Lucy woke up to the sound of Happy purring and the sound of a stream nearby. She looked around and nearly had a heart attack when she saw her ex-teammates spread out around her room. However, as she took a closer look around she remembered what happened and that she was no longer in her apartment. Matter-of-fact she had no clue as to where she was. She slowly got out of the bed she was laying and moved Happy without waking him. Her next problem was getting out of the strange place.

Lucy tip-toed around everyone and walked outside, glancing around she realized that everything seemed to be distorted but at the same time beautiful. She walked over to the stream and dipped her hands in the stream to get a drink but instead her body was racked with pain as a huge amount of magic flowed through. She let out a blood curdling scream that startled everyone awake.

Happy was the first to reach her as she fell back writhing in pain. The Black fairy soon appeared out of nowhere and started yelling at the mages.

"Why? Why did you let her drink out of the stream before her magic was depleted?" Her voice was harsh and like daggers stabbing Natsu in the heart

"We didn't, she must've walked out while we were sleeping and …"

"I don't care get her back to the cottage and watch her!" Then the fairy flew off leaving the rest to scramble to get Lucy back to the cottage

They watched her progress as she seemed to calm down and eventually go into a deep sleep. They all relaxed and quickly got ready for Lucy's training. Erza summoned her sharpest sword, while the rest began summoning their magic. Lily was going between his battle form and his cute little exceed form. Natsu was sitting away from everyone else and was concentrating a dulling the ache in heart. He knew that it would be impossible to truly forget his feelings but he also knew it was easy to bury them if it meant keeping her alive. They went back to the hut and watched as Lucy began to stir and then they walked out each hiding in different areas.

They waited patiently and had Charla watch Lucy as she began to move around the cottage. She looked for Happy who was laid on the bed knocked out. Charla watched as Lucy began to look for something to eat and signaled the others when she began to walk out the door. Lucy was soon greeted with a fireball heading her way. She barely had a chance to dodge before it hit the door. She tumbled into the brush and barely dodged an iron fist heading her way.

She slammed into a tree and nearly got impaled by a spear of ice. It nicked her shoulder leaving behind a gash in her shoulder. She grabbed it and ran deeper into the forest. She ran as fast as she could and nearly tripped over the hidden branch. She stumbled and was soon struck by lightning. Her scream filled the forest as she turned around to see her ex-guild mates standing over her each with a blank stare. Lucy backed up only to bump into Natsu. He reached down and lifted her up by her shirt. Lucy bore into his onyx eyes. They were cold no longer were they filled with the infinite laughter of the fire dragon slayer. To her they were lifeless and full of an emotion she had never seen in his eyes.

Regret.

However, as quickly as those emotions came they were gone and soon his entire body was becoming engulfed in flames. The flames were slowly drifting toward Lucy. Her eyes filled with fear but soon that fear turned into a survival instinct and she kicked him in the stomach. Natsu stumbled back letting Lucy fall to the ground, rubbing her throat she quickly got up and nearly fell again but regained her footing and headed toward the sound of water. She soon reached the edge of a waterfall and stopped but soon her yes took on the form of defiance as the others were catching up. She quickly jumped over the edge but before she could hit the water she was caught by happy as they both flew off but were quickly followed by Lily and Gajeel. Knocking Happy out of the sky the two landed on the ground with a loud thud. Both had the wind knocked out of them.

Lucy looked around and found herself surrounded and her eyes began to water for the adrenaline. She looked around for help but none was to be given to her. Happy slowly started to get up but he pulled into a tight grip. He looked up to see Wendy holding him still her eyes were red with unshed tears. Her grip tightens as Lucy began to speak.

"Why?"

They looked at her but remained silent.

"Answer me! Why would the people I trust the most try to kill me?" Her voice cracked and soon her keys glowed in response.

Soon her entire body began glow and a burst of magic shot out knocking everyone back. Natsu's eyes widened as the magic looked like billions of stars. He quickly regained his composure but he was thrown back by Loki who had come out with help of his own magic to protect Lucy. He was soon knocked back by Natsu. He slid back and attacked him again. The two were battling but Makarov sent him flying and held him down with his hand. Loki struggled as Lucy fell to the ground unconscious. Happy tried to fly over but he was still held tight by Wendy.

"Natsu take Lucy to stream and lay her in it. Erza you, Wendy and Levy clean her wounds and change her clothes. Loki and Happy come with me there much you need to know and someone the two of you need to meet and hopefully help us to understand."

As the girls and Natsu walked away with Lucy, Makarov lead everyone else back to the cottage. He motioned for them to sit as he sighed and began to shake. Happy and Loki watched with angered eyes but remained silent. The silence in the room was thick enough to cut with a knife. Laxus was the one to break the silence.

