So I haven't updated shit in the longest time, probably a year or so, but it's been busy as hell and I haven't had motivation so I'm a bad person. But I have gotten back into this story so I'm hoping that people keep me motivated to write it. Enjoy!

"Approaching Earth's atmosphere now."

"Adjusting gravitational fields."

"Setting oxygen levels to high."

"This planet is puny."

The group of aliens stopped their standard check-up procedures to glance at the redheaded female who had spoke up.

"What?" Ember asked as she glared at everyone.

"That will just make it so much easier to find Roxas." Axel, her twin brother stated.

"And hopefully not cause any disturbances." Terra added.

"Aw, no fun. Humans are so cute though." Demyx whined.

"We're here for one thing and one thing alone, not to have fun." His mate Zexion scolded.

"Axel! Come check this out!" Xion called from the cockpit of their spaceship.

The redhead stepped over to her with Terra right behind him.

"We're tracking an Earth vehicle that has locked in on Roxas' location." Namine, the ravenette girl's mate explained.

"So we've got competition then huh? Why don't we go say hello." Axel said with a smirk.

"So, what do you think this alien is like?" Aqua asked.

Ven shrugged. "Who knows? As long as it's a nice one and not a hostile one I really don't think we have to worry."

"These are aliens we're talking about though. Bets are they're way more advanced than us, and we could be in for a war whether we do this or not." Riku reminded them.

The jet suddenly jolted and rocked and all three agents started, jumping up and running over to the others.

"What happened!?" Serah asked.

"Something's attacking us! I'm going to have to land!" Lightning reported.

Another hit shook the jet and everyone stumbled, Serah falling over and Sora flying into the wall.

"Make it quick!" Aqua called.

Lightning dove down, maneuvering to make a landing, and doing so relatively smoothly, in the middle of a forest clearing. Everyone exited the jet just as another ship, this one very oddly shaped in a circular form, landed next to it.

Creatures with grey skin exited the ship and all of the humans' eyes widened.

"Aliens, great." Hayner remarked.

Cloud was already switching off the safety on the gun he had drawn and Lightning had her hand on the sword at her hip. Ven's hand unconsciously moved to his own gun, his fingers wrapping around the handle.

The aliens scanned the group of humans and the second the spiky redhead's eyes landed on Ven, they widened.

"Roxas?" He asked in disbelief.

The blond scrunched up his nose in confusion. "Huh?"

"Well, I guess this means we don't have to go through a bunch of humans to rescue him like you thought." The mullet-haired blond alien next to him said.

"Perfect." The redhead grinned, taking a step forward.

Cloud's gun was automatically up and aimed at the alien. "Don't move."

The alien rolled his eyes as if he was bored and suddenly all of the aliens were gone. In mere seconds, they were in front of the humans, and the male brunette one had disarmed Cloud while the redheaded female knocked Lightning's sword away. The other humans were quickly restrained and then the apparent leader of them appeared in front of Ven.

"Alright, time to go Roxas." The redhead said, grabbing the boy's arm and beginning to drag him back to the spaceship.

Ven stumbled from the strength of the alien and nearly fell. "Whoa! Wait a minute! I'm not Roxas!"

The alien abruptly stopped, and the blond crashed into him. He turned around to face the boy and studied him. "But you look just like him, except human. If he shifted though you two would be twins."

"Look alien, that's not your friend. We're heading to a secret base in California to save him." Cloud stated.

"Okay, the name's Axel, not 'alien', got it memorized?" The redhead said.

"Why are you trying to rescue Roxas when others of your kind have detained him?" A short slate haired alien asked.

"We don't want a war." Aqua said simply.

Axel let go of the blond. "So we agree on something then. How about we help each other out in that case?"

"Okay, we'll help you save this 'Roxas' and then you leave peacefully." Lightning said.

"Deal." Axel said.

The alien spaceship had cloaking capabilities so for the sake of stealth the humans joined the others in that. The base was hidden underground but the location was easy for the aliens to track with their technology. Xion expertly piloted the ship and landed not far from the base's secret entrance.

Everyone exited the ship and began to search for the way in. Ven was crouched low to the ground, hands sifting through the dirt in hopes of finding a lever or something equally promising. His fingers skimmed metal and he quickly uncovered a latch, pulling on it.

A loud hissing sound startled everyone and a hatch opened up in the ground, revealing a passageway. The blond grinned and faced his fellow spies and the aliens. "Found it."

