My Little Pony FanFic Chapter 4

At the lab Scope quickly showed the ponies the damage to Dazzleglow's head and then took them to view an array of lab photos on a bulletin board taken of the crime scene.

"Given how fractured her skull was, that type of injury would have caused a great spray of blood. Likely, much of the blood got on the killers clothes, if he or she was wearing any, as well as around the surrounding area. Here," Scope pointed to a photo, "Is the first photo from the crime scene. It is of Dazzleglow's body lying in the street shortly after she was discovered, there is no blood at all surrounding her. Notice how dry the body is…"

"That is what you mentioned before." Interrupted Twilight. "About the dryness of the body indicating that the body had been moved to that location after the rain."

"What I want to know is, why would anyone want to move a dead body? Yuck!" Asked Pinkie Pie.

"Pinkie, the killer probably moved the body to avoid getting caught." Said Rainbow Dash impatiently.

"Hang on now RD," Said AppleJack. "A body would be heavy and hard to move. Even in a dark alley, there's a high risk that someone might see them."

"Do you suppose the killer is really strong?" Asked Fluttershy.

"Or, maybe there was more than one." Concluded AppleJack.

"Could be…" Said Scope curling her lip. This gesture annoyed Applejack .

"Well, what do you think then?" Demanded Applejack. Scope turned to face Applejack and gave her a long look. Then, Scope shrugged and shook her head. "I think it's more plausible that there are two ponies involved. But then again, I'm here merely to examine the forensic evidence."

"And what are you implying –" Began Applejack.

"— Did you find anything else?" Asked Twilight cutting off Applejack before she lost her temper.

Scope looked at the ground and turned away from Applejack and headed to retrieve a file. "We found this in one of her pockets:

"I wonder where in the world that is at?" Said Rareity.

"I lived in Canterlot my whole life, and even I don't know where that is." Said Twilight.

"As it so happens," Said Scope. "it's located around the corner from where the body was discovered."

"Then we need to go there." Said Twilight.
