Dean couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about what Cas said. He did like to look at Cas, but Cas was an angel that had come back from the dead. It was like looking at a miracle. And spending alone time with a friend was perfectly acceptable. His best friend. One he couldn't live without. No. Not a friend. More like family.
Behind his big blue eyes, Cas showed love and respect and worry and... Not to mention the little smile he got when he understood a reference or a joke. The little stubble that covered his chin. All the things that made him beautiful. These were normal things to notice in a friend, right?
Dean was awake for hours debating whether or not he liked Cas. He turned to check the time. 3:24 A.M. Dean grabbed the keys and quietly walked towards the door, not wanting to wake up his little brother.
Dean found parked by the side of an abandoned road. He sat on the hood and prayed.
Nothing. Not a sound. Dean looked around for Cas, but found nothing. He tried three more times before yelling out, "Come on, Cas! I need to tell you something! Please! Just come!" He waited for about ten more minutes. Just as he was about to give up, he heard a familiar,"Hello, Dean."
Dean turned around and crashed his lips into Cas'. Cas was shocked. Not mad, just shocked. Den pulled away saying, "Listen, I thought about what you said. And you were right. I do love you. I just never really kne-"
Once again, Dean was cut off by Cas' lips, but instead of shock, he only felt pleasure. After they came up for air, they just stood their looking at each other for hours. Without saying a word.
