Back to our beloved Alice. It is time to return to Hogwarts to another year of adventure and love.

This is the last chapter in their 1st Summer Series.

"Alice…I am sorry." Jared said, corning me in my room. I turned away, not able to look at him. I hardly spoke to him this entire time. I've been staying at Maria's house for the past week but came back to get the last of my stuff. We had the entire summer together but he did not speak to me. I was hurt by his actions. Everyone was perfectly lovely to me. Yas felt so bad for what has happened to my relationship with Jared knowing it was her twin, no, it is not Liz's fault alone. It is also Jared's. He hardly ever mentioned Liz in our letters before the accident and them sends me one right after I gave him the drops dropping the ball that they are now dating.

I know I should have never have made him wait for me and I understood if he wanted to date but it was so sudden and surprised me. We never kept our lives secret. I wrote about Harry and Draco, confiding in him about my doubts and scares yet he couldn't mention the girl he was dating to me.

Jared did not speak to me for most of the summer, he was always with Liz like a puppy, following her around and doing her every bidding. It was pathetic to watch and made me sick. Liz treated him awfully and would often whisper into his ear. It drove Yas crazy because they were once so close.

Now here he is. In my room, blocking the exist as I am trying got gather my things peacefully and go back to Maria's so we can head to the train together since Maria's parents are still off on a long trip.

"Jared. Please move." I said when I finally finished gather my things and had to stop ignoring him.

"Please listen to me Alice. I never…" He signed, "You don't understand, I had no choice."

I huffed slightly, "You had a choice. You wanted to date Liz and that is fine. I don't care but ignoring me. How could you? We were close."

"I…Liz blackmailed me."

"With what?"

"She would kill herself."

"Don't be so stupid…Liz would never do that." I said slowly. I did not know if I could believe him or not. "It doesn't matter anymore. I'm with Draco and you are with Liz. I am going back to school."

He stood straight and tall in the door way, not leaving any room for me to sneak by. His feet were placed perfectly apart and his arms out as though to hold me, to comfort me.

"Alice." He responded. "I am sorry, I –"

We heard a loud hard knock on the door, letting us know Ms. Summer is here. "Alice, The Grayson's would like to leave. Are you ready?"

"Yes." I effortlessly opened the door, Jared moved with the door, slowly moving closer the wall.

I ran downstairs refusing to say bye to my friends again. I saw Maria and her chauffeur, she had an impatient pout and the chauffeur looked worried at his young mistress.

"Sorry Maria, it was not my fault." I said, quickly going to the back of the car to be with her.

"We are going to be late!" She replied harshly. "Ginny always arrives a little late because of her family size so we had to be there first to save her a seat. I told you this."

"I know, I know." I said calmly, "I ran into a little issue with Jared."

"O." she responded. "Well?"

"He blocked the doorway, wanted to talk to me about why he has been ignoring me."

"And did you listen?"

"No." I shook my head, "Besides we each have a significant other, it is best we don't speak to each other."

"Exactly, Draco is in love with you. You wouldn't want more drama to unfold between you too."

"Of course not." I laughed, more drama would probably be the end of me.

"We want this year to fun, exciting and most importantly full of amazing grades!"

"Spoken like a true Ravenclaw."

We laughed and talked throughout the ride. The chauffeur calm demeanor was funny as he expertly drove to the train station and brought us to the station.

The train was still beautiful and newly polished like I saw it last year. I stood on my toes to see platinum hair. I did not and was surprised to see a group of bright red heads on the other side.

"Maria, I see them!" I quickly said, grabbing her hand as he rush over.

"Ginny! Ginny!" We called, hoping to catch up with our favorite Gryffindor.

Ginny was standing there, pleased to see us. She quickly waved back to her family before running up to us, laughing as we were quick to hug each other before rushing to the get a perfect compartment.

We found a perfect compartment close to the unofficial Ravenclaw section but we were in Slytherin territory. Ginny was rather displeased by it but it was the only compartment in a sea of already taken ones and Maria refused to budge.

"It will be fine." Maria said when she saw Ginny's look. "No one will bother you."

"Fine."

We sat down and locked the compartment as we got ready for the trolley lady to start her rounds. We were in our school robes so we wouldn't have to rush like last year.

"Well, how was it?" Ginny asked Maria. "The party at Malfoy's."

"Draco was a lovely host even if he invited some… unwanted guests…" She smiled though.

"Naomi is not that bad." I said, "neither is Emeline."

"No. I guess not but they do hang around with Sam so they can't be that good either." Maria signed, "Poor things."

"Huh…" I signed; Maria was so against Sam it was truly sad. I know that Sam and she had a past she has yet to tell. We understood what she did to Eliza and with haste put an end to our ties with her. We do not need this, not this year.

"I hope this year goes by easier with less drama."

"Well.." I ask thinking…" started Maria. She probably knew we would disagree with it. "ok. As you know we are very popular and we only just started our second year. I think we need to do something to keep us in the drama without being in it. I think… we should start a newspaper!"

"Like a gossip magazine." I responded.

"No. Like a newspaper." She snorted, "Please, you are one of the best writers."

