trip.
"I have no problem splitting up, but there's just one problem," Izuku said while rubbing the back of his head, feeling a little embarrassed. "I haven't been in this part of the district, so it might be a little difficult for me to find stuff that we need."
"That's right. You did say you had barely been to Tokyo." Shoto remembered as Izuku nodded, he knows about him saying he rarely visited the capital city of Japan.
Ikaruga nodded in understanding, so she give him a smile and said. "Then why don't you come with me so I can show you around, that way you'll be more familiar towards the place."
"You sure?" Izuku asked her, not wanting to give her trouble for him, but she nodded, telling him it was alright. "If it's no problem, then I'll accept."
The Class-Rep smiled kindly at him before addressing the boys. "Alright. We'll split up and search for food for us and our classmates. So I'll give each of you what you want and what you need to get for the class. Is that understood?"
"Just give us the damn recipe so we can get this crap over with." Bakugo rudely replied as he tapped his foot impatiently, earning a sweat drop from the boys and a disapproving frown from Ikaruga.
Ikaruga sighed before taking out the sheet of paper and ripping it carefully out into three pieces. She then gives the two to Shoto and Bakugo and keeps one for her and Izuku to use. "Alright. Once all of us have what we need, we'll return back here. So please don't take too long."
"Understood." Shoto nodded while Bakugo scoffed as they both started taking off in different directions.
Izuku waves them farewell before he and Ikaruga started taking off together to the part of the station. As they walked, Ikaruga looked at Izuku beside her and couldn't help but stares at the tie he wore that was tugged short. She wondered if he didn't have any instructions on how to tie. If so then she would be happy to give him some tips.
"Izuku, do you mind if I ask you a question?" The green-haired boy turned to her and nodded to her with a hum. "I hope this doesn't come across as rude, but do you know how to do your tie?"
Izuku blinked for a second and looked down at his short tie, he then let out an embarrassed chuckle. "Oh, um, I only know some part of it when I was about to go on my first day of high school. My mom taught me how to tie, but every time I do it always goes like this."
"I see, that's unfortunate," Ikaruga said as she feel bad for the boy beside her for having a predicament, so she felt the need to help him as she stops in front of him which got the boy surprised and grab the small tie on his collar. "Here, let me help you with this."
"Re-really? Bu-but, you do-don't have to, I-Ikaruga." Izuku blushed red as he watch her untying his tie and how little close she is, which makes him stutter with words.
"Maybe, but you said you have trouble tying your tie since your first day." She told him just when she completely untied his tie. "So as Class Representative, it is my sworn duty to help out those with struggles."
"She sure sounds a lot like Iida." Izuku thought, feeling the similarities between the girl in front of him and one of his first best friends in high school. Both are Class Reps, both take things a little too seriously, and both want to help out those in need. This got him to look down with a smile, but upon that, he saw his chest at least one inch away from touching her... large assets. Immediately, his face was painted red and turned his head up to the side, not daring to look any further.
"Izuku." The boy in question blinked and looked towards her and saw a frowning apologetic expression on her face. "I would like to apologize on behalf of Katsuragi for her constant harassment towards you."
Izuku was surprised by her statement and how sincere she was about the situation so he wave his hand out and shook his head. "Yo-you don't have to apologise, Ikaruga. There's nothing to be sorry about, really."
"You may have a point, but it doesn't excuse Katsuragi for continuing her indecent habits. That kind of behaviour is unacceptable." Ikaruga responded while fixing up his tie. "And I know it's not fair for you to be on the receiving end of it."
"I-Ikaruga, really, I'm fine. I know you're concerned about our safety, but there's nothing to be worried about." Izuku tries a reassured her as she looked up and raise a worrisome eyebrow. "I-I mean, you always stop her from going too far with her, um, habits, even I tried to stop her before we left." He then smiled sweetly with his eyes closed. "You're a kind, earnest and hard-working person, and that's what makes you our Class Rep."
His statement surprised Ikaruga as she stared at him for a moment before closing her eyes and smiling gratefully. She then tugged up his now-fixed tie to his collar and straighten it before letting go of it. "Thank you for your words, Izuku." She took a step back and look at him. "And if Katsuragi becomes too troubling for you, please don't hesitate to seek my aid."
"I-I will, Thank you." Izuku smiled back with a small pint of pink on his freckled cheeks, before starting to walk forward. "Um, let's start getting things for class."
"Right." Ikaruga nodded with a smile and walk alongside him, heading off to the shops to buy their share of the necessary food of choice.
(With Bakugo.)
"Stupid Strict Girl, who the hell does she think she is, huh? I swear if she keeps telling me what to do, she's gonna be dead meat." Bakugo growled and muttered to himself, still fuming as he walks around with a pissed-off look on his face with multiple comical tick marks appearing above his head, along with holding the bag which has some food.
It's been several minutes since he separated from Deku, Todoroki and Strict Girl and already he got he was forced into doing shitty demands from the paper. He looks inside the bag and saw what he bought, it was some ramen that Blonde Molester wants. He scoffed at the sight of it before turning his gaze away, he doesn't know what kind she wants, so he went and buy a few ramens with different flavours. And if she doesn't like them then too bad, she doesn't say what kind she wants. He is still mad about this whole thing, but at least he got The Damn Nerd and Icy-Hot to do the dirty work and do this alone without anyone else with him, at least there are some benefits.
Now all he has to do is get the things he wanted, which are anything that has spice in them. He doesn't give a shit what kind of food has spice in them, as long it's good and doesn't waste his time. Luckily, in this new world, the food here is the same as in his own world, the difference is that there is some grub that is new to him, so he has to be careful what he's buying. They can call him paranoid if they want, he doesn't care what they think, but with all this ninja crap going on in this new world, he can never be too cautious.
