UA Entrance exam: 15 months

Izuku pulled the fridge behind him up to the steps, Mina cheering him on as he dragged it before finally reaching the base of the stairs. He groaned as he leaned back and rested against the fridge, glaring up as he stared at his father who was sitting on it in his hero form.

"Really dad?"

"What? You managed to drag almost 800 pounds of dead weight across sand. I'm impressed!"

Mina snorted and tried to contain her laugh, causing both males to stare at her in confusion. "Calling yourself dead weight huh?"

"Sure is, a layabout when all he does is sit and read most days when he isn't working-ouch." Izuku started in, getting the gist of what Mina was saying before a light chop hit him on the top of the head from Toshinori. Mina danced away as he tried to lightly chop her too, sticking a tongue out at him before moving to the fridge and began to work her quirk in breaking it down to easy to move pieces.

A little less than a quarter of the beach was clean at this point, with still huge piles of junk lying around, but it was much easier to walk between piles now as the teens had cleaned up the spaces between them.

Izuku had to admit, he was rather wary of such a plan that his father put into place, cleaning up the beach as part of a workout routine. But after almost three months, he was beginning to see the results of such a plan put into motion. There was a certain appeal to this type of training as not only was he getting a workout, he was also doing something beneficial for the area as well.

"All right squirts," Toshinori called out as they put the last of the trash in the bed of the pick up, "Get going and clean yourselves up for school, I'll take the trash and head to work."

Both teens nodded to him, turning to jog back home so they could get ready for school, Toshinori chuckled as he got into his truck and began making his way to the junkyard to drop off the latest load of trash.

-Yagi's household-

"Hm… Right there." Mina sighed in relief as Izuku continued to wash Mina's hair, her eyes closed as she enjoyed the sensation before she felt a familiar presence touch her behind. She couldn't help the giggle that escaped her lips before pushing back a little, causing Izuku to grunt and pause in his washing.

"Really Mina?"

"Really Izu?" She shot back, grinning as turned around and hugged him tightly, enjoying the sensation of the lean and well-toned body against her own, along with the little extra package trapped between them as well. Izuku gave a tired sigh, but grin as he held up a pitcher filled with water and dumped it on Mina's head, causing her to pout but not release her hold. It wasn't long before both teens were kissing in the shower and enjoying the warm water caressing their somewhat sore bodies.

"Izuku?" said teen groan but pulled away and answered.

"Yeah mom?"

"Is Mina in there with you?"

"Yes. We are almost done."

There was a moment of silence that rang out, Izuku turning to Mina and holding up a finger to indicate to wait a moment.

"Am I getting grandbabies?"

"No Mama Inko. No grandbabies." Mina answered, giggling when she heard a sad sigh coming from the door. "Is mom looking for me?"

"She wants to know if you are going to train later today so she can prepare dinner or if you are going to get something to eat on the way back." Inko asked, waiting for a response. The teens had finished up a bit of ago and were stepping out of the shower to dry off by the time Mina answered.

"I think I will eat at home today. Tell her to save me some please!" Mina called out as she dried herself off.

The big reveal of them dating, while a big joy for the mothers to learn and squeal about at a later time, had taken a back seat when the parents learned of their children's… joint bathing history. While they had taken plenty of baths together when they were younger, the parents had stopped when they were about seven years old.

At least, the ones they were around for.

It turns out, not really explaining why they couldn't bathe together didn't exactly click in their minds, believing their children were smart enough to understand without the need to explain. The fact that for almost seven years they had taken baths together and no one noticed was rather shocking, but when the kids explained it, it sort of made sense.

They usually only bathe together after they have done some training, first with Disco and later on with Master Grandes and the Masters of Silat and Krav Maga. By the time they got home, usually they went to Izuku's house to clean up and do homework, with no one to watch them when they lived in Izuku's old apartment and later on in their current residence. Kokoro was busying herself with various odd jobs she had picked up to pass the time, due to Tamoyo well paying job keeping a roof over their heads and food on the table was also at work. Inko was normally at work at odd hours so was only home the few times both children were also there. It never crossed her mind that when Izuku was bathing that Mina was also in there with him, she simply assumed that Mina had come by when she was busy cooking a meal or getting ready for work. Toshinori, the latest parent to be included in the group, was busy most of the day and usually came home late so wasn't quite around to catch Izuku and Mina getting off from training.

