SailorStar9: And so another chapter goes up and yes, I'm continuing this. This is Chapter 5. Read and review.

Chapter 5: Game Master Arc: Hedgehog Blues

"Maybe speed is the key..." Game Master noted as he worked in his artefact. "And I know who I can choose if I want speed..." He placed a cartridge on the gadget's slot and four figures materialized inside the room.

"This place's dark... I don't like dark..." The first one, a two-tailed fox commented.

The second one, a blue hedgehog with red shoes was tapping his feet on the ground "Okay, tell us what you want, we ain't got all day, y'know?"

Game Master grinned "It's simple. Go and destroy the Senshi."

"Oh, is that it?" The third one, a purplish echidna muttered.

"I like this... I get to kill someone..." The fourth one, a fat, bald man with a moustache said and chuckled evilly.

Game Master nodded "And I know who one of them is. Litana Haru." He showed his minions a picture of her. "She's not with her friends at the moment, so she'll be an easy target. Go get her." The four minions bowed and vanished. "Let's see if they can fight what they cannot see..." He added and laughed evilly. "Now where were we?" He muttered and grinned as he resumed his match of Quake 3 CTF...

Meanwhile Litana and Seiji were walking through a quite crowded street in Akihabara. "Gee, there's a lot of people here today..." Litana complained.

"You wanted to come here for some reason, didn't you?" Seiji reasoned.

"Yeah... Well, you know, if the enemy's using videogame characters..." Litana noted. "Where's the first place you'd look at to locate it?"

"Hmmm... An arcade or a videogames store." Seiji mused.

"Well, there're a lot of these around here." Litana explained.

"Hmmm... You kinda have a point but... That would be correct if the enemy was thinking straight..." Seiji noted.

"So?" Litana asked.

"Well, whoever uses videogame characters as minions are either too brain-dead, too desperate, or a total nutcase." Seiji listed with his fingers.

"Well, there're a lot of these in this part of the city too." Litana pointed out. Most of the crowd glared at her "Whoops... Hi everyone!" She said and smiled. The crowd shrugged and kept on going "See?" She said turning to Seiji.

Seiji sighed and shook his head. Suddenly there was a cry and people started running away from the direction they were going to. "Let me guess..." Seiji muttered.

"Don't guess, let's transform and kick their butts." Litana muttered.

"Yes ma'am." Seiji joked as both walked into an alley to transform.

Sailor Jupiter and Kourin no Seiji walked out of the alley, only to find a group of strange creatures walking towards them.

"Oh dear... Tell me I'm not seeing what I think I'm seeing..." Jupiter muttered as the two Senshi reached the creatures.

"If you mean Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Eggman breaking stuff and scaring people off, well, that's what I see too." Seiji commented with a shrug.

"Never mind." Jupiter muttered. She then shrugged "Let's beat them."

"Just the two of us?" Seiji asked.

"Are you scared?" Jupiter teased "Come on, they're just videogame characters, how hard to beat could they be?"

"You never played Sonic, did you?" Seiji asked.

"Well, no..." Jupiter admitted.

"Never mind that…" Seiji muttered and brought out his sword.

"Hey look, we came here looking for Jupiter, and we got a 2 for 1 discount." Sonic noted.

Jupiter looked at the creatures and shrugged "Less talk and more action." She charged at the group and leapt at Sonic as electricity gathered around her. "Lightning Kick!"

Sonic literally walked out of the way of the attack "Gee... If you were a bit slower, a snail would beat you to a marathon."

Jupiter blinked. "He's fast."

"No duh." Seiji muttered. "Just cover me."

"What are you going to do?" Jupiter asked worriedly.

"Get myself beaten up, most likely." Seiji muttered.

"Oh, okay." Jupiter said with a shrug and Seiji face-faulted.

"Anyhow..." the Halo Warrior leapt towards Tails sword-first. The fox swiftly dodged the charge and kicked Seiji on his back sending him into a fashion store.

"Why you..." Jupiter muttered. "Supreme Thunder Punch!"

Tails was caught off-guard by the attack and knocked through a wall and into a jewellery. Knuckles had used that time to climb up a wall and get right behind Jupiter unnoticed. He leapt down fist first and grinned.

"Thunderbolt Cut!" Seiji came charging out of the fashion store and sent Knuckles crashing back. Jupiter looked back then turned and smiled at the Kourin bearer. Seiji nodded at her. "You take care of the pink moron, I'll get the rest."

"But..." Jupiter started.

"Don't worry."

"Okay..." Jupiter turned to face Knuckles.

Knuckles stood up wincing and frowned "Surprise attacks won't work, so I'll try plain old brute force." He charged at Jupiter with a speed that made it impossible for the Senshi of Thunder to dodge and connected sending her crashing away.

"Jupiter!" Seiji growled. "That's it, you're dead. Thunderbolt Cut!"

Sonic and Tails both gasped as Knuckles was vaporized by the attack. Tails glared at the Senshi and charged at him, but Seiji was faster and swung his sword around stabbing it through the fox. "TAILS!" Sonic shouted in shock as the fox vaporized.

Eggman was looking on from atop the robot he was riding, not moving. Seiji saw that and decided to focus in the blue hedgehog. Sonic growled and then suddenly a yellow aura surrounded him. An instant later, his body had turned golden. "Uh oh..." Seiji muttered as Sonic charged at him.

Jupiter woke up and shook her head to recover her senses. She then saw the now golden Sonic spinning around Seiji. Sonic stopped as suddenly as he had started his attack and leapt away. Seiji fell to his knees, as his armour faded off. "Seiji..."

"So you thought you were fast..." Sonic muttered and prepared a second attack. He never had the chance to use it.

"JUPITER COSMIC POWER!" Jupiter shouted. Her body was surrounded by lightning and she emerged wearing a fuku like Super Sailor Moon, only green. She didn't waste a second before summoning her new attack. "Jupiter.." Energy started swirling around her fist, slowly gathering in her gloves. "Supreme Thunder..." More energy gathered as she threw her punch forward at Sonic. "Punch!" a lightning dragon construct tore through the air and hit Sonic dead on, vaporizing him in a blink. Jupiter fell to her knees and gasped for air.

Seiji saw Eggman moving to attack Jupiter. He tried to move but winced and fell face first on the ground "Litana... watch out!" He shouted looking at the robot helplessly.

Jupiter looked up and tried to back away from Eggman, but she couldn't even stand up, since had used up most of her energy in her last attack. She noticed a figure atop a roof and frowned "Is that Mercury?"

"Tsunami Freeze!"

Robotnik didn't even have time to turn to the voice before the attack hit and vaporized him. The robot fell to the ground and exploded. The blue-clad Senshi just looked at Jupiter for a second, nodded, then vanished.

Jupiter slowly stood up and walked to Seiji's side. "Are you okay?" She asked.

"Sort of." Seiji muttered.

Game Master frowned, "Sonic failed... I thought he'd be enough to at least beat Jupiter... but why do they keep on upgrading?"

A figure appeared behind him, and stood there for a few seconds before saying "I admit it's a mystery even for me. It looks like the legend that the Senshi have unlimited power may not only be a legend..."

"If that is true, then how am I supposed to beat them?" Game Master asked.

"If you kill them before they can power up, then they won't be a problem for you. I'll see if I can send some help for you."

"That'd be kind of you."

"I'm not kind, I just want the Senshi dead." The figure said.

"Well, I have a few more plans in mind... Maybe I can destroy one or two of them next time..."

"I hope so." The figure said and vanished.
