Helo guys, thanks so much for reading still, I appreciate all of the support you guys have given this story. It feels great to be getting such great feedback from all of you. This chapter is going to be so cute and fluffy so I hope you all enjoy it!

It's early December and the bitterness of New York winter has officially set in. Liam hates the cold. Rachel always bundles him up in a big, puffy, winter coat along with three or so blankets and he'll still get really fussy. Finn and Rachel are beyond excited for Liam's first winter they have so much to show him and teach him about, snow, Christmas in Central Park, their first family Christmas card that will include him in it. Rachel also bought Liam a bunch of new winter clothes. Yeah, it's safe to say winter is the Hudson family's favorite season.

"Oh Sweetie, you have to quit your fussing, I know it's cold, but it's winter and New York, so it can't get much warmer than this. I guess your daddy and I should have brought you up in LA, Huh?" Rachel teases kissing Liam's tiny, cold cheek, and continuing their walk back to the house.

"There you are, that was a long walk." Finn says.

"It was shorter than I wanted, but our son hates the cold, so, you know."
"He's a true New Yorker, and he still hates the cold more than we do."

"Please, he gets it from you, remember how much you whined your first winter here, Kurt and Santana were dangerously close to taping your mouth shut before I stopped them."
"Yeah, I suppose I whined just a bit too much, I should have known it would be cold."
"Could you get him all warmed up, I need to start getting his dinner ready for him."
"Yeah, of course."
Liam is still fussy when Finn takes him, and cold too.

"What's the matter Buddy? Why's it taking you such a long time to warm up, huh?" Finn says as he takes Liam's blanket and wraps him in it.

"Shh, Liam, I gave you your blanket, it' okay you'll be warm in a minute. You take forever to warm up, mommy probably spoils you too much with all those blankets when we are home. Huh, what do you think about that? Is it true, Buddy?"
Finn smiles when he looks over at Liam. He's sound asleep, his tiny hands gripping the corner of the blanket.

"I have his dinner ready… Oh well isn't this just the most precious thing." Rachel says turning to see Liam sleeping with the blanket still curled under his fingers.

"I know the weather must have been so cold it wore him out."

"He's growing way too fast, just look at him."
"He's still going to be little for a long time don't you worry."

"But-"
"I know, he's your baby boy and you don't want him to grow up so fast."

"Yeah, he's getting his own little personality and I just think it is the most adorable thing."
"He's mostly you."
"Really?"
"Yeah, he's bright and cheery and always smiling, plus he's a major cuddler, just like you.

"I think he'll be up soon, he never naps long."

Soon enough Liam wakes up his eyes wondering all over the place and then they stop right at Rachel.

"Hey Sweetie, did you have a good nap?" Rachel asks Liam and she carries him around the living room and sits him down to feed him dinner. She's feeding him spinach and she giggles when he crinkles his tiny nose in disgust.

"I know you don't like your spinach my sweet prince, but don't you want to grow up to be strong and healthy? That cannot happen if you don't eat your veggies." Rachel teases.

"Don't worry, I can never get him to eat his veggies either. He's jut going to fuss like every other kid on this planet."

"I kind of hope it knows tonight, I've been so anxious for Liam to see his first snow, I think he will love it."
"I know, he is always just a curious little guy, he'll love snow."

"We should take him out to play in it, he'll love that."
"You know Rach, I never thought I would get you to agree to taking our son out to play out and the snow at eight and a half months old."
"Why not, we love winter, were winter people our son should be brought up to be that same way."

"Okay, just be ready for me to help him throw a bunch of snow torpedoes at you."
Rachel laughs. "Snow torpedoes, really you can be such a kid sometimes."

"I know, but hey, you are the one who always talks about how that makes me a good parent."
"But it does, you are just so good with him, like really, really good. He loves you so much, he's always smiling at you."
"Not as good with him as you are. You are such a good mother to him. He's a mommy's boy and it is just so freaking adorable."

"Look, he's so fidejety! We should let him play for a few minutes."

After a few minutes, Liam is standing up all by himself and Rachel beams at him with happy tears in her eyes.

"Oh you are such a big boy, don't grow up so fast. Sweetheart, Mommy's so proud of you sweet boy."
"I can't believe he's already standing up on his own, he's gotten so big."

