Traveling with Sesshoumaru required a certain patience that Kagome had recently found herself lacking. He did not stop, and he walked with a very sophisticated air about him, however, it was at a fast pace. How he managed to stay so… perfect… was beyond her. By the time that afternoon hit, she wanted nothing more than to yank his perfect silver hair out. It was ridiculous that he had managed to stay so untouched by the heat. Not that she was overly affected by it, but more so than he had been.
Within the next few hours, Kagome couldn't do it anymore, "Sesshoumaru-sama, I'm sorry to be a burden, however, I need water. It will only tak-"
"We do not stop until nightfall."
Huffing, Kagome stopped in her tracks, raising her head defiantly, "I refuse to go any further until we take a break. We have made sufficient distance from the village; three times as far as any human would have been able to travel by foot in one day. What difference will a few minutes make?"
Sesshoumaru looked back at her, growling at her defiant stance. Kagome knew that soon his beast would be demanding her submission, but she refused to back down, "Woman, you will follow this Sesshoumaru, or you will regret it. I do not repeat myself."
Turning away from her he began walking again, when her voice reached his ears, "No."
When his eyes turned her way again, Kagome took a breath, and met his gaze. "I am fully capable of taking care of myself. If you wait a mome-"
When Sesshoumaru disappeared from right in front of her, she took a moment to search her surroundings. Seconds later she was turning to parry his attack. His sword cut down quickly, and when blocked by hers, he wasted no time in trying to catch her once again. She blocked several more before she stumbled. However, she used the opportunity to her advantage, and when he tried to pin her like she thought he would, she used his weight against him, flipping him and pinning him to the ground. Her claws lay against his throat lightly, but she was tense, knowing that she had overcome him too easily. She leaned down, her nose almost touching his, "Do you yield?"
Sesshoumaru bared his fangs at her in a very inu-like way, "No."
In moments the tables were turned, and she was flipped under him. She struggled against his hold, her arms pinned by one of his hands above her head, and her legs pinned by his. She growled and snapped at him, fangs bared. She was unaccustomed to being treated in this manner, thus being shown who the Alpha was by the taiyoukai was not appealing to her or her beast. Sesshoumaru let out a feral snarl that quieted Kagome in seconds; however, her fangs were still bared. It seemed his beast was demanding her submission. Kagome growled in frustration, but bared her throat to him in a show of vulnerability, allowing Sesshoumaru's beast to be appeased.
