Episode 3 part 2: When digimons Rock
Roof of the concert dome: Data dome
The group appears at the same place and position they were before and they look around. Everyone except Allie and Arrest are confused.
"What happened?" Shouts the girl who was about to attack them.
"We are in the Data dome now!" Arrest answers.
The girl looks at him. She has Caucasian skin. She has pure blue eyes looking at the group, especially Shoutmon. She has blond hair with some blue part on the end of her hair. She wears a black shirt with a black jean without looking like a gothic. She has a silver earring on her left ear. She looks like around 17; Almost an adult.
At her side is an adult man of 20 to 30 years old. He has Caucasian, but tanned skin. He has blond hair and blond beard slightly giving the shape of the sun. He wears a black T-shirt with the left sleeve ripped. He has a red necklace around his neck. He wears black pants with a black belt.
"Anyway, what are you talking about? Shoutmon didn't do anything wrong!" Shouts Arrest, putting himself besides Shoutmon.
"He is the one kidnapping girls! I've seen him 3 times, and each time he escapes us...But not this time!" Says the girl.
"Minerva, he will try to run away," the blond guy says bluntly.
"You're crazy! I didn't kidnap anyone!" Protests Shoutmon.
"Oh yeah? Well the kidnapper I've seen is red, has a V-shape on his forehead, and a tail the same shape you have." Minerva explains.
"Wait!" Shouts Allie. "You are jumping to-"
"Let's hunt this bastard!" Shouts Minerva.
She pulls out an orange phone and presses a button. A light appears at the top of the cellphone. She spins the light over her head and she throws it in the blond guy direction.
"REFORMATING!" He shouts. "AaaaaaaaaAAAAAAHHHHHH!"
His body suddenly explodes into small data.
He is now an anthropomorphic lion. He has his dark orange skin covering his body with his big muscles. His pants are the only clothes that remain on him. He has blue eyes and is glaring at Shoutmon. His hair is the same color and style. He also has a tail ending with a blond tuft of fur at the end. He has 2 long ears with a ring on each. The red necklace is still there. His left arm has 3 belts. On his back, he has a sword named Shishiouken: The lion sword.
"REFORMATING COMPLETE! LEOMON!"
"Uh-oh!" Says Shoutmon.
Leomon charges at him and Shoutmon jumps from the top of the building. He lands on the empty street and starts running at his top speed. Leomon grabs Minerva and jumps down after him.
"STOP! HE'S NOT A KIDNAPER, IDIOT!" Screams Arrest. "Allie! Reformat me now!"
"Yes!" She answers knowing the urgency.
She presses the button on her phone. A light appears at the top of the phone. She spins the light over her head and she throws it in Arrest's direction.
The light moves under him and Arrest disappears under the light.
"ARREST...REFORMATTING!" Screams Arrest. "AaaaaaaaaAAAAAAHHHHHH!"
His body suddenly explodes into small data.
The light suddenly explodes and the purple dragon is back.
"REFORMATING COMPLETE! ARRESTERDRAMON!" He shouts. "Time to go!"
"COOL!" Screams a voice.
Arresterdramon and Allie look at the source of the voice and they see Gum-Gum near Arresterdramon.
"You too?" Shouts Arresterdramon.
"I'm Gumdramon now!" He shouts happily
Gumdramon's overall build is very similar to Veemon's, but has blue eyes, a small pair of yellow wings, and is covered with short purple fur. He also wears a red vest, has a white X scar on his forehead and a hammer-like tail that can be extended at long distance for use as a melee weapon. He doesn't look that much like his big brother.
"We have no time to understand what happened! Let's go." Shouts Arresterdramon. "On my back!"
Gumdramon and Allie climb on the back of the purple dragon. Allie puts her hands on at the base of the throat while Gumdramon hangs against the belly of his big brother's best friend. They fly away to end the fight before it goes wrong.