Liam falls backwards and Rachel immediately rushes over to him.

"Oh, I'm so sorry baby boy, it's okay , it's okay Mommy's got you it's alright. Shh, there's no need to cry, I know you hurt your head but Momma's going to get it all taken care of and make you feel better."
"See, I told you you're so good with him, always the one to take care of him when he gets himself hurt."
"It's my job, I just want to make sure I'm making sure he's doing ok, because he's so special to us."

"I know, he's just a big ball of precious."
"He's a good boy, aren't you Liam? You love your mommy and daddy, don't you?"

"I think he's pretty much the sweetest kid you will ever meet, I'm serious."

"He gets it from you."
Finn smirks. "Stop that, he totally gets it from you."
"Ok, ok, I guess he gets it from the both of us."
"Don't you just love when he looks at you like that, I do, it's just the cutest thing I've ever seen in my entire life."
"Finn, I think we can agree that we think everything that our adorable son does is the cutest thing that we've ever seen."
"Touché ."

A few minutes later Finn and Rachel can both see snow falling outside. They both grin so widely that it almost looks a little strange, but they both love winter in New York, and it's Liam's first time to see snow, so needless to say they can't contain their excitement. Finn immediately picks up Lian and carries to the window so that he can see the snow.

"Look Buddy, it's snowing! This is your first time seeing snow, it's pretty cool, huh?" Finn says giving Liam a big smile. The curious little boy's eyes light up immediately.

"I know, it's so pretty, isn't it?"
"Look at how big his smile is, I always knew he would love the snow." Rachel comments.

"He does love snow, it's going to be too late at night once it stops snowing, so I guees we will have to wait until tomorrow to take him out to play in it."
"I think he's going to fall asleep early tonight, he's been sleepy all night long, but I bet he'll be wide awake when we take him out to play tomorrow."
"I bet you are going to put him in his cozy pajamas tonight , aren't you?"
Rachel smiles. "Why, of course I am. He's always getting way too cold at night when he's asleep, we don't want him to be freezing his little fingers and toes off at night, now do we?"
Finn smiles "Of course not, we want him to be all warm and cozy."
"That's right, because we know the poor boy hates to be so cold."

Rachel carries Liam to his room, sets him in his crib, and watches his eyes flutter as he falls asleep almost instantly. Then, she returns to the living room to rejoin Finn.

"He asleep?" Finn asks Rachel.

"Yeah, he fell asleep in no time." Rachel replies.

"Good, he'll need his sleep if we are going to take him to play in the snow tomorrow."
When Rachel gets Liam up the next morning he practically looks at her as if he's been waiting for her.

"Good Morning Liam, let's go get you some breakfast and then Daddy and I are going to take you out to play in the snow. Would you like that, I bet you would I can already tell how much you love the snow, it'll be so cold out though. Don't worry though, I'll have you all bundled up in all kinds of warm clothes, I promise." Rachel says as she carries Liam out to the living room where Finn is patiently waiting on them.

"Oh, there you are. I thought Liam would have been up a little earlier." Finn says.

"I'm going to feed him but then we should take him out to play in the snow."

"Yeah, he's going to love it."
After Breakfast Rachel bundles up Liam as warm as she can, and then makes sure she won't freeze either.

"Look at all the snow Sweetie, it's so pretty I knew you'd love it." Rachel says as Liam starts to rech out curiously at all of the snow.

"Here you want some? Be careful it's really cold. Mommy doesn't want you freezing your fingers off." Rachel warns sticking a tiny pile of snow in Liam's small hand.

"Here, let me take him, I have a good idea." Finn says.

"Alright, you go on ahead and have your fun, I know you've been waiting for this day for a long time."
Finn tries his best to help Liam make a good snow ball, and then he starts his master plan.

"Hey Rach, come here, I think Liam wants you to play with him." He says.

"Okay, I'm coming." Rachel says, and then Finn throws snowballs at her and tries his best to let Liam help too.

"Finn! why would you let our son do that?! That was so not funny!" Rachel squeals.

"Well, I had to teach him about snowball fights sooner or later, didn't I?" Finn says with a smirk.

"Yeah, I suppose you did."
"Did I ever tell you I love New York snow?"
"Yeah, you have, several times."
