Sorry this took so long to update. I've had a lot going on the past few days, a lot of anxiety. I probably won't be updating any of my fics til after Monday. I have to write my grant for class, it's due Monday, and I haven't even started it yet. So, once I finish this grant, I'll be able to update all the time until I start classes again. So, here's chapter 31!
Brian woke up when he heard giggling coming from downstairs. He realized that Olivia wasn't sleeping next to him. He put on a pair of pajama pants and a t-shirt and walked downstairs, seeing Olivia and Amanda giggling. "How come no one invited me to the party?" He feigned a pout.
Olivia giggled and reached a hand towards him. "Aw, baby, you were sleeping. I didn't want to wake you. You looked so peaceful."
He walked over to her and sat behind her, giving her a kiss on the back of the head. "What are we giggling about?"
Amanda giggled. "We were actually talking about you."
"Don't believe a word she says, it's all a lie."
Olivia smiled and looked back at him. "Who said it was bad stuff?"
Brian wrapped his arms around her. "Well if it's not, why are you giggling?"
"Because we're girls, it's what we do." Amanda said, taking a bite of the raw cookie dough they made for themselves.
She leaned back against him and smiled. "If you really want to know I'll tell you later."
"Oh, so it's like that, huh?" He started to tickle her and smiled when he heard her laugh.
"Bri, baby," she said through her laughs. She tried to break free. "Babe, I need to pee." He let up and she got up and ran to the bathroom.
Amanda smiled as she watched them. She saw Brian watch her walk to the bathroom and she rested her head on her hand and spoke gently. "She really loves you, you know. We were talking about the cute things you do for her. She keeps saying that she's so lucky to have you."
He smiled gently. "I'm the lucky one. When we first met fifteen years ago, the fact that she even looked at me made me feel special. I'm just glad I have her now."
Olivia smiled and walked back in, hearing the last bit of the conversation. She wrapped her arms around him from behind and gently kissed his neck. "I love you," she whispered.
Amanda smiled gently. "You two are too cute."
Olivia took her spot that she vacated moments ago and she took Amanda's hand. "He's out there, Amanda."
"Who?"
"Your Prince Charming. Trust me; I had to kiss a lot of frogs before I found mine. Turned out I had him years ago and didn't know it."
She felt Brian kiss behind her ear and she smiled. "Amanda. I know that I already asked you to be a bridesmaid, but… will you be my maid of honor?"
Amanda's mouth fell open. "Are you sure, Liv, I mean…"
Olivia reached over and took her hand, "I wouldn't ask if I weren't sure, it's totally fine if you don't want to, but you're my sister."
Amanda threw her arms around Olivia and smiled. "I'll do it."
Olivia smiled and hugged her back. "One request, no strippers at the bachelorette party."
"Noted." Amanda hugged her and smiled. "You two should get some sleep."
Olivia smiled. "Take an anti-anxiety pill; it'll help you get a little sleep at least. You need it."
Amanda nodded and watched them walk upstairs. "Goodnight."
Olivia smiled. "Night," she called back to her. Once Olivia and Brian got back into the bedroom he shut the door and wrapped his arms around her. She smiled and gently scratched the back of his neck. "Mm. Hi."
He smiled and dipped his head to kiss her. "Hi." He captured her lips with his, pulling her body closer. She let out a small moan, feeling his hands slip under his shirt she slept in. He broke the kiss and smiled. "I could kiss you all day and all night long."
She bit her bottom lip and smiled. "What's stopping you?"
He picked her up and lay her down on the bed, climbing on top of her. "Nothing now." He dipped his head and kissed her again passionately. He felt her hands on either side of his face as they kissed.
She ran her tongue over his bottom lip, begging for access to his mouth. When he opened his mouth she slipped her tongue past his lips, massaging his tongue with hers, gripping onto him as tight as she could. He broke the kiss and let his lips trail down her neck. She gasped and arched her back. "Oh, Bri." She felt him hold her close. "Oh, that feels amazing," she whispered.
He smiled and took the t-shirt she had on off over her head and started to suck on her collar bone. She smiled and ran her hands through his hair, letting out soft moans. He smiled and once he was satisfied that he left a mark on her collar bone he kissed back up to her lips. "You're so sexy."
