Hey guys sorry i haven't been posting in a while there just a lot of school stuff to do and exams were hard but i promise i'll start posting these more than once every 2 months. So this chapter is very interesting. A new character? Who is it? Can you guess? Chapter 2 Dick

After school Bruce called me down to the cave.

It was dark and dingy but what do you expect from a cave.

Bruce was sitting at his computer in his costume with his cowl down. I walked up behind him. "You wanted to see me?" I asked.

"Yes, Dick look at this." He played a piece of security footage from a Gotham City Bank.

The footage showed the inside of the bank. Ice was everywhere covering everything. At first I thought it was Freeze but then I realize that the ice wasn't covering the people. The people we just stuck there by their arms or legs. They were never in a life threatening position. That confused me. When the robber ran by the camera all you saw was a figure of white then the camera blacked out. Bruce pulled up several more cameras from the same bank with all the same results. As soon as you saw the figure was the cameras screen went black.

"Could it be Freeze?" I asked after watching the tapes.

"No, unless he changed his MO. But I doubt it. This criminal is different it looks like he or she doesn't want to hurt the people in the bank. That they just want to get the money and get out." He suggested.

I nodded agreeing with him. "But what's wrong with the cameras? Every time we start to get a clear view of the perp it just stops working."

"They could be destroying the camera's to keep them from getting caught." Bruce said.

"So, there hiding something."

"Maybe. But whatever it is they have to be stopped." Bruce added. Bruce pulled up 5 pictures of banks all around Gotham. "They've hit 5 banks in the last week and a half. Judging by his or her pattern they'll be hitting this bank tonight." He pulled up a picture of Gotham's biggest bank. Gotham National Bank. "And we'll be there to stop them."

"Right we should get going."

Bruce nodded and pulled on his cowl.

I quickly changed into my Robin costume. Once I was done I ran to the Batmobile. Batman was waiting for me inside.

"Ready." He asked.

I nodded, and off we went.

We waited for what seemed like forever. After a while I thought they wouldn't show. I was just about to suggest to batman that we leave when we saw her. Her? It was a girl robbing the bank. I used my binoculars to look more closely. It was defiantly a girl. But the only girl villain I know that has cryo-kinetic powers is Killer Frost.

She burst out of the bank carrying 3 sacks dripping with money and took off down the street. Batman and I followed in hot pursuit, along the rooftops. Soon we were beside her keeping pace. She looked up at the buildings and saw we were coming. She picked up the pace.

Man she can run fast. Wait. I looked at her feet she wasn't running she was gliding along the ice her feet barely touching the ice she had laid before her feet. It looked like she was using the ice to pick up speed and she was gliding to keep her current speed.

"Batman." I said.

He nodded noticing too.

He threw a batarang at her but she just spun and shot ice from her fingertips stopping the batarang in its tracks. It fell to the ground. She did all this without even breaking pace.

Wow. I thought. I was never impressed by a villain but I`ve never seen a villain do that before.

We kept running keeping our eyes on the girl. She took a left and headed down the road. Batman and I shot our hooks and swung down to the road in front of her. She stopped running but kept sliding. It looked like she`d slide right into us, but she curled up and slid under Batman`s legs quick as lightning. She got up and skidded turning around. Looking at us. She laughed at the surprise on my face. Suddenly a figure came out of nowhere and tackled Batman. The impact sent them sliding away, and rocked the ground knocking me off my feet. But batman got the figure off of him. It was Freeze.

What was he doing here?

He slid past me stopping a few feet in front of me. He got up and laughed pointing his gun at us he let out an array of ice.

Batman threw explosives at Freezes gun all missing.

With a smile still on his face Freeze motioned for the girl to run.

She was about to turn and run when she cast one last look at me. From the ground I stared at her. From this close I got a good look at her but I wasn't close enough to distinguish any of her features. From what I could see her hair was pure white and down past her shoulders and she was really pale. She was wearing grey skinny jeans a whit tank top and no shoes, which caught me by surprise.

She turned and fled.

Wait. I wanted to yell. I was curious about her. I got up and looked at Batman.

In mid fight with Freeze Batman yelled. "GO!"

And I took off running to catch up with her. She looked behind her and saw me tailing her so she glazed the whole road with ice and took a sharp turn. I started slipping but I pulled out my bird-hook and shot it at the nearest lamppost. It latched on and as I reached the corner I pulled turning myself on the slippery ice. Making the corner I retracted my hook and kept running.

She led me to an abandoned warehouse. She hopped the 10 foot tall fence with ease and I followed, with less ease. She was sprinting across the courtyard when I threw mybolas at her feet tripping her. She fell on the tarmac skidding to a stop. The money bags rolled away from her. I ran over to her as she propped herself up on her elbows. When I got to close she put her hand on the ground and ice started spreading from her hands along the ground to where I was. It went under my feet making me slip. I landed on my back with a thud. Ice then covered my arms and legs. Keeping me from moving. I struggled but couldn't get lose.

I turned my head towards her and saw her swing her legs around towards her front. She extended her finger and ice engulfed it forming a point cone like structure around her index finger with a point at the end. It looked sharp. She used it to cut my bolas off her feet. We were so close if I wasn't held down I could touch her.

She tossed the cut bolas towards me without looking at me. They landed and rolled passed me.

"Gah." I said as I struggled to get out of the ice but I couldn't reach my belt, which held something that would get rid of this ice.

Without speaking she walked over to the bags of money and picked them up. Sighing each time like it was a big hassle. She started to walk away.

No, I'm not letting you get away. I groaned as I strained against the ice.

I looked towards her seeing she stopped in her tracks. She half turned her head towards me. But all I could see was her mouth and chin. The rest was concealed by her white hair. She snapped her fingers and the ice instantly dissolved. Instead of getting up and throwing a batarang at her I just lay there staring at her. Confused by what she did.

I stared at her lips as they moved. "You should get out of here," she warned. "Before Freeze finds you." Then she was gone. Like she disappeared. I got up and took off running to try and find her. I ran around the corner of the warehouse but she was nowhere to be found.

How'd she get away so fast.

Confused I walked back to pick up my cut bolas. At that moment Batman came crashing through the wall with the Batmobile.

He looked at me. "Any luck?"

I shook my head. "You?"

He shook his head.

"Get in." Batman said. I started walking towards the Batmobile but I turned around and looked in the direction that she ran off in.

Who was she? Her voice. It was so familiar, but different. Where have I heard it before.

Batman honked the horn and I turned around and hopped in the batmobile. WE took off barreling down the street towards the Batcave.
