Madam Xanadu stiffens when she heard a knock on her door. She wordlessly made her way to it. Having sense an arrival of someone and soon she knew it was a matter of seconds before she found out who the mystery guest was.
"It's me Batman can I come in?" He asked gruffly. He tried heavily to disguise his visible injuries despite the obvious pain his body was in.
"What can I do for you?"She asked. She continues to remain solemn especially since the passing of her fellow homo magi and somewhat ex-lover.
"I need your skills in precognition" Batman states quickly. He shuts the door behind them.
"I shall consult the tarot cards as well" She murmurs under her breath. Superman eyes her.
"Please….it won't take long" Batman explains his actions.
"Hmm it seems that you have cause for concern" She began her readings.
"What do you see?" Superman asks.
"An foe from an unlikely world that you have never come across-personally" Madam Xanadu began to explain herself.
"Where are they at?" Batman inquires impatiently.
"A desert area um I can't see the sun so I'm assuming a location which is mostly night" Madam Xanadu study the information beforehand.
"Can you give us a name?" Superman press lightly.
"No, but, I can identify the source which provoked you"Madam Xanadu dodges his question.
"What was it?"Batman followed her along.
"A creature that is sure out of your reach. In fact you need a soul reaper to defeat these hollows" She whispers solemnly. Superman and Batman glance at her.
"Are you sure that's the only way?" Batman checked.
"Positively unless you're able to recruit Nelson or Constantine but who's to say they won't do so in a timely manner?" Madam Xanadu murmurs. Batman narrows his eyes but he rises.
"Excuse me I seemed to have misplaced mine" He states hastily.
"You don't mean him?" Superman referred to Diana's husband.
"It would seem so" Batman muttered.
"Let's see if Dr. Fate can be of assistance?" Superman began to excuse. He didn't want to intrude on Byakuya's honeymoon once more.
"It won't work Clark since he's disinterested in anything further we're in" Batman growled.
"Yeah but this is an emergency" Superman began to argue.
"It doesn't matter''Batman snapped.
"I'm going to talk with him nevertheless" Superman flew off in the opposite direction. Batman made his way to his jet. So long for being logical.
