Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Inky Hearts. Enjoy the 7600-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi, and a few others do.
Chimon was silent before looking up at Nejire. She was a gem in the rough, not entirely pure, and yet it was more and more clear she was one of the best warriors in life, focused purely more and more interested in what would be said and done.
Yet? All it did was make him utterly adrift before now, it was increasingly of an odd little issue for now as she looked around before it came to question.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Nejire asked before swirling a lock of his hair around her finger before she uses her quirk to float it around her finger.
"It's a lot harder to answer… You sure you, ok?" Chimon before tilting his head before clicking his tongue and looking up.
"So yeah?" Nejire questioned as he tilted his head before clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Nejire questioned before she frowned to herself. "Sorry, I'm being silly, it's weird, right?" Nejire asked before Chimon slightly sifted before rolling his eyebrows.
"Nejire, it's fine… It's funny, to be honest. I don't mind, honestly. I don't even understand it myself but it's really funny." Chimon stated before smiling at her despite himself. "We still get to have fun, right? It's not easy being kids at times." Chimon stated before frowning to himself.
It was a few more minutes of silence before yawning to himself. the idea was so amusing for now, so worthy of amusement and so interesting over and over again that Chimon was to laugh if it didn't seem amusing or insulting to her.
"So… You want me to draw something for now? I want to know if you want me do you want me to draw something new or something I've been working on a lot more. I've got a few drawings, but I don't know if they're ready for now." Chimon stated before frowning to himself.
It was worth noting for now simply what came next would be a problem and yet? Chimon was ready for the purpose for now, eager to see it all comes down to it.
"Can I see some of it first?" Nejire asked as Chimon blinked, confused as he tried not to blush. "The art I mean, it's pretty good, but I want to see it. I don't know what to do next." Nejire said before looking around.
"Sure… I just need a few days to try and get it all said and done." Chimon stated before looking around. "All of this was… Fun, really fun, I wouldn't mind doing it again. I don't know for now and yet. I need to think for now. I don't know for now what to do either. it will be easy, but I need to get it done and dusted…" Chimon stated before frowning to herself, questioning more and more for now.
It was not easy to try and accept it, but for now, interested. It was worth it more and more before now. All of it was a certain way for now and it'd continue to be like that needed or could be needed would be worth it for now. Nejire wanted more and more to try and get more and more in life than possible.
"Are you ok?" Nejire questioned to which Chimon nodded before frowning and looking around, curious only for now what needed to be done and dusted, curious only for now as to how well a hero of his caliber would need to perform to try and get it all over with.
Chimon was worried and rightfully so for now. it was clear more and more if anything. Nejire poked him playfully, so it wasn't as if he worried her more than himself. it'd need to be worse and worse and yet. Chimon simply worried her before now because he was quiet, focused more and more upon issues to try and get around.
"Are you going to be able to tell me if something I made isn't good enough or not? Because I'm open to being told I'm terrible, it'd not be worth it for now if I ain't given my fair share of criticism, Nejire… It's what happens if you don't get to experience it fair and properly." Chimon questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"You ok with that?" Chimon heard before nodding, looking around with interest.
"From you? yea, it's part of life, Nejire." Chimon stated before frowning, only curious about what to say next. "Why? What did you assume? I can't accept I'm not perfect. Words are words and I can't be mad at words at the end of the day." Chimon stated before frowning as he did so.
He did not at all conceal a motive, it was simply a fact. Nobody wanted to not get honest answers. Nobody was above it and nobody wanted to have it happen to him as of now, it didn't appear for now to bother anyone or anything.
"You will be fine… You're always going to be fine; I simply hope you notice that." Chimon stated before sighing to himself, purely and utterly tired for now, interested in more and more in something else.
Still? Nejire's smile was worth it as it seemed to be worth and it made him amused, interested in what needed to be capable of more and more, interested and purely fascinated by it all.
Chimon was silent, curious only more and more fascinated with each little passing second of the day. it seemed as if today would end on a very amusing note for now. Aquatint would not argue against it either, not at all interested yet…
It just shows more ways to try and fix it and more would need to be done before either of them was properly trained to try and get it together. Chimon was able to laugh about it all the same at the end of the day.
It'd become better if allowed… If not? They could look forwards to problems befitting them at the end of the day. Chimon was still a bit thrown off by it all at the end of the day, more exhausted when it came down to it. There was a lot more to try and focus upon at such certain times.
