Epilogue
Tali and David were currently knocking on Nicole and Sarah's apartment.
"I can't wait to watch Jurassic Park!" Tali grinned, Jurassic Park was her favorite movie of all time. David knocked on the door again but still no answer, the boyfriend and girlfriend looked at each other before David retrieved the spare key that the two who it belonged to thought was in a safe place. David unlocked the door, they walked in and all was quiet except for the tv that was still going with BBC's Sherlock.
"Hey guys, we're here!" Tali called, the apartment was completely empty. They searched all the rooms but there was no sign of their friends.
"What the heck, we were just down the hall." Tali said, they had left as soon as the text that read 'Movie marathon starting with Jurassic Park' had come through.
David had peeked into Sarah's bedroom and was about to close the door when he heard a muffled clunk. Curious David opened the door wider and saw something gold glinting out from behind Sarah's closet door.
"Ooh what's that?" Tali asked popping up behind David and standing on her toes to see over David's shoulder, he moved then followed slower as she raced past him to pick up the object.
"What the-" Tali muttered to herself, the object was infact a glove like thing. It was gold and had six gems on it, there was a note attached to it. Ripping it off, Tali read,
"Dear Tali and David,
Chilly here, if you're reading this then me and Ember assume that it didn't end up in Canada. So here's the situation, remember when I told you that I had fallen into a portal to the avenger's universe and you dismissed it as brain damage? Well, that's where me, Ember, and Jayfeather are. What you're holding now is the Infinity Gauntlet, in this universe it's insanely powerful and was our only ride home, but due to a problem with the universes, we can't come back or risk destroying both. We are assuming that because magic and stuff doesn't work in your universe, that the Infinity Gauntlet will be rendered useless. But don't try anything just incase, just get rid of it, throw it away or bury it. We don't care.
That's all we have to say, I know this must seem crazy or like we've been kidnapped but don't worry, we're fine. We're going to miss you and tell everyone that we're sorry, (Except that bitch Kristina, I still hate her.) so long you guys, it's been fun. Good bye.
~ Chilly + Ember + Jayfeather ~
P.S - Ember says that she and Vali make a cuter couple than you two.
P.P.S - I SO AGREE.
Tali looked at David who took the note from her and reread it and then just handed it back.
"So what that's it!? They think they can just leave town and leave this stupid note as an excuse? Ohmygod what if they've been kidnapped? It says they haven't but what if they have?" Tali said frantically, "We should call the cops! We-"
"Tali," David said, taking the gauntlet from her. "I don't think the cops will find them." David assumed, taking in the fact that the two had taken nothing with them, they clearly did not want to be found wherever they were.
Tali sighed, "You're probably right, but still, they didn't have to make up some lie about it. And who the hell is Vali?"
"Let's go Tali," David offered his hand and Tali held it.
"I really wanted to watch Jurassic Park." Tali grumbled, David smiled softly.
"How about after we bury this?" David offered, Tali perked up and the two left their friend's place. David thinking about where to bury the gauntlet and what to do with their friend's stuff in the apartment. Tali thought about Jurassic Park and what to tell everyone about what happened to their friends.

*Few hours before New Years*
Viper tossed the newspaper in the fireplace, it quickly burned. It depicted the battle that had happened a week ago, the thing that had upset her was that HYDRA was made out to look like heros. The Daily Bugle had said that HYDRA was turning over a new leaf because they helped fight the chitauri with SHIELD. Viper growled as the paper burned, she stood up and left.
HYDRA was going to burn that place down.

*Still a while until New Years*
Amora sat outside her apartment, she was drinking tea and reading the mortal's news paper. Because of a spell she had placed, her apartment had not been touch by the chaos of the battle, though not the same could be said for the rest of the city. As much as she hated to admit it, she was starting to like Midgard. The newspaper wasn't hurting. It had a picture of her and Skurge holding off chitauri while Captain America got mortals to safety. It said that they were heros. Amora was used to the papers just hating her and Skurge, so this was a rather pleasant change. Maybe she wouldn't destroy things or cause havoc anymore,
Or maybe at least for the rest of the year.

*One week after New Years*
The avengers were busy helping rebuild the city, avengers old and new. Chilly, Ember, Vali, Nari, Bowtie and Jayfeather were made official avengers on New Year's day. Vali and Nari had left to see their Mother Sigyn, they would be back in a few days. According to news stories, because of Fenrir and Jormungand the chitauri had hardly even touched Australia, some were even calling the two siblings ancient animal gods. No one even knew that they were still on Earth. Shortly after that news paper had been released the Daily Bugle had suffered property damage, to which HYDRA claimed doing. (Not really sure why they did that but okay.)
Stark was once again making plans for a new, new, Avenger's Tower, he wasn't sure how long it was going to take due to the fact that he had to start from scratch. I didn't mind because the helicarrier was a cool place to live as long as you didn't fall into a room through the vents during an important Council meeting... Hahaha...Ha...
Other then that things were alright, though sometimes I wonder what's going on in our old universe.
But yeah, things were pretty great.

