Chapter 11 Night Of Terror Part 2
Juvia awoke and rubs her eyes. She flopped to bed again after looking what time it is, '03.24 AM' It has been the fifth time she woke up tonight. She couldn't get something off her mind. She tried to just push it away but the more she try, the more she fails. Deciding to wake up, Juvia slipped on something and hit her head on the floor.
"Nnnh.. ow.. huh? What's this?" She grabs the thing and looks at it closer to figure out what it is. Gasp! "G-Gray-sama.." On her hands, she is holding her precious Gray doll and couldn't help but shed tears. "J-Juvia has moved on.. Juvia has no feelings for Gray-sama. Juvia is sorry, Gray-sama." She wipes her tears and tosses the Gray doll to the other side of the room.
"J-Juvia l-loves Natsu-sama now. Juvia's sorry." She goes to the bathroom and takes off her night gown. She dips her toes in the water and soaked herself with a bubble bath. "Mmm.. so comfy.. teehee!" She gets up and grabs her usual coat and hat. She looks in the mirror and smiles.
At the guild,
'07.56 AM' Mirajane is hanging some banners and streamers with her darling sister, Lisanna. Lucy and Levy tries too hard with the balloons and Natsu and Gray.. they're not getting much done, Erza and Cana are serving up some food (A.K.A alcohol and strawberry cakes) while the water mage just spends her time sitting in the corner 'observing' Natsu 'work'.
Mirajane approaches Juvia and hands her some streamers, "Hey Juvia! Could you please help by hanging some streamers?" Juvia snaps from her daydream and smiles at the white haired take over mage, "Sure Mira-san!" She grabs the streamers and starts hanging them one by one. But then the ladder went all wobbly and the world seems like spinning.
"Watch out!"
THUMP!
Juvia opens her eyes, expecting to see some blood. But instead, she saw the color pink. "N-Natsu-sam-san?" Natsu held Juvia in his arms with a worried look, "Are you okay?"
"Y-yes. Thank you." He let her go and they stared at each other for a while until a certain red-head snatches Juvia away in a big hug, "I'm sorry I couldn't save you, Juvia! I'm such a bad friend! Punch me now!" Juvia giggled while shaking her head frantically, "N-no! It's alright, Erza-san!"
"Juvia! Are you hurt?" Mirajane approaches Juvia with Wendy on one hand and a medical kit on the other. "Juvia's okay! Really! A bit dizzy but it's alright!" Mirajane lets out a sigh of relieve and lets Wendy go, "You should sit down for a bit. When you feel a little better, you can continue. Okay?" Juvia nods and takes a seat. *sigh*
She didn't notice but a certain raven haired man was watching her from a distant (Ironic, isn't it?) 'I'm sorry. I didn't know that jealousy would hurt this much. If I had known, I would've confessed a long time ago..' Gray stares at the floor until Cana smacked him in the back, "Yo, Gray! Your clothes are missing!" *le gasp* "Where did they go?!" Haha..
Juvia sat there tapping her finger nails on the table and resting her head on the table. She was so bored. She stood up and grabbed some more streamers. Natsu approached her and holds her hand for a minute, "Be careful. Keep your balance. I don't want you to get hurt." Juvia blushed and nods at Natsu. "Juvia will be more careful this time. Don't worry." "Good" was all he said before letting her hand go and walks over to Lucy and Levy to help them with the balloons.
Juvia felt a tad jealous when he saw Natsu help them but she trusts him, so she pushes the thought away, 'Natsu-sama is just helping them. No need to feel jealous.. Keep calm, Juvia. Keep calm. Keep calm. Phew..' She sighs and grabs a another handful of streamers. 'Keep calm..'
A FEW HOURS HAVE PASSED..
Juvia stood in front of a mirror with her Alice costume. Her hair had a black ribbon on it and she was wearing a blue dress with a white apron in front. 'Juvia hopes Natsu-sama will like it!' She bites her under lip and stares at her blue eyes. *knock knock* "Come in!" Lisanna and Cana walks in with their costumes.
Cana was dressed as a gypsy fortune teller while Lisanna is dressed as a witch. "Juvia, you look awesome! Come on! Or else they'll run out of alcohol!" Cana quickly grabs Juvia's hands and literally stormed out with her while Lisanna struggles to keep up with them, "Hey guuuyys! Wait up!"
When they reach the guild, everyone was all dressed up. Even Erza was all dressed! Erza's costume was just a long ripped up beautiful white dress with red spots on the fabric and a veil on top of her hair. She was probably dressed as corpse bride. Next to her was Lucy, Levy and Wendy.
Lucy was a maid (typical) Levy was little red riding hood and Wendy was a ballerina with little mermaid Carla by her side.
"Juvia-chan! You're here! I like your costume!" Levy walks over to Juvia with a drink on her hand, "Juvia likes your costume too, Levy-san! Where's Gajeel-kun?" Levy smiles and points to the stage where the big bad wolf is currently performing on, "He's performing again. So, where's Gray?" Juvia blushes and stares at the floor.
"Juvia doesn't know. Weirdly enough, Juvia has no interest on where he's at right now." Levy looked confused but pushed the thought away. Lucy came and taps Levy on the shoulder, "Hey Levy! Hey Juvia! So, you girls wanna dance or what?" The two girls nod and heads to the dance floor.
"Hey Carla!" Happy came to the guild dressed up as a fish (Was I high on sugar when I came up with this?) and greeted Carla, "Oh, Happy.. where's your companion?" Happy gestures to the other side of the guild where Natsu is at, picking a fight with Laxus.