As he continued walking down the way he was going, he hears some people talking among themselves Bakugo doesn't seem to care, but one caught his attention as one spoke out. "Hey, have you heard what's going on lately?"
"You mean the rumours of thugs and delinquents are causing trouble in Asakusa? Yeah, I've heard it too."
"Now that you mention it. Those punks only pop up in allies sometimes on days and mostly at night."
"Right. So if anything, until this mess has been dealt with, we'll stay away from those places from now on."
"Way ahead of you, pal. I don't want to get beaten to a pulp by those thugs."
Bakugo glanced at them as they finished their conversation before turning his gaze away and walking away, all while in deep thought. "So these weak-ass thugs causing a ruckus to these extras, huh? Well, if they decided to pick a fight with me, they're gonna be so-"
He was so deep in his head he didn't notice he was being bumped into someone, causing him to take a step back and snapped his head towards the one responsible. He saw a young woman in some sort of yellowish-brown school uniform but rugged and has blue shoulder-length hair.
"Whoa. Sorry about that. Didn't mean to bump into you." The women apologise as she bowed his head, with both hands behind her back. She looks back up and saw Bakugo Looking at her evenly as if knowing what was wrong when she collided with him. With her right arm still behind her back, she waved at him and was about to walk past him. "Well, I shouldn't trouble you further, later."
Just as she walked right past him, her right arm was suddenly grasped which caused her to stop walking. She turned around and look at Bakugo who didn't move as his hand kept holding her right arm, which holds a black wallet with a black skull on it. This caused her to look very nervous, knowing full well she was caught red-handed.
"You better give me back my wallet right now." He growled as he turned his head to the side and looks back at her with a murderous look on his face. "If you know what's good for you."
The mugger was now sweating in fear as she stares back into his red eyes, the eyes that promised her great pain if she doesn't do what he asked. She shakingly moved her right hand to hold the boy's wallet to him. "H-H-here. Ta-take it back."
Bakugo snatched it instantly and the mugger ran off without a second thought, like a coward. He scoffed as he watches her running away before he placed his wallet back in his pocket and couldn't help but comment. "Idiot."
"Well, well. You sure gave her one hell of an impression."
A feminine, tomboyish voice called out to him along with a clapping sound as he turned around and saw who it was. Standing before him at his side with a girl about around his age, with tan skin, dark brown long hair tied in a ponytail with a white ribbon that reaches down her thighs and green eyes. She wears a black school-like uniform with a sailor-like shirt and a tie with red outlines on it that don't cover her belly, a black skirt with red outlines on the edge, white winter socks and light brown shoes.
The tan girl took a couple of steps towards him and lets off an impressive smirk. "To be honest, if you hadn't caught her trying to steal your cash, I would've helped you get it back. Guess there's no need."
Bakugo stares at her for a moment before narrowing his eyes in suspicion. "Is that a fact, huh?"
"Most definitely." The girl nodded as she walked closer to him. "After all, we fellow students in different high schools gotta watch each other backs, especially with what's going on as of late." She then holds her hand out, showing a sign of friendship and trust. "Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you. I hope you don't mind-"
Instead of giving her a handshake and cutting her off, he swatted her hand away. "Stop pretending." He then side-glances her with an even stare. "What you're saying doesn't match the look in your eyes."
The girl blinked at him and her face slightly shifted, almost as if she was surprised by what he said. "Did he... see through my facade?"
Bakugo scoffed before turning his gaze away. "If you're done wasting your time, then you better get a move on. I got some shitty matters to attend to." He then walks off leaving the tan girl behind.
Said the tan girl staring at him as he walks off, but shakes her head and decided to go after him. She jog up to him and was now walking beside him with a small smile. "Hey now, I think we got on the wrong foot. I didn't mean to upset you or anything." She placed her hand above her chest. "Let me introduce myself. My name is Homura. And you are..."
Bakugo frowned as he glanced at the girl now known as Homura. He knows full well there's something amiss with her being here, and he knows she's not gonna leave and that pissed him off. Reluctantly, he gave out a scoffing scowl and says his last name, refusing to give her his first name. "Bakugo."
"Bakugo, huh? Cool name, I dig it." Homura compliment him as she smiles, she glanced at the bag he was holding before looking at him again. "So you said you're finishing some matters, Right? Is it shopping related?"
"What do you think?" Bakugo retorted rudely at her. "I've done my share, I'm just getting myself to eat."
"Oh? What is it that you like?" Homura looked at him curiously.
The blonde boy was now starting to get agitated by this girl's constant questioning as his eyes and mouth started twitching. Hoping to have her shut up, he replied. "Anything that has spice in them. I don't care which one."
"Hmm. Anything that has spice huh?" Homura pondered as she tapped her chin with her pointy finger. She then got the idea judging from the expression she was having and tap his shoulders before walking ahead. "I know where you can get them. Follow me."
"Don't tell me what to do," Bakugo muttered as he followed Homura in the direction she was going, all while giving her a suspicious glare. "There's something off about that Homura girl. And I'm planning to find out."
(With Shoto.)
In part of the shopping district, Shoto entered one of the markets where he thought he could find what he needs. He looks around from side by side and saw a small basket near the front entrance. He picks it up from the handle and looks towards the several aisles with people looking over the shelves, getting what they need and purchasing from the retailer.
Shoto grab something from his pocket and got out a piece of paper Ikaruga gave him and look at the list on it. He reads the list and nodded before placing it back where he got it from. "Alright. All I need to find is some dried squid for Yagyu and soba. I'll start by getting soba first, and see if I have luck with finding dried squid."
He walks towards the aisles and checks for signs of the possible ingredients he needs for himself and Yagyu. Sobas are ones he thinks he can find easily if you look for the right aisle, but he knows dried squid could be somewhere either outside or in the butchers' markets. He couldn't find one during his walk to the mark, but hopefully, after getting what he came for here, he can start searching for the squids.
