Awareness
The first time it she noticed, she'd asked relentlessly for an explanation. She wanted to know what was happening. What her brother and the others were doing, but they always redirected her attention elsewhere. At first, she decided to ignore the signs of injuries she could see littering their faces and arms. She was trusting that her brother and friends were responsible and level headed enough to know what they were getting themselves into; and that they'd know to stop. Now she wasn't so sure that her first decision to let them be was the right one.
She'd ask again.