Vanessa's head appears and she looks at the purple dragon and a furry, cute, purple mini dragon and Allie on the back of the big one.
"Allie; what are you doing?" She asks worried.
She has seen Arrest transforming into a dragon and lots of question appear in her mind. One answer is clear, Allie lied to her... her best friend... But she wouldn't have believed her. Arrest being a dragon monster and, even the existence of the monsters is unbelievable. She climbs down from the building and tries to follow them. It was easy since purple stick out of the green sky.
Empty Street
Shoutmon runs at high speed with Leomon behind him with Minerva on his back. Shoutmon turns his head and he sees Leomon raising his sword.
"This day is turning bad!" He shouts.
Shoutmon raises his hands, summons his mic, and turns around. He knows he cannot escape Leomon. Leomon stops and he looks at Shoutmon. Minerva gets down of her partner back and looks at the red dragon.
"It's a shame that such a popular singer like you turned out to be a kidnapper of rich girls. But I don't even understand why you are doing this. What is your motive?" She asks.
"I don't have a motive! I didn't do it!" Replies Shoutmon.
"Sorry but the kidnapping correspond to the moment you arrive here and the physic also correspond, everything points to you." Says Leomon.
"I guess I need a lawyer," Shoutmon mutters.
"We are going to hunt you." Says Minerva.
"At least she will stop singing and playing your song all over my ears." Says Leomon quietly.
"Let's finish this." Says Minerva.
(Digimon Xros Wars Music Code 3 STAND UP~Instrumental~ Saxophone version)
Leomon charges at Shoutmon and Shoutmon blocks the sword with his mic and the battle continues for a while. Sword and mic hit again and again. Shoutmon rolls to the left evading the Leomon's sword. He jumps backward and the weapons collide again and again. The mic and the sword enter into contact and they are pushing to get the better of their opponent.
"Come on Leomon! You can beat him! He's a gnome dragon." Shouts Minerva.
"Gnome?!" Shouts Shoutmon.
Unfortunately, Leomon is stronger and Shoutmon loses his balance. Leomon continues with a kick at his face and the red dragon flies against the wall.
"Urgh..." Shoutmon grunts in pain. But he smiles when he sees Leomon charging at him.
The little dragon rolls to the left. The mic suddenly becomes a little longer. He smashes Leomon at his side and he flies against the wall. An explosion occurs because the powerful impact.
"Rock Soul!" Shouts Shoutmon with a fire ball in his hand. He throws it at Leomon and another explosion occurs.
"Ready to give up?" Shoutmon asks confidently.
"...Like this little fireball could crush me." Answers Leomon. "Lion King!"
Leomon uses his sword and he hits Shoutmon violently. A line passes over the chest of Shoutmon and blood comes out of the injuries.
Leomon then spins and he kicks the little red dragon's chest. He crashes against the wall and shouts in pain. Shoutmon tries to stand up but his legs shake too much...He then fall on his butt and he raises his mic.
"I...haven't lost...yet." Shoutmon groans.
Leomon swings his sword and Shoutmon loses the mic that flies away from him.
"It is over Shoutmon." Says Leomon. He raises his sword. "You fought well. Let me finish you painlessly."
"Unless you told us where you take the girls." Says Minerva.
"I haven't...kidnapped...any girls." Replies Shoutmon.
"Let's finish the hunt and you will tell us soon." Says Minerva.
Leomon drops his sword. Shoutmon closes his eyes when the sound of 2 metallic objects is heard. Shoutmon opens his eyes and he sees Arresterdramon blocking the sword of Leomon with his anchor and using his body to cover his friend. Allie and Gumdramon are on his back. They both get down and stand besides Arresterdramon.
(Theme end)
"LEAVE MY FRIEND ALONE!" Screams Arresterdramon.
"What do you mean your friend?!" Shouts Minerva. "A kidnapper who refuses to let go of his victims cannot get away with this."
