Rachel Mason walked out of her bedroom. "Alice, can you please get a move on, we need to get a move on, we leave in 10 minutes" shouted Rachel up the stairs to her only daughter who was styling her hair.
The whole of Waterloo Road were going on a trip to France to go skiing in the alps, and Rachel as head teacher had to be their on time.
"Buzz, buzz, buzz", Rachel's phone was going off.
"Hello", she replied. She saw it was Eddie Lawson, her close friend and deputy head. She knew it would he urgent, so she had to take the call.
"That's great thank you Eddie, see you in 15".
Eddie was going to collect Rachel and Alice instead as it would be easier then having to drive to the school.
After about 15 minutes Eddie Lawson arrived at the door, and was surprised to see Alice bound up to the door.
"Hi Eddie, I mean Sir sorry! Come in, mums just upstairs", Alice said loudly.
Rachel however had no idea that Eddie had arrived, and was just calling him to see where he was. Eventually, when they left, they had got everything and were well on there way to the alps.
