Venti was my first 5 star character. He holds a special place in my heart. Looking at him now, though, something felt a bit off.
Were those… boobs?
Unlike most people, I was able to accurately identify Venti's gender at first glance when I first met him in game. Now though, me and my lower half were a lot less sure. For one, he looked more feminine. His figure had a more hourglass shape to it. For another, his already feminine voice was, for a lack of better word, more feminine.
Perhaps I should be referring to him as she starting from now on.
"Hey there!" Amber greeted the bard in a friendly manner. "I haven't seen you around here before. Are you a traveler from afar?"
"Why, I'm so glad you asked," Venti replied, pulling out his lyre and strumming a tune. "For I am the best bard in all of Teyvat! You won't find a better musician than me and that's that."
"Best bard in all of Teyvat? Whoa. What brings you here to Mondstadt?" Amber asked.
I was pretty curious as to why she decided to show up now of all times. It could be a coincidence, or it could be because of me. Maybe I'm not just an ordinary guy after all. I'm just like Aether for real for real.
"Ehehe, now that's a secret," she giggled out. Everything from her mannerisms, to her looks, to her voice was cute and working wonders on me. "So let's find a more secluded spot; A better place for us to sit down and talk."
Venti led us away from the prying eyes and ears of the other Mondstadters present. Where? Why, where else but up the giant tree.
"Uhh, are you sure this is a good idea?" I whispered into Amber's ear. Sure I've done plenty of commissions up there before, but my climbing abilities weren't exactly equivalent to in game. How the traveler is able to grip and climb even the smoothest of surfaces is beyond me. Maybe I'm not just like Aether. "We could, y'know, head somewhere else instead…"
"And where's the fun in that?" Amber countered, already making her way up the tree. From where I stood, I was offered a very nice view of her ass.
"Don't worry about climbing," Venti reassured me, already high up in the branches. "Climb the tree, and you'll see, that it really isn't as scary as it seems."
In school, I was taught not to fall into the trap of peer pressure. If my friends smoked or did drugs, I wouldn't follow in their footsteps and join along. Likewise, if they did stupid shit, like jump off a bridge, or go joyriding, or climb a big tree.
But the wink Venti gave me at the end of her sentence…
With her aqua green eyes and her adorable smile, my defenses crumbled like a stack of cards in front of a hurricane. I succumbed to the pressure. Placing both hands on the tree, I attempted to scale its trunk. To my surprise, it was much easier than I expected. Not because of my own strength though. Rather, it was because of a supporting gust of wind helping lift me up.
Kind of like the first fight against Dvalin where Venti lifts you up into the air with the power of Anemo to machine gun the dragon away. Although in my case, things were a lot less eventful.
Oh wow I'm pretty high up.
Also, Amber seemed quite unguarded, considering Venti was a strange yet respectable traveler she'd never seen before. I'd have expected a bit more suspicion to be directed at her. Have the knights become more lax after 5 years or was it simply because Amber subconsciously recognized Venti as her Archon?
"The truth is," Venti began, a dramatic tone to her voice, "I know a secret that can save Mondstadt, and the world, from its current predicament."
Despite her playful tone, I felt like she was actually being serious for once; her words for one, weren't rhyming anymore.
"Really!?" Amber asked, eyes wide. How very gullible and easily swayed. Though in this case, she wasn't wrong in thinking so. "If you really have a solution, we should report it to Master Jean immediately."
"There's no need, really. I believe she's already in the know."
"Can you tell us what this secret is?" Amber asked. Within me, I already had a feeling she knew I wasn't from this world.
"Why, it's you of course, outlander from afar." Venti easily replied, pointing a finger at me, a mischievous smirk on her face. "You will be the one to save Teyvat."
Figured she'd say that.
Amber didn't though. Venti's words instantly put her on guard. "How do you- Are you a spy from another nation?"
Standing in front of me protectively, Amber readied her bow. Her eyes were narrowed and her body assumed a defensive posture. The gesture was sweet, even if it was both unnecessary and wouldn't do much if Venti really was our enemy.
"Me? Spy? You wound me by thinking such an absurd thought."
And why would a spy reveal their identity so haphazardly.
Unfortunately for Venti, Amber kept thinking that thought. Outloud too. "It's pretty suspicious that Hellastic's arrival was leaked to the general public coinciding with your arrival along with the fact that you know his true identity. But the question remains: which nation sent you?"
