Hey hey hey~ I'm backie backie back~!

So, before all of my blah blah blah words, I just want to say... (DRUMROLL) MERRY CHRISTMAS, PEOPLE! Also, have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!(In case I wasn't able to update on New Year)

So, yeah... I'm pretty much busted for not updating faster~ I don't have a choice, really... My schedule is going really really HECTIC and my body barely keeps up so I doze off really quick~

And my family loves to travel so we traveled a lot these days because my Otto-san(Father) came home from abroad to have a vacation with us~

I'm really really going to try to update faster~

OF TO THE STORY!

Jellal's POV

I stared at Erza with shock. The boy that I was looking for was here all along, the boy who would make Erza happy was there beside her all along. I…. I was him, I was Yoshi. The ticking sound of the clock mixed with the sound of our breaths was the sound I could only hear. I was so confused. There were so many questions running on my mind, I could barely know the answer to one of them. How come…. How come I don't remember any of it? How come I never got a glimpse of those memories before? I looked back at Master's pained face.

"I…. I don't understand." I said, weakly. His eyes shut for a moment and let out a sigh. His cat ears were twitching and as he opened his eyes again, I was scared to hear the truth out of his mouth. I felt really guilty, it was like being stabbed on the chest.

"After you left the Scarlet residence, you were kidnapped by the Oracion Seis." He said, silently. "You were almost killed but thankfully, you were spared."

"What do they want from me?" I asked, abruptly with a voice a little louder than it should be. I covered my mouth with my hands to avoid waking Erza up. If she heard any of this, I don't think I could handle the situation.

"They wanted to kill you." He said, shortly.

"Why?" I raised an eyebrow with a confused look. I haven't done anything wrong before, I haven't killed anybody so I don't deserve to be killed neither do I break any rules of my Kingdom.

"Because the fates saw that….." his voice faded and the video flickered. "Time is running out. Protect her no matter what. She'll be the key to the death of Zeref so please, protect her."

"I will but-" the video disappeared before I could ask what the fates said. Everything seems to be a bit clearer now but a question might be answered, the bunch of other questions opened. I looked at Erza and stroke her hair. I placed a soft kiss on her forehead. As I was withdrawing back, her hand grabbed mine roughly and tightly. I froze as her mouth moved.

"Jellal, tell me the truth" she said and raised her head to look straight into my eyes. "Are you….. Are you Yoshi?"

I pursed my lips and caressed her hand. I looked at her hand, refusing to stare back into her eyes. I heard her sigh and I closed my eyes. I wasn't ready to tell her but I was so dumb that I didn't notice that she was awake and heard everything. I felt her other hand moved and slapped me on my left cheek. I refused to hold my cheek and lessen the pain, instead I looked her in the eye.

"Please, tell me." Her eyes turned misty and I feared that those tears would fall so I decided to tell the truth.

"Yes, I am Yoshi" I said, softly. She locked her eyes into mine. Eternity passed, nothing was heard. After an eternity, she smiled and leaned into me. She pressed her lips into mine and I was surprised with her action. She held my hand dearly and intertwined her into mine. I looked into her closed eyes and smiled. I kissed her back and after a minute, we stopped to breath. She smiled and hugged me.

"I missed you, Yoshi" she whispered. "I really do. I knew from the start that you were him. You and him are very similar."

"I miss you too, Er" I returned her hug. I hugged her tighter, taking in her scent. "I promised you, I will be back right?"

"I knew you were going to come back," she sobbed on my shoulder. "I knew you were. Promises are not made to be broken, right?"

"Promises are not made to be broken." I repeated, comforting her. We stayed the night hugging each other. I don't want to let her go, I don't want to leave her, I don't want to hurt her. She was the girl that I fell in love with, once and for all. She slept so soundly. I could feel her heartbeat against my chest. Words are not needed to tell her how…. how much I love her. I kissed her forehead and smiled.

I remembered how much danger she is in now that she has awakened her powers. A powerful Titania is always wanted bride-to-be by the Dark Lords because they knew that their offspring will be far more powerful than the creator of magic. I frowned at the thought. Sooner or later, Zeref would attack again and try to make her say the vows. It was known in my world that Zeref nearly killed the creator of magic with his bare hands. However, Mavis, the powerful Light warrior protected the Creator and was killed by the Dark Lord. It was said that Zeref wept for more than a century when he realized that he killed the only person who made him changed. Mavis and Zeref loved each other dearly but when Zeref became too thirsty for blood and Dark Magic, Mavis left him which only made him crave for deaths.