And he also remembered when he walked toward the market, he did overhear some rumours from the bystanders he passed by. Saying something about street thugs and muggers causing trouble for the people here for almost a week. If that was true, then he needs to be cautious about the situation and be ready if he and possibly Midoriya and Bakugo have no choice but to face these thugs.
And speaking about Midoriya, His mind suddenly shifted to what he saw his best friend do when they were at the forest training ground. How Midoriya sprouted out purple thick smoke from his body to temporarily blind the wooden dummies before going for a strike. He remembers he explained his powers to Mister Kiriya and Mister Hanzo along with Bakugo and himself when they first entered their dorm. When Izuku his powers called One For All to him during their time in the hospital, he was generally surprised about how he used to be Quirkless until he was given such powers by All Might. Along with how he's now the last wielder of such power and that six Quirks living inside him, including spiritual vintages of the previous users. At first, when he and Bakugo were told about what happened to the Fourth user and how he died, he was very concerned while the blonde boy was enraged, probably that's his own way of being worried. However, their worries vanished when Izuku said that it won't happen to him since he was born Quirkless, just like All Might which makes it all the more surprising.
But it is also more curious that Midoriya and All Might are more similar in terms of origins. Both were born Quirkless, both been given said power, and both have super strength until Midoriya gains different powers from the other users. To be perfectly honest, If Midoriya or Bakugo haven't told him about One For All, he would still suspect the Ninth is All Might's secret love child. After all, he is a theorist, but nobody needs to know that.
And once they go back to their own world and One For All is still kept in the dark, he will keep the power a secret for Midoriya, for he is his first friend since U.A High.
After looking through the few aisles, he managed to find the packet of soba noodles and grabbed a few of them and put them in the basket. Nodding to himself, he was about to walk out of the aisle the purchase them until he stopped when he heard someone.
"I'm sorry, but I would like to ask you to leave me alone."
A cold, yet calm feminine voice spoke out which caused him to look towards the source, and what he saw appeared to be troubling. He saw a guy dressed in a biker outfit, looking down smugly at someone who appears to be a girl in a school uniform. He couldn't see her face due to the biker blocking his sight, but he can tell by her voice alone that this guy is troubling her and he will not leave her alone. Shoto narrowed his eyes at the biker, didn't like how the guy invaded her personal space when he was told not to bother her. And as the Pro-Hero-In-Training, it's his job to intervene when someone is in trouble. He walks towards the guy as the biker is about to reply.
"Oh come on, don't be like." The biker guy said arrogantly as he was about to put his arm around her. "I was only just-"
He stopped mid-sentence and mid-way when he felt someone gripping his shoulder tensely. He looked over the gripped shoulder and saw Shoto staring at him coldly. The girl, who the punk was hitting on, blinked in surprise and looked at the shoulder and saw it was gripped, but couldn't look who was behind him since he was in the way.
"Excuse me. When someone tells you to leave them alone, you leave them alone instead of pestering further." Shoto said in a cold, yet calming voice while giving him his icy stare.
The biker guy scowled at the boy behind him while trying to shrug off the slight pain he was feeling from the shoulder the boy was holding. "Oh yeah? And just who do you think you are-"
He was cut off when the grip on his shoulder tightened and was causing him to grunt in pain. Shoto's eye's hardened at his response and replied. "Someone who respects people's wishes, as you should be doing right now."
The girl in front of the biker guy couldn't help but be surprised by how someone behind him was putting him in his place. He look at his shoulders and saw the hand gripping him hard, but that's not what got her attention. She also saw something coming out of the gap between his fingers and on the biker's jacket. She can barely see it, but it appears it was a small tint of... frost?
The biker, who was too busy to notice something was off, couldn't take it anymore and started giving up. "O-Okay, okay! I get it, I'll leave her alone! Now please let go!"
Shoto does what he was told and lets go of his shoulder as the biker grunts and hold his shoulder. He turns around and gave the two-coloured-haired boy before setting off his way and out of the aisle, possibly making his way towards the exit of the market. Shoto stares off towards where the punk was gone and couldn't help but sighed in relief while closing his eyes. He was worried he was going to get his hands dirty as he tried his best to avoid any violence, but the concerns he had is now diminished as he successfully defused the situation and the girl is now safe.
He opened his eyes and turned his head towards the girl he saved. "Are you okay?"
Upon turning his gaze at her, he eventually got a good look at the girl's appearance. She is at least three inches shorter than him with pale skin, purple-ish dark grey shoulder-length hair with a broad white ribbon placed on the back of her head. She wears what appears to be a school uniform with a grey jacket-like blazer, a black ribbon-like tie, a grey skirt, black tights and grey shoes.
The girl in question blinked for a second after she stares off in his direction and smiled gracefully before bowing her head. "I am, thanks to you." She then looks up at him. "I'm grateful you're able to send that delinquent away. I feared things would've gone differently if it weren't for you."
"Well, I'm glad it ended in a peaceful solution," Shoto replied, nodding to her as he sent off a small smile. "Nothing's good when it comes to violence."
"So I've been told." The girl looked down and frowned a little, almost as if she was in deep thought.
Shoto looked at her with a tilted head, wondering what she was thinking, but wouldn't want to pry so he nodded to her and decide to take his leave. "At least you're safe now, that's all it matters."
"Excuse me." Shoto stopped and looked back only to see her take a step forward toward him while placing her hand on her chest. "Apologies for stopping you, but may I ask your name?"
Shoto blinked at her question but doesn't see any trouble since he was the one who got her out of her problems. He stands in front of her and bowed his head to her. "Shoto. Shoto Todoroki."
The girl smiled and bows her head in return. "Nice to meet you, Shoto. My name is Yumi." She stands up straight and looks at the boy in front of her. "If it isn't any trouble, can I ask what you were doing before you helped me?"
