Naomi's turn! This fierce hard Chinese Snake is back!
Finally! I am home. I missed my Grandparents but after a while I started to smell like old people and coal from the muggle mines nearby. I quickly made sure my two combs were still in place, a gift from my Grandparents on my birthday. I got two beautiful and expensive old heir loomed hair combs. They were white jade that had been carved delicately to mirror English lace.
I was wearing them with a simple casual formal outfit.
My favorite harem pants were on, the black ones with draws strings. A simple white top tucked in and a light silk summer robe with my family's crest adorned me.
I was wearing a pair of Chinese flats I found at the market along with some street jewelry I picked up there as well.
I arrived at Draco's party just a little bit late along with my friends, Sam and Emeline. I heard from Sam and Emeline that Caroline was not invited. I was quiet surprised but not at the same time. I thought our power would get her in but I guess that is just how low she truly is. I will have to talk to Sam and Emeline later about that.
I remember when decided she would be a perfect fit for our little group. She looked like one of those late beauty bloomers. My mother always told me that time could do that and to be on the lookout for it. I felt like I had her labeled as one but throughout the year she hardly changed at all. Sad, four people to a group is always better than three.
"Hi!" I said, running over to hug them. "I missed you so much. I feel like it's been all summer."
"Because it has!" Emeline said hugging me. "I'm so glad your home."
"Me too."
Looked over their outfits, They both looked perfect, Emeline in a beautiful summer lace maxi with some Bohemian elements and Sam rocking a vertically black and white shorts with a nice graphic tee. She was wearing pair of sandals and had some big framed sunglasses on.
"Don't we look nice." I smiled, "Ready to hang out with our enemies?"
"and our friends." Emeline put in.
"You should have brought Emelo."
Emeline shook her head, "he had homework to catch up on. My parents would not let him go. He would never be in Ravenclaw with his poor grades."
"Sad." Sam said.
I quickly grabbed my friends' hands and walked up to the door, it opened to a beautiful hallway, we were then led into another room that the elf said was Draco's game room.
"Hi Draco."
I tried to ignore Blaise and the Italian whore on his arm while I look around the den Draco brought us too.
It was beautiful and I would gladly mistake it for the Slytherin Commom room except this room was bigger, with long arch windows that let the sun in.
"It feels like home." I reply.
"Thank you." Draco said before turning and going back to Alice.
Sam was quick to follow as Emeline and I went with her for support.
"Alice, how did you get out of that awful muggle place?" Sam asked
"Well, Maria's family was kind enough to visit me and since we will be leaving in a couple days, Ms. Summers, the caretaker was fine with my leaving to stay with her family." Alice explained, ignoring Sam's rude comment.
"Naomi." I turned around to see Blaise and that girl.
"Blaise." I said flirtatiously. "Who is your friend?"
"Enchante." He said, turning to his guest. "She is my guest from Italy."
"How nice." I said, my smile turned force.
"Nice to meet you." She replied curtly. Enchante turned to Blaise. "When are we leaving?"
I turned to see Draco looked annoyed at the girl.
"If you are not happy here you are free to go." Draco said to her.
"Yes, please. I'll even walk you to the door." I said
Enchante looked pissed off by our attitudes to her but honestly what did she think we would be like. She not only took my Blaise but also acts all high and mighty.
"I'm sorry for my rudeness. I did not mean to defend the host. I was just bored." She started. "Blaise told me so much about you and I guess I had higher expectations."
She turned to Blaise and gave him a little kiss. I could tell he was surprise by this but quickly reformed to his normal self.
"What do you have in mind?" Alice asked, getting up, she put an arm around Draco, I could understand why, Sam was on a mission to start a fight between them.
"O, I don't know, I'm not the host." She looked at Draco. "Do you have anything planned?"
"Like all good pureblood families, I do but I was waiting for the last of our guests to arrive. It would be rude to start without them." Draco said, staring her down. "I didn't know Italians waited for no one."
"I didn't know we were waiting for them." She snapped back, Enchante turned to Blaise for support but got none.
"Let the girls chat, I need a spiff to calm my nerves." Blaise said
Draco nodded and kissed Alice gently before leading all the guys into the smoke room.
We were left in the game room to do what we wanted. I just hoped no fight would come.
I sat down in one of the plush sofas Draco had to offer with Emeline and Sam.
"So…." Alice said, trying to struck up a conversation. "How is Italy?"
"Nice, thank you." Enchante said, "I cannot wait to start school. Are you excited?"
"Yes. School is my home." Alice gave her signature small smile.
"Where do you go?" I piped up.
" Athena's Temple of the Magical Arts" She responded, less coldly. "How is Hogwarts?"
"It's just wonderful." I responded.
"Blaise told me all about it." Enchante responded. I could tell she was watching for my reaction.
"That's nice." I responded before turning to Sam and Emeline who were talking about something to themselves.
"Where is Caroline?" Maria brought up. "I thought you were best friends with her."
"O, she couldn't make it." Sam said, "Why?"
"Like I said, I thought you were best friends with her." Maria shrugged before turning to the fire.
"Where is Ginny?" Sam asked
"You think Draco Malfoy would ever invite a Ginny over?" Maria laughed, "Ginny would only set foot in this house to set it on fire."
Sam gave a harsh look and decided to stay quiet.
"I'm bored." Enchanted said again, pouting. She looked at the door and walked over to it, putting her ear to the dark hard wood surface.