She smiled and ran her hands over his shoulders. "What are you going to do about it?" She felt him run his hands over her body. She felt a hand slip into her panties and she groaned. She felt him push two fingers inside her and she arched her back. "Shit," she seethed.
He smirked and kissed her, starting to move his fingers in and out of her at a quick, steady pace. He moved his thumb over her clit, his kisses swallowing her moans. Her hips moved into his hand as she grabbed onto him. He broke the kiss and whispered in her ear. "You like that, baby?" He moved his fingers as if he was signaling her to come to him inside of her.
She gasped and arched her back, letting out a moan. "Oh, fuck baby, don't stop."
He smirked and whispered softly. "Oh, you feel so good. Come on, baby. Let go, come for me."
His raspy whisper sent her tumbling over the edge. Her walls clenched around his fingers, her muscles tensed throughout her body and her back arched clear off the bed. She rode out her orgasm then pulled Brian in for a kiss. She broke the kiss, breathless. She felt him take his fingers out of her and she moaned softly, seeing him put his fingers in his mouth.
"Mm. Tasty." He kissed her again, letting her taste herself on his lips. He broke the kiss and smiled. "I love you, Liv."
She smiled and wrapped her arms around him. "I love you, too." She kissed him quickly and smiled. "Brian, fais moi l'amour."
"I love it when you speak French, even if I don't know what it means."
"Make love to me," she whispered, answering his unasked question.
He smiled and kissed her gently, shedding his clothes and pulling off her panties before kissing her again. He pushed inside of her. They moaned together and she looked up into his eyes. He smiled and gently caressed her face. "You're so beautiful."
She smiled and shifted under him, moaning as her movements forced him to move inside her. She rested her hands on either side of his face and smiled. "I love you," she whispered, feeling him start to move inside of her. She arched her back.
Their pace was slow, but they were in perfect sync with one another. They moved together for a good hour, this was intense, and they both wanted this to last. It was a welcome change from their usual need to make the other come as quickly as possible. They orgasmed together, and once they finished he collapsed on top of her. They were a tangled mess of limbs as they kissed.
He broke the kiss, they were both trying to catch their breath, and all he could do was look into her eyes and smile. He rested his forehead against hers, their eyes closed and he rolled off of her, pulling her close. He gently ran his fingers through her hair. "I love you."
She smiled and rested her head on his chest. "I love you, too, Bri." She closed her eyes, smiling at the feeling of his arms around her. "I'm going out with the girls tomorrow. Bridesmaids dresses." She looked up at him with a smile. "Then I'm going to have Amanda help me pick out what I'm going to wear on our wedding night, a few pieces for the honeymoon," she smirked up at him.
"Am I going to get to see these, or are you going to make me wait?"
She smiled and kissed him gently. "As much as I want you to see all of them, on me, I want them all to be a surprise, so when I walk out with them on, you'll look at me and be stunned before waning to rip them off."
"You're going to torture me."
"I'll keep you busy," she winked and giggled. She kissed him again softly, and looked into his eyes. "But now, I think we should get to sleep, so we are able to function tomorrow."
He gently kissed the top of her head. "I think that will be easy after the incredible hour we just had."
She smiled. "Mm. Hour and a half," she whispered and rested her head on his chest, snuggling closer to him, snuggling under the blankets as she drifted off into a peaceful sleep. The next morning she woke up when she heard their daughter cry over the baby monitor. She got up and put on a tank top and a pair of shorts.
She walked into the nursery and smiled, changing her daughter's diaper and then carried her over to the rocking chair, starting to feed her. She gently rocked in the chair with her as she gently hummed a song. Within a few minutes Brian opened the door a smile on his face. She looked up at him and her smile grew. "Good morning, Daddy."
He walked over to them and kissed her forehead, turning his attention to their daughter and caressing her cheek gently. "Good morning." He leaned in and gave Olivia a soft kiss on the lips.
Olivia smiled and felt her daughter stop suckling on her breast and she fixed her top and started to burp Charlie. "That's a good girl." She looked up at Brian and smiled. She stood up and kissed Brian gently. She heard laughing from downstairs. It was Amanda and Calvin. She broke the kiss gently. "How about we make breakfast?"