The four couldn't believe that their children had been pulling it off for that long, all without even meaning to do so.

Tamoyo was the most affected by these revelations, unsure how to even act in the first place. Part of him should throttle Izuku for seeing his daughter in her birthday suit, she was his princess and no man was worth their salt to see her in such a way. But another part of him was glad it was Izuku, because in his eyes, Izuku was the only one worthy of his daughter in any capacity. He was torn between both of these ideals and Toshinori simply explained it away as seeing the boy as a son well before this entire thing even happened.

In the end, both sets of parents took their children aside, explaining what was proper conduct and with great reluctance, allowed them to continue on with what they were doing. Mina and Izuku promised they wouldn't do anything until they were absolutely sure of their relationship and that they will be safe when the time comes to perform the deed. Izuku was absolutely firm in his answer as he didn't want Mina to lose out on her chance to become a hero.

Mina stepped out of the restroom with a towel around her waist and saw Inko holding out some of her clothes, giving the three month pregnant woman a beaming smile. "Thanks, Mama Inko."

"Hurry up dear, school will be starting in an hour and I have breakfast waiting for the two of you." Inko stated, stepping aside so Izuku can get to his room quickly, Mina right behind him as they hurried to get going. She sighed, placing a hand on her cheek as she watched the two of them race off to get ready. "I know they are still young, but the thought of raising a baby and grandbaby sounds exciting."

"Mom! I can hear you!"

"It doesn't stop me from desiring it!" She called out as she walked away, a grin on her face.

-Later that day-

Izuku sighed as he made his way down the street, Mina hummed as she danced a bit around him in a carefree way but understood what Izuku was going through. It was a type of tiredness that one usually associates with a person that has to deal with unruly coworkers.

"Hey! Quirkless!" Izuku hung his head, groaning while Mina paused in mid step to glare at the two well-known bullies of the school. "Hey babe, ditch the loser and come with us."

"Oh wow," Mina placed her hand on her cheeks in fake admiration, "After all these years of being lower than dirt, I suddenly feel the need to ditch my boyfriend to go out with you… Not."

Fingers and Rocky, completely unimaginative names that the duo instance on everyone calling them, and childhood tormentors for Izuku and Mina. Neither bother to try and remember their names either, as they deem them unimportant in the long run. There was a third member when they were children, but he had long since moved away from what they can recall. The only reason they remembered the boy at all was because of his wings, and that he was still learning how to fly with them before he moved.

Both boys leered at her before looking towards Izuku. "What the hell does he have that we can't provide for you Pinky?"

Mina hissed in anger at the nickname. "Do not call me Pinky. And Izuku actually treats people with respect unlike some two-bit thugs like you two."

"What do you want?" Izuku asked in annoyance, looking at the two with a grimace as it was clear they wanted a fight. In the beginning it was more or less even whenever they got into fights, with Izuku taking more losses than wins, however as time went on and Izuku got more training in with the various martial arts, that quickly fell in his favor.

"Heard you are going to UA on recommendation." Finger started, causing both Mina and Izuku to stare at him in confusion.

"Where the hell did you hear that?" Izuku couldn't help but ask, looking more than a little surprise at his words.

"Considering who your old man is, and that your mother also works at the UA, some of the others think it's a sure fire way for someone like you to get into UA." Rocky gave a derisive laugh, stones and rock slowly sliding up his body and coating his arms. "Someone without power couldn't possibly be a hero."

What he and Fingers were expecting was the two to blow them off and attempt to leave, and Rocky was itching to use his quirk on Izuku since he learned how to coat his arms with the surrounding stone. Lets see the quirkless block these hits!

Instead both teens blinked then laughed, causing him to falter a bit.

"What?!"

"Oh, sorry. It's just that… Well, Izuku isn't quirkless." Mina chuckled as she wiped the tears from her eyes. Both stared slackjaw at the girl before looking at Izuku, who only grimaced and looked away.