She held his head in her arms and slowly brushed back locks of hair as if they were clay. It reminded him that even if she was one of the best heroes in the class, they were still kids fighting a war against people who were ready to almost burn the entire city down just to get what they wanted.
Still? There was a lot more to try and relax about, they weren't at war this very second and it was clear more and more at the end of the day. There was something about it that continued to make it seem better.
"This is nice. Do you think we can do this again? The fighting and hanging out at this park I mean. I don't expect much but I like it here… It's nice." Chimon stated as Nejire hummed.
She thought about it for a few seconds and then a few more. She knew very well her master wanted her to try and change and grow better but she also argued that she should be able to grow more as a person. It was argued to be fair that if she was allowed to get to relax with them that she'd be unable to get them all without being more open.
She liked Chimon, he was nice, he was willing to help when asked and she didn't mind coming back here. It was clear more and more that they were a team or at least a good partner.
"You sure?" Nejire asked, twirling a strand of his hair around her finger as she did so, unsure of what to say or do around him.
"Yeah. I'm fine training again… Unless you hit me as hard as possible with those shockwaves. They hurt to be fair and o don't know what to say about them besides they hurt at the end of the day. I think they hurt at the moment." Chimon said before he yawned and slowly started to fall silent at the end of the moment.
"Hey, can you draw now if manage to get your book? I want to see your drawings and I don't know what to try and do at the end of the day without seeing them. They look really good; I don't know what they are going to be like." Nejire said as Chimon nodded and slowly began to grow tired at the end of the day.
There was a lot of time for him to relax at the end of the time being and it was clear more and more that whatever was coming would cause him to break in some way and he'd like to relax knowing it, being slowly driven closer and closer with each passing second as he did so.
He looked at Nejire, watching as the girl hummed and slowly yet surely started to spin strands of his hair around like they were pretzel tips once more.
It only stood to amuse him more and more, each flick of her fingers reminding him that she had so much control of her quirk that she could and would be able to blow off bits and pieces.
"How long did it take you to get so much control of your powers? It's not often you get to relax." Chimon said as Nejire hummed.
"Years. I still think I'm learning here and there. It's not easy when you constantly need to practice control. Sometimes? I wonder if I'll lose control and blow something up. Do you worry about that?" Nejire asked to which she got a shrug which more than answered her question.
"Here or there. It's not easy, really not easy when you're dealing with ink powers, Nejire. You constantly need to worry about how to get more Ink, how to stop your suit from falling apart, you know?" Chimon asked as she nodded and looked down at the ground.
"You know, I know you guys all like to act like me and the others are super elite heroes and we can do everything and never fail. Mirio constantly knows how well you guys talk about him being the best hero besides me and Sun." Nejire said, pulling on a strand of his hair as if it were a toy. "We aren't the best of the best at all when it comes down to it," Nejire said before she drummed down on her knees.
"You know what you believe you said at the moment. I don't know what to say or do about it but I do know this. You guys inspire us to be better than we are. Do you know how everyone looks up to all might? We look up to you guys like we look up to him, you guys make us want to do better and better and better." Chimon said before he sighed.
"There's a lot I don't know, but I know you guys want to help people and it makes it want to try and do better and better… Like we're climbing a ladder." Nejire heard as she turned to look down at the ground, utterly unsure and uncertain of what to say and do next.
All of it pointed to something far beyond control, something he just couldn't or wouldn't admit, not easily, not when he could allow himself to relax knowing it. She knew more and more that he was trying to comfort her and help her climb the ladder that was in front of her and she was scared more and more with each passing second of the day.
All of it was just ridiculous to figure out… Truly, it'd be more and more ridiculous each second and each part of each day… It was a lot more stressful for the time being than he had envisioned which made it all the sweeter, all the swifter in redemption.
Yes, he had to strike it… To break the cord that had wrapped them together for so long together and ever within a nice sweet bow. It was a nice way to relax and a nice way to fix something that was all coming crashing down on the ground.
"I heard I talk too much from a lot of people," Nejire said as Chimon hummed.
"No. You just ask more questions than people have answers to. It's not bad to be curious, it is bad to not ask anything at all if I'm honest. It's why I ask people something." Chimon stated as he sat up before gesturing towards a tree next to him.
He didn't at all know if he was right or wrong and he didn't care over and over with time and effort. It was just going to be a hassle to shift to deal with.
"And what if I ask a bad question?" Nejire asked, leaning against the tree as she tapped her legs and Chimon hesitantly sat down on her leg.