"Sounds perfect." They walked downstairs, into the kitchen. Brian kissed Olivia's head before she walked over to Amanda and Calvin.
"How are you feeling today?"
Amanda shrugged. "Tired, sore." She pursed her lips and nodded gently.
Olivia smiled. "I'll tell you a secret, holding a baby helps heal you in here," she whispered, holding a hand over her own heart. She saw Amanda look up at her and she handed her Charlie.
Amanda held the little girl close to her chest and felt her cuddle into her warmth. She smiled and felt tears run down her face. "Even after…"
Olivia rested a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, she's so little, she's not going to remember that," she whispered shaking her head. "You, both of you, are safe now. That's all that matters, that and you starting to heal." She gently rubbed her daughter's back. "You have a family, Amanda, right here. Brian, Calvin, Charlie and I… We're not blood, but… Blood doesn't make a family. You have us. We're here for you, however we can support you."
Amanda felt herself start to cry harder. She fell into Olivia's embrace, holding Charlie to her tight. Olivia was right. She felt a little piece of her come together again, a piece that had previously been broken. She didn't know if it had been broken for a long time, or if it had been broken by her assault, but whatever it was, Charlie, Olivia, this little family that opened their arms to her, was putting her heart back together, piece by piece.
Olivia looked at Brian and Calvin and signaled for them to come over. They came over and hugged Amanda. Olivia smiled and lifted Amanda's chin. "We got you."
Amanda smiled and gasped. "The dress shopping… that's today. The bruises… I…"
"Hey, I got it, trust me?" She saw Amanda nod and took Charlie back, handing her off to Brian and she brought Amanda into the downstairs bathroom. "I grew up with an abusive alcoholic mother; I learned quick how to cover up bruises and cuts." Olivia covered up Amanda's bruises and cuts that would be visible in a dress and she smiled. "Tell me what you think," she said gently, moving out of the way of the mirror.
"Liv," she touched where she knew a few of the bruises were. "You can't see them." She turned to her and hugged her.
Olivia smiled. "I had a lot of practice as a teenager. It's just a matter of a few different concealers and some good blending."
"You know when and if you ever decide to retire from NYPD, you could be a make-up artist."
She smiled. "Well, I'm good with glamor make-up and cover ups, but not much else."
"I'd hire you."
They shared a little giggle, smelling food cooking. "Come on, smells like Brian's cooking breakfast." The two women walked out into the kitchen. "Smells good, whatcha cookin'?" Olivia asked, wrapping her arms around Brian from behind.
"Eggs, bacon… Pancakes." He looked back at her and smirked. He saw her roll her eyes and pulled her forward, wrapping an arm around her, kissing the top of her head. He whispered in her ear so only she could hear. "Well, I wanted pancakes for breakfast, one way or another."
She playfully slapped his chest and kissed him gently. Amanda piped up from the island. "I'm getting a toothache from how sweet you two are."
Olivia giggled and looked back at her. "Sorry."
Amanda smiled. "It's nice to see this side of you, Liv. I mean, I see Badass Benson every day, but getting to see you happy and being a mom is just… It's a nice change from the woman who would castrate a man with her bare hands."
Brian looked from Amanda to Olivia. "Remind me not to get on your bad side," he said, flipping the pancakes in the pan.
Olivia giggled and took Charlie from his arms and kissed her nose. "My pretty little angel," she whispered and held her close. She saw her try to hold her head up but she fell back against her chest and she shook her head, ultimately wiping her nose on her chest. Olivia smiled.
Brian turned to look at everyone. "Breakfast is ready. Have a seat."
Everyone sat around the table; Olivia grabbed the baby sling and put it on, resting Charlie in it before sitting down to eat with her family. Amanda took a bite of the pancakes and let out a small moan of appreciation. "My God, Brian, these pancakes are insanely delicious."
"They are," he smirked, earning himself a playful smack on the arm from Olivia, who was now beet red.
"Alright, what am I missin'?"
Olivia answered, a little too quickly. "Nothing."