"Alright, let's get in and get out." Axel said quickly, passing Ven as he entered the underground lab. The other aliens quickly followed and then the humans trailed after them.

"This place is going to be huge, how are we going to find your friend?" Aqua questioned.

"Especially without getting caught ourselves." Hayner mumbled.

"Telepathic connection. I'm sure you humans know something of that and I don't have to explain it." Zexion supplied.

"We're good, thanks." Lightning said somewhat snappily.

Ven and the brunette alien, Terra, had fallen behind the rest of the group. The human glanced at the other, a million questions running through his mind. "So, I really look like this 'Roxas' huh?"

Terra looked at him and nodded. "Like a twin. Not in alien form one hundred percent but definitely when he shifts."

"So you can shift and you have telepathy. What else?"

The brunette grinned. "You'll see."

Ven frowned, feeling antsy with all that he wanted to know. He decided to go for something that the alien might actually answer. "What planet are you from anyways? I'm guessing it's not Mars because there isn't anything there."

"A planet called Kingdom Hearts. We're known as Nobodies."

Ven crinkled his nose at the strange names but accepted it. He assumed the aliens had their own language and that Terra was just translating the English to him.

"Hey General Terra, wanna stop flirting and pay attention?" Axel snapped from up ahead, obviously having overheard them.

Ven blushed slightly. Okay, sure, Terra was very attractive for an alien, but still, the Nobodies were only here to save their friend and then they would be gone and Ven would never see them again.

"Ignore him, he's just pissy because he and Roxas are together." Terra told the blond.

"Together, together?" Ven checked, somewhat surprised.

"Nobodies are much more advanced than humans. We accept any and all relationships regardless of age, gender, you know." The brunette explained.

Ven nodded, and then another thing Axel had said clicked in his head. "General?"

The alien grinned and winked at him. "You know it."

The blond didn't have any more time to question him, as Axel waved the group to a stop and peered around a corner. Voices echoed through the halls and Zexion quickly motioned for everyone to go back and take another path. They began to run quickly down the metal corridors, taking random turns in attempts to avoid anyone, before they finally came to a door in front of which Axel pulled to an abrupt stop, making Hayner crash into him.

Ven held in a laugh at the glare Axel gave him but Sora and Serah failed at containing theirs. Cloud shushed them and the redhead gave a nod to Terra. The brunette turned to the door and held out his arm, closing his hand into a fist. The door shook and then crumpled inwards on itself.

Ven's mouth fell open in shock and he was pretty sure my fellow agents were wearing similar expressions. Terra cleared his throat and smirked at everyone's shock, nodding his head towards the room. They all piled in after Axel, who was in an eager rush.

"How did you do that?" Ven asked the brunette.

"I can control earth, and since metal is a property of it I can control metal as well." He explained.

"Can every Nobody do that?"

"Nobodies have different elements. Axel, for example, has fire."

The blond spy nodded in understanding. That was really cool; what couldn't these aliens do?

Everyone was looking around the room, except for Axel who had immediately made his way over to a large containment tube holding another unconscious Nobody who, shockingly, did still look a great deal like Ven even with his alien features..

Ven joined him and stared at the unconscious alien. "So, this is Roxas huh?"

"Yeah, we need to get him out of here." The redhead stated.

"Ven, maybe you can crack this." Lightning called to her son. She was over at the main computer, trying to hack into it and free the alien prince. He joined her and easily gained access, tinkering around until he was able to open the containment tube.

Roxas fell straight into Axel's waiting arms and the redhead levered the blond to the ground, doing a quick checkover of him. Namine joined him and they seemed to silently communicate before they both stood again, the prince in the tall alien's arms.

"Alright, let's get out of here before we're discovered." Ember said.

Cloud went over to the door and did a short assessment, dubbing the way clear and motioning for it to run. Of course, the tricky part now would be finding the way back out.

"Intruders! All of you, freeze!"

A gunshot echoed through the hall and Xion yelped as it grazed by her. The group turned a corner and only then did they stop, because they were faced with about two dozen armed guards. Ven glanced at Terra, who clenched his fists. Axel's face was set. Cloud had drawn his gun, Lightning her sword, and Riku had his hand on the revolver in his belt.

Ven's hand unconsciously moved to the dagger on his own belt. He knew this battle was about to get messy.