"You're asking someone who's your age if it's a bad question, you know," Chimon said before he cracked his fingers and looked down at the ground. "But my guess? Keep asking. There are no wrong questions in life, just wrong answers, I guess. It's really hard to tell, life is always weird like that. It's always passing people by." Chimon said as she drummed on his shoulders.
He almost laughed at her gestures. It wasn't at all as disturbing as it was before, mainly because he could not for the life of him consider it a problem… No, he wanted to relax and he was using his energy to do so. Nejire wasn't a monster, wasn't a blemish, a pawn, an incomplete being to which he could say and do nothing but relax.
He was greeted by her resting her head atop his like a frog resting atop a lily pad. It almost made him laugh but he stayed his throat if for no other reason than respect for his new friend.
She smiled despite him not seeing it. Not only because she could and would allow him to relax but because he was within a position that allowed him to coordinate such a thing in record history for now.
It was something that could and would allow him to relax, unable to do so in a reasonable way. It was so odd more and more fathomable for now, a thing that he could relax upon seeing for now. There was a lot more to try and figure out as of now.
There's a lot more on the way he didn't wish to deal with, a desire he wasn't going to be able to focus on at the end of the day.
He just didn't know for now what was coming but he did know that what came next was something monstrous to it all and she knew it. She knew more and more that she could and would relax, for now, something she didn't even know for the moment and she didn't know what to think of for the time being and she was not stupid.
She was not even a little clueless when it came to her limits and ambitions, she was not stupid when it came down to her skill. No, she was purely ready for what to try and do next as she seemed to think more and more on the horizon.
She felt him lean his head against her stomach and legs as the two heroes looked out over the park. It was quiet and peaceful for once, grass and air slowly grinding to a halt around her as she sighed and allowed herself a moment of peace.
"You ever like doing this or do they frown on taking a break?" Chimon asked before he looked over the rest of the park, crossing his arms as he did so.
"They didn't, but they liked me to train. They said heroes don't rest because villains don't, it's a long story for the moment, do you have any stories at the moment?" Nejire asked to which she was given a nod.
"A few, and they're not wrong but they are also not correct to the same degree. We're kids, heroes, or not? We're kids fighting a war against bad guys… Even heroes need breaks or else they forget what their fighting for. Then what? How do you know if you're fighting for the right thing then?" He asked as he looked down at the ground, unsure of himself.
"I don't know. I don't know at all." Nejire said before she looked down at the ground, unsure and uncertain of her own choices as she contemplated herself, uneasy around him to a degree in which she could find no real resource within.
All of life seemed determined to scare her in some way shape or form, not just because she was unable to fathom it but because there was a bigger problem upon her mind.
She liked training with Chimon, not just because he was fun and innocent but because it also gave her clarity within it all for the end of the day. It gave her a sense of enjoyment at the moment and she rarely if anything thought for now.
She didn't at all know what to expect from them, not at all, not when there was so much upon the line to fathom… So much that it hurt.
"Can we train again soon? When you're not busy? Would that be ok if possible?" Nejire asked before she thought of it for now.
She heard him hum before he turned to look at her for a few seconds a few minutes later, unsure of it before he finally managed to rely upon it all as she relaxed to herself.
All of it seemed to be able to relax once more, unsure of what needed to be fixated upon and he was tired, unable to fathom it all… The idea of every single little measure of mercy upon her mind bothered her.
She looked at Chimon who had been tired, a look on his face told her that he had been able to relax and he looked downwards once more, tired, unsure of it all.
He didn't even know what to do next… Yet? he knew more and more that whatever he did for now? it'd probably help for now if it wasn't too odd.
He hummed as she tapped him playfully upon the head, unsure and uncertain of what was going on as she tapped him atop the skull, running her fingers into a self-styled smirk for now.
"Are you going to be ok when we get back to training?" Nejire asked before she looked downwards and slowly climbed to her feet.
"Just… Give me a minute, Nejire." Chimon said before doing so, unsure, and uncertain of his intentions. "You want to keep going?" Chimon asked before he looked down and then at her with a hum, cracking his fingers.
"For a few minutes, I want at least an hour of training, it's what I was told to get as much training as possible whenever I can." Chimon heard as he nodded and looked downwards at the ground.