"He would never, EVER do anything like that! Shoutmon has been my friend since we were kids!"
"What makes you believe he didn't change at all?" Asks Leomon. "Time changes everyone. The human world forces lots of unlucky digimon to end up doing the wrong thing to survive."
"Ok. Answer me this question if you can: How can my friend decide to kidnap girls around the town when he is a digimon who lives without any problem-" Arresterdramon is cut by Shoutmon.
"I'm a billionaire by the way." Says Shoutmon.
"Wh- Anyway...Why would a billionaire take the risk of kidnapping people?" He says after passing over the surprise that is friend is a very rich digimon.
"Well..." Leomon tries to find something.
"Maybe it is because it's risky. People do crazy things when they want or something illogical." Says Minerva.
"I didn't kidnap anyone!" Shouts the red dragon again.
"We've seen you kidnapping a girl...You are corresponding to the description!" Says Minerva.
"That is true." Says Leomon.
"I know that he didn't do it and I fully trust him." Says Arresterdramon.
"I'm with my big bro." Says Gumdramon. "He will never do anything wrong. Shoutmon is not that kind of digimon."
"I do not know him well." Says Allie. "But you seem to jump to conclusion...Did you even see his face?"
Arresterdramon looks at Allie and he smiles under his mask.
"..." Leomon and Minerva look at each other's.
"No...We didn't see his face." Says Leomon.
"What will that change anyway? His back is identical to Shoutmon." Says Minerva.
"Well..." Leomon looks closer at Shoutmon. "Now that I think about it...Something was a little odd."
"What do you mean?" Asks Minerva surprise.
"You are smaller than the one we've been chasing." Says Leomon.
"Again with my small size?" Asks Shoutmon.
"Sorry." Says Leomon. "But I don't believe he is the guilty one anymore."
"See! It cannot be my friend." Says Arresterdramon.
"But...I was so sure...then...Who can that be?" Asks Minerva.
In front of the concert dome: Data dome
Vanessa runs outside the concert dome and she stops running and trying to catch up her breath. She continues for a while and she walks at the direction she sees the purple dragon flying. She continues for a while and she watches the sky.
"Dammit...I've lost them." Shouts Vanessa. "If I cannot find them...I'll be stuck here forever..." She sighs. "I have to find them before they get out of this...place." Says Vanessa.
She walks for a while and she hears nothing. She continues when she ears footsteps. She thinks it is Allie and she runs at the direction and she sees a red being.
"Is that the little red lizard?" She wonders out loud.
She walks closer and she sees it turning around. The face isn't the one of a lizard from before. She backs away when she sees it walking closer. It charges at her and she tries to defend herself but it was too fast and too strong for her.
Empty Street
"How should I know?" Answers Allie.
"It can be a disguise." Says Gumdramon. "It's cool and they cannot recognize who is in it like during Halloween when I pass up has a devil."
"Wait!" Says Arresterdramon. "I think there is a digimon who can do that."
"I remember mom and dad hunt a master of disguise and deception." Says Gumdramon.
"I remember you've both told me about it." Says Shoutmon.
"There is someone like that in your world. Then it is possible to change into another form since you can take ours." Says Allie.
"Not that way." Says Arresterdramon. "This is different here."
"...There is one master of disguise." Says Leomon. "Betsumon."
"...Betsumon?" Asks Minerva.
"It's a digimon who is usually wearing a Gatomon costume. He is very dangerous and he cannot be underestimated." Says Leomon.
"He can disguise himself as any digimon he meets. That is what makes him dangerous." Says Arresterdramon.
"So he decided to disguise himself as me and took the opportunity to strike. But how can he know it was me...Shoutmon?" Asks the red dragon.
"Because your named are base from your real one. Shout...red hair and his V shape...the headphone, etc." Says Allie.
"That is true...You look a lot like Shoutmon but in a human form." Says Gumdramon.
