Shane, Shea, and Chandler all sat on the floor watching some people panic and others trying to open windows. Some were even trying to call for help. They had no idea what to do. They were never going to see their families again. Chandler was never going to marry Monica and have the family he always wanted. Shea and Shane were never going to get to see Tyler grow up and start his own family. They weren't going to see his nieces grow up either. Shea was never going to meet her nephew or see her brother get re-married.

"We can't just sit here and wait to die!" Chandler yelled making everyone look at him.

"What do you suppose we do? We are trapped!" A man yelled.

"We could see if we could find a way out." Chandler said. He looked at his two friends hoping they would agree with him.

"Okay. How? There's a bunch of debris blocking the door." Shane pointed out.

"Even if we get out the door there will be more in the way of the other doors and stairs." Shea said.

"We have to try! Don't you want to see your families again?" Chandler turned to Shea and Shane. "Don't you two want to see Tyler again?"

"Of course we do! He is our son!" Shane yelled.

Chandler walked over to the door and tried opening it. There was a bunch of concrete, glass, wood, and other things in the way. He was too big to fit through the door and move some of the things out of the way. He thought about everyone in the room and realized the only person small enough to fit through the door and move some of the stuff out of the way was Shea. How could he ask Shea to leave her husband alone for however long it took to move the debris?

"Shea…"

"What, Chandler?" she asked.

"You…you are the only one….small enough to fit through the door and could move some of the stuff out of the way. Do you think you could do it?" Chandler asked.

Shea looked at him for a moment then took a look around the room. Everyone was staring at her. She knew she could at least try. Shea looked back at Chandler and nodded.

"Thank you."

Shane and Shea headed to the door. Before Shea could squeeze through the door Shane grabbed her and hugged her as tight as he could. She grabbed him and kissed what could be for the last time.

"I love you, Shane."

"I love you to, Shea. Good luck." He said and she slipped through the door.

Shea started to move the debris out of the way. There wasn't much once she was able to get a look at it. She moved all of the stuff out of the way and it only took her about five to six minutes. She pulled on the door to open it and saw people jumping out the window. She pushed those images out of her head and grabbed Shane and Chandler by the wrists and ran down the stairs until they hit another blocked door. Shane looked up and realized they had made it to the 50th floor.

Shane looked at his watch and noticed it was 9:57. They heard the building making some strange noises which only meant it was going to collapse in a few minutes. There was nothing more they could do. They were doomed and were going to die. Without thinking Shane grabbed Shea and ran into a room filled with cubicles.

"Shane! What are you doing?" Shea asked trying to break free from his grip.

"Listen to me! We are not going to make it out of this. This building is going to fall in a few minutes. Either we wait here and let it fall on us. And mom, dad, and your brother would never know what happened to our bodies. Or we jump out this window and they will know what happened to us!" Shane said.

"What about Chandler? He is my best friend! I can't just leave him!" Shea yelled.

"Do what you want. Don't worry about what will happen to me. If you want to do this go ahead. If not then stay. I'm staying." Chandler said.

Shea looked and Shane and nodded. She didn't want the others to worry about what happened to their bodies. She wanted her family to have closer. Not wondering where their bodies where. If they had gotten out and where somewhere else. They said goodbye to Chandler and said they would see him soon. They climbed onto the ledge. When the clock turned to 9:59 they jumped. And following them down where pieces of the building; because it had collapsed.
