Chapter 16- Survival of the Arrival

~Tsunade's POV~

"Yamato is back from his mission correct? I need him today." I asked Shizune as she helped me sort out some new documents I need to work on.

"Yes m'lady. He arrived back this morning."

"Good. Kakashi is up and around too right?"

"Yes m'lady."

"Okay I will send Gai and his team out on this mission to the land of rice." I said as I organized the plans for the simple escort mission for Gai."

"Lady Tsunade look!" Shizune suddenly said as she saw the formation of dark clouds over the forest.

I turned my chair and looked out the window and past the village to the forest ahead and calmed myself before summoning the Anbu Black Ops.

"Hai Hokage sama." Obotski the leader in the white cloak with 6 black coated anbu behind him spoke.

"The plan sets out today. We must go now." I said with urgency as I gathered the scrolls from my desk.

"Shizune, get Kakashi, Yamato, Asuma, Izumo, and Ibiki and meet us outside the gates. Go immediately."

"What about Kurenai Sensei?" She asked quickly.

"She is on maternity leave since she is now pregnant." I said before leaving with the scrolls close in hand and the anbu close behind.

I ran with upmost speed through the village and heard some worried villagers asking why I was in such a hurry and what was happening.

"We don't have much time." I said to the anbu behind me as we approached the spot under the clouds.

This was far enough away from the village that it shouldn't damage it if something bad were to happen.

"Lady Hokage, the rest are arriving." Obotski said as Shizune and the rest of the Jonin arrived.

"What's happening Lady Tsunade? Why are we here?" Izumo asked as they stood with me in the forest.

"Tsukiko Akamine will be arriving from hell today. She has informed me of a plan that allows her to escape but she said that she might not be herself anymore and very dangerous due to the reaper chakra she possesses. Yamato, when she arrives, I will release the summon she gave me in this scroll. Once she is unconscious, I need you to make the prison. Everyone else, do not interfere unless she escapes the summons that she gave me. You are merely as a last resort." I said.

"Hai!" I heard everyone say from behind me as I looked at the clouds.

~Kakashi's POV~

She found a way to escape? How come she didn't tell me about it the night she came to me in the hospital? What does she plan on doing? What does the Hokage mean by her not being the same anymore?

"She's coming home Kakashi. I can't wait to see her again." Kurenai said from next to me.

"Yea, we'll be a team again just like before." Asuma said with a smirk as they tried brightening up the mood.

Suddenly an unusually heated breeze came through the woods. The clouds darken and lighting threated to break the clouds open.

"Get ready." Tsunade said as she unwrapped a scroll she held in her hand.

~Yamato's POV~

I'm worried…if Tsunade said that Tsukiko is as strong as 4 jinchurikis then my prison may not hold her very well. I can barely keep Naruto stable when performing my barricading jutsu to keep the nine tails in. If she is as dangerous as Tsunade said she is, then we may be in a bit more trouble than we can handle. Even with the great number of skilled shinobi gathered.

~Izumo's POV~

The lighting crashed into the clouds violently. The temperature rose and none of us really knew what was to happen as soon as Kiki-chan arrives.

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning bolted down in front of us and a small hole was made. Just after it struck, a cloaked figure pierced out of the ground with great power and speed. The hood was pushed back in the wind and a beautiful mane of brilliant red hair swayed in the wind. She landed and looked at the group with blood red eyes switching from black to red.

"Tsunade, there is a demon inside me, summon my wolves! As soon as Ulva comes out, tell her to attack my shadow." I heard the familiar voice of Tsukiko say.

The group looked utterly shocked but Tsunade did as she was told and unraveled the scroll. We stood back a few step and watched as Tsunade drew a line of blood across the summoning scroll and pushed it into the ground.

"Summoning Jutsu!" She said and sure enough, we heard a bit of a rumble and suddenly, 5 giant wolves with tails made of fire sprung from the ground.

They growled loudly and with the most fearful sound. It was as if they were growling at each for dominance of Tsukiko. They sounded much more loud and scary than Kakashi's hounds.

The wolves growled and immediately attacked Tsukiko. One bit down and tried to tug at the right leg, another bit and stretched the left hand downwards. Then a silver wolf only had its head out of the ground but he had a good grip on her left leg. The last one, a brilliant white wolf with blue and silver markings, came and sunk its teeth in her right shoulder. She screamed in agonizing pain but then growled back at the wolves and tried clawing at the white wolf's right arm but he didn't ease up his grip.

