"I'm sorry...I can't believe...Sorry" Lin smirked down at Mai as she continue to blabber apologies. "It's fine Mai-chan, and before you ask, so is Naru". Mai's worried face instantly turned into relief and happiness...it didn't last long though.
"You bitch! Get off him!" Naru roared from Maka's room, sending everyone on edge. "I thought you said everything was fine!" Mai whimpered. You can't go anywhere without Lin! You promised! Her subconscious gnawed at her. But he could be in danger! So could Monk or John! "Ah...!" Mai hissed, grabbing her head. Lin instantly was scared and worried. "What's wrong?" Lin asked frantically, like there was a reason to be this worried. Mai sat down and started to feel dizzy. What's going on?...

What?...What happened I don't...remember... Mai thought to herself. "Mai! MAI!" A voice screamed, real terror in their voice. Who's that? "MAI! NOOO! MAI!" Naru? Naru, what's wrong? What's happening? "I'm sorry Oliver..." Another voice said. Lin? "NOOOO BA-BBY" Naru's voice cracked, as he shook Mai. "Mai...Please wake up" He cried. Mai suddenly felt a weight on her chest and slowly she felt her chest get wet. "Is there...anything...I can do for you?" Lin said, monotone. "...No" Naru sounded dead inside, breaking Mai's heart. Baby I'm here! RIGHT HERE! "...Ok, I'm just outside the door" Lin's statement got no response. Oliver cried and cried, Mai's chest getting wetter and wetter. "No...please...Come back to me...Mai..." WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! I'M RIGHT HERE!

"Get off me!" Monk yelled, panic setting in as Maka continued to choke him. WHAT DO I DO?! Naru screamed to himself" "Regna terrae, cantata Deo, psallite Cernunnos, Regna terrae, cantata Dea psallite Aradia!" John started chanting. What is that? I know it's Latin, but I've never heard it. Maka screamed, her eyes rolling back inside her head, and dropping to the ground. Monk ran away from her, gasping for air. "You! YOU CAN'T GET RID OF ME THAT EASILIY!" Maka's posseser said, with a smile plastered on her pain riddled face. "Caeli Deus, Deus terrae Humiliter majestati gloriae tuae supplicamus!" As John finished his sentence, Maka fell completely limp on the floor. "YES! We did it!" Monk said, smiling brightly. Even though Naru didn't know that particular chant, he knew something was up. As did John. John looked confused at Naru, as did Naru to John. "No we didn't...It's longer...The chant, it's not over" John sighed. "Well ...where did it go?" Monk asked. "Good question" Naru said, doing a 180 turn. Good question indeed...
