None of the crew knew what hit them. It was all a blur, from sudden air and a rush, to a large amount of water splashing inside the barrel and a feeling of suffocation, then black. By the time Yams woke up, it was sunrise, and his barrel was afloat next to land, with another barrel next to it. Yams looked into it to check if any of his friends were in there, but there weren't. It was just full of water and sewage.

Sighing, Yams climbed out of his barrel while muttering words he heard the wolves say during his work in distaste to the sewage on him, then he proceeded to pull some leaves off of a bush nearby and wipe off the most sewage he can. "KREESE? BORO? YUKI?" he called out to the land ahead of him, but there was no answer.

After a groan, he starts to walk forward to the land, looking around for any sign of his friends, but with no luck. He continued to tread the grass for several minues, occasionally looking up to the sky to see if it looked like rain would fall soon. There were nearly no clouds in the sky, so we stopped looking after a while. After a large portion of the day spent walking, his stomach began to growl, and he started to stray off of the path that he was walking for search of any form of food. His path took him from a larger clump of trees, and the leaves and hidden branches began to blind him and cause him to trip over several times, giving him cuts all around that he had to grab some leaves to hold on the severe ones to stop the bleeding. He eventually found a pool of water, and such he grabbed fresh leaves from a round and dipped them in the pool, then padded them on his cuts to help heal it, although he winced more than once. After a half hour of drinking from the pool and wrapping wet leaves over some of his more severe cuts, and kept moving east.

Yams's stomach began to growl harder, and he looked harder in every bush to find any sort of berry. None of them had any food. Sunset began to ring out before Yams came across one bush that had dozens of berries, and he walked over and grabbed one. He knew many berries were poisonous, however, he didn't know which ones, so he examined this one carefully before getting the hypothesis that it wasn't poisonous. He grabbed a handful, threw one in his mouth, and walked north. A few minutes passed before he spotted a large trail of smoke go into the sky, illuminated by an orange glow at the bottom and the rising moon. He started to walk towards it before everything became a blur. Dropping the berries he carried, Yams started to become dizzy, and he dropped to his knees. He began to yell out, although unsure of what he yelled. He saw two people walk to him, although he didn't know who it was. One was about his height, and the other was green and holding something large and brown.

He passed out on the ground before he knew.

The next morning, Yams awoke dizzily in a small room. He didn't know where he was, but he saw that it was made out of a cloth of some sort. Silk? Cotton? He wasn't sure. He did know the bed he laid on was comfortable, so he refused to get up. He also had a large pain in his stomach, so he assumed that had something to do with the berries. But how was he not dead? He was wrong in his assumption of the poisonous berries, so if the berries were as poisonous as he was told, he would've died. He stopped being curious and looked over to the lit candle next to him. It was useless as sunlight shone through the room. After blowing on it and putting it out, Yams very slowly tried to get up, and although his stomach hurt, he got up and managed to walk a few paces to get out.

On the outside, it was a small round clearing with three other tents in a square fashion, and there was a fire pit in the middle that looked recently extinguished. He slowly limped over to the fire, and saw a few fragments of food in the charred ashes. "HEY YAMS!" he heard behind him, and he swung around so fast that he had to clutch his torso from a small bit of pain. He looked up, and Kreese and Yuki were walking toward him.

"Th-There you guys are..." Yams muttered, and Kreese chuckled. "We've been here for two days now, we were wondering where you and Boro are." "Wait..." Yams got up, with a worried face. "You don't know where Boro is?" "No, we don't." Yuki said, and Yams started to shake his head. "He has to be here somewhere." "Don't worry. Turtle Dude is going to help us." Yams looked to Kreese. "Turtle Dude?!" he exclaimed. "Yeah! There's this turtle dude that has this large staff, this is his camp before he goes to this place called the Jade Palace." "Wait, Jade Palace. I heard my parents say something about that before. Isn't that the place with the warriors that protect all of China? Or at least, one of them?" "I don't know!"

Yams sighed. "Well, where's Turtle Dude now?" Yuki shrugged. "He wasn't here when I woke up." "Thought so." Yams looked around. "So this is his camp." "Uh huh!" "It's cool."

Before Kreese or Yuki could reply, there was a slight noise in the bush behind them. They all turned around, although Yams turned around slow, and they saw "Turtle Dude" and Boro walk out.

"Boro!" Yuki exclaimed, and she ran over and hugged him, then sniffed him and slightly backed away. Kreese walked over and patted him on the back, and Yams waved because he didn't want to move. He looked to "Turtle Dude".

"Your name isn't Turtle Dude, is it?" he asked, and Turtle Dude smiled and walked over. "No. It is not. My name is Oogway, and I am here on recreation." "Nice to meet you, Oogway."

Oogway patted him on the head and walked away to his tent, and Boro walked to Yams.

"I'm hungry." Boro said, as the others rolled their eyes.
