I figured the best way to leave this story would be to have it open ended in the sense that Hope is still a young adult finding herself and the same with Lizzie. I wanted to write more scenes with Hope interacting with Hayley and Freya since they are her moms practically since Klaus was off doing whatever and trying to not bring the Hollow near Hope. I just wasn't sure how to write scenes or moments for Freya to be one on one with Hope and figured that Hayley would and should be closer to Hope since Hope is Hayley's biological kid. I hinted at Ben and Jed possibly getting together in the future, and Finch with Josie at least for a time. I think Josie still liking Penelope works pretty well for my story so them being endgame isn't too far of a stretch. I hope I gave a somewhat satisfying end to all the characters. I didn't write much in the way of Alaric interacting with the twins much because it's heavily hinted in canon that Alaric was focused on the school, Hope or drinking. I also found it would be funner if Caroline was the one to get Hope to admit that Lizzie and her had sex than if it were Alaric. Side note I accidently wrote Alaric's nickname as Rick instead of Ric in a few chapters oops. Speaking of messing up names Dana Lillien and Connor I miss spelled Dana's name twice in one chapter. I think I can't remember the exact chapter though. As for Connor apparently he has no last name which is not surprising because he was a minor character on the show that was killed off by the giant spider in season 1. Spoilers for season 4 ending I also wanted to call out just how bad of a headmaster Alaric was and have Caroline take over the school as HeadMistress similar to what happened in canon. Also the age thing did kind of confuse me in the sense that both Josie and Lizzie are canonically 2 years younger than Hope so how were they in the same classes? I just figured that either the twins were super smart or Hope had to be held back in the sense that monsters or other bad guys kept interrupting her schooling. I tried to keep faithful to canon spells and other things within the lore of the Vampire Diaries, the Originals and Legacies tv show. This was the first time I wrote for any of the Vampire Diaries, the Originals and Legacies tv shows and I hope it came out okay. All logic aside when it comes to dicesting the tv show I hope you enjoyed the story. This is by far the longest and biggest fanfiction story that I have ever written in terms of word count total alone. Writing this was a challenge since most of the things I have written in the past have come off as almost script writing for a play. I don't intend for that effect but I am unsure how else to write. Who knows I might make a sequel to this with a flash forward in time Hope having had the chance to explore in college and Lizzie having graduated from highschool. I wanted to write more scenes with Hope interacting with Hayley and Freya since they are her moms practically since Klaus was off doing whatever and trying to not bring the Hollow near Hope. I just wasn't sure how to write scenes or moments for Freya to be one on one with Hope and figured that Hayley would and should be closer to Hope since Hope is Hayley's biological kid. I hinted at Ben and Jed possibly getting together in the future, and Finch with Josie at least for a time. I think Josie still liking Penelope works pretty well for my story so them being endgame isn't too far of a stretch. I hope I gave a somewhat satisfying end to all the characters. I didn't write much in the way of Alaric interacting with the twins much because it's heavily hinted in canon that Alaric was focused on the school, Hope or drinking. I also found it would be funner if Caroline was the one to get Hope to admit that Lizzie and her had sex than if it were Alaric. Side note I accidently wrote Alaric's nickname as Rick instead of Ric in a few chapters oops. Speaking of messing up names Dana Lillien and Connor I miss spelled Dana's name twice in one chapter. I think I can't remember the exact chapter though. As for Connor apparently he has no last name which is not surprising because he was a minor character on the show that was killed off by the giant spider in season 1. Spoilers for season 4 ending I also wanted to call out just how bad of a headmaster Alaric was and have Caroline take over the school as HeadMistress similar to what happened in canon. Also the age thing did kind of confuse me in the sense that both Josie and Lizzie are canonically 2 years younger than Hope so how were they in the same classes? I just figured that either the twins were super smart or Hope had to be held back in the sense that monsters or other bad guys kept interrupting her schooling. I tried to keep faithful to canon spells and other things within the lore of the Vampire Diaries, the Originals and Legacies tv show. This was the first time I wrote for any of the Vampire Diaries, the Originals and Legacies tv shows and I hope it came out okay. All logic aside when it comes to dicesting the tv show I hope you enjoyed the story. This is by far the longest and biggest fanfiction story that I have ever written in terms of word count total alone. Writing this was a challenge since most of the things I have written in the past have come off as almost script writing for a play. I don't intend for that effect but I am unsure how else to write. Who knows I might make a sequel to this with a flash forward in time Hope having had the chance to explore in college and Lizzie having graduated from highschool.