The Ice-Fire Quirk user tilted his head in confusion, wondering why she would want to know what he's been doing. But since he stopped that biker from continuing his advancement towards Yumi, he had a feeling she would be grateful if she was asking him some questions. Whatever the case, he replied. "I was helping my friends with getting some food for my classmates. May I ask why?"
"I was wondering if you don't mind me assisting you with some groceries you aren't able to find," Yumi responded kindly, grabbing the handle of the basket with both her hands and holding it in front of her legs.
Shoto was surprised by her suggestion and her willingness to help, but he doesn't want to involve her in something simple as shopping and simply shook his head. "I appreciate the offer, but I don't want to trouble you if you already got plans."
Yumi let out a small warm smile and assured him. "I already have what I need for my own classmates. And you did get me out of my predicament, it's only fair if I return the favour."
Shoto looks at her and can tell Yumi really meant it when she said she wanted to help him with the shopping. Seeing this as no harm, he nodded to her. "Alright. If it's no trouble, then I wouldn't mind you helping, Yumi."
"Thank you, Shoto." Yumi bowed gratefully as they both walked towards the retailer to purchase what they got.
As Shoto was the first the buy the soba he got, Yumi was looking at the double-coloured-haired boy with a puzzling and intrigued gaze. She remembered how he stopped that biker from his advancements and she was very grateful for what he did, but that's not what got her attention. Helping him is part of the reason why she wishes to assist him with his shopping, but her other reason is how he dealt with that delinquent, as well as his school uniform which peak her interest.
"His uniform, they're from Hanzo Academy, the school named after my grandfather's rival." Yumi's face shifted to sadness for a few seconds before she shook her head and returned her gaze back to Shoto. "And after what I saw, I must wonder, is he also a Shinobi?"
(With Bakugo.)
After that little incident with the attempted mugging, Bakugo continued his way with the shopping along with a suspicious girl named Homura. He was forced to follow her to the place where she thinks he can buy some spice for him to have and eventually it paid off. Though the one she picked was all meat related, must be a meat-lover which could explain why she keep suggesting the types of meat with spice on them, despite at the time he was pissed off by her constant picking. Eventually, after a short while, he was able to get what he thinks has a strong flavour and purchased it before Homura could suggest any more.
The two finally got out of the store with Bakugo holding both bags in each hand while Homura was walking beside him with a pleasing grin. "Well, that was quite fun." She turned her gaze to the blonde boy. "You sure you don't want to have more?"
"For the last time, Meat Lover, I don't need more!" Bakugo barked at her, sending a hardened glare at her who looks like she was about to snicker.
"Wow, 'Meat Lover'?" Homura snorted, trying her best not to laugh. "Is that how you thanked someone? Giving off insults to people?"
"I can thank anyone whatever the hell I want!" He barked once again, growling at the sight of the girl snickering at him before turning his head away from her and clicking his tongue.
Homura chuckled a bit while calming down and took a few breaths before facing Bakugo, who refuses to look at her. "Well, all jokes aside, at least you got what you needed, Right?"
He didn't say anything for a moment until he turned his gaze to her, who looks at him with a raised eyebrow. During their time in the store for spicy grub, he had been watching her when she's been picking out stuff as if she was some tour guide, despite how annoying it was. It was clear as day she has some ulterior motives and meeting her was no coincidence. He had been on edge around her and was well-prepared if she tries to do anything. And if that happens, well, she'll be blown to smithereens if she tries to ambush him. However, since she hasn't tried anything, yet, and has all that he needs for himself and the Molester, he decides to let this slide for once and take his leave for good.
Bakugo stares at her for a good few seconds before turning his head forward with a huff and beginning the walk forward. "I'll be taking my leave now. And don't even dare think about following me, you hear?"
"Wouldn't dream of it, Bakugo. Oh, make sure you eat plenty of that meat! Trust me, you'll never be more satisfied!" Homura waved to him who scoffed in response before both she and Bakugo started heading their separate ways.
Just when she was walking on the pathway, she let out a dark smirk while letting off a long sigh. "I was hoping I'll be able to meet the granddaughter of the Legendary Shinobi Hanzo, but I suppose having rumours about thugs was not enough to get her out of the open. Although... It wasn't a complete waste of time."
Her smirk widened when she thought about that Blonde boy she was with. Meeting him was not part of her plan, but there was something about him that got her interested. Seeing him wearing a Hanzo Academy uniform is part of the reason for interacting with him, but that's not the only reason why. She saw how he was able to catch that mugger and gave her one hell of a fright that she runs away like a coward. And she was off guard when he almost caught her in the act, luckily she was quick to get a hold of herself and tried to improvise which seems to work. Talking to him has put her in a good mood, finding it funny the way he's talking and how he responds to her. Not to mention being able to pick out meat with spices on them to see which he would prefer, and honestly, she could go about it all day despite the orders she was given.
She shifted left towards the ally and stopped before looking over the other side of the pathway where the blonde boy took off. "I hope we meet again, Bakugo."
(With Shoto.)
After exiting the market, Shoto and Yumi journeyed somewhere out of the district to find a place where they could find some dried squid. Luckily Yumi knows her way in Asakusa and they have managed to find a stall of numerous squids. After they buy what they're looking for, they headed back to where Shoto have to meet with his classmates and friends.
They are just about to enter the shopping district when Shoto turn his head towards Yumi, giving her a small, yet kind smile. "Thank you for your help, Yumi. I appreciated."
"You're most welcome, Shoto. I only wish to return the favour." Yumi replied kindly as they entered the district shopping centre.
Shoto sends a glance at the big bag filled with groceries inside and looks back at her with a small hint of concern. "Are you sure you wanted to walk me back? Won't your classmates be waiting long?"