"I...forgot often about this...There is no many human that can be suspected to be digimon that way." Says Arresterdramon doing a face palm.
"We just have to find him together." Says Allie.
"What...No way." Says Minerva.
"But it will go way faster." Counters Allie.
"You can capture it yourself." Says Arresterdramon. "But we want to rescue the girls too."
"...Fine." Says Minerva. "But it will take some time to-"
"ALLIE HELP!" Screams Vanessa traps in the arms of Betsumon and passing by them.
...
"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!" Screams Minerva. "HE JUST PASSED IN FRONT OF US! AFTER HIM!"
"Let's follow him. He might bring us to the other girls." Says Arresterdramon.
Leomon nods.
Arresterdramon takes Allie with his tail and put her on his back while Shoutmon and Gumdramon jump on the purple dragon and he flies in the air. Leomon takes Minerva he runs after Betsumon.
Arresterdramon tries not to be spotted by Betsumon and he maintains a distance in the air. Gumdramon, Shoutmon and Allie follow him with their eyes and they see him running to a factory and enter in it. Arresterdramon raises his hands and show Leomon where to go. Arresterdramon flies around it and tries to see if Betsumon gets out of the factory. He didn't. Arresterdramon flies down and he lands on the ground with his 3 passengers getting off his back.
Leomon stops to the other side of the factory and he stays outside. Minerva and Allie joined while the digimons watch if Betsumon tries to go outside.
"Miss...Well..." Says Allie.
"The name is Minerva." She says.
"Allie...What's the plan?" Asks Allie.
"We enter from both side and strike. I think he might have spotted us. But what if we can't find the girls?" Asks Minerva.
"MetalTyrannomon will smell them. He has a very good nose." Says Allie. "I think we need his help. MetalTyrannomon reload!"
MetalTyrannomon suddenly appears in front of them.
"He will be able to find the girls or Betsumon if he tries to escape." Says Allie.
MetalTyrannomon grunts and smiles.
"Ok...Let's go in the factory." Says Minerva joining her partner while Allie and MetalTyrannomon does the same.
"Let's go." Says Allie.
The digimons and the 2 humans enter in the factory.
MetalTyrannomon waits outside because he is too big and he would have to break the wall. Allie told him to stay outside until he hears the battle beginning.
They enter in the factory and they walk in the corridor quietly for a while. Leomon and Minerva walks from the north and climb to the second floor of the factory.
Arresterdramon and co. stays at their floor and they watch around and they see nothing.
"Can you feel his presence?" Asks Allie quietly.
"Yes...He is very close...I think he is at the second floor...We will climb soon." Says Arresterdramon.
They climb to the next floor when they find stairs.
Minerva and Leomon walk in a room and they see Betsumon and every girls kidnap. The girls are quietly mourning in fear, their eyes are covered with tissues and they are attached. Betsumon tries to attach Vanessa but she kicks his face and pushes his away.
"No way am I going to let you kidnap me!" She shouts at him.
Betsumon grunts at her and he is about to attack her when Leomon charges and attack with his sword.
Betsumon jumps in the air and he looks at Leomon.
"So looks like you really were impersonating Shoutmon." Says Leomon.
"Do not worry! We will rescue you." Says Minerva.
The girls calm down but they are still afraid.
Betsumon tries to escape by the south door but Arresterdramon appears and attack with his anchor and Betsumon dodges it.
"Something's telling me this fight will be short." Says Arresterdramon.
Betsumon charges at Leomon and he punches his face, Leomon is thrown to another room and Betsumon follows him. Arresterdramon and Shoutmon runs behind him while Gumdramon stays with Allie.
"Vanessa...Are you alright?" Asks Allie.
"I'm fine my friend." Says Vanessa. She looks at Allie. "You have a lot to explain to me Allie...But we have to get them out of here right now."
"True." Says Allie. "Gumdramon, free them while I go take care of Betsumon."
"Alright!" Says Gumdramon.