"What do you want to know?" Laxus voice a whisper and filed with regret

"Everything!" Loki growled out

"Fine." Laxus took in a breath. "This all started after the incident with Tatoras demons when this black fairy appeared in front of us. She told of a traitor or more of the lines of the traitor has no clue they were a traitor and still don't. Anyway this fairy told us that Lucy needed to be trained in her element as the celestial mage in order to protect her from whatever is coming. Though this fairy never told us what to do nor as to how to go about it until just recently and from what we saw today it has to do with pushing Lucy to the end of her rope and forcing her survive." Laxus got quite and Makarov spoke

"The black fairy is unknown to us she only appears randomly and that is either to insult us or to dictate what we do. She never told us neither her name nor her real purpose and as to what is going on but we have no choice but to trust her. She…" He cut off by a snort from happy and a bone freezing glare form Loki.

"You mean to tell me that you are putting Lucy through this hell over what a random black fairy says!" Loki shouted. His eyes were full of anger and nearly spoke again except a female voice interrupted him.

"I am not some random fairy Loki and you know it."

Everyone turned toward the direction of the voice and Loki's eyes widened. There before them stood the woman he thought he would never see again. He nearly ran over to her but his eyes soon filled with anger and he soon glare at Makarov.

"This is the fairy you talked too. This is the fairy you believed would protect Lucy she is…"

"Enough Loki they have no need to know who I am." Her voice was cold and shadows began to move in a strange way.

"Don't you dare tell me what to do after all you put me through with Aries."

"I tried to protect Aries key from that woman but you wanted to see her. So if anyone is at fault it's you not me."

"Don't you dare bring Karin into this she..."

"She was to worst master you ever had and you dare blame me for the fact that she abused you and all of her spirits. I tried to hide Aries key from her but wouldn't let me."

Loki remained silent and knew her words were true but he could not let himself believe those words. He looked back at Makarov and then glared into the ground.

"I am assuming the two of you know each other." Makarov spoke quickly

"Yes, she is one the most powerful fairies born along with five others. She known as the Queen or Empress of this realm of fairies and the other realm of pixies which is why she can shrink her body into the size you probably saw when you first met her."

Everyone nodded and the black fairy only sighed and headed over to her. She walked over giving the mages in the room a good look at her wings and her long braided purple hair. She sat down on the bed and glanced at Loki to continue. He in turn looked over to her and only muttered under her breath and began to talk.

"What Loki said is true and I am sorry that I cannot tell you my name right now for I am not even supposed to be here. I am the queen of fairies or will be but as of now I am the princess plus the original creator of Fairy Tail along with Mavis. Also I am currently at war with my fiancé the ruler of the winter fairies and many rogue fairies."

"Who is he?" Happy's voice was laced with curiosity

"I cannot tell his name for it calls him to you. Bad enough I am speaking of him now." She took in a shaky breath and continued to speak. "Lucy is a celestial mage along with her mother and the one call Yukino. Though Lucy is stronger as a celestial mage she is needed in order to ensure magical balance is restored in Magnolia."

Unknown to the rest he girls were done with taking care of Lucy and made it back with Natsu in tow. He narrowed his eyes and stormed into the cottage. His glare rivaled that of a dragon.

"What is truly going on and what do you return the balance of magic within Magnolia?"

"I mean that when the demons from Taturas began their little campaign it disrupted the magical curtains that separated realms. Only the magic from a powerful celestial mage can mend with the help of a fairy which will cost the fairy its life."

Natsu's eyes widen as he sat down in shock as it all began to make sense to him. He looked at Happy who seemed to be ready to pass out. Everyone else had the same look and he nearly walked over to happy but he had to hold back the desire to comfort his friend but it didn't work. He walked over to him rubbed his head. Erza looked solemn and gently placed Lucy next to the black fairy that got up and stated walking out the door.

"Is this the reason why you are at war with your fiancé the ruler of the winter fairies because you got involved or because you are the fairy that is going to die?" Loki's voice came out in a whisper

"Yes. There is food on the table and tomorrow you must push her even further and also thank you for the black cherries." She shrunk her body and flew off with the basket full of black cherries.

"But it has only been a day here. She was supposed to visit in once a month to check on Lucy's progress."

"I am afraid it has already been a month." Loki's voice was soft

"What?"

"All of you were sleeping for month in this cottage. I guess the pure magic of this realm drained all of you and forced your bodies to sleep for a month." Loki explained and then began to fade away.

They all looked at each other in confusion and soon fell asleep each with their own thoughts. Though one thing bothered Makarov the most and it was the feeling that the black fairy was giving them a small piece of the jigsaw puzzle that soon being created by the different magical realms that existed other than Earthland.

It is finally done. This chapter took me forever to figure out how I was going to start and incorporate enough information to help put the many pieces together but not enough to where things start making sense. There is a lot going on and the black fairy only knows everything. I will try to bring the guild in the next chapter for they are going to get several visitors and it won't bold well for Fairy Tail.