"You don't need to worry. The last time I saw them, they were doing some basic instructions." Yumi assured him, then later looks down with a sigh of disappointment and expectation as they stopped in the middle of the district centre. "But knowing them, they most likely ran off to their own matters instead. Thankfully, a friend of mine will be there to keep them in check... but I fear she's not in the mood for it now."
Shoto saw a sudden shift in her facial expression, her disappointment has turned into sadness and grief and can't help but tilt his head. "Did something happen?"
Yumi was silent when he asked that question, still looking down with sadness. However, she was able to muster up and responded. "I do not wish to trouble you with my problems, but what I can tell you is we're having a rough time lately. And I don't know how long it will last when the time comes."
Shoto was looking at her with sympathy and can't help but feel sorry for her. He doesn't know what was going on, nor does he wish to make her tell him, but it was clear there was something that was troubling her and likely her fellow classmates. He fears that if he continues to question her any further and overstep his boundaries, he will make her feel uncomfortable.
However, he doesn't want her to feel depressed and wishes to help however he can, just like Midoriya when he helped him overcome his resentment of his fire Quirk. After all, if someone going to be moved by words, they have to be pretty powerful, and accompanied by actions."I will not pry into what you're going through, but if you wish to talk about it, I will be willing to listen and see if I can help in any way I can."
Yumi blinked at his statement and shift her gaze at him with a surprised stare. She never expects this boy to be so considerate and respectful of her own feelings and was willing to hear her out and help if she wishes to talk about it. She smiled gratefully at him. "Thank you, Shoto."
Shoto let out a small smile and nodded to her in return. He was relieved he was able to cheer up Yumi in the sense.
"Todoroki! Over hear!"
Shoto blinked at the familiar voice calling out to him as he shift his head and saw his best friend Midoriya carrying a bag in his left hand and the same goes for Ikaruga with her right hand, both looked at him while Izuku smiled with a wave.
"It's them," Shoto said as he turns towards Yumi and lowered his head. "I should get going. It was nice meeting you, Yumi."
"As do I, Shoto." Yumi lowers her head in return and looked up at him with a graceful smile. "I wish you farewell. I hope our paths cross again."
"Me too. Farewell." Shoto then walks over to Midoriya and Ikaruga while Yumi walks the other way. Upon walking, Yumi looked over her left shoulder where she could see Shoto walking towards his fellow classmates and couldn't help but let out a warm smile before heading off her way.
Shoto went over to where Izuku and Ikaruga were and stopped as he greet them. "Midoriya, Ikaruga. You two got what you need?"
Izuku hummed with a smile as he brought up a bag filled with the necessary ingredients. "I've managed to get what I need for Katsudon and Futomaki Rolls for Asuka. While Ikaruga got what she need and sweets for Hibari."
"It was no easy task, but we pulled through nonetheless." Ikaruga nodded before looking at the Ice-Fire user curiously. "If I may ask, Shoto. Who was that girl you were with?"
"You mean Yumi?" Shoto asked as the raven-haired girl nodded. "We met when I was at the market to get some soba when I found her being bothered by someone who couldn't leave her alone." His statement causes both Ikaruga and Izuku to look concerned. "Thankfully I managed to save her before things escalated and she's been helping me with my shopping ever since."
"That was nice of her. She must be very grateful if she's willing to help you." Izuku said earning a nod from the double-coloured-haired teen before looking around as if he were searching for someone. "By the way. Where is Kacchan?"
"I'm over here, Deku."
Three students looked over and saw Bakugo walking towards them with both bags in each of his clenched hands. They also notice he seems a little moodier and pissed than he already is, which got them to think about what happened to make him act like that.
"You looked a little moodier than usual, Bakugo," Shoto stated, more than willing to speak what's everyone's mind. "Would you like to tell us?"
"As if I'll tell anything, Icy-Hot!" Bakugo snapped at him and sent a sharp glare to the other two, telling them not to ask, to which they got the picture and stayed silent. The blonde-haired boy huffed and brought both bags forwards. "Anyway, I got what you extras needed. Now can we go?"
"Aside from us, We got Futomaki rolls for Asuka, Sweets for Hibari, Ramen for Katsuragi, and Dried Squid for Yagyu." Izuku listed off seeing what he needed to see from the transparent bags he can see and smiled. "Looks like we got everything. We should head back so we can prepare."
"I cannot agree more, Izuku." Ikaruga smiled at him and turn her gaze towards the rest. "Now come along, we must return to the academy at once."
"Finally." Bakugo scowled as he and the rest began to walk out of the shopping district and head back to Hanzo Academy.
(Ninja Room.)
"Oh. So this Yumi person wanted to help you because you got her out from the guy who won't leave her alone?" Asuka questioned the Half-Cold-Half-Hot user, very intrigued by the story he told.
After the boys and Ikaruga returned to the Ninja Room, the raven-haired girl decided to make food on her own and told the boys to relax for their hard work. As she went off to cook, the whole group gathered in the middle and sat around the table, discussing what the boys went through while they were shopping.
Shoto was the first to explain to the group and nodded to her as he continued. "That's right. Even though I don't want to trouble her since she got her own groceries for her classmates, she insisted on helping me with the shopping as a way to repay me back."
"So she's a high school student then," Izuku said as he thought about when he saw his friend with a girl in some sort of school uniform. He then looks towards Shoto. "Does she say what school she goes to?"
"She told me she goes to a high school called Gessen Girls' Academy," Shoto answered the green-haired boy. "From the sounds of it. It appears to be an all-girls high school."
"I've heard about that school." They turn towards Yagyu sitting beside Hibari from the other side across them. "It's been established in Snow Mountain which is close to Tokyo during the Azuchi-Momoyama Period, so the families have all amassed immense wealth over the generations."