I shook my head. I do not see this as a good thing. It sounds awful. Like who would want to read.?" I paled slightly, everyone. Maria is a genius when it comes to these things. She knows how to get information from people but…I think it is a horrible idea. We could hurt so many people.

"Don't give me that look. Just listen." Maria asked, "It will be secret at first, until we can get some credit for our cover. Get more people involve. Think of it this way. With the help of the library we create a front and back piece of parchment, normal size. We control three main pages. Whatever we write on them, others can see. It's like a quick update of the latest news."

"And how will we make those, that is advance magic." Ginny replied.

"We will find a way." Maria replied, "If it works, will you consider helping?"

Ginny nodded happily, "it sounds like a fun idea, as long as we don't hurt anyone."

"Of course."

"It is just an idea," Maria turned to me, looking hurt, "You don't have to shoot it down as soon as you can. I thought you would be excited."

"How can I be?" I explained, "It will lead us to get into deeper drama."

"it will be about Quidditch, and tests, advise." Maria rambled.

She rambled on about it for the rest of the ride. Maria had big dreams for this "small" project. I know she loves letters, writing and enjoys learning more about everything and everyone but I think this is the wrong way to go by it.

I just wanted to see Draco. I missed him greatly and I know Maria would rather keep us all together in the compartment, like old times, which I don't mind. I love her and Ginny. They are my best friends.

I just wanted this year to be peaceful and…

"Wow." Ginny said, opening the compartment door, I could hear other doors opening up aswell. "wonder, what's going on?"

The train stopped abruptly.

I slightly paled as I felt a chill come across our small compartment. The window became frosty and delicate. I could no longer see my pale reflection.

Ginny quickly closed the door and locked it. Ginny paled slightly and looks at Maria, who looked perfectly fine.

"Don't worry. They just have to make sure we are safe." She nodded. She pulled her clock a little tighter around herself as we watch the door unlatch.

A clocked black mass came toward us. I instantly felt myself shut down in fear.

"I love you." I could see the his lips move before I blacked out. I felt the hot warmth of the fire dancing around me. The smoke licking my face. The tear that rolled from my eye, as it ran , leaving not even a trail.

"Alice!" Ginny cried as she was holding my shoulders.

"Yes?" I asked weakly, looking up to see Ginny and Maria looking at me with worried expressions plaster on their face.

"You ok?" Maria asked, "You totally blanked out, your eyes rolled back and you paled. Is everything ok, the dementor is gone."

"The what?" I asked

"It was a dementor, a guard of Azkaban." Maria explained.

It was a dark creature that feeds on your happiest memories, they guard the Prison of Azkaban. They are here to search for Sirus Black. He is sold Mr. and Mrs. Potter to he-who-must-not-be-named and then killed his other best friend and muggles. The mention of the Potters send me into a chilled state, o, poor Harry.

"I heard they are going to guard Hogwarts."

"Merlin, no." I said, shaking my head, "Why?"

"Sirus Black is here for Harry." Maria replied cautiously. "I talked to Ginny about it and we both thought it would have been better not to tell you but we also felt you should know."

"But why would you want to keep this away from me?" I asked, hurt.

"Because…"Ginny replied, "You had a relationship with him and now you're with Draco. We don't want you to get back to him out of pity. We agree your relationship with him was toxic."

"I know it was toxic and I won't go back to him." I curtly responded. I can't believe they would think I am so pathetic to run back to Harry just because I feel the same pain as he does. We grew up in different situations but we both know what it is like to lose both parents."

After anther visit to the Hospital Wing for Eliza I looked at the clock. I still have an hour before I have to be back to get ready for the party. I smiled softly, the party will be splendid. I know Maria has the most amazing outfits and she had many dresses I haven't even seen yet.

I walk over to the Gryffindor common room, asking a 5th year if he would get me Harry. He smirked but complied and Harry looked slightly surprised that I was there.

"Hey, love." He said, kissing my check. "Everything ok?"

"Yea. I replied, "I just wanted to chat a little."

"Ok."

"I know you were young but…do you miss them?" I asked. I needed to know. I want to know if he felt my pain. At the orphanage we all shared the same burden of being parentless. I thought he might understand.

"Yes." He said, as we walked slowly to Ravenclaw Tower. "I know, I hardly know them but I think that is why, like what if, I ask myself that all the time."

"I get that feeling." I responded, "the what if…they were alive, I grew up with magic, I knew more about them, I had siblings." I couldn't help but laugh at the silly notion.

"I know it sounds awful but I'm glad I have someone that went through the same things I have." Harry said slowly.

"Me too."

We talked about more about what ifs before he dropped me to get me ready for the party.

"I'll see you soon."

I nodded before walking upstairs.

We shared our moments. I'll admit Draco and I come from different backgrounds and we won't have moments like that. We will look to future not the past.

I am done! This summer thing drove me nuts but I loved it anyways. Keep tune for Alice's second year! I have no idea what will be in store. I just hope my writing skills will improve and my ideas will flourish.

Have you heard of Duolingo? It's an app on the Iphone I just LOVE! I am finally learning some Spanish. Super excited about it, and addicted to the app. I'm still getting confused but taking French doesn't help. I'm alow working on a Diane de Poitier power point for my French midterm. I have to present it . I hope I do ok.