"Ok then… Let's get to work." Chimon said before the ink-filled hoses on his costume started to function. "Let's do this…. Just? Don't get too crazy, I need a moment to catch my breath and relax… Uh, ready when you are?" Chimon asked, raising an eyebrow as she did so.
All of it seemed to bug him as she cracked her smile like always and faced him, it was so odd, so very odd to them both and they knew it. He wasn't going to do something about it at all. Chimon knew more and more that she wasn't trying to disturb him, not at all.
Nope, she just wanted training, to get better as a hero, unable to relax until she was at the level she could relax for now. He could truly relax when it was all said and done once more and he would do so when allowed.
Chimon watched as she slowly started to fly upwards, floating in the air with her feet just a few meters off the ground, all of it was going to make his head spin like a top.
He almost wondered if she wanted to laugh at him, he'd not allow it but it was clear this was insanity at the end of the day, insanity of it all seemed to be on a mission when it came down to it.
I didn't at all know nor would he for anytime soon. They had a lot more on their minds.
They had a large amount of strife involved to it when it was all said and done. They had a lot more upon which to deal as he cracked his fingers for now.
They had a lot more to try and figure out, for now, something odder and odder to figure out, a nightmare upon which could not be truly figured out for now over and over.
It made little sense on one hand, but for now? it didn't exactly matter, only did it matter that he could push her into another fight, stop her from stopping him at all, at all when it came down to it for now.
He was ready, he had to be, or else she'd fall just short of where she had to go next. What she did know? He wasn't going to relax, not until he managed to get it to come crashing down and fixed.
All options he didn't even have time for now, not until he could look it in the eye, finding an excuse he just didn't at all have, one he had to nurture until it was all said and done.
All options upon his mind slowed to a close as she sent a shockwave rippling towards him, he conjured a wall of ink to jettison him away, rolling along the ground before he was hit by another one which jolted his body like a hurricane.
He was sent skidding along the ground, rolling along it like a log caught in the middle of a hurricane and it was… interesting, truly interesting in a way he didn't know for certain.
He spun, feeling his ribs ache before firing a blast of ink which nailed her in the legs, Nejire was forced to spin in the air only for him to tackle her, intending to stop him from flying and dispelling her attempt to stop his assault.
If she could fly? She had all the advantage she needed over him which would remain until the death of her stamina.
He was sent twirling backward as she spun and used another shockwave to send Aquatint flying into a tree, slamming into it with enough force to knock loose almost every single little branch.
"Ow," Aquatint said as he rubbed at his new injuries. "This doesn't seem like fair training," Aquatint stated before he looked down at his feet with exhaustion.
He knew very little could prepare him for what came next as of now. He just didn't at all manage it for now as he looked at the ground, thrown around, now, unable to fathom it for now. The ideas flooding his mind made him want to laugh at the madness.
He was exhausted to the core and she knew it as she floated down. she barely had a scratch on her while he? He felt like he was going to puke out a rib or something similar.
He wasn't able to relax once more as he seemed to think more and more of what his next move would be to take them down and how well he could relax seeing it all ended for now and would always end.
Well, he wanted them to at least before his ribs were turned into dust and he was forced to wallow on the ground, all such options had turned more and more into what he had needed it to have been.
Chimon panted, totally unsure and uncertain for now as he looked down at the ground, there was an air of amusement on his face either way since he couldn't exactly fault her for acting the way she did.
It was part of her simply being who she had been, what he didn't at all know was simply how well she was trying to deal with a measure of madness he couldn't even begin to figure out and wouldn't meet with a rebuttal.
All of it pointed more and more to an idea he was unable to fathom, more so because he knew that she was beyond his ability to stop and to fight to begin with. everything he could do to stop her? Well, it wasn't exactly something he could see himself dealing with for now.
"Ok, I think…" Chimon said before he collapsed, falling to the ground in pain as he looked downwards, unable to do anything about it.
Nejire floated to the ground and sighed. She supposed she could at least agree that she had been pushing a bit too much. She was one of the better heroes at UA and she was pushing someone to fight clearly when they were tired, it was like a sapling fighting a hurricane.
"Chimon, I'm sorry!" Nejire said before she flew over.
"It's ok… Ow, my back hurts." Chimon said, managing to pull himself to his feet. "My costume still gives me a little protection towards it… It just really damns hurts to try and deal with the pain." Chimon said which wasn't at all the truth for now.
He could feel a lot of pain on his back, a LOT more than he believed he could understand, if for no other reason than he felt he was too exhausted just to stand up for now. The pain within him was truly real as he managed to look downwards at the ground.
