A knock from my door caused me to get out of bed. Once I opened the door, I saw my trusty butler outside.

He bowed before me. "Pardon the intrusion, but the ball will commence in less than half an hour. Some guests have already arrived."

"Ball?"

He bowed again. "I will leave you to prepare yourself."

Once he exit, I closed the door. I had a puzzled expression on my face. I could not believe that I would forget such a thing. I let out a small sigh and opened my closet door. Again, I wore a puzzled expression, all my elegant dresses were gone but one. Then I realized what was going on. "This is a dream."

Despite it being a dream, I took the only dress off the closet and placed it on my bed. I then began to prepare myself for the ball.

Once I was prepared, again there was a knock at my door. "Yes?"

"Pardon Lady Berliz. You're escort is here."

My face slightly flushed. M-my escort? I composed myself before opening the door to see only him. He was wearing a black tuxedo with a pink bow, as if he knew that it would go with my dress rather than wearing another color that would contrast. He no longer looked like a commoner, but more like a prince.

"Hi Missy!" He told me with his boyish smile.

I slightly coughed. "Where is Pearl?"

"He's with his date," He told me with a disappointed face. "You don't want to go with him do you Missy?"

I placed my arm around his, thinking after all this is a dream. "No." I then leaned on him. "I prefer you Dia."

His face turned red. "M-Missy—"

I didn't let him finish. I led him to the main stairs. Once we began to descend, I could feel other people looking at us both. Dia still looked rather embarrassed; I smiled.

"Platina!"

I turned to see my senior before me. "Senior Blue?"

"This is so great! You meant it when you said it would be grand!"

"Are you referring to the ball?"

She nodded and then looked over at Dia. "So you two are an item~" She teased.

I found myself looking into Dia's eyes before blushing madly. "Senior—"

"Pesky girl. What are you doing?"

Senior Blue turned around. "Green! You're not so anti-social after all!" She smiled at his rather annoyed expression.

He grabbed her arm, "You didn't answer my question. What are you doing?"

"There is no need to get somatic," I told him, refraining myself from glaring at him for forcefully grabbing a lady.

"Yes Green. I was just looking for Red," She told him and then grabbed his arm, exactly how I was holding Dia. "But now that you're here, I can dance with you!"

Her smile was bright, and I could tell Green was highly affected by it. "Pesky girl…"

They waved both Dia and I farewell. The next to approach us both was Senior Gold, Crystal, and Silver.

"I just saw her go this way," Silver mumbled.

"Crys! Dance with me!"

"Gold for the last time. Right now. Can't you see we're helping Silver find—"

Senior Gold didn't give her a chance to reply. "Now means now," He dragged her to the dance floor as well and Silver left, giving us a simple wave.

"Excuse me. Have you seen Red?" Senior Yellow asked us.

Dia shook his head. "We haven't."

She wore a sad expression. "I see. I guess he didn't come after all."

"Cheer up." I told her. "Senior Blue said she saw him. He is most likely by the refreshments."

"Thank you." She smiled and proceeded onward.

I noticed Dia looking around. "There are so many couples here."

I saw Senior Sapphire and Senior Ruby dancing on the dance floor along with Senior's Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, Gold, and Crystal in their respected pairs.

I noticed I was no longer holding onto him. "Dia?"

He scratched the back of his head. "Sorry Missy."

I shook my head. "It was rather out of character."

He put his hand inside his pocket and took out a small bag. He handed it to me.

"What is this?" I asked him with curiosity.

"Open it."

Once I opened it, I found some cookies in the shape of hearts. For an unexplained reason, my heart began to flutter, as if swarms of Beautifly and Butterfree were floating within me. Our eyes met yet again.

"Missy…" He began. "No, Platinum…"

At the sound of my full name, my heat skipped a beat. "Yes Diamond?"

He blushed at the sound of his name as well. "Since I met you I always thought you were beautiful…and elegant. Like a princess…"

I managed to control my blush, but I could not contain the smile that spread on my face.

"What I'm trying to say is…"

"Yes?"

"I love you more than food!" He blurted out. He bowed down in front of me. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

No longer could I maintain myself. Words could not come to mind. I simply embraced him and whispered a small yes.

I felt his smile. He pulled away from the hug and grabbed my hand. We joined the others in the dance floor.

I arose quickly. I called on my trusty butler.

"Yes?"

"I want you to call my seniors as well as Diamond and Pearl," I told him.

He nodded. "May I ask why for?"

"I want to organize a gathering."
