Alright this is it! I will answer any questions in an author's note, but other wise I hope you like the conclusion of this story and I appreciate the support of you all! Its been absolutely wonderful!

"Do you really think it was a good idea to leave them alone in there?" Alec asked Magnus as they walked down that hall together, hand in hand.

"Of course. They need some one on one time." Magnus retorted "Not that long ago you all decided to take a quick break, which you rightfully deserve, and then Clary got taken. I'm sure they just want to be...reaquainted." at this Alec blushed and turned to Magnus, who was beaming.

"Don't give me that look." Alec shot at Magnus, but he just laughed.

Just then, Alec heard a scream coming from down the hall where they had just come from, and recognized it as Clary. No words were exchanged between Magnus and Alec, before they turned back to the infirmary, meeting Isabell along the way, who looked just as concerned.

Alec tried the doors, but they wouldn't budge, even Magnu's magic couldn't make them move.

"The door's are under a spell, it's going to take me some time to get them open." Magnus stated as something crashed to the floor behind the door, and blue sparks began flying from his fingertips. "I just hope I'm fast enough."

"Izzy, we should gets some weapons." Alec ordered and left for the armory as Magnus stayed and worked on the door.

"What the hell are you doing here." Jace growled as he stood up from the bed.

"I'm here to collect my sister, but I can see that you aren't going to make this any easier on me, are you."

"You know me, I can never do things the easy way." Jace continued, examining the room for a weapon. I knew I should have left a spare seraph blade in here.

Jace looked back at Clary, but she was watching Jonathan, her face as white as the ivory keys on his piano. As she watched her brother, Jace saw her lean back against the cot, moving her hand behind her back as she did.

"Clarissa…" Jonathan cooed to his sister. "Come with me and I will promise no harm will come to you or Jace. I need his help and I know if you come willingly he will as well."

Clary was silent, and with one swift movement, pulled out a dagger from behind her back, tossed it to Jace, who caught it and sent it flying before Jonathan knew what hit him.

Jonathan stumbled back a step, looking down at the blade protruding from his chest, then with bewilderment stared at Clary. He opened his mouth, but instead of words, blood spurted from his mouth and splattered onto the floor.

Clary screamed, and ran to her brother, tears welling in her eyes as she collided with his falling body. She looked over him, and mutter a continuing apology. Jace hurried to her side and could hear banging on the doors that lead inside, but couldn't bring himself to open the door.

Clary didn't know how she could have done it, but when she had seen Jonathan, her own brother standing in the room with her, she knew there was only one way for this to end where she wouldn't be afraid everyday of her life of loosing Jace because of Jonathan. He had already caused them so much pain, killed shadowhunters and downworlders, and he wouldn't hurt anyone else...not anymore.

Carefully, Clary pulled out a steel from the bedside table and pulled it behind her back. She drew a rune on the metal bed post and it morphed in her hand, taking the shape of a dagger. Jace would be able to make the shot, and this would be her only chance. With one knowing glance at Jace, she tossed him the blade and he threw it into her brother, hitting center mass with a twack.

His black eyes flickered up to her own, and Clary was sure she could hear him asking her why she did it. Why she hurt him, and wanted him dead. She couldn't help but cry out for him, and come running to his side as he fell to the floor.

"Jon...I...I'm sorry...I so….sorry." Clary managed in a hoarse whisper.

"You...are...pathetic…" Jonathan growled "I've come...back from...worse." Clary's eyes widened and she fell back as Jonathan started to lift off the ground.

"Jace!" Clary screamed and Jace grabbed her arms and pulled Clary back as Jonathan pulled out the dagger and black-red blood spilled out on to the already stained floor. Clary clenched her fist tight, the steel still in her left hand, and got to her feet with the help of Jace.

"Did you really think you could kill me that easily?" Jonathan laughed as he wiped blood from his lips. "Lilith gave me extra strength and power that you will never be able to defeat."

Clary gripped the steel in her hand so tight that blood began to fall from her hand and coat the Steel changing it to look more like a ruby then crystal. A rune flashed in her mind, but unlike with other runes where they felt good and powerful; this one felt cold. If she used this rune, something bad would happen, not only to the person she used the rune on, but also herself.

She stepped forward, away from Jace and dove for the dagger lying on the ground, but Jonathan was faster, and had his hand on the hilt, hers gripping a sliver just below the blade. His smile was dark, and murderous.

"Time to die little sister."

"Come on, come on." Magnus muttered under his breath as sweat collected on his brow. "just a little more and-" Click. The door was unlocked, and just in time, as Isabelle and Alec's footsteps approached.

"Magnus! The door!" Alec hollered and Magnus threw them open as the shadowhunters approached, but what he saw was not good.

"NO!" Jace screamed, at Jonathan, who had Clary in his arms.

An icy cold feeling washed over Clary as she felt the blade enter her abdomen and pain shot across her body. She didn't have long, but she did have some time, maybe just enough time.

Razial forgive me.

Clar jerked the Steel forward and drew the rune she saw not moments ago on Jonathan's body. He jerked back, leaving the blade in her stomach as his rage filled eyes bore into Clary.

"What did you do?" He growled.

"I...I'm sorry, but i won't let you hurt anyone else." Clary started feeling sleepy, but before her eyes closed, the rune turned bright red, and enveloped Jonathan in a bright light. His skin peeled back in his body appeared black and chared. The screaming was the worst part for Clary, she was sure that she would never get the sound out of her head.

Clary pinched her eyes as tight as they could go, and put her hands to her ears, but she could still feel Jonathan's pain, the excruciating pain that scorched her body completely. She felt like she was being dropped into a volcano.

"Clary! Clary!" Jace's voice rang out in her ears. "Your ok, everything is going to be ok." Blue sparks filled her vision, and her body felt numb before she slipped out of consciousness.

At first Clary was sure she was dead. She had thought this before the last time she had seen the ceiling in the infirmary, but after everything that had happened it wasn't hard for her to believe that this time it was finally over.

"She's awake!" Izzy screamed. Guess not.

"Ug… Izzy…." A wave of panic spread through her. "Jonathan...where's Jace?" Clary attempted to sit up, but Isabelle pushed her down.

"He's fine...Jonathan….well the silent brothers have him now." Izzy stated and Clary breathed out the air she had be holding back. He's dead.

Clary couldn't help but feel but relieved, but also sad. She never really had like her brother and when she was with him, he was always evil, but he was her brother...somewhere inside. Clary perked up when she heard Jace running into the room, grinning from ear to ear.

"How is sleeping beauty?" Jace asked once he was at the foot of Clary's bed. Isabelle took this as her que to leave, winking at Clary as she closed the large doors.

"I'm...better." Clary responded sitting up. Jace poured her water into a glass and handed it to her before taking a seat on the side of her bed. "I am just glad this is all over, even though… Jonathan won't be able to hurt anyone else."

"And maybe we can go back to Coney Island." Jace mused, but Clary burst out laughing.

"I don't think so. The last place I want to go is there." Clary stated with a smile. "I just want to go out to Pandemonium and Dance and celebrate the fact that we no longer have to worry about my brother."

"That can be arranged." Jace said with a smirk.
