Hope stopped reading the papers when she heard noises above them. Under her breath, she said, "Please don't tell me..."
"Are you sure it's here?" They heard a rather familiar voice from above.
"Right below here." A voice that was quite familiar to Hope said.
"But in Big Green?!" Another familiar voice said.
"I don't think it's crazy." One more familiar voice to Hope said, sounding female.
"Hurricane. Axe up." Hope said, narrowing her eyes a bit.
Hurricane throw his axe up to the ceiling where it stayed there. There were many shouts as they fell from Big Green's air ducts and into Hope's room. Dust cover the room, including some of the people in the room.
"Apetrully, now we need to fix the ceiling... and the air ducts." Hope said, staring at the four who landed on the boxes of pocky. "Also... I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU BREAK THOSE POCKY, THEN RIP YOUR HEADS OFF JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT AS I WAIT YOU DIE FROM MY VERY HANDS, SO YOU BETTER HOPE THAT YOU DON'T BREAK THOSE POCKY AND THAT I FEEL LIKE KILLING RIGHT NOW!"
Hope noticed the freaked out and kind of terrified looks from her friends and just said, "I really like pocky. A lot. I'm okay about sharing it, but now when someone eats my pocky without my permission."
They look back at the four, who were Sportiflex (Highroller's cousin who looks like him only with opposite eye colors), Harper (Queen of harpy eagle), and the infamous Zebra Brothers, while making a lot of mental notes in their heads to always ask for Hope's permission for pocky (or anything else for that matter). If they want anymore pocky after this game anyway.
"Please don't kill us!" Sportiflex shouted. "I have so much to live for! Like cooking!"
"Jumpy, rope." Hope said, narrowing her eyes a bit again.
Later... "So we live?" Harper ask, who was tied up with rope along with Sportiflex and the Zebra Brothers.
"For now." Mighty Ray said, narrowing his eyes.
"WHO ATE MY STRAWBERRY POCKY!? I'LL KILL HIM OR HER!" Hope shouted when she learned of the discovery of the pocky.
"Or maybe not." Kowloon said, kind of feeling bad for them.
An angry Hope look at the four who are now scared out of their minds now.
"I never seen Hope this mad before." Sonia said. "I guess she really likes pocky."
"Who ate my pocky?" Hope growled at the four. "And for Pete's sake, why are you even here?"
"Um... I heard you have some of those fancy Japanese treats." Sportiflex said.
"They're back at my tree house." Hope said with a deadpan face.
"I told you!" Harper shouted to Sportiflex.
"Now you know why we're here. Can we go on?" Sparky Black ask.
"Not until you tell me who got my strawberry pocky." Hope growled.
Everyone could hear the sounds of munching from behind Sparky Black, Harper, and Sportiflex. The only one they could think of right now was Sparky White. They're so dead once Hope is done with them.
"We're going to die." Sparky Black said as everyone look at his twin brother who may cause his death. "I never thought I would die because of my brother, or that I would die from a monkey."
Hanging from Sparky White's mouth was a whole pink pocky. He was making some chewing noise until he notice everyone looking at him, then he swallowed, still with that pocky in his mouth.
"What?" Sparky White said.
"That pocky..." Hope said in a low growl. "It's mine."
"Um... No?"
"Do you know anyone else who have pocky?"
"No, but it's mine now."
"It's mine first."
"I don't think you want this since in my mouth."
Hope gave him a deadpan look while wanting to kill him too. She been playing the pocky game for a while, so even from a zebra's mouth, even from the evil enemy's zebra twin's mouth, she can still take from him. Sparky White frozen when Hope suddenly took a big bite of his pocky, leaving no more him, but also when she did that, their lips touched and Hope finish it with a loud smack.
As Hope finished her pocky, Sparky White was quite pale yet with bright red cheeks. As for the others, their jaws dropped, except for Apetrully since he looks like he's going to murder the zebra any second now.
"That wasn't part of the pocky game." Hope said with a smile.
"You kissed... a zebra. You kissed a zebra. You kissed a zebra!" Alpha Girl said in disbelief, trying to make some sense of it. "Don't you know how freaky and strange that sounds coming out of my mouth?! Or from anyone's mouth for that matter!?"
Come on! She didn't want to kiss me and yet she kissed one of the Zebra Brothers!? The usually peaceful commander thought, yet he's thinking about strangling the white zebra when they're alone in a very dark alley so no one would know he done it when he even got the chance to do that. It's a real sad time when someone you love kisses the one you really hate right now. WHY?! WHY ME!?
I have no idea that he can hide his feelings so well.
"So what?" Hope said as her friends still gave her strange looks. "On with the game!"
"Do you think he's okay?" Sparky Black said, looking at his brother with some worry on his face.
"I'm pretty sure he is." Harper said.
Sparky White's eye twitched a bit as he stammered nonsense with blushing cheeks.
"Maybe..." Sportiflex said, unsure about his zebra friend's condition.
"Why do you want those Japanese treats you said earlier?" Hurricane ask.
"I think they taste better than normal treats."
"Why do you think Japanese treats taste better than normal treats?" Archer ask.
"Well... I just think so."
