Chapter 21: An Army of Vampires
They quickly caught up to the humans, each of them taking a human and draining them. The vampires killed the humans slowly, savoring the screams of terror. Once they were done, blood covered their faces and they grinned.
Shadow turned to Tails. "Are there anymore humans in the area?"
Tails shook his head. "No, those were the last."
Shadow sighed in disappointment. "Oh well, its almost sunrise anyway, and we've had our fill of blood for tonight."
The vampires nodded and turned into bats before heading back to the castle and going in their coffins to sleep until night fell again. When they awoke, Dracula had resumed control of Shadow's body. He got out of his coffin and looked at Blaze, leading her into their chamber. Blaze smiled and sat down next to her husband.
"My love, the night is young...what do you wish to do?"
Dracula thought about it and lay down next to her. "What do you want to do?" He asked suggestively.
"I would enjoy a run through the woods."
"That would be nice. in our normal forms, or as wolves?"
Blaze smiled. "Transforming into wolves would be nice."
Dracula smiled, then he kissed her. "Of course," he said. "Anything to spend the night with you."
Blaze blushed and they walked outside, transformed into wolves, and let out long howls. Then they ran out into the forest, enjoying each other's company. They ran through the forest, enjoying the cool night air as they chased each other almost playfully. The two wolves growled at each other then pounced, rolling around playfully. They turned back to normal and kissed. Blaze and Dracula looked at each other fondly.
"So, what are we going to do?" Dracula asked. "When the world is ours?"
"Whatever you wish my lord..." Blaze purred as she kissed him again.
Dracula smiled and kissed her. A few minutes later, they stood up, turned into bats, and flew back to the castle. When they reached the castle, they found Tails and Silver awake and awaiting them.
"What shall we do now, master?" Silver asked.
Dracula grinned, showing his sharp fangs. "Have all the people of Transylvania been killed?"
"Yes master. At least 30 people have been turned. They await in the town." Tails answered.
"Excellent. What do you suggest we do next?"
Tails looked thoughtful. "That...is not really my decision, my lord...that falls to you. However, if I may make a suggestion...maybe we could attack and turn another nearby town?"
Dracula thought about it and nodded. "That is a wise idea," he said. "However...let us attack a big city as well. If people are to fear us, we must strike in well-populated areas, like...England. There is a house there known as Carfax Abby that I have been interested in for some time."
"Very well, my lord."
Dracula chuckled and led the others into town. He saw the rest of the vampires and laughed evilly. The vampires heard him, and all of them bowed to him simultaneously. Dracula smirked, then addressed them. "Welcome, my new vampires...my children of the night. Together, we shall usher in a new age of terror, with me as your leader."
They nodded. Dracula looked around at his new recruits, chuckling. One of the vampires called out, inciting the beginning of a chant as the rest of the vampires followed his lead. "All hail Lord Dracula!"
Dracula smiled. "We will take the world as our own!" He shouted. "Vampires will rule!" The vampires cheered once more, driven into a delighted frenzy by their leader. "Come. Our next destination is London. Together, we shall spread out fury across the world!"
The vampires all transformed into bats and rose into the air in a dark swarm, Dracula, Tails, Silver and Blaze being the last to do so. The swarm of bats screeched and flew towards London with Dracula as the leader.