What else could he manage to do? it wasn't exactly like he wasn't trying to help and he was purely aware of the fact it was too important to think about, far too important to deal with for now.
Nejire finally seemed to relent, falling to the ground, unsure of what to try and unsure before she was unable to relax once more, leaning on the tree next to him and tapping his arms as she had done for now.
He was in pain, a lot more unsure and uncertain for now. They had a lot more to relax once again, uncertain of his maneuvers and unable to do more than crack his fingers.
He hummed and looked downwards at the ground, humming to himself once more when it came down to it over and over.
Nejire looked at him, watching as he hummed to himself and slowly started to climb to her feet. She looked at him with sympathy as he felt tired and groggy but still able to look at her with a little bit of pain on his face.
He had a lot more on his mind when he was not mad at her roughhousing for a moment.
"Good enough?" Aquatint asked as she finally nodded, allowing him to collapse. "You wonder why you guys are treated as the best heroes in school when Lemillion can fight and beat an entire class of us at the same," Aquatint stated as Nejire hummed.
She knew, she had to know. It was obvious to him that he could trust her to understand things, Nejire was an airheaded woman, not a stupid one. They were kids, after all, and they were all distracted by certain things.
Nejire plopped downwards next to her as she hummed and felt him collapse as well, finally letting his injuries catch up to him.
She leaned him against her as he blinked, confused when it came down to it. What she did do next? It wouldn't last, whatever training she pushed for.
She knew it wouldn't be worth it to push today at the expense of others. Aquatint still had to help with crime and it was going to push him too far to try and figure something else for now.
The pain on his face made her guilty, a lot more guilty than before. She didn't at all want to relax… She also didn't want to throw him for a loop, pushing him down a path he couldn't at all control… Something that she could only seek to control with proper time and effort.
"I'm sorry I pushed you," Nejire said as Aquatint snorted and looked down at the ground.
"We're heroes… It's cool if you can't take it? Why would I be here then?" Aquatint stated before he hummed, unsure of it all.
"I'm still sorry, I feel like a jerk for it," Nejire said as Aquatint hummed.
"You ain't, I signed up for this… Even if my back hurts, like REALLY hurts for now." Nejire hummed and looked downwards at the ground, ready to scream for now.
It hurt, he couldn't at all deny that he had been hurt as she ran her fingers atop his head. He did still feel ok to go home… Wasn't like he couldn't rest at home, plus his costume was designed to give him SOME protection from getting thrown around.
He still felt himself smile despite the insanity of it all. He couldn't help but find it amusing for now… An idea that he could truly not reconcile again and again. There was a lot more to it all and he hummed, unsure of himself before now. He wanted to cry but he laughed all the same.
He was so weirded out by it all again and again as he hummed to himself and simply looked down at the ground. He supposed he knew more and more that if anything? It was a measure that could grow odder and odder for now, a decision that would get better and better for now…A very odd time at the moment to be alive.
There was a lot more to see and deal with for now, again, and again, did they get thrown against the wall for the time being, fighting a battle they were not meant to and it drove them mad with the grief now.
It was odd, a feeling that continued to be superior to what needed to be done again and again.
Whatever could and would be done? It'd be done properly or not at all for now. He sighed before he felt her hair tickle his face, she was so odd when it came to them both but he could not for the life of him argue against it at the end of the day, something that would keep him going.
"Are you going to be, ok? We have a lot more to see and do, you know that, don't you?" Nejire asked before she looked downwards at the ground.
Nejire hummed as Chimon shrugged, him seeming to grow more and more tired, unsure, and uncertain for the moment as he looked downwards. She didn't know him to be so odd but it was something that needed to keep growing for now.
She playfully continued to play with his hair, amused more than thrown off. She felt like a kid just like she guessed he did. There was a lot more to this than she had thought and yet she wanted to be ok.
"I like this… It's fun to hang out in a park when we don't have to keep fighting all the time… There's a lot more to life than fighting, isn't there?" Nejire asked as Chimon hummed.
"Depends on how you see it… There's a lot more to this, odder and odder for now." Chimon said as he sighed and looked around for the time being…
There was always going to be a problem with it for now, a desire to train to be better. he couldn't fault her for taking it so dangerously. They had a lot more to see and do, something that continued to bug him for now.
They would always get to be better. Both heroes always had issues to deal with, something that kept bugging him but it was going to be a thing he could control at this very moment. They had a lot more to see and do before training ended.
