Natsumi: Hi guyssssss! Sorry I couldn't post faster; I have too much homework in middle school and stupid worthless projects to do.

Ikuto: Liesssss *glances behind Natsumi* WTF?! O.o

Amu: *screams muffled from rag* Mmmmphhhhhhh! :(

Natsumi: Yep, I tied her up and gagged her. You wanna insult Sasuke?

Ikuto: Damn, you're scary. You're gonna scare all your fans away.

Natsumi: Yeah, yeah, I know I am. If you say something bad about Sasuke, it just triggers off my fangirl side of me. *yanks gag off Amu's mouth*

Natsumi: So anyways, hopefully I'll post the new FF up in the next few days after today. So the title is called "Forbidden Love" and the description as promised:Princess Hinamori Amu is forced to marry a wealthy prince named Hotori Tadase. Amu and her sister, Princess Utau begs the king and queen to let her stay at the kingdom, but fails. One night, Amu goes on a walk and meets Tsukiyomi Ikuto. They befriend each other and fall in love. They realize their love is forbidden since Amu is Tadase's so they decide to run away. Will they get caught or "live happily ever after"?

Ikuto: What. The. Hell?! The description already sounds freaking retarded! Why dah hell would Amu marry TADASE?

Amu: Um, cuz he's better than you?

Ikuto: Aw, c'mon, you know you love me.

Amu: *sarcastic* Uh-huh *blushes*

Ikuto: Oh, look who's blushing :)

Amu: Sh-Shut up! Natsumi does not own Shugo Chara! Or any of its characters!

~Amu's POV~

Feeling refreshed after the relaxing bath, I plopped down on my bed, sighing. I was really exhausted today and felt myself drifting off to sleep. It was so comfortable on my cozy, soft bed, when suddenly-

RING RING RING

I jolted awake and accidentally banged my head against the headboard. "Ow…" I muttered, rubbing my head. I rubbed the sleep off my eyes and dragged myself up from bed and to my desk, where my phone was. I glared at the pink buzzing device for a good three seconds before I snatched it up from the table and answered the damned thing.

"What?" I snapped into the receiver. I lay back down on my fluffy white pillow.

"Whoa, grumpy much?" a voice which I recognized as Utau's boomed out, causing me to move the phone a few inches away from my ear. This girl seriously needs to take lessons on how to use phones correctly.

"Hey Utau" I said tiredly. "Sorry"

"Apology not accepted. Hey, you'll never guess what happened the other day when Kukai and I went to the ramen shop." Utau rushed on, not giving me a chance to respond.

"Girl, when did you turn into Ms. Bubbly?" I asked her. "What'd Kukai do? Ask you out or something?"

Utau squealed and I had to shift the phone to my other ear. "Is that a yes?" I asked, rubbing my now throbbing ear.

"Um, no" she said with less enthusiasm.

"Spill it then"

"We were eating ramen and there were these high school guys sitting at the booth next to ours." she said.

"Yay, big deal, some strangers sitting next to you." I said clapping sarcastically.

"Shut up and listen" Utau snapped. "Eh, sorry about that. But anyways, they were staring at me like they were checking me out or something and I glared at them to make them stop. They didn't and smirked in return like they were enjoying my anger. Kukai noticed and wrapped his arm around my waist protectively and practically glared holes through each of the guys." she babbled in a rush.

"I'm surprised you didn't die of happiness yet" I commented.

"I know right!" she squealed. My poor ear. "And that wasn't even it. We thought that they had left us alone, but when they stood to leave, they paused at our tale and one of the guys sneered at Kukai. Then he turned to me and said that if I ever got tired of 'jockey boy' he was always available. Kukai growled and barked at them to back off, then pulled me closer to him!"

"Kukai growled? Seriously? He only does that when he's really mad, you know"

"Hm!" Utau hummed happily.

"I'm coming over for a sleepover tomorrow," I mentioned.

"Oh really? Yay!" she exclaimed. I sighed at her unusual bubbliness. Kukai did a really good job of putting her on Cloud Nine.

"Snap out of it. This isn't some regular sleepover at your room; I'm sleeping in Ikuto's room, on his bed." I groaned.

"Why?" Utau insisted, back to her usual self.

"Welcome back to earth." I mumbled. "A dare." I stated simply.

There was a pause at the other end of the line. I yawned. "Did something happen at detention today that you didn't tell me?"

"You must be an idiot to not have figured out what happened yet."

Utau snorted with laughter leaving me on my bed, listening to her giggle on the other end of the line.

"And it's only not for tomorrow. It's for every time I come over and stay at your house for the night." I added, flopping over on my stomach and burying my face in the pillow.

"It's your fault you decided to play the game with him."

"I was bored!" I whined. "But my dare for Ikuto was hilarious, too." I told Utau what I did to his face and she laughed even harder than before.

