I woke up to birds chirping, and soreness bellow the belt. I sighed, and got up to take a shower, desperately needing one to cleanse myself from the filth of my father. When I got out of the shower I decided to check my phone, seeing it glow, and hearing an almost silent hum from the vibrations, signaling a text. I walked over to see it was a text from Hikaru.

H:hey, my mom said u could stay with us... if u want 2. Kaoru and I would love it if u did. I just really don't want u to b hurt any more.

I smiled. But soon enough I thought of what my dad would do, he wouldn't let me be away from the house for more then one night in a row... and if I didn't come home, he'd go to the school and drag me home.

R:I want to but , my dad wouldn't let me go. We would have to go through a court case and everything, and I'm pretty sure my dad would fight it. He would do anything in his power to keep me.

H: my mom just said since this is a serious matter, she'd go through court. since ur both Kaoru and my friend, and we both care a lot about u, she already considers u part of the fam. she said she'd adopt u if she had 2

R: Really? She'd do that for me?

H: yeah:) hey, u might wanna hurry up, school is gonna start in less then 10 mins. oh and every1 from the host club wants u 2 come by after school... have u picked a club yet?

I had just now thought about everyone in the host club. Hikaru, Kaoru and Haruhi had all talked about them, so often.. but I didn't get much time to meet them all last time.

R: Thanks for the warning. Oh, ok, I'll be there. I haven't picked one yet no.

I sighed and hurried with getting ready, my dad wasn't up so I didn't bother making breakfast. I put on my shoes and left, beginning my walk to school. I was pondering everything that had happened in the last couple of weeks, but mostly the bigger things like being raped, abused and how Hikaru said his parents would take me in. I was so grateful I had people like Hikaru and his family in my life. Although I hadn't met anyone else in the Hitachiin family but Hikaru and Kaoru.

I got to class just in time for the bell to ring. I sighed in relief, not wanting a detention. I turned and smile at both Hikaru and Kaoru who sat on either side of me. I reached my hands out to each of them, they both grabbed my hands and smiled big smiles at me. I had a huge grin on my face. I was ready to start a new life. One that didn't include my dad, and I couldn't wait until the Hitachiin's won the battle in court, that is if my dad even cared to begin one. I made note that I would have to send my dad a text later saying I wouldn't be home tonight, or anytime soon for that matter.

I didn't pay that much attention to anything that day, and at lunch I sent my dad a quick text saying I wasn't going to be home, that I have a project I had to do that would take a lot of work. It wasn't really a lie, our English group had a lot of work to do since the project was due soon and we hardly had anything done. I think we might end up just winging it anyway.

I followed the boys to the Host club after school being as I was going home with them for a while. I didn't think my dad would be able to win a court battle. I needed to tell someone about my dad raping me, and get something done about it so my dad had no chance of winning in court. I decided to text Hikaru even though he was hosting right now. It looks like he too had his phone with him today and he excused himself while he quickly checked his phone, I was sitting by the windows just watching everyone have fun, all of them had smiles on their faces, everyone but Hikaru, as he looked at me. He quickly excuse himself and walked over to me, he took my hand and led me to another room.

"Hey." he said sadly. "Hey." I replied in the same tone. "So whats going on?" he asked. I think he could tell something was wrong. "You know how I said my dad hurt me last night?" I asked him. He simply nodded to me, in a way of saying yes, but also a way of saying 'go on'. I took a deep breath, I let it out, trying to brace myself for what was about to happen. "He didn't just hurt me... He... uh... He raped me." I told him looking away. He grabbed me in a tight hug. He was squeezing me so tight I couldn't breathe, but I didn't say anything, I just let him hug me. Just when I thought I could pass out he let me go, I took a couple breaths, making sure I didn't fall over or anything, he grabbed my hand and pulled me back out. "We have to go. Kaoru, common." Hikaru kept pulling me by the hand but I didn't complain or question.

"Hey, whats going on?" Kaoru came out questioning. "I can't tell you here, but we have to go. I'll tell you on our way." Hikaru responded, I didn't know where we were going but I knew I was safe with these two. Kaoru nodded and followed Hikaru and I, I was being pulled around by Hikaru but I didn't mind.

As we got outside, the limo was already there, Hikaru told the driver we could get in ourselves and he talked to him outside for a bit before getting in and closing the door behind him. "Kaoru, Rima was raped by her dad, she is going to be staying with us and we are going to the police right now to tell them, then we are going to make sure he can't get away with it. If her dad tries to fight us in court, he wont have a chance of winning since he raped and beat her." Hikaru told Kaoru who just hugged me, and whispered that things would be ok, and I believed him.

After we left getting myself tested at the hospital we went to the Hitachiin's residence. I was so happy I wouldn't be with my dad for a while. The hospital said they would call tomorrow to confirm it was my dad, and it was so we would just have to go pick up the results, and then bring them to the police station, have him charged and go to court, then have myself removed from his care, and have the Hitachiin family take me it. When we got to their house I was greeted by a man and a woman. The way the boys straightened up I was guessing that the two in front of me were their parents.

"Mom, dad. This is Rima. I would like to talk to you two in private for a minute when we get done with the greetings." Hikaru told his parents, I tried my best to be myself, but I was still my shy self. I couldn't really talk much. But soon Hikaru left to another room with his parents. I went with Kaoru to their bedroom and just admired their house on the way.

Kaoru and I talked for a while while in the boys bedroom, but after what only seemed like 5 minutes, he got a text. "My parents want us downstairs." He got up and led me downstairs, the both of us talking a bit on our way, but I was more focused on trying to memorize my way around the house.

I was soon embraced by the boys' mother, and then their father cleared his throat before she stepped back.

"Rima. I would like to welcome you to the family. We heard all about what you have been going through during your life, and we wish to make sure you are away from that living situation. I think you will be pleased to hear that we will do all that is in our power to keep you, and make sure you wont be returning to your father if he decides to go to court with this. If he doesn't we will get him to sign the papers in order for us to take you in." their father told me. I could tell my eyes lit up like light bulbs because of the smiles on every ones faces and the way some of them laughed a bit at me. Their father was a very serious, and respectable man, so of course he didn't do much but smile. "THANK YOU SO MUCH!" I could feel tears down my cheeks, I was finally somewhere where I was wanted. I was so thankful, and I hoped that my dad would just sign the papers, but its hard to say with him.