"You should know for a fact that there's a choice to try and deal with it for now, the best measure of life is that life isn't going to be easy, there's always life," Nejire said before Chimon hummed to himself once more.
This would be amusing to try and figure out, to explain later, he had a lot more to try and under control… A measure of mercy that seemed to be superior to oddly end for now.
Chimon fell silent, unsure of her and himself once more. They had a LOT more to discuss sooner or later, something he couldn't handle… Not in this manner or the next.
"What do you think happens if something comes and we can't fight it? this wasn't what we signed up for… War I mean, we're superheroes, not soldiers." Chimon stated to which there was silence, something stirring in the mud.
"Are you utterly, ok?" Nejire asked before she raised her eyebrow and then seemed to look downwards at the ground.
She sighed and cracked her fingers as she patted his head playfully, looking out at the end of the day while she looked upwards and then at the sky. This peace? She'd die for it at the moment as she looked at Chimon, pondering what needed to be done next.
What needed to be done would be done and she would ask nothing more and nothing less than what needed to try and figure out at the moment as she sighed, utterly maddened by a path none of them walked.
"I don't know, I think we asked that question to death today… Are you scared?" Chimon asked as Nejire hummed, falling silent at the end of the day.
She didn't at all know what to try and figure out, she didn't at all know what to try and figure for now as she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth.
She was utterly unsure of what to see and do next as she looked downwards at the ground, something about it all would continue to be odder and odder.
"Is it wrong I'm a little scared?" Nejire asked before she looked downwards at the ground.
"We're all people, heroes should continue to walk forwards at the end of the day… So yes, I'm sure it's ok." Nejire heard as she looked downwards at the ground.
She ruffled his hair playfully, unsure of what to see and do once more. All of it continued to be the same way that it could walk for now, a measure of peace seemed to try and deal with her agony.
She hummed to herself but continued to playfully with his hair again as the two slowly started to climb to their feet. She would not at all know what to try and deal with next, but she would face it if it came for her.
Chimon would as well, she felt no amount of fear but no lesser amount of pride in it. She knew that he was a good friend and that was something she would need a large amount of mercy upon which to deal with, something that only seemed to grow with time and effort.
She doubted it was because of something she did… It was just too odd to try and figure it out at the moment.
It was a desire to grow more and more as she looked upon the ground with amusement at the end of the day.
"So much about this is wrong, you know it, right?" Nejire heard as she looked downwards.
"You should worry about everything except doing your best… Doing your best is just part of it all… Sides, you've been pushing yourself all day, you think you haven't BEEN pushing yourself the entire time." Chimon stated at the end of the day before now…
She had been thrown off what to try and do next… All of it seemed to keep going and going more and more at the end of the day, something that continued to build upward more and more at the end of the day.
"You're a good friend, you know that?" Nejire asked as Chimon shrugged and looked downwards at the ground.
"It comes with being a drawing hero… You got to learn to see every little detail, everything about it needs to click into place, I get that." Chimon said before he looked downwards at the ground, utterly thrown off at the end of the day.
She looked downwards at the moment, unsure of it all… Something that kept growing more and more.
"You could be a much better hero than you think at the moment," Nejire stated to which Chimon stayed silent.
He knew she had a point, but so did he. He'd rather his point stick more than hers, not out of jealousy, but because he knew he was only going to understand his point for now.
It just wasn't meant to be, for now, something that he could do and what had to be done.
"And if I did? Then what? I get ahead of heroes who can grow a lot more? We all got gifts. I know we do… But my gift isn't being better than anyone. It's something I ain't going to do. I am not that person." Chimon said as he sighed to himself once more.
"You aren't scared of what happens if you don't get better?" Nejire asked, slowly sitting up.
"Same thing that happens to everyone… I'm not better than everyone, nor am I going to be anything like that." Chimon stated as he sighed and rested his hands on his chest as he did so. There was a lot more upon which he could relax.
"You aren't like that at the end of the day and neither am I… And now I'm going to stop because being deep and relaxing isn't the way I want to do it at the moment." Chimon stated as he looked downwards at the ground before smiling to himself once more as he hummed to himself more.
He fell utterly silent as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth and then yawned before looking downwards.
He then looked at the sky with interest, watching every single little explosion again and again for now for the moment were unsure at the end of the day for a second.