"But-but Quirkless said-"

"I know what I said, and I always said that I was quirkless, but the thing was I had to go get a check up with Recovery Girl early in the year, and she was looking through my medical files and saw who did my quirk evaluation when I was five." The hard grimace on his face silent the boys questioning look. "You remember Minato Garaki?"

"Uh yeah?" Both teens nodded their heads at his question.

"Well his grandpa gave me the evaluation," Izuku shook his head, scowling at remembering the old man telling him to 'give it up' on being a hero. "He quit the hospital where I had done my evaluation a couple of years afterwards. Turns out he was doing such a shit job of being a doctor, so he left. Leaving the hospital holding the reins of his poor quality bedside manners, it was also the reason why Minato left too, too many people were out for his grandpa's head."

"B-bullshit!" Finger pointed at him, "If that's true, then what's your quirk then?!"

"No idea, I am not under enough physical stress to activate it yet." Izuku shrugged, causing both teens to pale at his words.

Stress-activated quirks were rare, but usually ended up in the category of powerful quirks that did a lot of damage when they were fully activated. It was common knowledge that such quirks were known to do a lot of damage before being reeled in.

"You can ask Recovery Girl herself, she usually comes by the house to check up on me. Dad said he wants to see if All Might can help out, since from what he said that All Might had a similar problem when growing up." Izuku offered, seeing both boys swallow nervously before shaking their heads. The stone that was coating Rocky's fist fell away and both boys looked at one another before they turned to leave.

"The offer still stands, Ashido."

"I'm fine, thanks." She answered sarcastically, wrapping an arm around Izuku and holding him close.

"Lucky dog." Finger mumbled as he kicked a rock before turning to leave, lightly elbowing Rocky to follow. "Whatever, get your quirk into gear already Midoriya."

"It's Yagi now." Izuku corrected, watching as the teens left without another word. He shook his head and the couple turned to continue on their way to the Gunhead Agency. "You think they bought it?"

"Knowing those two, definitely." Mina gave him a sly smirk. "It won't be long before the entire school knows."

"I guess this works out though, I was really unsure how to go about it." Izuku commented as he scratched his chin in thought.

The plan to spread Izuku's misdiagnoses, using the actual convenient scapegoat that was Dr Garaki, had worked out wonderfully. Anyone that actually tried to disprove Izuku's claim would see that there were indeed several reports and lawsuits against Dr Garaki for such a thing, with the man himself all but recusing himself from the public eye for the past five or so years. Recovery Girl agreed to field any questions about Izuku's quirk if anyone came asking about it, and in less than a year Izuku's quirk would finally 'manifest', thus any possible questions would fall wayside.

Izuku was quite scared how Uncle Nighteye came up with such a plan to explain Izuku's quirk manifesting, making Izuku question how long the man had been sitting on it before executing it as they are doing now.

"Huh, now that I think about it. I wonder what Uncle Nighteye is doing?" Izuku asked out loud, causing Mina to hum in thought as well, they haven't seen him for awhile now that she thought about it.

-Nighteye's office-

"This is troubling, Nighteye. The HPSC is asking you to look into this Yakuza branch?" All Might asked as he looked over the file.

"It's a long term mission, All Might." Nighteye groaned a bit as he rubbed his head, looking as the pale blue girl quietly served the two heroes tea, giving him a beaming smile. "Thank you, Bubble Girl."

"Of course, Sir!" She said happily, bouncing a bit before leaving the two heroes alone with their thoughts. Both heroes took sip of their tea in respectful silence before All Might spoke.

"She likes you."

"I should hope so, I am her boss."

"You know I don't mean it that way."

"I… I know." Nighteye sighed, turning back to look through the window to see the young woman cheerily work on her report, looking up and glancing towards him before realizing he was staring at her and causing her face to flush and go back to her report.

The relationship he had with Disco didn't really turn many heads, he was barely thirty-two when he started dating Disco and she was just hitting twenty-six when she was killed. Now he was thirty-six and the young sidekick was just about to hit nineteen in a few more months.

"It's not proper." he simply stated, draining the last of the tea before focusing on the file. "Not yet.. Maybe… maybe later."

