Chapter 6
Hello! Sorry this took so long, I have been having some personal issues, but I am trying
to update, I'm sorry I suck at it! But, I hope you enjoy this chapter!
*Ratchet POV*
Wheeljack stared at me in disbelief after I had told him the news.
"Are you sure Doc'? I mean, I really don't think the Commander and myself have anything
in common, maybe you should check again," He told me.
"Wheeljack, I am very sure of this and I know I am not mistakened," I told him a scowl on
my face.
He let out a deep sigh," Alright, I'll do it."
"Good, then come with me into the medbay to get this done," I told him motioning for him
to following me.
He drug his feet all the way into the medbay and once in there he sat down in one of the
chairs in the room. He went for staring at me, Magnus and the wall.
After I had got the tools necessary I walked over to hima and put my hand out for him to
give me his arm. He reluctantly stretched his arm out and I went as quickly as possible drawing
the energon out before releasing his arm.
He stood up and headed towards the door but he stopped and looked back at me.
"Make sure the Commander is okay, alright?" He asked me quietly.
I was shocked by the tone of his voice and after shaking out of my state I replied," O-of
course, Wheeljack, he'll be fine now."
He let a small soft smile show," Good."
And with that he left and I waited until I hear the door click shut before finishing up the last
step. After connecting all the little devices to Magnus' little body, I put the vile of the donated
energon from Wheeljack into the main part of the device.
With I deep breath I initiated the transfusion and watched as the room lit up. Magnus was asleep during the entire thing so he
wouldn't be shaken up by it and once it was done he was still sleeping soundly.
I noticed that his breathing and spark rate had steadied out a bit. I knew that the full
effects of the transfusion would take a little time to set in completely, so I exited the medbay after
making sure he would be alright while I was gone.
*Optimus POV*
I watched as Ratchet came out of the medbay, looking fairly exhausted. I walked up to
him and put my hand on his shoudler before speaking.
"How is he?" I asked him.
"It will take while for the full effects to set in, but from the immediat results I have seen so
far, yes, I believe that he will be alright," Ratchet said to me.
"That's very good Ratchet, I never doubted your expertise for a second," I told Ratchet,
framing his face in my hands and pressing a kiss lightly to his forehelm.
"Thank you, Optimus," He murmured quietly against my chest plates.
"Perhaps you should tell the others the good news, I believe Wheeljack would be
pleased, he seemed rather worried once he came out of the medbay," I told him.
"Yes, I noticed his change in emotion as well, he asked me to make sure that he would
be alright, of course I couldn't promise him that but I told him that it would be okay,
" Ratchet told me.
"Wheeljack may have a tough external personality, but I believe that for certain people he
could possibly open up," I said to him.
"Yes, yes, alright, let's get this over with, I want to get some recharge," Ratchet said
shooing away from the subject of Wheeljack's emotions.
I watched Ratchet as he came into the larger part of the main room, where everyone else
was gathered at. He seated himself rubbing his optics tiredly before being startled with a
sudden attack of questions.
"How is Ratchet?" Arcee asked
"Is he gonna be okay?" Raf asked next.
"Yeah, come on Doc tell us!" Bulkhead insisted.
"Alright alright, enough!" Ratchet exclaimed, and everyone silenced immediatly, knowing
Ratchet's temper.
"Is he gonna be alright Doc?" A quiet voice came from the corner and I recogized as
Wheeljack.
*Ratchets POV*
I looked in the corner of the room, to see Wheeljack slouched against the wall," Yes,
Wheeljack, as far as I can tell the transfusion seems to be working, but only time can tell
now."
"But for now, he's gonna be okay?" He confirmed sitting up from the wall.
"Yes, don't worry, he'll be fine," I said once more.
"Can I see him?" He asked.
I sighed," Just for a couple minutes, I don't want to disturb his stasis."
"Thanks Doc," He said as he walked by Ratchet, patting his shoulder.
I shudder slightly in the back of my mind at the idea that Wheeljack has feelings for Ultra
Magnus, that would be a rather irritating couple. For the simple fact that they would bicker
and argue all the time, I knew that would get on my nerves.
"He will be alright though?" I heard Raf ask from my side.
I turned my head," Yes, Rafael, I believe that he will be fine."
I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked back to see Optimus," I think you should get
some rest Ratchet, we will make sure to keep an eye on Magnus."
"Alright, if it'll make you shut up and stop nagging on me, I'll go get some recharge," I said
to him rolling my optics.
He chuckled as I stood and made my way to our shared quarters. Once in the room I laid
back on the berth and closed my optics sighing in relief. Everything seemed to go well but
there isn't that much to tell directly after the transfusion.
"I'll just have to wait and see, just like I told everyone else," I murmured to myself before
drifting off into recharge.
So everyone! I haven't updated forever and I apologize, hope y'all enjoy and
please review as always!