"Speaking of Ikuto, there was something I was meaning to ask you. What's up between you two?" Leave it to Utau to be straight forward and obvious. I let out a sigh.

"What do you mean 'what's up with us'?" I asked. I felt my face heating up.

"Don't play dumb with me."

"Well I seriously don't get what you're trying to say."

"Ikuto has been talking to you and teasing you more often and you're blushing and stuttering around him."

"It's because that sorry excuse of a human being enjoys tormenting me," I scoffed, lifting my head from he pillow. I raised a hand to touch my cheek and realized it was burning. "So it doesn't mean anything."

"Oh whatever, you stubborn kid," Utau sighed.

"I'm the same age as you," I said, rolling my eyes.

"Two months older" she corrected.

"Yeah, whatever, no difference."

"Well, gotta go! See you in school tomorrow," Utau said.

"Bye." I replied and hung up. Once again, I dragged myself up from bed and started packing for the sleepover.

~Ikuto's POV~

"Did you ask your parents?"I wrote on a piece of looseleaf and folded it up. I threw the note in Amu's direction, landing on her desk.

Amu looked up and turned around to look at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Seriously?" she wrote back.

I slide the note under my books as Nikaidou turned to explain some dumb algebra equation to the class. Tch, as if that will help us later on in life.

"Answer plz?" I scribbled quickly, waiting for Nikaidou to turn his back to us before throwing the crumpled paper at Amu again.

"If you want to know so badly, then yes."

"Where's your stuff for 2nite then?"

I watched as the pinkette covered the piece of paper with her hand as Nikaidou walked pass her desk.

Just then, the bell rang and Amu shoved the note into her bag along with her other books.

"Finally," I heard Utau say to Amu and Kukai as we entered the lunchroom. "I couldn't stand another minute in that room with Nikaidou droning on about some equation." We agreed.

We walked past Lulu and Saaya's table, girls also known as the bitches and sluts of this school. They giggled and batted their eyelashes at me and Kukai, waving "hi".

Kukai completely ignored them and continued talking to Utau, making her laugh at whatever they were talking about. I smirked at the girls and slid my hands in my pockets, arriving at our usual table.

Utau sat next to Amu while Kukai sat across from Utau on the other side. I took the seat on the other side of Amu. They all stared at me with confused expressions with Amu raising her eyebrows at me, but I just brushed it off.

"How am I supposed to eat my food with this creature next to me?" Amu complained to Kukai. Kukai didn't reply and instead stared at me like What the hell, dude?

"Sexy beast." I corrected her. "Of course you can't eat with me next to you; I'm too hot." I smirked at Amu. She put on a disgusted face in reply, but I could see her blushing.

"So your stuff?" I asked as I took my lunch out.

"About that," she said, chewing slowly on her salad, "Did you drive your car to school today?" Amu asked.

"Noooooo, because I sprouted wings flew to school today." I replied sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

Amu glared at me and punched me playfully on my arm. "Owwww!" I complained, faking pain and grasping my abused limb.

"Did I break your arm? Yes! I am awesome!" she cheered. "Do you need to go to the emergency room?" she grinned.

"Heartless woman," I pouted and Amu suppressed a smile. I glanced behind her and realized Utau and Kukai were staring at us intently with shocked expressions.

"What? You guys never saw two people conversating before?" I said, rolling my eyes.

Utau ignored me. "Are you okay, Amu? Did you like, I don't know, accidentally bang your head on the headboard of your bed? Or did Kukai nail you too hard with his soccer ball?"

"Hey!" Kukai protested. Then he turned to me. "You, too. What the hell happened?"

"Really…" Amu muttered. "Is it such a big deal that a guy and girl are talking?"

"That, no. But when the girl is Amu and the guy is Ikuto, then yes!" Utau exclaimed.

"My God…" Amu rubbed her temples. Kukai on the other hand, was still giving me a weird look. I ignored him and unwrapped my sandwich to start eating.

Utau and Kukai exchanged worried and confused looks before returning to their lunches. I rolled my eyes –again- and Amu sighed.

"So anyways," Amu said, turning back to me, "Can you drive me home to pick up my stuff and then go to your house?"

"Sure," I replied. We didn't talk again for the rest of lunch.

~Amu's POV~

Just what the heck is wrong with Utau and Kukai? Is it really such a big deal that Ikuto and I are having a mere conversation? I waited for the perfect time to lecture the to-be couple. Unfortunately, that time never came. So instead, I gave them both the best killer glare I can do as we took our seats for ELA class.

Fifteen minutes into class, Utau tossed me a note. "I'm gonna let you do the car trip with Ikuto alone."

"What? Whyyyyyy?! XC And what's up with you and Kukai freaking out about me and Ikuto talking to each other?" I wrote back.