"Uuu~ With the school filled with so many girls, I must wonder what kind of beautiful jugs they have." Katsuragi chuckled cheekily with a perverted grin which cause Izuku next to her to look at her weirdly along with Asuka and Bakugo. Katsuragi then turns towards her fellow blonde. "What about you, Bakugo? Have you met someone in your shopping hunt? Hopefully a girl with wonderful boobs?"
Bakugo stares at her disturbingly before he recovered and turns away scowlingly. "...She's annoying."
"Wait? You actually met someone?" Izuku leaned forward towards the table and looks at his childhood friend eagerly after he heard his mutter. "Who-"
"DON'T EVEN ASK!" Bakugo shouted at him, making the Ninth user flinch back as Asuka and Hibari jumped while Katsuragi and Yagyu blinked at his sudden outburst. "No way in hell I'll ever tell you! You can drop dead!"
"What about me then?" Shoto tilted his head at him while waiting for his answer.
"Forget it! You can share the Nerd's coffin!" The Explosion user denied him angrily as Izuku sweatdrop at his usual outrageous self along with Asuka while Hibari looked nervous, Yagyu narrowed her eye at him and Katsuragi snickered.
Hibari looked at the green-haired boy who looked down with an expected sigh and cannot help but asked. "Hey, Izuku. Does Bakugo always yells whenever he's angry?"
Izuku chuckled nervously before looking up and watching his childhood friend arguing with the oblivious Shoto. "Y-yeah. It has always been like that ever since we were little."
"Oh, so you two grew up together?" Asuka ask him curiously as Izuku nodded, making her eyes widen in surprise and smile. "Then you two must be great friends if you got used to his personality."
Izuku stopped smiling when she said that as his face shifted into a small frown and looked down while muttering to himself. "Yeah... got used to it..."
His change of demeanour has not gone noticed by Asuka, Hibari and Yagyu who listened as they wonder why he looked sad. That is until they remembered his explanation about his past life, how he was been bullied for most of his life until high school. This makes them worried for Izuku as Asuka looked toward Bakugo and then Izuku. She wondered if there was a history between those two boys. Izuku said he knows him since they were little, but why does he look so sad? She then remembered how he was called Deku before he changed the meaning behind it, and Bakugo had been calling him that quite a lot. So if Izuku knows the blonde boy for a very long time...
Asuka looks at him worryingly, fearing for the possibilities that are running through her head as she reaches her hand out to him gently. "Hey, Izu-"
"The food is ready, everyone."
The whole group around the table stopped what they were doing and turned towards Ikaruga walking towards them with a single plate in her hands. She stopped between Katsuragi and Shoto with a proud look on her face. "I have finished cooking the food for us to eat."
Everyone was left confused at first until Shoto spoke up with his eyebrow raised in confusion. "Why do you have one plate with you?"
"Because I, Class Representative, have a chance to cook it all myself, in my own way," Ikaruga responded, earning surprised looks from all around the table as she brought the plate down on the table for everyone to see. And what they saw shocked them as they look at something on the dish that cannot be described in words other than there're rolls. "I called them 'Dried Squid Katsudon Soba Ramen: Futomaki Edition Plus Spicy Sweets.'" Ikaruga folded her arms under her large breasts, looking triumphant while doing so. "In my estimation, friends should be happy to partake of one another's favourite foods."
"Uuuuh." Izuku tried to say anything positive about this dish but couldn't bring them to words as he looked at the unusual food with a disturbed look just like everyone else. "Is-is this even edible?"
"Uh... How do I put this delicately?" Asuka muttered, thinking of a way to say anything that won't upset Ikaruga.
"The hell, what even is that shit?" Bakugo spoke up disgustedly as he stares at the dish with a repulsive expression. "They look like bison's infected penis."
"Ka-Kacchan/Bakugo!" Izuku and Asuka chastise him as the rest of the table looked grossed out by his description. They both looked at the Class Rep, worrying about how she'll react to his comment, and they saw her looking extremely hurtful.
"Yo-you're saying you... don't like my dish?" Ikaruga looked at everyone dejectedly then later look down to the ground, feeling ashamed of herself. "I-I see..."
Izuku looked at her worryingly and turned his head towards the combined food Ikaruga created. With a firm nod and determination in his eyes, he grabs one of the rolls from the plate and brings it to him. "Alright, I'm going to eat it."
"HUH!" almost everyone shouted as they watch the bold move from the Ninth Weilder taking one of Ikaruga's 'speciality'.
"Midoriya, Are you sure?" Shoto asked him with a hint of worry, concerned for his best friend's health if he eats... whatever Ikaruga made.
Izuku nodded firmly while looking at Ikaruga with a smile. "Ikaruga spend her trouble making this. So I'm willing to eat it so her hard work will not go to waste."
"Izuku..." Ikaruga gasps slightly as she watches him about to take a bite out of her prepared dish.
"I would consider rethinking this, kiddo." A concerned ghostly voice spoke out as he slightly turned his gaze and saw the orange vintage of Lariat looking at the food in his with a wary expression. "We don't even know what this... 'thing' will do to your stomach."
"Don't worry. It will be fine." Izuku assured him mentally, returning his gaze to the mixed-up roll in his hands. "Besides, Danger Sense will tell me if this is dangerous or not."
"That's... not how my Danger Sense works, I'm afraid." The bright green vintage of Shinomori appeared and look at the Ninth with worry. "You should listen to Banjo's consideration. Even I wouldn't dare eat something as weird as whatever it is your holding."
"That's because you didn't eat anything other than wildlife, you Hermit," Lariat told him as the Fourth sighed before both he and the Fifth vanished into the Quirk's realm.
"Alright." Izuku turned to Asuka beside him as she took out a roll from the plate and bring it near her mouth. "If Izuku gonna eat it, then I will too."
"A-Asuka! You can't be serious!" Katsuragi shouted in shock. Two of her favourite targets are willing to chow down whatever stuff Ikaruga considers food. This could be a death sentence to them.