"Ulva! Attack the shadow and take the demon out of Tsukiko." Tsunade ordered one of the wolves and sure enough, the wolf bit down into the shadow and pulled out a dark red figure.

The wolf growled at it and Tsukiko yelled for us to kill it.

Kakashi was the first to attack it with Chidori but that didn't do much damage and Ulva stated that we had to kill it using a water jutsu. However, we were not near any water so two of the anbu and Asuma drove the demon farther into the woods and closer to the lake.

My attention was directed back to Tsukiko when she screamed in pain again. She breathed heavily and suddenly tried to escape the wolves. They bit down harder for a better grip and Ulva bit down on her shadow and that stopped her cold. Tsunade then nodded at Ibiki and he ran up and touched Tsukiko's head and she suddenly blacked out.

Just as the wolves let go, the bloodied figure of Tsukiko was captured inside the wooden prison that Yamato formed. The remaining anbu sat around the prison and did a lock in jutsu were the prison would be sealed so none could enter or escape.

I heard some rattling within the prison but Yamato said that she wasn't moving, the chakra inside is so intense that it's trying to break out of her body.

"Hey! What's everyone doing here? Grandma Tsunade why are you out here!?" I suddenly heard Naruto say as he appeared from some bushes behind us.

"Naruto, good we may need you. We have Tsukiko but she's currently trying to control the demonic chakra inside of her. She severed the link she had with the devil so now she's trying to balance the chakra on her own." Tsunade said as she looked seriously at Naruto.

"Hey it's Calcifer! It's been a long time!" Naruto then said as he approached the white wolf.

The wolf smiled and rubbed his head into Naruto's torso.

"We must keep Tsukiko contained but this is a very dangerous situation. If she were to escape this, we have to kill her." Calcifer then said seriously.

Oh god the wolf can talk…

"WHAT!? Not a chance! I'm not killing Tsukiko! I'm not killing my older sister!" Naruto then said as he looked angrily at the wolf.

"Trust me Naruto, none of us want to do this but it will have to be done if she can't pull through." Kakashi then said.

"You too Kakashi Sensei!? I thought you had feelings for her!" Naruto then said as he looked angrily at Kakashi.

WHAT!? Kakashi and Tsukiko?

"Now is not the time to argue about this. Just do as your told Naruto or I'm sending you back to the village." Tsunade said.

Suddenly, Asuma and the other anbu arrived and the Hokage stood with her arms crossed. She has the tensest posture right now than I have ever seen. The prison rattled and suddenly the wolves growled.

"What's going on?" Naruto asked with his anger still intact but he was more serious than angry.

"Like your Hokage said, she's trying to fight it. The chakra is very hard to maintain unless she is linked to the devil. She is trying to make it so she has complete control and that she would be able to control it on her own. She's doing literally 3 things at once and she won't be able awake for very long if she makes it through this. The devil kept the chakra balance and now that she is on her own, she has to try and manage it herself." Calcifer stated as he crouched in an attack stance.

"How will she be able to control this?" I suddenly asked in curiosity.

"She has a jutsu she developed awhile back. She just needs to control the chakra long enough to wake up and preform it." The wolf said as he looked at the prison.

"How is she doing Yamato?" Tsunade then asked.

"The chakra is incredibly powerful Hokage sama…if she doesn't control it within the next ten minutes, then we will need to think of something else because we won't be able hold this up any farther. We would need a few minutes to rest before starting again." He said as he concentrated with his palm extended out to keep the prison up.

"If she wakes up and breaks free, we will attack and hold her down again until they can get the prison back up. It will be easier when her chakra runs out." Calcifer then said.

"She can try waking up all she wants. That mind lock jutsu I put her under is supposed to last for at least 24 hours." Ibiki said as he had his arms crossed next to Tsunade-sama.

"You forget who we are dealing with. She is the master of the mind. She will break free of it much sooner than you think." The female black wolf said from the other side of Kakashi.

"Evaylo is right. We may need more help." Calcifer said.

"She gave me a jutsu that would stop her for good if she were to get out of hand. She said it would instantly kill her." Tsunade added.

"Seriously! What a drama queen! I swear she just has a death wish some times. She forgets our abilities as demon wolves. Either way, she won't die or destroy your village. She's underestimating herself and us." The grey wolf stated with a bright attitude.

"How could she give such a jutsu to you? That doesn't make any sense…" Calcifer said as he looked puzzled.

"Either way, you don't need that. We've got this." Evaylo said.

"If worse comes to worse, bring up Alveeska and Gargos. They will be able to help." The male black wolf said as he walked next to Calcifer.