No, I thought, looking to Erza's sleeping figure. I won't let him touch you, Er.

"I'll protect you, Erza." I kissed her forehead and she snuggled to my chest. "I will with all my power, even if it would mean losing my life."

A week later

Nobody attack her or me for seven days. I finally recovered and was able to be out of the hospital today. It felt good walking on the streets with my hands intertwined with Erza's. She was far more happier than the Erza I first met. The Erza I first met(after I lost my memories) was dull but now, she would smile every now and then. I stopped walking and smiled. She turned to look at me and I felt butterflies flutter on my stomach as she smiled. Her chocolate brown eyes twinkled and I swear, I could almost see the stars in them, the beautiful ones.

"What?" she asked, slightly chuckling at the end of her sentence. "Was I walking too fast?"

"Nope." I shook my head, chuckling. I leaned on her and smiled. I looked into her eyes and the smile turned into a smirk. "I changed you, didn't I?"

"Shut up." She blushed and looked away. I smiled and took her hands. We started dancing in the streets, a "waltz" to be exact. It's good that it was almost isolated except for us, dancing on the streets. It was past midnight and we just got back from our date. I twirled her around and as she twirled, I realized I never asked her to be my girl so I took the chance. We stopped dancing and she giggled on my chest.

"Hey," I said, softly and she let out a "hmm?" in response. I stroke her hair with my fingers and smiled at the softness. "I realized that I never formally asked you to be my girl."

"No need. I already said-" she said but I cut her with my words.

"So I wanted to ask you." She pulled back slightly from the hug to look into my eyes. "Will you be my girl? Will you, the beautiful Titania of my life, marry me on behalf of Yoshi?"

"No need to tell me the past with you…. or Yoshi, perhaps to make me say-" she said but I smiled and cut her again.

"If I have a chance and you can be my girl, twirl three times and if I don't really…. Have a chance, twirl once." I said and she looked into my eyes. She caressed the back of my hand with her thumb and sigh. She twirled once and my heart sunk. She stayed in place and looked into my eyes with sadness. I closed my eyes to fight the tears that are forming. How could I raise my hopes to the highest level that she could be mine when in fact, she was a princess and I was only her knight.

Then I felt her squeeze my hand….

The softness of her hand made it only harder to stop the tears that are forming…

I felt my arm being lifted…

I heard her steps

"Two" she said, softly but I still closed my eyes.

The process was repeated again…

"Three," she said and I hugged her tight, nearly making her fall.

"You scared me!" I whispered. She giggled and hugged back. I opened my eyes and let the tears fall. I pulled back slightly to look into her eyes and I pressed my lips into hers. I felt my heart beat faster than it should be. It was funny that I always felt this way when I'm with her, the faster heartbeats, the butterflies that fluttered on my stomach, the happiness that I felt when I see her…. they are all connected.

"I love you." I said softly after pulling back from the kiss.

"I know." She said and smiled. "I love you too."

A few hours later

She fell asleep immediately after she got changed. I just took a bath and my hair is still wet so I don't think it's nice to go to bed with wet hair. I was watching some old movie all about loving again while she slept. I was wondering how normal people without powers could love so…. so obsessive? While we, the specials, could barely keep the relationship stable for years without expecting someone attacking every now and then.

I turned my head to look at the sleeping figure of Erza on her four poster bed. I smiled and almost jumped when I heard someone knocking on the door. I stood up and peeked at who knocked but to my surprise, there was no one. But there was a basket left outside the door. I looked to my left and right.

"Hello?" I said and no one replied. I shrugged and took the basket. I went inside and opened it. I saw a cupcake and a card. I took the card and opened it.

Dear Jellal Fernandez,

I know you've been through hard times….

This is just a reward for protecting me…

I love you

Love,

There was no name written under the Love part so I grew suspicious. But those words, I'm sure it was written by Erza. I smiled and took the cupcake. I walked towards Erza and kissed her forehead tenderly. "I love you too." I said and smiled. I took a bite of the cupcake and smiled at its sweetness. It was made up of chocolate and vanilla. Seconds later, I felt being poisoned. I choked and gasped for air. I tried to reach out for the water but it was too late. My vision turned black.

The next thing I knew was that…

I was in the body of the man I hated the most

I was in the body of...