"'What's up?' Everytime we so much as mention your names to the other person, it's like forcing two natural disasters together. And just before you guys were laughing along like old pals. Also, Kukai's walking me home."

"Seriously -_- It's not that big of a deal. So you and Kukai are going out? :)" I tossed the note on Utau's desk and watched her unfold the note and read its contents. Her face gradually turned pink. She whipped around so fast, she slapped the person behind her with her pigtails. The student stared at her in confusion as she glared at me for a good five seconds. I smiled innocently back at her.

"Please. We're just good friends and I'm totally happy with that. Besides you and Ikuto seem more like a couple than we do. You guys argue like married couples do." I felt myself blush when I read the part about Ikuto and me.

I snuck a glance at Ikuto and caught him staring at me already. Gold clashed with blue. I quickly averted my eyes, my face red now. Has he been staring at me this whole time? His midnight blue orbs following my every movement? I suddenly felt aware of everything I was doing and fidgeted on my seat under Ikuto's gaze.

"No we don't!" I scribbled furiously with my pink and strawberry scented pen. I aimed at Utau's head, determined to hit her in the head, but somehow, the note went flying towards Ikuto's desk instead.

He picked up the note and turned to me with a questioning look. Don't read it. Don't read it. Don't read it. I silently willed, shaking my head repeatedly and motioning for him to throw the note back to me. Utau did the same but added her famous glare, daring him to open the note and she'll rip his head off later.

Ignoring Utau's telepathic threats, Ikuto started to unfold the paper, smirking smugly, as he knows we were raging at him inside.

He scanned the note quickly and read the whole thing in less than a minute. Looking up, he smirked and I felt as if my head would explode due to the extreme heat of my blushing. But, hey, I would rather have that as an option than having Ikuto tease me about the note the rest of eternity. Sadly, my head remained right where it was while my cheeks were still reddening.

Damn youuuuuuuu! I thought as I glared a hole through Ikuto, and buried my face in my hands, proceeding to put my whole head down on the desk.

I jolted up again as a piece of paper hit me on the head. I looked at the direction of where the note came from, which obviously was Ikuto, and narrowed my eyes at him. He smirked in return. Bastard… I thought.

I unfolded the note and saw Ikuto's surprisingly neat handwriting at the bottom. "Talking about me, huh?" it read in black ink. My face felt like a volcano ready to erupt. I won't be surprised if I just fainted right there.

Too embarrassed to even reply, I crumpled the paper and shoved it in my bag, making a mental note to myself to burn it to ashes later.

I still felt his blue orbs on me and knew he was still smirking his face off. Don't ask me how I know, I just do. I tried to concentrate on Nikaidou's boring lesson and ignore Ikuto, but it didn't work. My face continued to grow hotter and hotter.

~Ikuto's POV~

Stupid school finally ended and we were dismissed from class. We walked to the front gates of the school and Utau and Kukai and Amu and I parted ways. They waved and set down the hill towards town. I turned to walk to the parking lot and Amu reluctantly followed.

I could tell she was still mad at me for the little note incident during class because she refused to come any closer than five feet near me.

We arrived at my black Prius and I unlocked the door. I got on the driver's side and Amu got in on the passenger's side. I started the engine and put the car in reverse, backing up from my parking spot and into the road. We were both silent and it was starting to get a bit awkward so I turned on the radio. "Roar" by Katy Perry started playing through the speakers.

"So, you still mad?" I asked Amu while keeping my eyes on the road.

"What? Mad?" she spluttered. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her gaze out the window.

"Oh, no. You're Ms. Sunshine after all." I replied sarcastically, rolling my eyes. Amu scoffed.

"The moment of truth." I grinned as I saw her narrow her eyes at the window, as if she were glaring at me instead. Poor window. "So, where do you live?"

Amu stared at me. "What? I should tell you so you could stalk me? No thanks." I came to a stop at a red light.

"Really? Who was the one who asked me to drive her home so she could pick up her stuff?" I rolled my eyes. This girl is so dense it's not even funny.

She stared out the window again as she realized I was correct. "I wonder." I said, rolling my eyes.

Amu gave me the directions to her house and I made a mental note in my mind. The rest of the ride, we spent in silence. Well, except for Amu constantly humming along to the radio. She sings really well, probably the same as Utau. I found myself enjoying the soothing tone of her voice singing, and started relaxing.

I pulled over to the curb when I spotted a white house with a roof painted red. "Be back in three minutes." Amu said, scrambling out of the car. I nodded in reply.

When she disappeared in the house, I pulled my phone out from my pocket and texted Kukai. "Where are you?"

"Your house. Why?"

Before I got a chance to reply, my phone buzzed again, indicting another text from him. "Utau wants to know if you're still at my house"

"Nope. I kidnapped Amu and flew to Hawaii with her." I replied.