"Izuku's right. Ikaruga did go out of her way to make this, and it will be a waste if you don't eat it." Asuka turned towards her new friend and smiled at him with confidence and support. "So let's do this together, Izuku."
Izuku blinked in surprise and stares at her for a second until he smiles back in return, happy for her full support as he nodded to her. "Right."
"Um, should we stop them?" Hibari asked as she watch them with worry, very scared for the two who are more than willing to eat something that could very well hurt their stomach.
"Why would we?" Bakugo replied to her question, sending off a serious expression towards the two willing to take a bite. "If Deku and Ponytail wish to give themselves indigestion, then that's their choice."
"I'm sure they will pull through, Hibari," Yagyu assured her friend, wanting to ease her worries for Izuku and Asuka and give her hope that they will make it. She will admit, it was rather bold of Izuku to risk his stomach into eating something that you would consider unedible. Even Asuka joined in with him. So for that, she will place her faith in them making it out alive.
Izuku looks at Asuka while she looks back at him as they both nodded with determination in their eyes before setting their eyes on the rolls. Without further delay, they both took a bite of the rolls and starts munching on them. The group tensely waits for them and wants to see how they will react, hoping they will spit them out instead of swallowing them. A few moments pass and the two swallowed them, earning a mix of worry and grossed look as they did so. And instead of looking disgusted, their eyes shot widened and they looked surprised.
(MHA OST: Momo Yaoyorozu. Starts Playing.)
"Wow..." Izuku was awed as he turned towards the roll he took a bite of it and was surprised. "It tastes so good."
"Huh?" Everyone blinked at his sudden compliment, they look at the brunette girl and she two looked surprised.
"He's right. This is way better than I thought it was gonna be!" She agreed with him as she stares down the roll with amazement.
"Wait. Are you two actually serious?" Katsuragi stares at them surprised, glad they think it was good for them, but still concerned for their stomach if they actually ingested them.
"Well, you know what they say. Never judge the book by its cover." Shoto commented while Bakugo stares on with a disbelieving look in his eyes.
Ikaruga was very pleased that Izuku and Asuka tried out her cooking and was a success as she smiled while closing her eyes. "I'm glad you like it."
"Still... I really was in the mood for a plain old Futomaki roll." Asuka frowned sadly despite the flavouring taste she had, earning a blinked look from the Class Rep.
"Yeah... I could go for just Katsudon." Izuku agreed while nodding until he then turns towards Ikaruga and smiled at her. "But I'm happy for what I have, so thank you very much."
Katsuragi hummed as she gazed at the rolls with a serious expression. After thinking hard, she decided to hell with it and was about to grab one. "Well, if Izuku and Asuka enjoy it, then I guess I'll have one."
"Oh! I want some too!" Hibari cheered happily as she started to grab one.
"Let me taste test it first before you start eating, Hibari." Yagyu cautioned before grabbing a roll herself.
"Guess I'll try one." Shoto grabbed one for himself from the plate, then turn towards Bakugo and motioned his free hand to the food. "You want one, Bakugo?"
Bakugo scoffed at his request. "As if! No way in hell will I stuff that thing in my mouth." He gets up and walks away from the group. "I'm getting what I can from the counter. Good luck puking your guts out."
After Bakugo left, everyone around the table helped themselves to Ikaruga's unique speciality, enjoying the unexpected tastes as they talk one another. As they talked among themselves, Shoto took a bite out of the roll before shifting his thought to the girl named Yumi who assisted him with his shopping after he helped her. After hearing her school is in the snow mountain, he realized Yumi must've travelled a long way to get to the Asakusa District from there. He wondered if she got to her school safely, which is confusing since he hasn't felt concerned for anyone other than his family and friends from his world, along with what his eldest villainous brother is doing. Was it because he remembered a dejected look on her face and wishes to help her? Or was there more to Yumi than what she appears to be?
Whatever the case, he closes his eyes as he breathes out before looking up a little and staring off. "I wonder how she's been doing?"
(MHA OST: Momo Yaoyorozu. Stops Playing.)
(Snow Mountain: Gessen Girls' Academy.)
Up in the snowy mountain where the single-octagon high school building was established, Yumi entered the interior and headed her way to the hidden Ninja Room somewhere in the school. She's been greeted by many female students that she's been passing by as she walked and greeted them back along the way. As she walked to where she was going, her mind took her to the memories of the certain double-coloured-haired boy she met in the shopping district.
Shoto Todoroki, from what she knows about him, is a very interesting person in her eyes. How he's willing to aid people who are in trouble, herself included from that delinquent in the market. If he didn't aid her, she would be dealing with him herself in her own brand of justice. But if that happened, she wouldn't have met Shoto. She was surprised by what she saw when Shoto grabbed the thug by the shoulder, how she barely saw a small hint of frost coming out of his hands. It got her to think if he was some kind of Shinobi, with him wearing the uniform of Hanzo Academy. And when she returned the favour by aiding him with his shopping, she gets to learn what she can about him. Apparently, he and the two boys called Midoriya and Bakugo were transferred to Hanzo Academy due to personal reasons but won't say much about it. She knew there was more to the story than simply him being a transferred student, but she won't question him further, including the incident in the market.
And after she helped Shoto with his shopping and went back to the district so he can meet up with his classmates, She was caught off guard by how kind and considerate Shoto was after she briefly tells him about her problems. How he is willing to listen to her if she decided to talk about it to get all of it out of her chest and wanted a way to help her. She doubts there's a way to help her with what she and her classmates are going through, but it's so kind of him nonetheless. This got her to smile warmly at the words from Shoto. She doesn't know why but from the feelings in her heart, she's looking forward to seeing Shoto once their paths cross again in the coming future.