All it did was build something upwards again and again at the time once more as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, utterly able to relax more and more with each little second as of the time being, yet? it would end eventually, knowing that it could have been dealt with.
There was a LOT more to try and deal with it all, something about it all that didn't even end, knowing what was going to happen and dreading it all the same.
The same way everything did at one point or another, at some point, they all did so. Perhaps it was their destiny to end this way or perhaps it wasn't, they could not be entirely sure.
Nejire yawned, feeling herself utterly drained of it all in ways that could not begin to be fathomed… Not purely physically, she had trained herself to have a FAR larger reserve of stamina when it came to fighting.
No, she felt tired mentally and emotionally. She knew why and she didn't much mind it at the end of the day, something that only made her more curious at the end of the day, an idea that only seemed to gain traction the more time they spent here.
"I want to stay here for a bit. Can you show me some of those sketches in your notebook for now? I want to see what's in them." Nejire stated to which Chimon seemed silent, nodding.
"In a few minutes… Are you ok enough to be able to relax for now? There's a lot of sketches in my book, too many to just think of at moment." Chimon said before he sighed and looked downwards at the ground.
Whatever needed to happen next could wait. They had a moment of serenity that didn't just die out given enough time and effort. He yawned more or less amusing as he hummed.
He knew at the end of the day that she was… Odd, a very odd and skilled woman who cared a lot about being a hero… There was nothing he would not do to try and be helpful to her as best he could deal with it.
She sighed and rested her head against the top of his head, making him more tired than usual. There was just nothing at the end of the line to try and figure out, just a relaxing moment under the sun and being reminded that such a thing was amusing to them.
The steps he would take to end it were nothing short of a giant headache. It could not cut through the fat without help, one that didn't need to be played up at the end of the day, something that kept dealing with for now and for good.
He hummed to himself before he relaxed more and more, he sighed before he clicked his fingers and looked around for his backpack.
It was tough knowing that it was just too much to try more upon right now but knowing how important training would have been.
He looked at Nejire who was as carefree as before, thrown off by it all but unwilling to give it his all at this and before now and not allowing someone even vital rest they so damn well required for now, it wouldn't be over so soon, not even close.
Yet? he had felt at odds with the peace he felt so useless with and so unable to clear it.
He had known how to try and fix it, to appear more useful than before, he had known this and been eager to try and do something about it in ways and motions.
Perhaps she would be able to help him, help in his ways, unsure and uncertain? Perhaps it wouldn't be able to relax, wouldn't allow a single bit of pain and suffering.
She didn't even know him and she wanted to try and help, she wanted to help him, even knowing that he was a nobody, a rookie who had nothing.
She? She felt less like a hero and more like an angel, one who had seen his plight and wouldn't have allowed even the faintest idea of whom she was and who he was.
He was not at all ready to be as relaxed as she wished, she wanted his best? He'd give it, knowing what was coming and knowing how best to try and bring it out of him.
"You want me to walk you home when it comes to it? I'm going, to be honest? There's a very big amount of people and you? you aren't exactly going to be dealt with for now." Chimon hummed before Nejire closed her eyes.
She was able to pause, patting his head playfully and resting her skull atop his, her hair tickling his nose. It felt less like she was messing with someone or something.
The idea wasn't going to be easily dealt with for now… It could allow him to relax, he didn't know what would be dealt with for now.
She had been able to train, poking and prodding him in ways when it came to it in ways, she could not be able to deal with for now.
"I'd be happy about that… Can you relax? Let me try to deal with it for now… This isn't going to be easy to train, not even close… But I want to try and deal with it in ways I've wished to." Nejire stated before she paused and looked downwards at the ground.
"The more training, I can do? The more I can relax? That's how it goes?" Nejire stated before she looked downwards at the time being.
She didn't know when it came to an end, there was going to be a measure of mercy that she would shake to the side.
There's a lot of training when it comes down to it as she looked downwards at the ground before pausing herself. They had a LOT of measures to try and figure something out.
It would be too much to figure out as of now, they weren't going anywhere at present. This would be something that could be dealt with for now and it was going to be dealt with before now.
She paused before she relaxed and yawned to her before she managed to relax and then? It kept growing more and more at the time before now.
She seemed to be utterly unable to relax while she came to such an idea and would be dealt with for now, pausing to look downwards.
The two were cut off by an explosion, one which made them turn, pausing to look over their shoulder at the fireball which seemed to grow more and more powerful, utterly unable to do more than relax.
The idea of it would be something.
