Alright! On with the story! R&R por favor
Kuwabara was rapidly approaching Raizen's territory, and could easily see the demon guards that stood outside making sure to see to the destruction of trespassers. He slowed down, until he was just walking into the territory. He stopped once he had reached the edge of Raizen's territory and stood, wondering how he should go about getting inside without being detected. He knew he was strong, but definitely not strong enough for a full frontal assault.
"So what are you going to do, ningen?"
Kuwabara jumped as he heard Mukuro's voice right next to his ear. He gave her a side-glance glare and pondered over how to answer her.
"You could always go charging in, like you did with me, but I doubt you're strong enough to do that without Yusuke. Am I correct? Have you realized this as well?" Mukuro smirked at Kuwabara's deepening frown.
"Then again, maybe it would help for a quick entry. Of course there's no guarantee, but maybe the guards would take pity and simple take you to Yusuke himself, who must have gone to claim his place as king if he was headed this way."
Kuwabara was left dumb struck thinking over what he should do when his problem was solved for him. Yusuke suddenly appeared in front of him, fully changed into his demon form.
"Yusuke!" Kuwabara cried when he saw his friend standing before him.
"You followed me ningen? Why? Who has sent you? Was it Mukuro? I sensed her presence just at the edge, yet I find you here instead…"
"Yusuke… what happened to you? We came back, expecting you to be dead or worse, but you just attacked us! What's the deal man?!"
Yusuke raised an eyebrow, then let out a loud guffaw, "Why am I expected to know you, ningen? You hold no importance to me! Now, I don't feel like killing any humans and getting on Koenma's bad side today, so run along or I'll be forced to take you somewhere unpleasant." Yusuke flashed Kuwabara a toothy grin that showed fangs just slightly peeking out of his mouth.
"Yusuke, come on, don't you remember me? Remember Hiei? Keiko, Kurama, Atsuko? The mission for peat's sake!"
Kuwabara's frustration was evident now, and Yusuke did not like being yelled at, or the feeling those names had caused him.
"Now then human, you've started to piss me off" Yusuke grinned, before throwing a punch at Kuwabara's face.
Hiei dodged left and right as the weeds of Makai tried to take his life.
"Weak, just as I suspected. These aren't attacking at full strength..." Hiei murmured.
Suddenly, the plants stopped attacking completely. Hiei stopped in the middle of swinging his katana and stood completely still.
"What brings you here, little demon?" A voice whispered near Hiei's ear.
Hiei shivered but held his ground as he turned to be face to face with Yoko Kurama. He stared into golden orbs that were Yoko Kurama's eyes.
Such a contrast to your emerald ones… Hiei thought.
Yoko Kurama pulled away and stood at his full height, about seven feet, making Hiei feel shorter than ever.
"Hn. I was looking for you," Hiei said.
A sly smile crossed the Yoko's face, "You were destroying my plants simply to come find me? You have heard of me haven't you, little demon?"
"Yoko Kurama, correct? I think I've heard of you, famous for stealing treasures of all kind, including hearts."
The Yoko gave a hearty laugh, "No one has ever spoken to me that way. Such a brave little demon. A pity that we've never met before." The Yoko winked when he said his last statement.
Hiei turned away before Kurama could see his pale cheeks becoming a furious beet red color.
"What do you remember, Kurama?" Hiei finally asked as he turned around to face the Yoko again.
Yoko Kurama stared at him in amusement and confusion. "I don't believe I understand what you're talking about, explain yourself."
"Kurama, I... What are your last memories? What is the last thing that happened to you before this?"
Yoko Kurama winced internally, but kept a straight face on his exterior. But Hiei saw through it, he could see the flicker of sadness just barely cross the Yoko's eyes.
"Who are you?" Kurama hissed.
Hiei took a step forward, then seemed to rethink this and went back to his previous spot. A somber look appeared on his face, then disappeared just as quickly.
"Kurama, I need to know what part of your life you remem-"
Hiei was cut off by a whip snapping inched from his feet. He flitted back, gazing at Kurama, who had a cold glare fixed on him. Kurama flicked his whip again, but Hiei avoided it easily now that he wasn't distracted anymore.
"If it's a fight you want, Kurama, I won't hold back!" Hiei yelled in warning.
Kurama's only response was another snap of his whip aimed at Hiei's neck.
Hope you guys liked it! R&R pretty pleasssse
