Chapter 9 Developing feelings?

Natsume

When Mikan fainted, the strong arms that carried her was Ruka, he was too quick enough to catch Mikan from falling but on the other hand one person wished that he was the one who was able to catch Mikan from falling. You can hear curses escape on his lip, While seeing this,Ruka on the other hand can't help himself to chuckle cause he seems to notice his best friend being jealous.

Ruka brought Mikan inside their house followed by Natsume, Ruka asked the maid to open the quest room and to change Mikan's clothes, when the guest room was opened Ruka brought Mikan there and lay her on the bed. After some time the maid have changed her clothes. Natsume entered the room and touched her forehead, and It was burning, It was noticeable to that Mikan's face became paler.

Natsume went downstairs to get some ice, he grabs some basin and put the ice on it with some water, There he made his way upstairs to take care of Mikan. he opened the closet and grab some towel. there he has begun taking care of Mikan. After that he took to get the thermometer to check Mikan's temperature

39 degrees Celsius

After sometime Ruka appeared " Is Mikan alright?" he asked worriedly

Natsume shook his head " Maybe I need to call the family doctor" Ruka stated as he jolted downstairs

Mikan seemed she is was having a dream, there was a sweat on her forehead as she speaks "Hey" Natsume called shaking her. Still unconscious.

"Natsume" Ruka called out with a worried expression on his face

"What?" Natsume asked

"The Doctor couldn't come cause, his wife happens to give birth to their baby and now he was on-

Ruka was unable to finish his words when Natsume carried Mikan's body (bridal style yeah). As he passed Ruka and went quickly downstairs. He clicked his car keys making the car to open as he put Mikan's body on the back seat he quickly started the engine as he made his way to the hospital.

On the road he is driving as fast as he could so he may get there on time. When he arrived at the hospital. he stopped the engine and carried Mikan's body and bring her to the emergency room. There in the emergency room you can see the doctors and nurses are busy doing the work.

"Excuse me" he called out , But the nurses and doctors are busy and seemed not to mind his presence. When he saw a nurse who does nothing, just they're sitting on the table he tried to call her attention " Excuse me but would you mind taking of this patient" he ordered. While the nurse just looked at him awestruck, When he noticed this he couldn't control himself "I said take care of her not look at me" he shouted . The nurse quickly comes back to her senses and lead them to a bed there Natsume laid Mikan's body.

The nurse called the doctor out, After some physical assessment and observations. the doctor decided to let Mikan be admitted in the hospital.

"Excuse me but what is your relation to the patient?" the doctor asked "are you her boyfriend?" the doctor continued

"just a concerned citizen" Natsume answered. did I just say concerned... why would I be concerned? "

The doctor just nodded. After some time, Mikan was brought into a room. with one patient bed, there was a couch beside the bed. Mikan condition seemed better than earlier although she still has a fever. Natsume on the other hand stayed with Mikan. he lay on the couch for a while. he checked his phone and there was one text message from her girlfriend ( soon-to-be-wife).

Message:

Sender: Luna

Call me when you got this message , I love you

Natsume on the other hand just closed his phone and shut his eyes. and after that he fell A sleep due to exhaustion.

Meanwhile..

Hotaru arrived at their house with a money sign on her eyes. Ruka approaches her worriedly

"Hotaru" he called out

"What?" Hotaru replied coldly

"Mikan fainted earlier" Ruka started " and Natsume carried her somewhere cause our family-

Hotaru quickly jolted out the house, Ruka followed her as they enter the car. Hotaru started the engine while on the road Ruka asked her a question "Where are we going?" Ruka asked

"To that Idiot" Hotaru replies

"But" Ruka started staring at his wife "We don't know where Natsume brought Mikan" Ruka answered wondering

"Who says that?" Hotaru started " I have tracking device implanted in your phones, so I know where will you go or If you are going to cheat on me" Hoatru stated as she gave a cold glare to Ruka

"But, you know that I wouldn't right?" Ruka stated

Hotaru just gave him a cold glare "Anyway, we're here" Hotaru stated.

They arrived at the Hospital, they went to the information center and asked if there was a girl admitted in this hospital.

"Excuse me but is there a girl admitted here earlier?" Ruka asked

The nurse nodded

"did they do home or what?" Ruka continued

"No, she was still in the hospital, the doctor ordered her to stay here for some observations" the nurse replied

"Which room is she in?" Ruka asked

"But may I asked who are you?" the nurse uttered

"Uhmm were here-, Ruka was about to speak when Hotaru cut her of "Her parents" Hotaru replies as she give a death glare to the nurse

"Eh" the nurse answered in shock "But you look so young and-, She was unable to finish when Hotaru grabbed something on her pocket. (yeah the famous baka gun) "are you going to tell me or what?" Hoatru threaten

"204" the nurse stated

After they left the nurses station. They went off to see Mikan. They arrived at the second floor and saw the room. They oped it and to their surprise they saw Natsume sleeping on the couch. Ruka was about to wake him up when Hotaru stopped him. Hotaru grab her camera on her bag and started taking photos I'm going to be rich she thought.

"Anyway, why is that baka still here?" Hotaru asked

"Probably he is concerned?" Ruka answered reluctantly staring at his best friend ... but it's not like him though he thought

A/N: Sorry for keeping you waiting I have this writer's block and this Idea suddenly popped out of my mind when I spent two days on the hospital taking care of my grandfather cause he was hit by a tricycle, Two days ago my grandmother was knocking t my room in 5:00 in the morning , So, I get up from my bed, When I opened the door this is what she says "Myfavegirl" she started , I looked at her confusingly "Your grandfather was hit by a tricycle and he was in the hospital" and my heart was like beating so fast, As my body froze, thoughts kept playing on my mind that time... Anyway, I'm glad he was fine now, he was back on his normal state (Thank God) :))

Well dear readers sorry If I wasn't able to update my other work The Meet Mr. Arrogant, I really want to but something just came up. But I would update that story for sure.

well you may ask why I'm not in school ? Answer : school starts on Monday (the horror)