"I understand." All Might muttered before looking back at the file. "The Shie Hassaikai… Eight Precepts of Death in English… I recall taking down a few Yakuza in my early days and forcing them into jail or into the shadows. Why send you to them?"

"They have been the main manufacturers of Trigger, and unfortunately we haven't been able to stamp out the processing areas or even connect them to the main family. But that isn't the main problem that the HPSC is having. There has been a shift of power recently with them, the Boss of the group has fallen ill and a new Head has taken over."

All Might flipped the folder and took a look at the photo of a young man wearing a Plague Doctor's Mask, frowning as he read the file on what the HPSC had on him. "Kind of light on the information, especially from the Hero Commission."

"Apparently, Kai Chisaki is very careful with what he does. Always has an alibi on hand whenever his group gets into trouble with the local PD. He is now in control of the Shie Hassaikai and they have been going to ground even further than before, and that is making the Commission even more worried especially with all the medical equipment they have been ordering through legal means."

"Hmm…" All Might looked through the list of equipment that had been ordered and couldn't help but point out the obvious, "This doesn't look like equipment needed to take care of a sick elder, this looks more along the lines of surgeries being done. Has there been fights that have been linked to the group in any way?"

"Not ones that have been called in, no." Nighteye adjusted his glasses before looking at All Might, "There is also something else as well."

All Might had gotten to the next page, and his frown deeper even further. "Children's toys?"

"Yes, a bunch of them, clothes, items that would normally care for a child. The problem is that there had been no sign of a child on the main grounds and no one had seen one coming or going either. There had been rumor that the Boss had a granddaughter, but no one had ever brought up proof before." Nighteye quietly stated, looking at All Might with a look of worry. "I don't know how to approach this. Any hero that tries to make their way to any of the group and there is a confrontation that usually falls on the side of the Yakuza in the eyes of the law. While I am fully onboard smashing our way in and getting the proof, it would end poorly if we find nothing."

"So what are you thinking?"

"I'm thinking that the HPSC is using me as bait to get Chisaki to make a mistake, get my name tarnished if I make a mistake, or I get lucky and solve the problem for them and they can tout my accomplishment as their own." Nighteye commented dryly, causing All Might to chuckle.

"Sounds like the bastards. Still, if you need the big guns, you can call on me to help." All Might stood up, Nighteye giving him a grin before going back to his paperwork. "It's good to see your agency growing, Nighteye. Keep up the good work!"

"Of course. I wish I could come to tonight's dinner but I am getting swamped with paperwork, so if you can apologize to Kokoro and Inko for me?"

"Of course!" All Might gently slapped the back of Nighteye before leaving the office, Bubble Girl immediately standing to escort him from the building with gusto. As they entered the lobby though, that bubbly personality seemed to melt away while she bit her lip and looked to All Might with a question.

"All Might sir?"

"Hmm? Yes, Bubble Girl?"

"I… I don't know if this is proper to ask of you this… But…" She seems to wilt before mustering up the courage to speak. "Do you think… I have a chance… With Sir?"

All Might raised an eyebrow at her, crossing his arms as he thought about what to say, this of course caused Bubble Girl to begin explaining rapidly. "I-I know of Disco and how close they were before she died, and I actually admire her too! But I want Sir to be happy and well he gave me a chance as an intern when he first started his agency. I want him to be happy and I hope that I can give him something to strive for. I-I know I'm much younger than him and probably not as experienced in such things, but I can learn-eep!"

She covered her mouth, cheeks red when she realized what she had said out loud to the Number One Hero, she heard a deep rumble of chuckles escaping the man as he struggled to breath in keeping his laughter down to a minimum.

"Bubble Girl, I believe you are on the right track. Yes, losing Disco was hard on Nighteye and myself. What few friends we have helped him the best we could and he is getting better. If you keep up your drive to impress him, I do believe you might have a chance. Never lose heart Bubble Girl. Always remember that Disco will have a place in his heart, no matter how the years turn, but I know Disco will kick his butt if he tries to turn into a crotchety old man without a love life." All Might gently patted the giggling young woman's shoulder.

"Thanks All Might." She gave him a beaming smile.