"So, do you want to dance with me?" Carla blushed and looked at him with surprise, "Oh um.. okay?" Happy's smile grew wide and he snatches Carla's hands and ran to the dance floor. Juvia grabs a glass of wine and slowly chugs it down. Gray spots Juvia and makes his way to her, "H-hey Juvia.." Juvia flinched and looks behind her, "Hi. So? What did you need?" Juvia's eyes looked at him emotionless and that made Gray nervous even more. She's not like this. Ever since that one mission with Natsu, she changed.
She didn't stalk him anymore. She didn't beat up girls who flirt with him. Heck, she never looks at him anymore! And that made Gray feel weird. He felt.. jealous. But he can't force her to love him. He had to accept defeat. But why was it so hard to let her go?
"Oh nothing really. Anyway, you look nice tonight. Wanna dance?" Juvia seemed shocked. She didn't see this coming. Not at all. Shouldn't she be happy? Weirdly enough, she was actually angry. All those days trying to catch his attention, he acted like she didn't exist. But now, right after she finds love, he pays attention to her! It's not fair!
He doesn't get to treat her that way! Who does he think he is?! Juvia clenched her fists and glared daggers at Gray. "No thank you." Was all that she said. She unclenched her fists and took a deep breath. Gray gasped in shock and widened his eyes, "But why not?!" He tried his best to calm down but it didn't seem to work.
Now almost all the guild member's attention were drawn to them. Juvia scoffed and poked his chest, much to everyone's surprise. "Listen here! Juvia spent days trying to catch your attention but you never even notice her! Juvia confessed her feelings to you at the Grand Magic Games but you looked disgusted at her! Now when Juvia has finally moved on you're suddenly SO interested in her! What makes you think you can just toy with someone's feelings?!"
Everyone gasped at the water mage. Juvia was now crying and all she can do now is..
Run.
That's what she did. She ran outside the pouring rain (The rain was caused by her of course) to who knows where. Natsu stood inside the room with a deadly glare. Lucy turns to Natsu's direction and sighed, "Natsu, don't. He's not worth it." Natsu scoffs and runs out the door with full speed.
Lucy sniffles and wipes her tears, "Why do you like her so much? Huh Natsu? Why can't you love me instead? *sniffle*" Lucy straightens herself and walks over to an empty table and taps her fingernails on the table until,
BAM! THUD! POW!
Lucy gasped and so did the whole guild. "Why are you here?!" The master stood up and focuses his gaze on the intruders. The guys smirked and looked around, "We're searching for Juvia Lockser and Natsu Dragoneel. REVEAL THEIR LOCATION!" The master grunts and clenches his fists, "What business do you have with my children?!" A woman with light green hair and unusual eyes walks up and laughs evilly, "SHADOWS! ATTACK!"
Just then, the shadows in the room turns into black figures and started attacking the guild. Makarov fell but stood up and yelled at Cana, "Cana! Retrieve Juvia and Natsu! Explain to them on what's going on! Hurry! This type of magic is very deadly and strong!" Cana nods and ran like her life depended on it.
On her way there, some shadows came attacking her. Fortunately, she was not greatly injured. Just a few scratches and blood. Cana keeps running and starts calling out their names.
Natsu ran from the guild in full speed trying to find Juvia. He called out her names for ten times already but, she didn't answer. He went to Amy's Barbeque, Caramade Franks', the train station, EVERYWHERE! But she was nowhere to be found. He rests his hands on his knees until he hears soft sounds of sobbing and sniffling coming from a hill.
He climbs up the tall-but-not-so-tall hill and spots Juvia crying underneath a big tree. He approaches her and sits down next to her, "Hey. So, what's up?" He smiles at her hoping that would stop her crying but it seems that it has no effect .
He places a hand on her shoulder and brings her closer to him. Juvia stops for a while and looks at him, "J-Juvia's sorry, Natsu-sama! Juvia doesn't know why Juvia just ran away like that. Juvia just *sniff* felt so mad all of a sudden. Juvia has waited so long for him to notice her but he just pretends that Juvia doesn't even exist! Now, when Juvia has finally gotten over him, he ruins it by playing with her feelings! Something in front of Juvia just snapped! And then, Juvia's legs just guided her to the rain. Now Juvia's here sitting on top of a hill, crying like there's no tomorrow! *sniff*"
Natsu hugs Juvia and runs his fingers through her hair, "I know, Juvia. It's okay. Just let it all out. You've been bottling these emotions for so long. It's okay to let it out sometimes. I'm here for you, no matter what that ice bastard says! And.. I've been thinking this for a while now but.."
Juvia leans in with her eyes full of wonder and her soaked hair. Natsu opens his mouth, "I love—"
"NATSU! JUVIA! HELP!" He was interrupted by the screaming Cana running towards them. Her clothes are all wet from the rain, her face full of cuts and bruises, and her eyes full of concern and fear. Natsu and Juvia stands up. Juvia wipes her tears, "What is it, Cana-san?! Is Fairy Tail in danger?!" Natsu's eyes widened and his jaw dropped to the ground.
Cana nods and drags both of them to the guild, "The guild's been attacked!" Juvia and Natsu gasped and they all went running to the guild.
AN: So? 2000+ words! Heck yeah! Sorry for the delayed update though.. hehe.. but it's FINALLY done! Who attacked the guild? What do they want? Why are they looking for Natsu and Juvia? Try to guess who they are in the reviews and whoever guesses it right, will be featured in the next author's note as a guest star!

Lexy: Pfft.. whatever. And why am I still here anyway? Since My Not-So-Tiny Problem is cancelled, I have nothing to do!
Lanvia: Don't worry! You will be featured in the sequel to this fanfic with Callum. The sequel is called, 'Time Travelers' you will just have to wait to find out what it's about though! (It's kinda obvious that it has something to do with time traveling though -_-")
