I had a review saying that the second chapter didn't make much sense, which is true, and which is why I updated this one as quickly as possible. Hopefully this will make it easier to understand.

Two days passed quickly, and the two girls had barely spoken. Santana lay on her bed, her arms crossed behind her back as she stared at the ceiling restlessly. Groaning, she pushed herself off the bed, and crossed the room and walked to Rachel's room. "Rach? Can we talk?"

She watched as Rachel rolled over and nodded, gesturing for her to join her on the bed. "What do you want to talk about?"

"The job offer I got."

"It's not an offer Santana. You accepted it." Rachel responded bitterly.

"Rach. Rae, baby. Don't do that. Don't shut me out. We need to talk about this. We've gone two days without speaking and I could hardly deal with that. I don't know how I would deal without you being in LA with me, I was wrong to even think about it. I told you I'd support you and then said I was leaving, that was wrong. I freaked. I guess part of me didn't expect you to say yes when I accepted the job. I don't want to be away from you for that long. Not now, not ever."

"I don't want to be away from you for that long either. Which is why I did some research. We both know I've always wanted to be on Broadway, and I still do someday but Anne told me what you said about not wanting to miss too much of Dro's life and I realised that you're right. I don't want to miss that much of Alexandra's life either, and I don't want them to be raised in the limelight because I'm famous. I want to make my own music for a while first, I've been writing my own songs for quite a while and I have one I really want to record. I want to come to LA with you. You've always said you would support my dreams but I meant it when I said I'd be living with you in either NYC or LA. If I get signed soon, then I will keep myself anonymous for a while and then when we agree that Dro and Alexandra are old enough, I can admit that it's me."

"Really?" Santana asked excitedly. "Are you sure?"

"I'm completely sure baby."

"So when are you coming out?"

"Well, you have to be there after Christmas and I won't be able to graduate until after Christmas because I've not prepared but I thought we could spend Christmas out there this year so that you can get settled in properly before you start your job and then I will come back for the a week before I move out there fully. Maybe Alexandra can spend that week with you until I rejoin you. We have time to work all this out though. Now, lets check on our babies and then go to sleep."

The two of them crept out of Rachel's room and smiled softly as they looked in at the two children. Rachel looked into Alexandra's room, seeing the young brunette curled up in her bed, the duvet tucked up tightly under her neck as she sleeps. Rachel approached the bed and kissed her daughter lightly on the head, tucking her hair gently behind her ear. Rachel left the room and walked across to Dro's room, looking in she saw Santana singing softly to the smaller Latino as she rocked him back to sleep. Rachel waited until Santana had placed the boy back in his bed before she walked into the room and dragged Santana out, pressing her lips gently to Santana's as they lay back down on her bed.

"Night baby."

"Night Rae." Santana breathed out through a yawn.

I hope this chapter is better than the last and explains the attempt at drama in the last chapter. Hope you enjoyed it, please review and let me know what you thought.
