Hey guys, I'm sorry for such a short chapter 1. This chapter is much more juicy, and

longer. (: I've been really busy lately. (HS Senior) I didn't expect to get any views, but I got a lot for a first chapter, and first story. Thanks for reading. There will be more coming. I'll probably only write during break or a weekend when I don't have much to do. Enjoy. :3

After they found out about the big coincidence, everyone headed back. Yuna led the way, and the boys followed.

(In the girl's car)

Rikku in the passenger seat turned on the CD mix that Yuna had in her car. Paine looked out the window, probably dreading that the boys were also going to tag along with them on future plans for their vacation.

Rikku said, "Are we gonna hang with the boys too?"

Yuna replied, "I don't know, we'll talk with them and see."

Paine sighs.

(In the boy's car)

While driving, Nooj contemplated aloud, "It's just so weird that they decided to vacation here, and we're at the same island, and the same resort."

"Maybe it's destiny or fate that brought everyone together," Baralai added.

"Or maybe fate's giving us a chance to get to know them, and get friendly," Gippal smirked.

Nooj and Baralai rolled their eyes.

"Thirsty much?" replied Nooj with a laugh.

"Which one of the three girls do you even think you'd have a chance with anyway?" Baralai asked.

"Uhh, I think Paine is kinda hot, and mysterious." Gippal replied.

"I don't know, Gippal, she's gonna be a tough one," Nooj said. Nooj parks the car in front of their building, "We're here, let's go."

While walking to their rooms, the girls were walking towards them.

Gippal waved and smiled, "Hey girls."

Rikku cheerfully replied, "Hey boys, you wanna hang out with us?"

Yuna added, "Yeah, let's catch up?" She opens the doors with the room key, and gestures them in. Paine had a slight frown and followed after everyone else with her arms crossed.

Everyone found a seat in the living room, while Yuna went to go get some water and snacks for everyone. The boys sat on one couch, while Paine sat on a chair by herself, Rikku sat near the boys on the other couch.

Gippal noticed Paine having her arms still crossed, and started a conversation, "So Paine, how's Hawaii been so far?"

She didn't move her head towards him, and glanced towards him, "It's been okay, I guess. We went to the beach, and ran into you guys at lunch."

Noticing Paine's distant comment, Rikku decided to cheer things up.

"Hey guys, there's this luau that we're going to, for dinner. Do you guys want to join us? It'll be fun," she said excitedly with a smile.

Nooj smiles sheepishly, while rubbing the back of his head, "Well, I don't want to intrude or anything, but if it's okay with Yuna and Paine I guess we'll be happy to come."

While Baralai remains slient, Yuna walks in with a tray with cups of water and an assorted chip bowl.

Everyone said, "Thanks, Yuna."

"You're welcome," Yuna replied happily.

"Rikku invited the boys to the luau tonight, is that okay with you girls?" Baralai finally spoke.

Then, while the boys waited for the girl's response by snacking on the chips, and drinking water.

"Yeah, that's fine with me," Yuna replies, looking at Paine and Rikku for their opinion.

Rikku just nodded and smiled, and Paine unenthusiastically said, "It's okay…"

Nooj smiled in delight, "Alright then, do we need tickets?"

"Yeah, you could just buy them there," Yuna replied.

The girls also started to munch on the chips, and drink water. Rikku flipped on the TV, and asked, "Anyone have a favorite channel?"

No one responded, so Rikku flipped until Yuna said, "Oooh, stop here, I love this movie."

The movie was Skyfall, the boy's attention also turned to the screen. Everyone watched and snacked until it was time to go to the luau dinner.

(After the Luau, the girl's suite)

"That was so fun! Right? And the performances were so awesome." Rikku commented.

"I know, the half naked man playing with fire was the most exciting." Yuna added, "What did you think Paine?"

"Well, I actually agree with you on the fire part," Paine agreed.

Tired, Yuna says, "I'm going to shower," Yuna replies.

Paine starts to walk out of the living room, when Rikku asks, "Where are you going, Paine?"

"To the Jacuzzi," Paine responds.

(The boy's suite)

They boys sat down on the couch, while Gippal was in the middle.

Gippal rubbed his stomach and groaned, "Man, I ate like a pig."

"Me too," Nooj and Baralai replied in unison.

While nudging both boys, Gippal said, "Hey, what did you think of those Hula girls, huh?"

Nooj replied, "Well, they all were pretty, and exotic looking."

"Nah, I think Rikku's body and outfit was better than any of them," Baralai commented last.

"Wait, bro…you like Rikku?" Gippal asked, confused. Nooj just smiled and let out a light laugh.

"Yeah, maybe…what's wrong with that?" Barlai defended.

Gippal patted him on his back, "Nothing man, nothing."

"I'm going to the Jacuzzi to relax," Gippal added.

"I think I'm going to shower, soon," Baralai said.

"Are you sure you want to go alone?" Nooj asked, worried.

"Yeah, I'll be fine," Gippal responded.

(At the Jacuzzi)

Paine was already in the Jacuzzi relaxing in her white top and black bottom bikini. Gippal recognizes Paine first, "Oh, hey Paine. You came here to relax too?"

Paine replies, "Yeah, to get away from those girls."

"Hey, they're not so bad," Gippal laughs.

Gippal scoots closer, "…How are you holding up? From…our last mission?"

He remembers Paine was horrified, crying even, and Paine rarely cries.

Paine automatically becomes upset, and furrows her eyebrows, "Why are you bringing this up, now?"

Gippal looks down, "I'm sorry, I just didn't know what other thing in common we had…"

Paine remains silent, and Gippal puts his arm around her shoulders.

Gippal comforts Paine, "You don't have to act so tough all the time, you could always lean on my shoulder, and besides, I'm the only one who understands how you feel…I brought this up, because maybe you came here because you aren't holding up so well."

Paine smiles slightly, "Thanks, Gippal. And you do understand me."

Gippal leans in closer to Paine, she notices, but she just stays still.

Paine's thoughts say, "Um…is he about to kiss me…? No..way.."

Gippal plants a tender, soft kiss onto her lips, and Paine's eyes are wide open from shock.

But, she eventually calms down, to close her eyes.