"Haha. Very funny. -_- Anyways, tell Amu to bring my stuff over too. I'm staying over. And tell her not to forget my baby."

His baby? The hell… "Your baby? *smirk*"

"Yes, my baby. My soccer ball -_-" Oh, obviously. What other "baby" would he have?

"Kk, sure" I stepped out of the car and locked it. Then, I turned and trudged up the familiar driveway and to the front door. I was about to ring the bell when I noticed the door was open. Sigh. What am I going to do with Amu? She's so hopelessly clumsy.

I stepped through the open doorway and closed it behind me. A little girl with caramel pigtails poked her head out of the living room and stared at me with large lemon colored eyes. "Bwig Browther!" she squealed, running over and attaching herself to my right leg.

I chuckled and ruffled her hair. "Hey, Ami-chan," I said, recalling her name. Her bright eyes gleamed up at me.

"You're looking her Bwig Sister, wight?" She turned her head towards the stairs and shouted. "SISTERRRRRRRRRR! Your bwoyfwiend is here to pick you up!" I twitched when she said boyfriend. I'm really starting to wonder what Amu tells this kid.

A young looking woman came out of the living room…Amu's mother. "Hinamori-san," I greeted her, bowing slightly while trying not to accidentally kick Ami in the face.

"Ikuto-kun!" she exclaimed. She got an OMG look on her face and looked like she was trying not to squeal. "Amu-chan! Ikuto-kun came!"

"I kind of know that?!" came a muffled reply from upstairs. I rolled my eyes.

"Well don't just stand there!" Amu's mom chided. "Come in!"

"Hm? Oh, um…okay, thanks." I replied. "But, uh…" I glanced down at the little girl glomping my leg. Hinamori-san nodded like she understood and came over to scoop Ami up with much screaming kicking. She apologized for the trouble and carried the girl to another room to distract her with something else.

I smiled to myself and headed for the stairs. Halfway up the stairs, Amu came into sight with a backpack slung across her shoulder. She must've shoved the contents inside because the poor thing was bulging out in odd directions.

I smirked. "Need help?" I offered.

She muttered under her breath as she stumbled toward the first step, trying to deep the bag on her shoulders and staying on her feet. Being the clumsy self that she is, she suddenly lost her balance and tumbled towards me. Instinctively, my arms shot outward to catch her. My arms wrapped around her body and stopped the fall.

I looked down and saw her head buried in my chest. Amu looked up briefly and we locked eyes a second too long. Neither of us broke the gaze so we just stood there with her in my arms. I felt as if I were a magnet, being pulled towards her by her charming and innocent beauty. She stayed still and didn't try to stop me.

"Bwig Sister? Bwig Browther? What are you doing?" a voice asked from below. We both looked away and I noticed Amu's confused expression and the light blush that appeared on her cheeks. I glanced down and saw a little girl no other than Hinamori Ami.

Amu pushed me away harshly. Ouch. "A-Ami." She stuttered. I could hear the nervousness in her voice. "Nothing. I just fell that's all. Oh yeah, did I tell you there's a special on that Cat's Ear show? I think it started five minutes before." She lied. Little Miss Liar.

"Rweally?" Ami squealed. She turned and shot down the stairs like a bullet. I chuckled and turned back to Amu. She was avoiding my gaze and stared at the wall beside us. Her cheeks were still pink from that incident.

"I don't get a 'Thank you'?" I smirked as the blush turned a shade deeper.

"Th-Thank you…" she muttered.

"Whaaaaat?" I can't hear you." I pretended to do just that and cupped my ears.

"You're impossible." Amu huffed. I smirked in reply. "Why are in here anyways?" she asked.

"Oh yeah. Kukai and Utau decided he's gonna sleep over, too, and he wants you to bring his stuff over. You know, especially his 'baby'." I mimicked Kukai making out with a soccer ball. Amu giggled.

"Yeah, sure, why not? The more the merrier."

"Did I ever tell you that you're really old fashioned?" I teased her.

"Did I ever tell you that you're impossible? Oh, wait, I just told you that less than ten seconds ago." Amu shot back sarcastically.

"Well aren't you a smart one. You can count." I rolled my eyes and smirked.

She huffed and ignored me, shoving the heavy pack in my arms. "Thanks!" she called brightly and trudged back up the stairs to Kukai's bedroom. I smiled and turned back down the stairs to exit the house.

I dropped Amu's stuff off at the car and got in to wait for her. A few minutes later, she came out carrying a smaller pack than her own with a black and white ball tucked under her arm. Kukai's "baby".

She got in the car and closed the door behind her, tossing Kukai's belongings in the backseat. "Ready?" I asked her. She nodded.

"Let's go to my mansion."
