Fierceness in her step and the world on her hip, a model strut lead Bayonetta to an open and luminescent surrounding. Her newly fitted black overall was the only negative colour in the mile radius, all other tones shone brighter than any shade her outfit could imagine. The diamond pattern attributed in her legs disturbed the grass that was once swaying in the breeze; now to be shaken at the touch of her skin. The stilettos she wore dug into the soil, marking her trail and leaving the dirt to rejuvenate from the disturbance her steps made. Her sapphire accessories that dangled from her ears fluttered in the wind as she made her way to the town in the distance—A place that would tell her her purpose as an umbra witch. Clocks started ticking slower; she grasped the gem inside her chest piece and held it into the sky, leading beams of light astray and making her crystal to light up with glee.
Sunshine spotlighted in front of Bayonetta; feathers glided across air currents and touched the floor only to dissipate. The witch replaced her stone into the moon sitting next to her heart and noticed an angel resting on a cloud presented by the heavens. Golden gates slammed shut and an otherworldly coercion pushed the celestial being, influencing it to use its wings. The wings were half the size of messenger itself, dazzling its ivory glimmer onto the space beneath it. As it ventured down through the sky, its features became apparent. The angel was wrinkled and worn with marble-like skin; sporting exhausted leather to wrap around its inhuman body. It held a religious article, imbued with mystical energy to strike at non-believing hearts.. An aureate ring hovered over its head, designed to guide people lost on their way. Bare feet clumsily fell pressed into ground, and after readjusting its posture, looked at the archaic maiden. She recognized this angel, a lower unit of the angelic hierarchy. A name she recalled as Affinity, apprehended as Christian believers that were deemed worthy ritualizing themselves for their soul to reside in the heavens.
The servant readied its weapon and pointed it at Bayonetta's heart.
"Oh, my. It has been a while since someone's visited. I started to think you forgot about me. I'll have you know, you aren't needed here. I don't need your halo to guide me anywhere, as I know exactly where I'm going. You just so happen to be in the way, my dearest. But, since you took the time to say hello, I'll play with you for a while."
