Claws glinted
Teeth bared
A nasty snarl on his face
It was Clawface!
I ruffled my fur
I unsheathed my claws
And I shouted
"You brute, stay away from these kits!"
But Clawface ignored me
He dragged me aside
His paw pressed down on my neck
I struggled for breath
To shout for help
But I could only keep quiet
And watch innocent kits
Kits being torn from their mothers'
I see Rosetail being dragged from the nursery
Blackfoot is carrying her
Suddenly, Clawface bites my neck
I taste my own blood pooling around me
My paws flail
I let out a wail
But no help comes
My vision gets foggy
I glimpse Redtail standing beside me
"Come, sister," he meows
I then stand up and look at my battered body
I am now a spirit of StarClan
But then, a thought hits me:
Firepaw!
I love him
He loves me
He will miss me
But it is my time
I brush against Redtail's cheek
And I run into the sky with my littermate
"Fire will save the Clan,"