She nodded. "Uh huh." She dropped it for now, but she made a mental note to bring the topic up to Olivia again later.
Once they finished breakfast, Olivia and Amanda got dressed. Brian walked upstairs and into the bedroom, seeing Olivia walking around in a tight pair of jeans, putting her earrings on. She looked at him and smiled. "Hey," she kissed him gently. She felt his hands on her ass and she let out a small moan. "Amanda and I need to get going."
"You wear these tight jeans to torture me, I swear."
She looked at herself in the mirror then back at him. "See something you like, Cassidy?"
He let out a growl, earning a giggle from her. He rested his hands on her hips, standing behind her. "You know it, baby," he whispered in her ear, gently nibbling on her ear.
She closed her eyes and smiled, letting out a gentle moan. "I'm going to be in these jeans all day; you'll have time to peel them off me later. We have an appointment to get to," she whispered and turned in his arms. She wrapped her arms around him. "We'll be back home soon, promise." She winked and kissed him passionately, feeling him dip her. She giggled and broke the kiss gently. "I need to put my shoes on and go," she whispered.
He stood her back up and kissed her again gently. "Alright, baby. I love you."
She smiled and rested her hand on his cheek. "I love you, too." She slipped into her flats and walked downstairs, meeting up with Amanda and kissing Calvin and Charlie on their foreheads and smiled. "I'll be back in a little bit." She gently messed up Calvin's hair and she smiled, grabbing her keys and they headed to the car, driving to the bridal shop to look for bridesmaids dresses.
They met up with Alex, Casey, and Melinda and Olivia smiled. "Well, I'm not picky, all I ask is that it's floor length and either purple or teal. Other than that, it's up to you."
Olivia sat on one of the lounge chairs as they went searching. She accepted a glass of champagne and smiled as her friends shopped. She looked at all of them when they came out in the same dress. It was a lovely strapless dress, it was white, but could be dyed into whatever colors they needed. It was floor length, and had an opening in the front; the dress and the trim could be dyed. "Wow."
Melinda smiled. "Amanda found it, and we all loved it so much, we figured we could dye it."
"The dress purple, the trim teal, what do you think, Liv?" Amanda asked.
"It's perfect. You guys are so… incredible." She stood up and hugged them all. "Purple dresses with a teal trim, you guys are going to look beautiful."
"Not as beautiful as you." Alex smiled gently.
Olivia smiled. "How about we all go get a mani-pedi , since this didn't take nearly as long as I expected."
The girls all looked at each other and nodded. They paid for their dresses, set up appointments for fittings and walked to the nail salon nearby. They settled into their pedicure chairs and relaxed, letting the nail artists do their work.
Olivia looked at everyone. "I'm going to get a wax while we're here. I'm due." She heard the 'ooooh's from the other women and she rolled her eyes. "Like you didn't know Brian and I were doing it. We have a kid together," she giggled.
"Speaking of which, Liv, what was the whole pancakes thing about this morning?"
"Pancakes? Do tell," Melinda smirked.
Olivia blushed a little, fiddling with her thumbs. "It's his nickname for me. I don't even really know where it came from. This morning when I asked what he was making for breakfast, he told me and when he said pancakes he said he wanted his pancakes one way or another this morning."
"That's why he said what he did after I said that the pancakes were insanely delicious."
"Also why I turned a shade of red equivalent to the polish on your toes."
Once their mani-pedi i was finished and Olivia had her wax, they all parted ways. Olivia and Amanda went back to the house, smiling seeing Brian sitting on the couch watching TV. "Hey, you." Olivia smiled and kissed the top of his head.
"You're home."
Olivia smiled. "Yeah, the girls found the dress they all loved early so we went and had an afternoon of pampering, we got our nails done."
"And I'm shocked you still have a voice, Liv."
"Hey, it had been a while."
"What, couldn't handle the foot rub?" Brian asked with a shit eating grin.
Olivia rolled her eyes. "I got a wax; I hadn't had one in a while, I forgot how bad it hurts."
"Oh, my poor baby, should I kiss it and make it better?" he asked in a husky whisper.
"Mm. Behave yourself, Cassidy," she warned.