"The prison only has one more minute Tsunade sama! We can't hold it much longer." Yamato said as sweat drizzled his face and neck.

Calcifer suddenly barked once with great authority and suddenly the ground shook for a second.

"What was that!?" Naruto asked with shock.

Unexpectedly, a big red wolf with black markings and another black wolf with blue markings shattered the ground as they jumped out and shook their coats out.

"What's up Cal?" The red one said with a deep voice.

"Kiki's breaking free. Try taking as much reaper chakra as you two can when we restrain her." Calcifer ordered.

"How long do we have?" The black female one asked.

"NOW!" Yamato said in shock just before the prison shattered into a bunch of shredded wooden bits and a dark red chakra like the nine tails flared from Tsukiko.

The wolves jumped into action but Tsukiko performed a strong chakra punch to the male black wolf that tried attacking her leg and his body cracked like ice and he cried in pain before flying into the forest with great speed.

She concentrates her chakra into her fists like Lady Tsunade! Her strength is remarkable…to be able to send a wolf as big as that one so fast into the woods is unreal.

The rest of the wolves were fast enough to get to her before she could attack again and restrained her like before. This time, the red and black wolf bit down on her thighs and the red chakra around her was being absorbed by them!

"What!? Are they absorbing her chakra!?" I asked.

"Yes. They are basically stealing her chakra by absorbing it. That is their ability." Ulva said as she kept a good grip on Tsukiko's shadow.

"It's like your impossible ability to grip the shadow and use it to gain physical control. You are kinda like the Nara Clan in our village." Kakashi said as kept his gaze on Tsukiko but held a kunai in one hand and stood in a battle stance.

He seemed a bit off. He's been tense this whole time…maybe Naruto was right about the relationship between them.

"Do you have a member amongst you that is a medical ninja?" Ulva then asked.

"Yes. Ariko is the only other medical ninja aside from me here." Tsunade said.

"Good, can she go and take a look at Bardou? He's the one that was hit." She mumbled as she concentrated on keeping the shadow still in her mouth.

"Hai." One of the anbu said before going to tend to the wounded wolf from before.

~Naruto'a POV~

Kiki-chan's injuries are bad. It looks like she lost a lot of blood from even before I arrived. I can't stand to watch this…I don't want to lose her…She's the only person from my childhood that actually loves and took care of me…she took me in when everyone saw me as a monster.

Tsukiko suddenly screamed as the chakra was continuously leaving her body and her eyes looked angrily at the wolves. They were completely black and looked like one look from them would kill anything in a heartbeat. I looked at the team and saw everyone was ready to fight her if she were to escape the wolf jaws.

Everyone has a strange look on their face…I can't tell if they are worried about her or disgusted with her. That look looks a little like the looks I would get from the villagers when I was little. It makes me feel uncomfortable.

"Fight it Kiki! You can do it! You can beat this Onee-san!" I yelled to her.

She growled at me like she was going to kill me…it was actually quite frightening. Then something surprising happened.

"N..Naruto…" She mumbled as she closed her eyes and moaned in pain.

She gasped for breath and tried to calm herself down. She kept blinking and each time she did, it was as if the black covering her sight was clearing and slowly but surely, the beautiful green orbs gleamed and looked deeply at me.

"You're…you're right little brother…I've got this." She slowly said between breaths as she concentrated.

"Aveeska, Gargos, let go now…you've absorbed enough." She said as she looked at the two wolves in front of her.

They hesitated a moment and then slowly unclenched their jaws. I could see their long teeth slowly rise from her skin until all that was there were holes. She immediately bled out and moaned again in pain. She continued to breathe heavily as she tried concentrating again and closed her eyes. The red chakra that was inflamed around her had died down and she looked to be normal again.

"You're slipping Tsukiko, finish it!" Calcifer mumbled from her shoulder.

"My arms…let my arms go. Keep hold of my legs and thighs but let give me my arms." She said as she tried to control her breathing.

Sweat beaded and drizzled down her cheeks as she tried controlling her breathing. Her body must have gone into shock by now by all of her blood loss.

"Tsunade please don't let her die." I said to Grandma as she looked at Tsukiko with a pained expression.

"Not on my watch. She's not going anywhere." She said seriously as she kept her gaze on Kiki.

Tsukiko's arms bled as heavily as her thighs and legs but she still worked to form some hand signs.

"Gargos, Aveeska, and Ulva, draw the ritual with my blood around me." Tsukiko said weakly.