*One Year Later*
Avenger's Tower looks like, well, Avenger's Tower. The rebuilt city surrounding it looked great and the Tower glowed as the New Year's fireworks went off around the city. Stark was paranoid that someone would destroy the tower again, saying that, 'I can't take one more of my babies getting hurt, if anyone hurts my tower they'll only keep fifteen percent of their life-' and he continued with saying things like that even after we had moved in. Jayfeather and Bowtie hardly ever left each others sides as well as Vali and Ember. Nari had been hesitant at first with moving into the tower, previously living with Sigyn instead of the Helicarrier, but after a bit we had managed to convince him everything was alright and that he didn't have to worry about us being mad at him.
Somewhere along the way me and Ember confessed that our real names were 'Nicole' and 'Sarah' but we all decided that we were just going to go by Chilly and Ember until the end of time so okay.
Because the tower had been destroyed last year we had lost the scoreboard on the prank war, JARVIS had been damaged and no one else remembered the exact score so we had decided that it had ended in a tie. (Though Stark and Loki still got into arguments about it from time to time about who had really won.)
It was going to be interesting living with these guys for the rest of my life, and then some. Hela had told us that we could all hang out in Hel when we died and could be whatever age we wanted because hopefully we were going to die old and we didn't want to be hanging out in Hel as old people.
God help me I was going to have to deal with Stark even after I died.

*Ten Years and six months later not everything can be on New Years for fucks sake.*
In all honesty, I was surprised we had all lived this long.
All of the original avengers were still alive, though most of them were retired. Stark, Clint, Bruce and Natasha were all still living in the tower but were out of the superhero business. Steve, due to the super soldier serum, had aged more slowly. He also wasn't saving the world, well, in a way that meant he fought supervillains hand to hand. He was now on the World Security Council along with Fury and Coulson and a guy named Hank Pym. Maria Hill was now acting director of SHIELD, with agent Lucas as her right hand- woman. Because of the unicorn and dragon war that Amy and Justin had ten years back, they were now agents of SHIELD, the eighteen year olds still even had their Sky and Star toys from when they had changed back after that long day of fighting.
Thor now king of the nine realms, he stayed on Asgard but sent letters every six months to tell us how it was going. Jane was with him and was now queen.
Loki mostly stayed with Sigyn, the two of them living somewhere in Asgard. They popped in, (Literally. Nearly gave me a goddamn heart attack once) frequently to say hi and check in on Vali and Nari, Fenrir and Jormungand were now living with them as well.
Vali and Ember had twins, they still took down villains but now they were more aggressive due to the fact that they were now fighting for their kids. The girl's name was Rika which meant 'eternal ruler' (Go big or go home I guess.) and the boy's name was Adam (Sorry Adam.). The two seven year olds were mischievous (I blame Loki's genetics) and were seriously skilled with magic. Rika's skill was setting pancakes on fire with green flames, Adam's was levitating objects and putting them in high up places where no one could find them. (You think it's funny but wait until the fire extinguisher is missing and the kitchen is being engulfed in magic green fire.)
Jayfeather and Bowtie were still alive (Thank god) But because of their old age they mostly milled around the tower in their normal forms and only changing when they wanted to entertain the twins. Sadly Rose had died three years ago because of a heart problem, Hela assured us he was with her and fine though. You know, apart from the fact that he was dead.
Nari and I got along fine, though he would often leave and just sit in the park all day until someone went and retrieved him. I think he sat there thinking about his time with Thanos due to the haunted look in his eyes I would see when it was my time to get him from the park, other then that he acted just fine.
Because the original avengers were retired, me, Ember, Vali, Nari, and Peter couldn't defend the world all by ourselves, we had recruited four people Peter knew from his old high school. They went by Nova, White Tiger, Power Man, and Iron Fist. I had been sceptical at first, but then they had been nice people and helpful in taking down some blue jerk. (I think his name was Kang the Conqueror or something.)
I had been appointed leader of the avengers, but a lot of people just referred to us as 'The New Avengers'. Being leader was hard sometimes, but it was worth it to see the city still in one piece at the end of the day. Keeping nine avengers in line, plus keeping the world from falling apart was a lot of work.
But I think, no matter what happens, everything will be okay.
The End
P.s - If any of you care, I'm thinking about starting a new story. Still in the avengers universe but not related to this story, if you're curious, stay tuned. Bye ;)
