After Kara and mason finished their food MAson went over to pay the bill up to the counter."Excuse me for a second Linda." Mason asked kara nodded in return .Kara glanced around and noticed that this place was old yeah but it looked reallly good like one of those old 1980's diners that you only see in movies .Linda spotted a "hiring" sign .She bit her lip what if this was her opportunity to start on the other hand what if she finds out who she really took a deep breath in then out .Even if that was true she could at least pick up the pieces on the way, theres no telling how long the process would take. The hell with it,Linda/Kara asked one of the waiters named henry well that's what it said on his name tag,and walked over to the back picking up a form from a waiter."We are hiring just for waiters at the moment is that what you are looking for?" he asked handing her the form.

Kara took the form from him."Yes it's perfect." kara replied handed her a pen then she sat down and filled out the form quickly knowing Mason was coming didnt even know what to write down so she wrote the name mason made up for her it was all she could think of but for the rest of the contact information she told the waiter that she lived with Azari and knows mason considering everyone seems to know each other around looked around for the waiter she saw earlier then looked for Mason who was on the phone in the back. Kara handed henry the form."Thanks i hope you get the job Mrs? " Henry asked to kara who was right in front of lex's couldn't believe it at all it was KAra matter of fact it was the women who had saved him from the car reck a while back. He was so fixated on her but why was she here,lex has been looking for her . Kara chuckled "No there is no Mr. in the picture ," Kara then looked at Mason then back at henry for a second."No im-im single." Kara replied flattered at his question.

Lex looked at who she was looking at which was Mason that was still on the phone it seemed important .He got it she was with Mason but why -why was she here with him how did they even meet? Henry smiled raised his shoulders up "Well i just kinda thought you were a married woman you look like the kind of women that should be taken ." he said. Kara shook her head ,"Sadly no im not,well not at the moment-I'm just trying ..to find out who i really am."KAra replied trying to end the was more concerned on what she ment by im just trying to figure out who i really am.

"Well nice meeting you Henry I'm Linda ." she said extending her hand henry shook it. "Nice meeting you linda." henry said while she left and walked over to mason who had just got off the phone. "MAson?" Kara asked. "Hmm?" Mason asked putting the phone back in his back pocket."Oh I guess that means you want to leave and im taking to long huh? Okay lets go then after you ?" MAson replied while Kara walked with him to the door ."You should really learn to get alife outside of your phone mason." she told him as they walked out the car to the door. "Oh shut up." Mason replied as Linda laughed. Henry looked back at the two and wasnt please but lex seemed pretty amused. Well this should be interesting Maybe I should call Clark ."Sorry sir i was -" "distracted?" lex finished for him. "Yeah sorry about that sir." he apologized getting out his notepad. "It's no problem at all now how about I get myself something to eat?" he asked."of course."well clark can wait even if i do call the house Lana isn't going to let me so much utter a word to her or clark ." Lex thought smiling to himself after his order was taken.

With clark

Clark was with Chloe at the Isis foundation chloe was using isis's satelights to search for Kara .Clark was nervous "Anything?" he asked impatient . "No not even after the one hundreth time you asked me ethier Clark." Chloe replied contining to look for Kara. "It's like she left the face of the planet I can only track her if she uses her powers which was never .Ethier one she losed her memory and losed her powers aswell and she was somehow sent somewhere far away or two she-" Chloe said not finishing the sentice."Dead?" Clark asked he already knew there was a huge possibility she was dead but he couldn't accept that not is the only family he has he wasn't going to give up on her unless he was abolutly sure she was dead."Im not giving up on her maybe she did lose her powers Chloe." Clark stated looking up at the screans. "I hate to be the breaker of bad news but you will have to except the fact clark that there is a huge possiblility that kara could be dead." "No i cant not now atleast." Clark responded. "Did you try jor el?" "HE wont talk to me after what happened with KAra and her dad he acts like im not even his son anymore."clark exclaimed. " I guess that just means we will have to serach harder for her then dont worry if she is out there we will find her."chloe suggested. "Yeah." Clark said. "Ill have Oliver help as well dont worry." Chloe finished. "Thanks." clark said. Chloe smirked .

with linda/kara and mason

Lisa and Mason got to one of the police stations located in Detroit .Kara stared and went deep into thought after looking at her bracelet.Maybe if I told Mason about the bracelet and visions he could help even more.

She glaced up at a exhausted looking Mason getting out thecar he turned his head to Linda/Kara."Are you coming Linda?" he asked waiting for her to come out. "um yes." Kara/Linda responded uneasy covering up her bracelt with her sleeve as she walked out the car.A part of her yearned to know her own past but the other half was terrified of the fact that she could be a menice to society a freak she saw what the thing was able to do on television she could be something worse with all that she was on the edge of the seat near the car door she winced in pain and grabbed her head flashes of bits of her past started to arise .Just mental images like her on krypton or in a barn but just her and kryptonian symbols which she didnt knew what i sound in her head going off sounded like a thousand birds chirping in her head her head was spinning and she looked like she was in a imense amout of pain the driver and mason was calling out her name. MAson bent down to her level ."Can you hear me linda linda." he conintued to call out her name she continued to scream in pain .

