Authors Note: Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, to be honest I forgot about this fic. Hahah, anyway, here you go! The long awaited update. (Also, it seems my authors note in the other chapter didn't save, the rating on this fic may turn to M later on – so fair warning!)

Eridan walked sluggishly over to the kitchen sink, got out a glass and filled it with water. Before he could take a sip, he heard the unfamiliar sound of trucks outside.

"Huh… Must be the new-w family or somethin" he mumbled to himself.

When he finished his water, he put the glass on the bench and went to sit on the couch; he settled down and turned on the T.V, stretching his legs out on the big leather sofa. His headache still hadn't gone away, thus it descended to migraine-tier. He gazed aimlessly at the T.V, not taking into account the show that was on. Slowly he dozed off into a light sleep, the sound of the television drowning out until his eyes closed.

He woke up with a jolt, and sighed. His glasses had fallen down to the floor and he was splayed out on the couch. He groggily fetched his glasses from the ground and stood up, rubbing his eyes before putting the lenses on. Slowly Eridan trekked upstairs and headed to his bedroom, where he picked up his phone to check the time. 10:30. Huh. He'd passed out for a while. He opened his curtains to reveal a not-so-interesting view of the street he lived in, the only difference today were the moving trucks he'd heard before.

He grabbed an outfit from a pile in the corner of his room, and headed to the bathroom. He undressed out of his pajamas and put a towel messily around his waist, turning on the water and checking if it was the right temperature. When it was, he stripped the towel off, and stepped in, running shampoo through his bleach-blond and purple streaked hair then rinsed it out. He then repeated with conditioner, until his hair was clean.
