Double Trouble
"Don't you think you were a bit hard on Diana?" Superman asked. He lands next to the bat jet. He touches his ear so as to confirm his interrogation with the Dark Knight. Batman merely narrows his eyes but he offers no explanation.
"Look what is done is done so let's give it up for now"Aquaman replied. He appears with Cyborg and Flash.
"Hawkgirl how is our guests?" Batman switches to his earpiece.
"They're doing just fine. So how was the trip?"Shayera asked. She turns away from their recent prisoners.
"You can say it went rather well" Cyborg waves it off. He made his way to the Watchtower's snack room.
"Is there any word on Zatanna?"Flash asked. He leans forward eagerly.
"No she's still avoiding the subject. After all she did lose her dad to Deathstroke"Hawkgirl relayed sadly.
"There goes our homo magi" Flash grimaces. He had hoped she would reconsider her voluntary actions in quitting the league.
"What about that Spectre guy? You think he would be interested in helping us?''Flash asks Superman.
"He's currently in Hell" Batman answers quickly.
"So that's a no?" Flash persists.
"It's a definite no besides he would not respond even if we called him" Batman explains his situation.
"What other members do we have now?" Flash asked on the subject.
"Well there's Mintou Dawn" Superman responded
"Where is she? Flash asked
"She's assisting Raven" Aquaman replied.
"Aw man" Flash whines.
"Huh, what about Phantom Stranger?" Aquaman asked.
"What about him?" Superman follows along with him.
"He can come in and help us track Deathstroke"Flash rambles.
"He's currently away on a mission with Captain Atom and Power girl" Superman sighs.
"That Constantine bloke?" Flash blurted next.
"Good luck in finding him" Batman replied irritated. Aquaman points to their silver screen.
"It looks like we got trouble" He announces. Other than the bank in Star City was being robbed nothing much. Flash just sigh.
"When will these people give it up? I mean seriously they have got to know we're on duty" He pouts.
"Right… Flash, Superman and I will go along and see what is going on" Batman points to the trio. Hawkgirl and Aquaman merely glance at them.
"I need you all to remain behind just in case there's another distress signal" Batman ordered the lot.
"Got it" Cyborg nods in the doorway. He watched as they disappeared once more in the night. Hawkgirl turned her head.
"Hey look who showed up"Hawkgirl lit up.
At Star City
"Remember boys they'll be showing up any time soon" Whisper A' Daire predicts.
"Oh shiz we forgot the Arrow" one young fella screeches. Whisper glances up at the blonde Robin Hood.
"Make that Green Arrow and Black Canary" Black Canary laughed. She went ahead and releases her canary cry.
"Just do something!" Whisper barks at her henchmen. She made her way out the back though. Upon opening the door she ran into Flash himself.
"Going somewhere?" Flash smirks. Whisper narrows her blue eyes.
"Yeah away from you"She spat but she on purposely spit out acid at him. The speedster was quick in dodging it however.
"That wasn't very nice" Flash appears further back from where he was originally. Whisper could hear her men squealing inside.
"Shut her up someone!" a man wails. He falls to his knees causing Dinah to advance on him. The others were well on their way of being apprehended by Green Arrow as well.
"Well that was easy" Black Canary comments. She places her hands on her hips. The ground erupted causing her to step backwards.
"What the …."Black Canary gasps.
"Grundy kill you dead!" Solomon Grundy vows. He climbed out of the ground like any real life zombie horror would.
"Look out!" Green Arrow cried out. Black Canary rolled on her side while he swats at nothing.
"Can't stop Grundy!" Grundy yelled. Black Canary glances upwards.
"Not if I can help it" Ollie shot an arrow directly at his back.
It caused the timer to go off and explode. Black Canary moved away from him. Superman broke through the bank's door and slammed into his double over form.
"I'll take it from here" He orders the duo. They nod their heads and began leading the hostages out.
"Looks like we're up" Mirror Master whispers. He peeks out of the bank's shiny mirrors.
"No not until he arrives"Clayface search for Batman.
"There he is" Mirror Master points to him. The man remains focus on aiding Flash with the ever so shape shifting Whisper A'Daire.
"This should be easy" Mirror Master exclaim in glee. He steps out of the mirrors.
"Hey three against two isn't fair" Flash whines.
"Make that two against two" Batman coldly replied. Whisper remains unconscious on the ground. He crushed her shiny earrings.
"You take him and I'll take the Flash" Mirror Master ordered Clayface. He didn't waste time in attacking the much hated Gotham defender.
Batman just threw his bat boomerangs at him. Clayface turned into a giant sledge hammer and attempted to crush down on him but they attack his under arms thus delivering a high voltage of electricity to him.
Ulquiorrra just observed as they successfully over power their foes. Hell even Grundy was knocked backwards into a secure vault rendering the potential threat unconscious. Superman flew by Batman and Flash's side.
"Any problems?" Superman asked them.
"No there were none" Batman replied softly. He glances at the other members who appeared.
"The hostages are in safe custody of the police. I think now would be a good time for us to leave since they'll take it from here" Black Canary reports. Green Arrow was seen talking to the policemen.
"Alright but let's make sure they are in a suitable cell since it doesn't take much for them to break out" Batman gestures to the likes of Grundy.