The wolves used their paws and dipped them in her blood before drawing some sort of diagram on the ground around her. This kinda looks like the mark on my belly that keeps my Jinchuuriki imprisoned.

"Ninja art…Multi-lock chakra prison jutsu." Tsukiko stated right after the rest of the wolves quickly released her.

She held her stance long enough to complete the jutsu. The blood markings on the ground slithered up her legs and settled around her belly button only slightly visible from the cloak. Her mark looked similar to mine but I could see different symbols on hers than mine.

Kiki stood for a few more minutes and just looked at us.

"Itcha itcha paradise….volume 23.." She said before crumbling towards the ground.

Kakashi caught her with inhumane speed and laid her gently on the ground.

"Itcha Itcha paradise volume 23!? Seriously!? This is not the time to be reading and goofing off!" I yelled in confusion.

"Those are her code words. She basically told us that she is no longer a threat." Asuma said as we watch Tsunade at work.

"How bad is it Grandma?" I urgently asked as I kneeled next to Kakashi.

"She is a lot worse than I could have imagined. She not only lost a whole lot of blood but the chakra inside burned her muscles and internal organs. It's like she was filling with lava." Tsunade said as she immediately worked on healing her.

"If we didn't bring Gargos and Aveeska, she would have died from chakra burn. The reaper chakra is hotter than molted lava. If she can't control it, it would have burned her inside out." Ulva stated.

"Return to hell now. I will look after her but you need to focus on Bardou. He looks like he will need as much rest as possible." Calcifer said he looked out and saw the large black wolf limping back with the cloaked anbu ninja next to him.

"Make sure nothing happens to her little brother." Avaylo said as she rubbed her head into Calcifer's neck as a form of hugging.

The wolves gathered around the wounded one and suddenly disappeared in a large blaze of fire.

"Izumo! You and Shizune go find me Sakura! I need her here immediately." Tsunade then said as she continued working.

"Hai Hokage sama!"

They left in a flash and suddenly Kakashi looked worried.

"She is having heart failure. I've restored the blood count but her heart has taken way too much damage from the charka. I need Sakura to help me with the burned muscles and organs while I concentrate on her heart. One slip up and we'll lose her." Tsunade suddenly said with a very serious tone.

"Naruto…let's step back and give her some space." Kakashi said as he grabbed my shoulder.

"I'm staying by her side." I said in an non-arguing tone as I looked at Tsukiko. She was awake and breathing heavily.

Suddenly she coughed some blood up and it streamed down her cheek and neck till it stained the earth. Kakashi stood up and walked farther away to stand with Asuma and Kurenai sensei. I could faintly hear them speaking but the bits that I did hear were just the updates on Kiki's condition and Kurenai sensei saying how she will pull through.

A few moments later, Sakura showed up with Izumo sensei and Shizune. I had to move then because Sakura gave me that "give us space" look…she knows me too well. I got up and watched them from a few feet away.

"Tsu..nade…" I heard Kiki say very quietly.

Everyone turned and directed their attention to Tsukiko again.

"Don't talk just yet Kiki sensei. You're still severally injuried." Sakura said with a small comforting smile.

"Reminds you of the past…huh Tsunade-chan." Kiki said as she weakly smiled at Grandma.

No one has ever addressed grandma Tsunade like that…Tsunade-chan.

"I saved you then and I can do it again so don't you give up on me." Tsunade said as she continued to concentrate on her heart.

"I have faith in you onee-san." Tsukiko said as she closed her eyes.

"What's happened? Why is her eyes closed!?" Kurenai suddenly asked in a bit of a panic.

"It's okay. She's just passed out." Sakura assured as they continued.

"So she's going to be okay?" Kakashi asked first since I was going to ask.

"Yes. She just needs to rest. That jutsu took a lot out of her and she's experiencing some intense shock of the brain and body from all the chakra damage." Tsunade stated.

"I've never seen chakra do that to a person…not even you didn't have the same side effects from the nine tails chakra, right Naruto?" Asuma sensei asks me.

"My body becomes tired and I do have some external burns but at the same time, I have a Jinchuuriki that heals me…Tsukiko doesn't. She also has a different chakra type than any of us so she will have been dealt more damage anyways." I said as I kept my gaze on her.

Please pull through…onee-san.

Wow…this was a lot to fit in one chapter. I wanted to start making up for not writing for so long. Kakashi is sure acting a little weird…I mean he left Kiki's side when Naruto stayed. What is he thinking! IDK I'M JUST THE AUTHOR!