Mason held her into his arms tightly ."breath i need you to calm down and just breath ." Mason whispered to Kara .she did that and clawed her nails into his back because thats how great the pain was .until she finally calmed down and wasnt having problems she sighed she took deep breaths and then she started taking low breaths in .Then she realised where she was at which was in Masons strong arms which threw her off she rolled her eyes. Why is he so sweet and nice to me ? kara thought to herself. She liked this feeling she had when she was with Mason like she was safe and normal even though she knew she wasnt. What are the chances of him even remotely finding me attractive anyway?what did i just think that i just ment the man of course he doesnt find me attractive im just the help. Linda thought to herself. If she could stay in his arms longer she could . Mason chuckled "Uh Linda" Mason asked. "huh oh yeah." she said letting go ."Are you alright now you still want to go in?"mason asked unsure. "Yep lets go ." KAra said with one last huge breath. "Of course Mason said helping her out the car.

The two adults went into the worked his magic and got in one of his freinds owned him he agreed to search for anything on linda to see who she really Owens came in and greeted the two and guided Linda to this machine which took finger prints and scanned the data base to find the identity of someone."Are you ready Ms?" he asked . She hesitated "Yes." she responded sure of herself. She placed her thumb on the screan. "Now let go." the inspector told linda. While the computer and looking for who linda/Kara the tension in the room grew. "So how long would you say this would take?" Mason asked. "About three to five minutes usually ." after inspector owens said that the computer read error."Hmn well thats wiered it has never done that before." Inspector owens said to himself inspecting the machine. Lindas heart sank she was so forward into finding out who she glanced over at linda she was so dispointed. "Are you sure ?" MAson asked leaning agaisnt the wall. "Yes positive it has never done this before .Maybe it's just the machine we'll just try to track her down the old fashioned way." Inspector morris told Mason. "It's okay ill have my people check further into this ." Mason said. "Forget it ." Linda scoffed out walking to the elevator ."Hey where are you going?" Mason called out to linda. She ignored him he went after her but the doors shutted in his face."Damn it whats with her ." he said to himslef rubbing his hand through his hand looking at the ceiling all of this was happening all at once and he felt useless he had linda and there was veritas with this whole traveler thing. He walked back to sinpector Morris she most likely just went back in the car with the driver mason thought to himself. "Is she alright?" the inspector asked concerned. "At this point im not sure it's a long story she just needs some time to think i guess ." Mason exclaimed rubbing his forehead. "How do you suppose i look into her past if you guys cant even find out who she is?" Mason asked frustrated. "Well i would say the best thing would be is to let her memory come back on their own it happens all the dont over whelm her it could make things worse if you force her to remember .The best you can do is just find her family and stay with her unless she says other wise." Inspector owens stated."K thanks." Mason said leaving.

Just at that moment he recieved a call from Patricia. He picked up and changed his attitude "So hows my favorite girl doing ?" Mason asked sounding excited. "Masons now is not the time have you found anything out about the traveler more important did you see todays news?" she asked. "MAson looked around his surrondings to see if anyone was near he whispered into the phone "Of course i did it had to be the traveler that power and that symbol means he he has to be in -" "MEtropolis." Patrica finished . "No Smallville." MAson stated. "Why smallville and not metropolis ?" Patrica asked curious. "Think about it all the wiered events that has happened there since the last metour shower wiereder things occur everyday including symbols burned on farms the list goes on ." "Oh ." Patrica said pondering the thought. "I still have to meet up with Lionel maybe alone." Patrica said into the phone placing her hand on her hip. "Wait why we agreed ill come with you." Mason exclaimed . "Lionel wants me to come alone now no interferences ." Patrica stated. "No,no Patty you can't go alone not with that monster he could kill you .Its not garanteed he won't kill you and just keep the traveler to himself." Mason told her pacing. She smirked ,"That's a chance i'll have to make then .Thank you Mason for everything even after my mother died you were the only one there for me." she said looking at a old photo of him and her as kids. "Patty that was when we were eight .." he whispered.

"How about we go to paris saturday ill have the jet pick you up?" MAson suggested. "MAson you do understand we aren't a thing anymore right?" she asked gently ."Of course ." he paused then responded. "no,no of course i do i just thought we could talk face to face agian like the good old days." he said to her on the phone. "Mason, i'm not ment for you and i'm not ready to go back i just want myself to myself for now atleast i need time tot think." she said. But i still do after your father died youve been obsessed with veritas and finding the killer and the traveler.I'm still in love with you maybe im trying to hard i do not know . You were the first girl i fell in love with and the last one i hope to fall in love were more then a girl friend to me you were my friend i never really had my parents they died when i was four having you and oliver around made it pushed me to my limits which made me ceo of stark towers today and i love you that's why i can't stand to see a guy like lionel ever trying to touch you Patty.I love you with all my heart , mason thought to himself. HE didn't even atempt to say those thingsit wouldn't have made a difference . "MAson?" Patty asked into the bit his bottom lip ,"Of course you do ...just be careful Patty call me when you get out of the building." MAson said. "Okay sure thing bye." she said laughing into the phone which he found extremly cute. Mason sighed planning out everything in his head for today he stared up at the he remembered Linda was in the car then went down the elevator then went to the car which she was still in sound asleep. Mason went in.

The driver looked back at him."Where to sir?" he asked. "Azari's for now i was going to get her a hotel room but i don't want her to be alone so she'll stay there unless she doesnt want that take me to my hotel please?" Mason asked. The driver did as he was told and drove to Azari's .