Amber, you're overthinking this. She's your God.
"It's unlikely you're from Liyue. They value contracts above all else. The people from Sumeru should be wise enough to know not to interfere as well. And Inazuma was lucky enough to squeeze their way into the project, I doubt they'd risk jeopardizing their position. Which leaves the other 3 nations not part of the project."
Venti, all throughout Amber's monologue, tried and failed to get a rebuttal in. "Wait- no that's not right- hold on a second- yeah Morax is like that-"
"Snezhnaya being the most likely culprit."
Ah, the Fatui. I could see how her reasoning landed her there. Which reminds me, I've yet to see a Fatui member in Mondstadt. Not surprising though, considering the state of the world.
"They were the first to turn down the idea for a joint cooperation on the project, instead insisting they should be the ones to lead, stating their superior technology to be the reason why. When they were turned down, they turned their backs on the rest of the world, stating it would be impossible to finish the project without their help. And yet they came crawling back once they found out the project was nearing completion."
Was this entire conversation just exposition for me to better understand the political landscape Teyvat was currently in?
"So what's your plan? Have you come here to kidnap Hellastic? Are their Fatui agents scattered through the tree ready to strike at a moment's notice?" Amber eyed her surroundings warily.
Speaking of, the Fatui have some extremely hot ladies within their ranks. I honestly wouldn't mind getting kidnapped by them.
"Maybe you're overthinking things, Amber," I tried reasoning, speaking up for the first time, to which Venti agreed with enthusiastically.
"You should listen to your boyfriend here," she teased.
"My what!?" Amber said, her voice an octave higher, her composure lost.
"The wind knows," Venti cryptically answered. Wait, was she… watching?
The wink she threw at me confirmed everything. Venti is a pervert. Not too far-fetched an idea either. Especially considering what happened to Mona and her clothes when she tried to use her scryglass on her.
"I mean, does this bard really look like she hails from Snezhnaya?" I reasoned, bringing the conversation back on topic. "Not that I would know anything about Snezhnaya," I added that last part quickly.
"Now that I take a closer look, you're right," Amber said, properly observing the female bard. "Which begs the question, who exactly are you?"
"Why, I'm so glad you asked! Rejoice! For your Archon has returned!"
Amber stared blankly at Venti.
"..." Written all over her face was disbelief.
Venti stared back, her mouth resembling a sideways 3.
Silence filled the tree. Nothing but the distant sounds of birds chirping, beetles buzzing, and the swaying of the leaves could be heard.
Resolving to break the silence, I made an exaggerated searching motion, kind of like only of Amber's idle animation. "I don't see any Archon nearby… Wait, could you be referring to yourself? Are you a God?"
"Hehe, you have a sharp eye!" Venti had both hands on her hips and her face angled upwards in a proud pose. "It's true! I am none other than Barbatos, the God of Wind!"
"I knew I sensed something off about you when we first met," I played along. Quickly, I got down and knelt. "But to think you were someone of such high standard. Forgive me for my insolence."
Feeding her pride and stroking her ego - I figured it would work nicely.
"I like you already," she giggled out. "Much better reaction than that time when I revealed my identity to the church."
Was she referring to trying to the time where she tried to 'steal' the Holy Lyre or some other instance in the past? Didn't matter to me. Not when I found myself within the good graces of the Anemo Archon.
"Hellastic, are you really so gullible to believe her words?" Amber asked, exasperation evident in her words. Funny you ask, because I was thinking the same thing about you not long ago.
"Non-believers, am I right?" I shook my head in mock disappointment.
"Tis a shame," Venti said, a mournful look on her face.
"You guys can't be serious." Amber rolled her eyes, absolutely done with our bullshit.
"I've never been more serious in my life," I promptly responded. "Barbatos, show her."
"Way ahead of you," Venti replied, a playful and mischievous grin on her face.
A gentle breeze blew through us, rustling the leaves and fluttering our clothes. Slowly, the breeze picked up speed, steadily increasing in intensity.
It felt nice and refreshing, a sentiment Amber echoed judging by her sigh. Mondstadters am I right?
But the wind didn't stop there. Oh no, it had no intention of slowing down. What started off as a gentle breeze soon turned into a strong current of wind, gradually picking up in pace.
"Whoa."
