Ok people I need 5 cub names, at the moment they're nameless since me and the two wolves don't have a clue what to call them. Just send some names through review or private message.
The pups were growing fast in the first week even if they couldn't see for a few more days. They spent most of the time with Kurt being fed by his milk and sleeping. Lots of sleeping.
When Kurt went out with the pack to hunt Elizabeth, being a younger female, looked after the sleeping pups and protecting them from any dangers they might come across in the den.
When everyone was in the den at night Kurt and Blaine were very protective of the 5 young pups and only let their parents and siblings, apart from Cooper, near them.
A week after they were born Kurt was lying on his moss bed; it had been changed and refreshed since he had given birth as to not attract Bears or other animals to the den. He was talking to some of the other female wolves in the pack while licking the only male pup of the litter. "So what're you going to call them?" One of them asked, she was one of the youngest of the group but she was still allowed to join in. She had dark grey fur that was so dark it was almost navy blue. Kurt smiled at her and quickly glanced at Blaine, who was sleeping soundly with his head on Kurt's back and a pup between his paws. "We haven't decided on names for them yet since we just can't agree and they need to be perfect. The pups are perfect after all." He said proudly nuzzling his nose in the scruff of the little boy's neck.
A few days after, the Pups' eyes started opening so they could see the den and all the other wolves for the first time. They lay there curled up with Kurt and blinked their eyes open. They looked around to be met with a wolfish grin from their proud Alpha. The male pup was the first to crawl towards him finally being able to see what direction he was going instead of just using his nose to guide him. Blaine nosed his little boy and rolled onto his back so he could play with the little pup. "You probably don't know this yet but you're going to lead this pack one day, just like your dad" he huffed happily to the little pup that just yapped in return, still not knowing how to talk properly yet.
Kurt woke to Blaine's words and grinned fondly at him "you happy now that you have your little Alpha?" he said, and if he could he would probably have one eyebrow raised at his mate. After a very enthusiastic nod from Blaine Kurt rolled to his side to let the pups nurse for the morning, all of them being able to see him apart from one little female who hadn't opened her eyes yet and was still using her nose to find a teat. Kurt watched them drink and grabbed the male by the scruff, before placing him with the others, much to Blaine's disappointment. Once they were finished Kurt picked up the little girl and licked her face trying to encourage her to open her eyes "maybe she isn't ready yet?" Blaine suggested, nuzzling at Kurt's neck "give her a few more days before you start getting worried" he said that last part mostly to himself then to Kurt since they both knew that he was the one that worried enough for both of them combined.
I really need to learn how to write longer chapters but I couldn't do much else without puppy names.
