Ohiyo! I swear I didn't die and resurrect and then die again! I was just really busy, honey. Like I couldn't even deal, but as I did in a different story that I just updated, I promise to try and update all my stories whenever I have time.

Disclaimer: if I owned Naruto, Shino wouldn't be an outcast because of his bugs and his aloof behavior.

I felt something tickle my nose. My nose twitched trying to get rid of the tickling sensation, but I sneezed instead, my squeaky sneeze echoing out throughout my room of sleeping new friends.

I started to slap the tip of my nose vigorously and noticed a bug flying around me. I screamed, loudly, causing everyone in the room to shoot up, startled. "What's wrong?" TenTen asked quickly, pulling out a sharp thing.

"There's a bug," I cried, hiding my head in my lap.

Kiba barked out a laugh, slapping Shino on the back. "God, Shino, are you trying to give the girl a heart attack?" he asked, jokingly.

Shino turned to him, saying, "My kikaichu can't stay inside of me forever. They need to get out and stretch their wings."

"Get it away from me!" I cried, jumping behind Lee. "Shino, it's following me! Get it away!"

Kiba sighed and stood up, stepping over at least four people to get over to me. Then…he slapped the bug in between his hands, killing it, and wiped the bug guts on his pants. "There," he said. "Taken care of."

When he took his seat next to Shino, he was getting a bone chilling glare. "What?" Kiba asked innocently.

"You killed one of my bugs," Shino said, a dark aura around him.

"Yeah, but you have, like, a million others, so it's alright, right?"

"That's like me asking you if it's alright, if I killed your dog," Shino said. "'Oh, sorry, but there are plenty of dogs in the world. So it's okay, right?'"

"That's different," Kiba insisted.

"I don't see the difference."

"Bugs are creepy," Kiba shrugged. "Dogs aren't."

"I think dogs are creepy," I said, looking over at them. "Sorry I freaked out, Shino. I told you I would be shocked the first time I saw them. And…it touched me."

"I think that was more than just shocked," TenTen deadpanned.

"Will you forgive me, please?" I asked, pouting.

"You didn't kill my bugs," he replied simply.

"But it was my fault its dead," I said.

"I don't want to talk about this anymore," Shino said, laying back down and covering his head with my favorite blanket.

I frowned, knowing he was upset, and got up to walk out the room. I went to my special room, and picked up a radioactive spider and put it into a cage.

After making sure it was secure and couldn't get out to bite someone, I started back to my room, checking the time on the wall clock as I passed it. I opened the door, walking in, and noticed that Shino was still sulking under the covers.

"I'm not sulking," he muttered, gaining my attention.

"What?"

Kiba laughed. "You said 'I opened the door, walking in, and noticed that Shino was still sulking under the covers.'"

"Oh…out loud?" I asked.

"Oh, yeah~" he replied, nodding.

"I have to stop doing that," I muttered, walking over to the lump that was Shino, and poked him slowly.

He peeled the covers away from his face and glanced at me, well, I think he glanced at me because he was still wearing his sunglasses, but other than that, he didn't respond to me. So I kept poking him.

"Are you going to stop?" he asked.

"Will you respond?" I retorted, adding one hard poke.

"Is there something you want?"

I held out the cage, trying to give it to him. Shino raised an eyebrow, getting a closer look at the spider. "This arachnid is a peculiar fluorescent ice blue color," he noted. "It could be poisonous."

"No, it's the radioactive spider that bit me," I replied.

"How'd you get it?" Kiba asked, staring at it with wide eyes.

"Well…" I trailed off, cueing a flashback.

*Flashback*

"Margaret, can you go inspect the status of the spiders?" Dr. Hollingsworth asked, looking over some papers.

"It's Margi," I replied, scowling, earning a smirk from him. "And sure, can I have a form?"

He handed me one, recording something that was going on with his experiment. I took the piece of paper from him and a pen from his desk before making my way to the Spider Room, as I called it. I began checking the temperature and spider count, recording the numbers in their respective places on the paper.

I heard a loud banging noise from inside the room, which startled me, and made me think that one of the doctors had gone inside and had gotten hurt. I rushed in, after entering the passcode.

The door closed behind me. I spun around, and noticed no one else was in here. It was just me and exactly two million-four-hundred-seventy-nine-thousand-nine-hu ndred-eighty-six spiders.

"Oh…Kay…" I sang, turning around to leave the room, but a single spider dangled from a web right in front of me. The only thing between the exit and me. So I did what any normal person would.

I started to whimper and whine, tears pooling in my eyes, as I started to swat at it to make it go away. Miss…miss…miss…miss...miss-oh, wait, no, I hit, or it hit me. With its fangs. I yelped, shaking my hand vigorously to get it off, but it wouldn't let go.

I slammed it against the door that was miraculously clear of spiders, my heart racing as I screamed, "Damn you, Shino! This is going up your ass!"

*Flashback Interruption*

"Wait, what?" Kiba interrupted.

I giggled, shoving Shino's arm slightly. "Just kidding," I laughed. "I didn't know you then. I didn't say anything. Anyways…"

*Resume Flashback*

The spider, stunned, fell limp in my hand and I threw it in one of the standby cages on the ground, quickly exiting the room, and made my way to my work locker and shoved the spider in. "You're name is Frank," I whispered to him before closing the door to my locker, making sure it locked.

With that I went back over to the spider room to finish recording data.

*End Flashback*

"So there you go," I finished.

"And why are you giving it to me?" Shino asked curiously, picking up the cage as he continued to inspect the spider.

"Because your bug's dead, and I really don't want this in the house anymore. Spider bond or no spider bond."

"So this is the spider that bit you?" TenTen asked.

"Indeed, his venom does flow through my veins," I explained, nodding.

"And you decided to keep it!" lee exclaimed. "That is such a youthful thing to do, Margi-Chan!"

I sweatdropped, turning back to Shino, nudging him gently. "His name is Frank," I told him.

"You said that in your story," he replied, opening the cage and letting the spider crawl onto his hand. He began talking to the spider, and it seemed the spider talked back because Shino would pause and nod before responding.

"You're welcome," I mumbled, pouting.

Kiba came over, patting me on the back. "Don't take it personally," he noted. "Shino would rather hang out with a bunch of bugs than real people."

"Actually, not all insects are bugs, and spiders aren't even insects. They're arachnids."

"They're all creepy and crawly," Kiba and I said in unison. "Hey! Stop saying what I'm saying! I'm serious! Stop it! STOP IT!"

"Shino!" I whined. "Make him stop."

"Your spider said his name isn't Frank, but James," Shino said, turning away from the spider. "He wanted you to know."

"But…but…" I whimpered. "Kiba keeps mocking me! Make him stop."

"Kiba's an idiot," Shino said. "You can ignore him."

I pouted. "No help," I muttered, exiting the room. "Too early. Ignores me for a bug."

"Spiders aren't bugs-" Shino started.

"Yeah yeah, they're arachnids!" I shouted back, going downstairs to get some breakfast.

Phew, that took a lot out of me. So like I said up there, I promise to do better on updating, I swear.

Anyways, loves and hugs, minions.

Yours psychotically,

Vee