We both had to steady ourselves, holding onto something nearby for support. In Amber's case, my arm. The branches, at least the smaller ones, and leaves swayed around us more. By now, I think Amber got the point. But Venti didn't seem content with stopping just yet.
She wasn't going to blow our clothes away now, was she?
"The wind is really picking up," Amber observed. She seemed to look at Venti differently now. Understandable, considering she's your God. "Perfect for gliding."
"So now do you see the error in your ways?" I asked.
"She probably just has an Anemo Vision," Amber concluded. Not too illogical of a conclusion either. You don't just expect your God to pop up in front of you one day after all.
Venti seemed to think the same thing, which just prompted her to blow harder. "But can just any Anemo Vision wielder do this?"
Whoosh!
My cloak was blown off. Then, by some divine means, my shirt, pants, everything, picked up by the wind, leaving me bare for all the world to see.
"Whoa! What the fuck!?" My hands reached down to my crotch instinctively to protect my modesty.
At least the clothes weren't mine, or I would have been a bit sad watching them fly off in the distance. And if it was any consolation, I wasn't the only victim.
"M-My clothes! The wind stripped all my clothes off!" Amber cried in surprise and indignation.
Hm, consolation isn't exactly the right word. In fact, I'd say it's a victory. Both being right and having a cute naked girl clinging onto me.
"Did you really have to blow our clothes away?" I asked the Anemo Archon, none too amused by her antics. "I mean, you could have just blown the non-believer's."
"Hey!" I received a smack behind my head for that comment. But it was all part of my master plan for she used the arm covering herself to hit me, leaving her beautiful breasts for my eyes to witness and savor.
"Ehe~ Amber here just happened to be collateral actually," Venti explained cheekily, winking with a hand to her lip and a tongue stuck out. "The target was actually you, Hellastic."
"Me?" I pointed at myself. "Why?"
"Two birds with one stone," she replied, shrugging her shoulders. "Now do you believe me?"
Amber nodded, a dumbstruck expression on her face. I can't blame her. When your God shows up in front of you and the first thing she does is blow away all your clothes, you'd be hard pressed not to be befuddled and confused.
But what about me? How am I supposed to get back to Mondstadt? Walking out there the way I am now is just an invitation to get jumped.
"And you Hellastic," Venti addressed me. She licked her lips. "I'm going to need you to move your hands aside."
Even though I likely knew the reason, I still couldn't help but ask, "Why?"
"Let's just say this Archon needs to do some sampling," Venti answered. With a light breeze, her clothes vanished, revealing her alluring body. Slowly, she stalked her way towards me like a predator hunting her prey, swinging her hips seductively. "Someone has to make sure your seed can properly germinate the population, after all."
It was futile to resist. She was a god after all. Such a shame, but I will embrace my fate with my head held high- Amber, what are you doing?
"Sorry, but no can do," Amber said, standing in front of me protectively. "Hellastic promised that I would be his first."
I did promise her that. Which leaves only one option…
"So why don't we do it right now?" I proposed from behind Amber. My hands wrapped around Amber's stomach, pulling her close to me, eliciting a surprise squeak from her. It also had the side effect of causing my now rock hard erection to press firmly against her soft ass. "And then Barbatos here can analyze the aftermath. Hell, you're a God. You could watch and give us tips too."
"H-Hellastic?"
"And if you really insist, you can join in afterwards." They call me the negotiator. My plan was genius. Created by the mind of a horny teenager, it had no flaws, period.
Hey that rhymed.
"A most tempting offer indeed." Venti seemed to ponder the idea for a bit.
"Hey, if you're uncomfortable with all this, just let me know," I whispered into Amber's ear.
"I-It's fine," Amber answered back.
"But I must refuse," Venti decided. "A man and woman's first time must be special - a moment to remember."
Cheesy as hell. Such a cliche saying. Yet I found myself agreeing.
"For it to be in such a place is most inappropriate."
I think the fact that all 3 of us are butt naked in such a place is more inappropriate. But nevermind that, "How are you going to get your samples?"
"These lips aren't the only ones I can use," Venti smirked, gesturing to her lower half before her finger trailed up to her mouth. "I happen to be quite an expert at using my mouth. Not just for singing."
AN: Catching up on the Archon quests and everything right now. Wow was that a bombshell of a lore drop revealed at the end of the Sumeru Archon Quest. Anyways, thanks to all those who favorited, followed, and reviewed.