BOOOOM!
"Looks like it is serious." Says Allie.
"I'll help you... Gumdramon." Says Vanessa.
"Thanks!" Says Gumdramon with a smile.
They start releasing the girls and Gumdramon wonders how everything can be explained.
"Do not worry about anything." Says a voice that seems to have read his mind.
Gumdramon turns around and he sees a man with blue cloak covering him. He has a blue mask.
"They will not remember anything they have seen." Says the man. "And you, Miss Vanessa...Hmm...I think you also need to forget everything."
"Forget about it! I don't know what is going you but you are involved with it!" Shouts Vanessa. "My best friend is in all of this and you want me to forget it! SCREW YOU!"
"Hum..." The blue masked man walks closer to her. "Alright...But if you tell anything to anyone except the digimon hunters...You will forget everything."
"Who are you?" Asks Gumdramon.
"I do not need to tell my name now. You should go. I'll take care of them...Gumdramon." He then looks at Gumdramon closer.
"What is it?" He asks.
"Seems like the H-Loader has a little glitch...You transform like Arresterdramon when it was only targeting him...It is not a major glitch...But I think you can keep it for your pleasure." Says the blue masked man with a smile. "Now go...Before I change my mind."
Gumdramon stays there while Vanessa walks away. The blue masked man passes his hand over the face of all the kidnapped girls and they fall unconscious. He raises an object and the humans disappear.
"Are you the one who send us in the data dome?" Asks Gumdramon.
"...Yes. No one must know about the digimon existence." He says. "They will kill any digimons if they know the truth." He opens a door to the real world and he walks away.
"Okay...I think I'll join the others." Says Gumdramon flying at the direction of the battle.
Outside the factory
Betsumon is unconscious on the ground while Arresterdramon in armor mode, Shoutmon and Leomon are around the enemy digimon.
"Just like I said. A short fight!" Says Arresterdramon with a thumb up.
Minerva captures Betsumon and she stores it in her own H-Loader.
"It sure was easy with you helping us." Says Arresterdramon.
"True. And we have completed our first hunt." Says Minerva.
"Arrest, why did you let them have Betsumon?" Asks Allie.
"Do you expect me to digixros with him? Never in my life." Says Arresterdramon.
Leomon looks at him and then at Minerva.
"He got us." Says Leomon. "Never digixros me with him...It will bring so much shame."
"I'm the best in mind game!" Shouts Arresterdramon.
Vanessa and Gumdramon join them.
"What are you doing here?" Asks Allie.
"Did you free those girls?" Asks Shoutmon.
"Yeah...But some weird guy with a blue mask freed them." Says Vanessa.
"He brought them to the flesh world." Says Gumdramon. "He is also the one who throw us in the Data dome. He want to keep the digimon a secret...He also erase their mind of everything that happen."
Everyone looks at Gumdramon.
"Are we just some paws?" Asks Leomon.
"Maybe." Says Allie.
"How can we return to the real world?" Asks Minerva.
"The flesh world...Or real world...It's the same for all humans." Says Arresterdramon.
"I'll show you...I've test the H-Loader if you want to see it." Says Allie.
She explains how it works and Minerva listens to her. She then shows how to separate Arresterdramon and MetalTyrannomon who shows how to do digixros them.
"You electrified Arresterdramon nuts!" Shouts Minerva before laughing at him.
MetalTyrannomon laughs too and Gumdramon looks at his brother in shame. Shoutmon forces himself not to laugh.
"Fine...It was accident so I didn't raise my guard...GET OVER IT!" Screams Arresterdramon who pushes MetalTyrannomon who was only laughing stronger.
"Vanessa...I will explain everything to you after the concert." Says Allie.
"Alright...I think I agree...Too much happen already." Says Vanessa.
"Time to return home...Wait...Shoutmon." Says Minerva. Shoutmon looks at her. "Sorry for falsely accusing you of kidnapping the girls."