She came back and smiled.
"I have an idea. They cannot hear us and we cannot hear them." Enchante said, "Let's play a game."
"What kind of game?" Maria asked
"Hide and Seek." She shrugged, "We leave a note for them, telling them to come find us."
"Sure, lets." I said
She raised her eyes before writing a quick note for the boys.

After we wrote it and left it on the center table we all went to hide.
I already decided this would be the perfect time to get Blaise alone. When he comes I will give myself up and try to talk to him. Hopefully little Enchante won't get in the way. I am not in the mood to deal with his little fiancé.
"Emeline." Sam said, "I think Naomi wants to hide alone."
"We will help you." Emeline said, "We practically know what you are thinking."
"I'll make sure Enchante is nowhere near your hiding spot." Sam said before walking over to Enchante, flashing a brilliantly fake smile at her.
I could hear her make small talk as she led her away from me.
Emeline was quick to follow me, she was going to give herself up first just to make sure if it is Blaise. My friends are awesome.
I went into one of the many cabinets they had around their house. I had to move over some fine china but other than that I fit perfectly. I was quick to shut my door completely. Emeline was on the opposite side in another cabinet but she left her doors slightly adjure to be my look out.
I felt like I was waiting forever when I heard Emeline come out.
"O, shoot. Blaise, Draco, you found me." She laughed, "One of you boys have to take me back to game room. Draco? It is your house."
"Sure." I heard Draco say.
After I heard Emeline's voice fade I quickly got out of the cabinet.
"You are very bad at hide and seek Naomi." Blaise said, not even turning around. "You might be able to catch up with Emeline and Draco if you run along."
"Don't treat me like a child." I said, rushing over to his side. I spun him around so he could see me clearly.
I looked into his smooth rich coco eyes, I felt like I was in a sweet dream.
"Naomi. I think you should go."
"No." I snapped. "I thought you cared about me." I turned to look away from him. "What is your relationship with Enchante?" I closed my eyes, not wanting to know.
"Our families want us to marry." He said, I felt his shoulder's fall.
"Do you?" I asked, "do you want to marry her?"
"I don't know." Blaise replied, "I hardly know her."
"I care about you so much." I cried. "I want us, to be us."
"Do not cry Naomi. Even though I do not know her well, no one should shed tears because of Enchante."
"I don't want to be that mistress." I laughed.
"You won't." Blaise replied confidently. "You know why?"
I just shook my head.
"Because you will get over me and move on."
"No." I said, my hair whipping back and forth. "No. Blaise, I, I want you."
"I want you too." Blaise replied. He paused, "Look, Enchante is just my guest for the summer, in a few days we will be back together at Hogwarts and she will be in Greece. We can be together there, but it would have to be low key."
"Yes. O, Blaise, yes." I cried. Hugging him.
I never felt so happy, so relieve. I was going to be with Blaise, finally.
Blaise hugged me back before pulling me into a quick kiss.
"Run along Naomi. We are still playing hide and seek."
I nodded before running to the game room.
Emeline and Maria were there.
To be honest, I never really had a personal problem with Maria but since she treats Sam so badly I had to stick with my friend.
I turned to Emeline. I could tell it has been an awkward few minutes.
"Who found you?" Emeline asked innocently.
"Blaise." I replied. "I wonder who will win."
"Alice, of course." Maria laughed as she cut into our conversation.
"Why Alice?"
"I hid in this room. I thought it would be a smart idea but I guess I wasn't so smart. What a bad Ravenclaw I make." She laughed. "I head the guys talk about the game when they found the note. Draco told them they could not look for Alice and if they do find her to report to him immediately. I think Draco wants some alone time with his girlfriend."
"It's not going to last." I said, "Their relationship will crash and burn."
"Sadly, I believe you are right." Maria said becoming gloomy. "But you cannot tell the future and neither can I. So I would leave it up to fate, if that's alright with you."
Maria then went to the open bar and brought out butter beer and some vodka. She poured both together in a glass before putting it away.
"You didn't ask if we wanted any."
"Get it yourself." She snapped but smiled back.
Sam came in with Enchante.
"Who found you?" I asked them.
"Crabbe and Goyle."
"I was hoping my Blaise would find me." Enchante responded.
I just gave a small smile before getting up, I need some of what Maria is having.
"Who found you?"
Emeline spoke up "Draco." She shrugged, "so I guess we will wait until Draco and Alice as satisfied.
Blaise came in with the rest of the boys. He went to stand next to Enchante. She put her arms around him trying to get his attention but I could tell he was far away from here. His eyes smoothed over with foam as he was in his own little world.
I couldn't help to smile at her distress.
"What are you smiling at?" Enchante asked
"You two just make a cute couple." I smiled falsely at her.
She didn't seem to believe me but left it alone before trying to snap Blaise out of his day dream.
"Just think, we will be back at school soon." I said, "I cannot wait."
Everyone nodded. We loved vacation but we are homesick for Hogwarts.
"How are you going to live without Blaise?" I asked sweetly.
She shrugged, "I honestly don't know. Blaise has been by my side for almost all of the summer. It defiantly takes some time to get used to."
"Hopefully not too long." I responded.
We turned to see a flustered Alice walk over to Maria with Draco right behind her, he liked positively pleased.
"That was a fun idea. What shall we do now?"
I kept on trying, wanting to finish this chapter. I wanted to make it longer but I had horrible writers block that lasted for sooo long I decided to just post it now.
