"Everybody quite!" I yell over everyone to be heard, everybody quickly fell silent and turned their attention to me as I decided who was going to help me question the two Stitch-Punks.
"Thank you. Now, Boulder, Ty, Steel, and I will question them. Blaze, you will be present also, just in case they are hostile." I decide, after which, everybody else leaves. "Now, we wait." I add to the remaining Stitch-Punks.
"We might not have to wait as long as you think, they're coming to now." Boulder tells me. I turn around to face them to see that they are, in fact waking up.
"What happened?" one of them asks groggily, not seeming to have noticed us yet.
suddenly, Blaze cleared his throat and Lightning growls deeply, successfully, and effectively, alerting them to our presence and had the result of both their eyes flashing open in realization.
"I'm guessing you want to know our names?" one of them asks.
"That would be delightful." Boulder answers before I could even open my mouth.
"Okay; well, I'm Proto." responds one, she looked thin, but strong and agile, and had strands of silk for hair.
"I'm Nova." the obviously younger, almost child like, girl stated shyly. She too, had silk for hair. it was hard to believe that these two had survived outside the buildings.
"I'm Thunder." I introduce myself.
"Oh, there's no need to introduce yourselves, we already know all of your names." Nova quietly states.
"Um, ok," I say feeling more than a little weirded out, before shaking it off and continuing, "Now that the pleasantries are done with, how did you find our Home Base?"
"Its kinda hard to miss, after all its one of the few structures still standing." Proto answers, earning a giggle from Nova.
"Fair enough," Ty interjects, "why were you spying on us?"
"We wanted to see if we could trust you and your team." Proto says.
"Our old 'freinds' lied to us and were mean, they never talked to me." Nova finishes for Proto.
"So, have you decided if you can trust us yet?" Steel asks.
"Yes." They say in unison.
"I feel we can trust them." Boulder whispers to me.
"Same here." Blaze says.
I look over to Steel and Ty, and they nod their heads.
"Okay, Proto, Nova, Boulder has always been a good judge of character, so I'm inviting you to join our little family here." I say after a few moments.
"Really?" Nova asks me with a hopeful glint in her eyes.
"Yes, really." I answer, earning a tight hug around the waist from Nova, and a grateful smile from Proto.
"Sorry, she's a hugger." Proto explains.
"No need to apologize." I say returning the smile.
