In the lower levels of Planet Terminus

"Okay, get ready," the Doctor said to the other members of the expedition, as the newly-revived Cybermen advanced on them. "Remember, their weakness is gold…try to get it into their breathing apparatus, on the chest."

The Cybermen advanced. The Doctor fired his makeshift cannon. The gold projectile embedded itself into the Cyberman's chest. The metal monster let out a terrible yell of pain, and then collapsed to the ground.

Yet still the Cybermen kept on coming. One turned toward Victoria. She screamed.

With a speed and ferocity that startled everyone, Jamie jumped in front of her. Grabbing a handful of gold dust from the ground, he flung it at the Cyberman.

"Eat the gold!" he shouted. "Eat the gold, Cyberman!" He grabbed another handful and flung it. The Cyberman's knees buckled.

Jamie was upon its back, a small nugget of gold in his hand. He ground the nugget back and forth across the Cyberman's breathing filter, like a waiter grating cheese at an Italian restaurant.

"EAT THE GOLD!"
