Chapter 5
Rose pov
I was fuming. I was so mad at him I could burst. Well, two hims. Adrian used compulsion on me which was low and Dimitri hurt him which was a terrible move
In all Dimitri's anger he 'forgot' you can't hurt moroi. He and I sit in the head guardian's office getting screamed at.
"We are guardians! We are supposed to protect moroi and here you go almost killing one! Dimitri Belikov you should be fired!" he yells
"If that's how you think it is illegal to use compulsion and Adrian did it. Dimitri was just trying to defend me. Technically speaking it I crime that he force me to do something I didn't want to." I reply
I was angry but I didn't want Dimitri to get in trouble. I'd rather have Adrian take the blame any day especially since he the reason I'm here saving Dimitri's butt.
"Well… I…" he was at a lost.
"Never let it happen again. Get out of my sight!"
I quickly pull Dimitri with me out of the room. I quickly give Dimitri a glance before pulling he to a stop at his room. We walk in and I explode.
"Why would you do that Dimitri? You are soooo lucky I found a way to get you out of this! You could have lost your job! Or worst got kicked out of court!" I was angry at him. He didn't think he could get away with this.
"I doesn't matter. Your mine and he's not allowed to touch you." He growls
"Wow Dimitri I thought you were different. Until you stop acting like a jealous monster I'm no yours. We're through!"
His whole face changes as he reaches over and strokes my cheek. I look into his loving brown eye.
"I'm sorry Roza. I overreacted." He whispers
I want to forgive him so bad I want to through myself in his warm arms and never leave. I can't though. If I act like that every time we get in a fight he's going to think he has al power over me.
"Apology not excepted. Not this time."
His eyes widen as I turn and leave the room.