"No problem! Now then! I have places to be, people to save, villains to punch! Off I go!" All Might laughed as he leaped away, his laughter echoing out as people pointed at him jumping away with his incredible strength. Bubble Girl gave a sad smile as she thought on his words, before making her way back to her desk, pausing a bit before heading to her boss's office.

"Sir? Do you need anything else?" She asked after knocking on the door to gain his attention.

"Hmm… No, I'm-" He cut himself off, apparently thinking about something before giving her a small smile. "Actually, I am kind of hungry. Can you order us some take-out? We can use the break anyways."

Bubble Girl gave him a bright smile at his words. "Of course, Sir."

UA Entrance Exam: 12 months

All Might Hero Time: 6 hours

-UA Examination Room-

Toshinori sighed as Recovery Girl and his wife gave him a worried look, sitting on an exam table in UA. "Bad?"

"Not as bad as it could be, but you are pushing yourself." Recovery Girl admonished as she gave him a pamphlet on breathing exercises. "I think it might be best to take up some meditation before going out, also take breaks as well so you can extend your time limit. Do try to relax Toshinori, you are going to burn out if you try to keep this same pace. The only reason you lost an hour is because of that desire to push further. You can't do that anymore, not without repercussions."

Inko had walked up to him and handed him a glass of water, which he smiled and took a gulp, Inko giving a small gasp as her hand went to her growing tummy. "Oh yes, papa is here little one. Yes he is a very silly hero right now."

Toshinori had quietly placed a hand on it, feeling the slight kick of his child against his palm. For a long moment, Toshinori only sat there and enjoyed the sensation before realizing his wife was wiping his cheek. "Inko?"

"You were crying." Inko said with a tearful smile of her own. "And if you cry, I start crying."

"And my examination room will become a pool." Recovery Girl stated, causing Inko to flush a little at her words. She gave a small laugh before nodding her head towards Toshinori, "Well, are you going to tell him?"

"Tell me what?"

"Our baby." Inko started, blushing softly before giving him a warm smile. "It's going to be a girl."

Toshinori gave a bright smile and carefully embraced his wife and unborn child, enjoying the warmth she gave off as he held her. "So we are getting a princess huh? What name-"

"Makoda." Inko declared confidently, the baby kicking as if in approval at the declaration. "She will be Makoda Yagi…"

Toshinori gave her a big grin before gently patting the tummy. "Yes. Makoda. A strong name. A good name. I wish you could meet your namesake, child. She was the life of the party. She saved your papa you know. So I know you will be strong too."

Inko and Toshinori ended up kissing one another for a while before they were interrupted by a boy literally falling through the roof of the examination, bare as the day he was born, onto one of the beds next to Toshinori. He looked up to see three adults staring at him, with the larger blonde glaring at him for his undressed state. He quickly covered himself with the spare blanket and began to apologize profusely to them.

"So sorry. Didn't mean to drop in, hahaha!" He laughed as he scratched the back of his head.

"Oh my god, he is just like Mirai." Inko muttered to herself. A few moments later a girl with blue hair carrying clothes rushed in and gave a sigh of relief before handing him his clothes.

"Mirio you fell asleep in class!" The girl chided him, she began to launch into a wild amount of questions with the boy laughing and gently pushing her towards the door while he put on his clothes.

Recovery chuckled as she handed Inko a gummy to chew on as she watched the pair leave. "It's good to see the girl smiling, she was quite cold and distant for a while. But it appears the boys she was hanging out with had brought out that spark in her."

Inko on the other hand was staring at the boy before looking at Toshinori, then back at the door with a frown. "Toshi?"

"Hmm? Yes?"

"Have you been with another woman before me?" Inko asked, the man actually spluttered a bit of blood at her question with a confused look. "The boy looks an awful lot like you."

Recovery Girl cackled as Toshinori tried to placate his wife that, no, he did not have a secret love child with a mystery woman before he met her.

End of Chapter

A/N: yes. Another chapter. Shorter one too. But I wanted to clear up some air before moving on to the next one which will be sometime next week… Hopefully. Some explanation and how some things are changing. Hopefully everyone enjoys this massive rush of chapters and I hope I can start working on the final bits before the exams and fully cement Izuku's work on OfA.

Thanks for reading, please comment as they will give me the drive to go forward
