Chap. 2
Everywhere there's a unicorn, there is a light. Every light, every rare, beautiful light is watched over by their keeper and maybe even God himself. Every time one of these lights is extinguished, the world gets a little dimmer and the person responsible is punished—not by the keeper, not even by God, but by someone, something angry and didn't care who suffered as long as the target of their anger suffered. It didn't matter who else was hurt in the process. All that mattered was someone was punished for dimming the world and robbing its inhabitants of the light.
Before you say anything about unfairness, just know everybody, king or peasant, has a chance of redeeming themselves in the eyes of their punishers. All you have to do is pass three simple tests—tests of character and heart. The tests are simple, yes, but not always easy. The action to be taken is obvious, but will you take it or the other?
What is your true character?
...

This is a plot bunny. He gives me all my ideas and bounces 'round my head till I get them all down. Occasionally he crawls out my ear and bounces around the house making messes and leaving them too; it's quite a bother cleaning them up. He also eats reviews, they keep him calm and fed. Don't let him starve! And don't let him out of my head again like I said, reviews keep him calm;)