"It's alright." Says Shoutmon. "Well...HOLY! THE CONCERT STARTS IN 2 MINUTES! WE HAVE TO HURRY!"
They return to the real world to watch the concert.
Stage of the concert: Real world
Shout walks with his group at the center of the stage. Everyone was watching the group walking and preparing their instrument.
"HELLO EVERYONE AND SORRY TO BE 5 MINUTES LATE! TO BE FORGIVEN! THE CONCERT WILL HAVE A TRACK THAT WILL BE IN THE NEXT ALBUM RIGHT NOW!" Screams Shoutmon in the mic. "READY TO ROCK?"
"YEAH!" Everyone screams.
"LET'S ROCK!" Screams Shout.
They start playing their music. They play a track of their new album.
(They sing «Brave heart» of digimon adventure 01)
Everyone listen to the sound. The night was only a rock night and everyone was satisfied with the music.
When the concert was over, Arrest, Gum-Gum and Allie walk in the lodge of Shoutmon and they explain everything to her and she listens everything they are saying. Vanessa then asks to stop so she can digest what they have told her and Emily and Sarah join them in the lodge and they talk about Shout life and his big manor at a large beach. After a while, Arrest, Gum-Gum and Shout where together and talk until the night was there. Everyone returns home after this.
Arrest and Gum-Gum walk a little sadly but more joyfully, they enjoy the moment with Shout, but they are sad that he is already leaving the town for another concert at the next town.

Dorbickmon and every dragon digimons are looking at the banquet they prepare. With the money they obtain, they decide to pay for today a special banquet to raise the moral. Dorbickmon stands up and he raises his arms while the other dragon digimons where looking at the food with saliva falling from their mouth.
"We are here today to enjoy a special banquet so we can feast until our stomach is full for the first time since we are in the human world." Says Dorbickmon. "I will not make you wait for too long, but I want you to know we can have this banquet thanks to the money given by Shoutmon who wanted to have a feast. I can see you can't resist any longer so...EAT UNTIL YOUR STOMACH IS FULL!"
Every dragon digimons jump on the food and they eat and eat all the food they can until they reach their limit. Dorbickmon watches them with a smile and he eats all he can so he will not be leaving behind. He was the hungriest of all.
The next day, a crown street near binary school
Vanessa walks at the direction of her school and she sees Arrest walking with his pizza bag and he greets Vanessa and she greets him too. She still has some trouble believing all of this but she cannot deny what she sees and hears. She already had forgiven her best friend because it was very clear that it was something completely unbelievable. She hits someone back when she was in her mind.
"Oh! Sorry. Didn't see you." Says Vanessa.
"You should look whe- It's alright I mean." Says the man with black glasses over his eyes. His voice shows that he is around 30-35 years old.
"Well...I have to go." Says Vanessa.
"Wait...Who are you?" Asks the man.
"I do not have to answer you stranger. But I have to go." Answers Vanessa.
Click!
"Did you just take a picture of me?" Asks Vanessa.
"Maybe." Says the man with his cellphone. "Got to go for now. Maybe our path will cross once again. The name is DK by the way."
"Dk...Like Donkey Kong?" Asks Vanessa.
"NO! I'M NOT THAT MONKEY!" He screams. He clears his throat. "I...I mean...No...It's for something else."
"...Alright..." Vanessa walks away and watches her back in case the weird guy tries anything. He is only watching her.
When she was out of DK sighs, DK drops his sunglasses and he looks at where she disappears. His eyes are not the normal one of humans. His yellow eyes look at where Vanessa disappears.
"Hum...You look so much like her." Comments DK. "I better get my money. He doesn't do anything free." He then smirks.
AC: This is the end of the episode 3.
Episode 4: The mercenary samurai.
I know the battle scenes are disappointing but I focus more on the dialogue than the battle in this chapter. The next one will have a more important one I promise since it will not be an entire part to build the situation.