Her thought finally ended when she come across the door that was only accessible to high-ranking students such as her. She opened the door and walked through, shutting the door behind her and walking into the Ninja Room. On the far left side of the room with chairs - most likely where they eat as there are cabinets that contain dishes behind them. There are two moon bridges leading towards two separate sliding doors - one with a portrait of nighttime and the other with a portrait of daytime.
At the front top of the right side, there is a gold partition placed on a wide tatami mat. Behind the partition are two grey gargoyle statues, and on the tatami mat there are three pink zabutons neatly stacked on each other. On the left side of the partition, there is a sliding door that has a portrait of dusk. On the left, there are two rooms separated by purple and green noren. At the bottom of the right side, there is a rock garden with stepping stones and two tōrō. In the upper-left-hand corner, there are moss-covered rocks and a fountain that has a shishi-odoshi. The bottom right has a red lounger with a matching parasol attached to it.
Yumi looked around and heard talking coming from the left side, she turned and saw her friends/classmates sitting around the kotatsu, a small table with pink blankets on each side. All of them are wearing the same Gessen uniforms as her, with three sitting around the kotatsu while one was standing in the distance. The small girl is named Monori, she has light brown hair in a twin ponytail with big green rings around them and blue eyes with small yellow purples. Another is Shiki, she has long blonde hair with red eyes along with light makeup. The third one is named Murakumo, she has dark brown hair tied in a ponytail on the right side and wears an oni mask. And finally, the one who was standing and is her closest friend was Yozakura, she has short dark blue hair with a pink flower on it and green eyes.
Yumi looks at them and lets out a light sigh, having a feeling they would come here and play around instead of training when she told them to do. But she decided to let this slide for now and walks over to them, gaining their attention by greeting them. "Everyone."
The girl turns towards her and smiled, as Shiki waves at her. "Yo, Yu-and-mi, so glad you're back!"
Minori pouted at her as she laid her front underneath the kotatsu with her head on the pillow. "What took you so long, Yumi? You have been out for ages!"
Yumi let out a kind smile to her and apologised. "I apologize for being let, Minori. I'll make sure it won't happen again?" She then looks around as if she's looking for something and turned back at her friends with a question. "Where are Ryobi and Ryona, if I may ask?"
"They left a few minutes before you arrived." Murakumo, who was once busy drawing on a piece of blank paper, answered in a deeply serious tone.
"I see." Yumi looks down in wonder, asking herself where the twins have gone. She decides to ponder on that later and look back up. "I have brought the necessary groceries, and I hope they'll satisfy you," Yumi placed the bag on the table and everyone looks inside the bag.
As the girls smiled and were delighted at what they saw inside the bag, Shiki turns towards Yumi and ask her a question. "So, Yu-and-mi, what makes you so late? Normally, when you get stuff for us you returned, like, faster."
Yumi sighed under her mouth and frowned a little. "I was halted by one of the delinquents in the Asakusa district in the market, I told him countless times to leave me alone but he refuse to listen."
The girls frowned at this as Minori gave off a mean, childish glare. "I bet you give that bad guy what he deserves."
"In under normal circumstances, I would've. However," She later smiled warmly at the later memory, to which the girls caught on. "The boy from a different school came to my aid and sent that Delinquent away."
"Oh. So, like, someone helped you and he happens to be a boy?" Shiki questioned as she leans in with eagerness in her voice when Yumi mentioned a boy. "So, like, who is he? What school is he from? Is he hot? Did you give him your phone number?"
"Yumi doesn't have a phone, remember?" Murakumo said before getting back to her drawing, getting a realised expression from the blonde girl.
Minori looks at Yumi with an awed curious look and slightly lifted herself up. "Does he have a name, Yumi?"
"His name is Shoto," Yumi responded, her smile slightly more noticeable when she says his name. "And as for what school, he goes to Hanzo Academy."
"Hanzo Academy? Isn't that, like, a name after our..." Shiki trailed off until she stopped when her expression suddenly shifted into sorrow and grief.
Soon everyone followed suit and the atmosphere suddenly dies down. Minori looked extremely sad as her mouth quivers and her eyes watered, and Murakumo stopped drawing and looks down in sadness. In the distance, Yozakura flinched heavily when Shiki was about to mention something very important to her, as she comforted herself while rubbing her arms.
Trying to set all that aside and wanting to lighten up the mood, Yozakura walked up to the girls and grabbed the bag with food inside. "Why don't we all get ready to eat? I'm sure all of you must be hungry."
"Yeah, I'm starving," Minori said, feeling her mood going up at the mention of food.
"Thank you, Yozakura." Yumi bowed her head in appreciation. "We'll be sure to prepare once you return."
Yozakura nodded with a smile and started to walk off with a bag to prepare the meals for the girls. As she left, Shiki turns towards Yumi and tapped her hand on the kotatsu. "Come sit with us, Yu-and-mi. I want to know more about this Shoto person."
Yumi sighed but couldn't find any reason to decline and sit under the kotatsu with her friends. She answered numerous questions the best she can from Shiki and Minori about her time outside while Murakumo finished up her drawing before packing them away to her side, as all of them are getting ready for Yozakura to bring over the foods of their choice.
A.N: The chapter is done! Now that the Hanzo Girls witness what the Three Musketeers are capable of, along with Bakugo and Shoto have unexpected encounters in their shopping, what's going to happen in the future?
There's not much for me to tell honestly, other than that I'm so sorry I took too long to post this, I've been so busy planning out my other stories that I've barely gotten any writing done. But I've finished planning and got all of them ready so I can't wait to show them to your readers when I have the chance. All that constant waiting should be over... probably.
So if you like this story so far, feel free to fav and/or follow. Leave a review to tell me what you think and what I should improve on in the future.
Until then, see you readers in the next chapter and always remember. Go beyond, PLUS ULTRA!
